MAN UNITED POST MATCH | Hurzeler, Welbeck And Pedro React To LATE WIN

Fabian Hurzeler very well done two wins in two how do you feel yeah of course it was very emotional always when you when you get the win in the last minute it is emotional but I think um we deserved to win we we made a a good game not a perfect game there was also situations um where United had a chance to to to win the game but in the end I think it's it's deserved and I'm very proud of the team that uh they show the value of like we're never giving up and that's very important for me is it fair for me to say that they had a really good spell early on in the game and then you scored yeah I think the the first half was like equal and uh then in the in the second half we started to control the game quite good so I think uh we had a lot of chance especially the the start of the second half and then there was the the goal from them for me out of nowhere I think we controlled the game quite good and then afterwards there was like a lot of transition moments for both teams I didn't like this losing the control we have to be honest there and then after their offside goal I think we started to control the game again and then we we pushed hard for for the second goal we were're better than the rest defense and in the end like like I said I think we deserve to win it was a correct decision wasn't it to rule out the offside call I didn't I didn't uh saw it or see it yet I will have a look but in the end that's why we have the V because exactly because of these situations of these decisions that um he controls every goal and uh in the end if it's correct we have to accept it and talk about jaia Pedro because for me at the start of the second half he seemed Freer to express himself and of course he got the goal I think J is is a player who can decide the game with one action but for me it was like today impressive how he works against the ball he was always there he was always supporting his teammates he was good in transition moments and and he had the believe that he will score and that's something what makes him special so I'm very happy for him but in the end it's always a team win and um that's the most important did Billy Gilmore show you as well today why he's so important for Brighton I know I know you want to keep him he I said it to him before the game he he doesn't have to has to prove anyone how how good he is or what his skill is because in the end I know what what he can what he can do I know what he is how he can help the team and I also see it every day in training that's why for me it was no surprise and two more signings today coming in do you know about those I think uh you will know it if uh these signings might be fixed but before they are not our players and I won't do any comment on this but what you can comment is about the start and the mood it's it's very upbeat isn't it's very positive of course it's positive but we know that we have a lot of things to improve because in the end in both games we had the the M momentum on on our side you have to work for the momentum and we did this in both games and that's why I'm happy for for the work etic and and attitude from the players but on the other side we also know I also know that uh we have to play better more consistent the 90 minutes we have to control more the game in both games and therefore I'm happy yes but on the other side I know that there's still a lot of work to do and we should focus on the process and not on the results well very Joao Pedro well done and uh a late late late late late winner yeah was a tough game against united we know they are a big team they have a good team but I think uh like the GAA saying the change room need to believe in yourself and I believe until the end and I could score were you surprised when the ball came into you at the far post there was not a Manchester United player there yeah we work a lot these balls to be ready for this moment and uh I was there and I could score the first half for you and the second half for you just explain was there a change yeah so first half I play like more on Midfield and in the second half when D he go out I play like a nine and the GAA always work with me in two position more because we never know when he needs me in in another position and I'm happy to score because strike was my first position and I'm always like to play like like n and as well as the go when you played in the nine what what what difficulties did that give to Manchester United yeah because I think because I'm not like a nine I'm more like a n and a half I move I run behind I come to defeat so I think this is make difficult for the Defenders and more easy for my team so yeah I was always Tred to do my best for my team and I I think in the end I like uh receive a gift what what is the new manager like to work under uh we work a lot and he tried to do a lot of movement and make itasy for us on the pitch and we try to do our best on the pitch and I think in the end if you do everything right we're going to win the games and the speculation about you the speculation about so many players at the moment do you have to put that to the back of your head um yeah I know everyone is about me about the other players but I think I have to to do my best for my team to focus on my my football to try to do my best on the pitch and let the people talk about me or the others 100% two wins in two top of the league can't be bad yeah I think we had a great start but you need to keep him going because it just the beginning of the season so yeah I need to work hard and continue win the games a special feeling and you can see with the celebrations at the end the adrenaline running through everybody it's a it's a great way to get three points and especially in your first home game of the season as well yeah exactly um we want to make this place a fortress so any team that comes here don't want to play here and uh we got that on the way um to get the three points today it's been a good start but we know it's also um really important to remain um remain level-headed you know never too high never too low and we go with it we're ready to go next week again a special day for you your Century goal you've got a 100 Club career goals now and against the club where it all started for you what does that mean yeah it's a it's bit it's a bit crazy how it swings around in circles and you know I wish I got to this uh this uh Century before a lot a lot quicker um obviously with injuries and stuff like that it's been really difficult but um I'm glad to still be feeling fit strong you know and still going and uh I'm looking forward to getting many more what a start to the season as well two games two goals not bad at 33 yeah 33 is a new 21 I guess um I'm feeling good I'm feeling fair strong um the the Gaff has coming with some new ideas and everybody's adapted well I think it's been a a tough preseason but one that's uh we went to Japan and then having to come back and then get into the swing things and back home but it's been a really good preseason and it's been a good start but as I said before we remain level-headed what is the new manager like what's he like to work under how different what are the things you like the most well obviously every every manager comes with new ideas um so there has there have been a lot of things that we've um we've maybe kept the same it's not been like too drastic of a change but there are a lot of um new ideas that he's brought to the team that uh we have to really get used to we're still getting used to it now um it's just a start uh it's been a great first impression and uh it's been obviously to get two wins in the first two games it's been great but now we have to work harder and uh go again next week there's obviously lots of new faces in this team as well and it looks like a team full of so much attacking threat so many different options what do you think you bring to the attack yeah um I think every single attacking players got their own um sort of ability that they can bring everyone special in their own way um we've got so much talent as you me mentioned and um it's it's going to be a a difficult difficult decision for the gaffa to make but it's a it's a healthy headache to have um to have the competition there everybody wanting to make an impact when they were on the pitch um in training every single day it's a great uh great headache for him to have and for me I know that I can bring a lot of experience and you know experience is invaluable and to being around different situations and been through them in my career so it's always good to have that uh that knowledge and you know to keep it with me on the pitch and off the pitch I know you've still got a good relationship with the Rio Ferdinand who's in our studio today he wanted to know at your age how's the limbs well the limbs are good the better than well when he was 33 the better than that I'll let
