'S HEAD URGING THOSE WHO MAY HAVE ANY OF THE RECALLED PRODUCTS TO JUST THROW THEM OUT. THEY COULD MAKE YOU VERY SICK. I SAW THEM LIKE WIPING THE SHELF AND EVERYTHING AND THE SHELVES WERE BARE. WHERE THEY HAD ALL OF THAT. THE USDA SAYING A SAMPLE OF BOAR'S HEAD READY TO EAT LIVER WAS FROM A MARYLAND STORE, TESTED POSITIVE FOR LISTERIA FRIDAY, BOAR'S HEAD, RECALLING 200,000 POUNDS OF THE LIVERWURST AND OTHER DELI MEATS PRODUCED BETWEEN JULY 11TH AND 17TH. VERY CONCERNING AFTER HOURS OF DISINFECTING, STOP AND SHOP IN BIG WHITE STORES SAYING THE DELIS ARE BACK OPEN SATURDAY. IT WAS DISAPPOINTING. I THINK IF THEY IF THEY FOUND SOMETHING WRONG AND THEY AND THEY TRIED TO REMEDY IT, THAT'S A GOOD THING. THE BOAR'S HEAD RECALL COMING ON THE HEELS OF A FATAL LISTERIA OUTBREAK LINKED TO STORE SLICED DELI MEAT HOSPITALIZING MORE THAN 30 PEOPLE AND KILLING TWO. IF YOU HEAT UP ANY OF THESE DELI MEATS TO 165°F, THAT KILLS THE LISTERIA. LISTERIA IS ESPECIALLY DANGEROUS TO THOSE WHO ARE PREGNANT, OVER 65, OR HAVE WEAKENED IMMUNE SYSTEMS. IN A WRITTEN STATEMENT, BOAR'S HEAD WRITING, WE ARE COOPERATING FULLY WITH GOVERNMENT AUTHORITIES AND CONDUCTING OUR OWN INVESTIGATION INTO THIS INCIDENT. I THINK WE'RE JUST GOING TO STAY AWAY FROM THEM FOR A WHILE UNTIL THINGS CLEAR UP AGAIN TONIGHT. BOTH STOP AND SHOP AND BIG WINE STORES CONFIRMING TO US THAT THEIR DELI COUNTERS ARE BACK OPEN.
