Devin Invites Jenn Tran on a Special Run Club Date with Friends During Hometown in Houston

[Music] oh my God what today is my first Hometown and I'm in Houston Texas with Devon meeting his family is going to be big and huge and I'm excited about it Jen Dev dog I can't believe you're going to make me run for this you look fantastic seeing Devon just makes me feel so excited I've missed him on the first night if you told me Deon was getting a HomeTown in Houston Texas I probably would not have believed you but as the weeks have gone by Devon has really surprised me and he's been there for me and that's why he's here today is because I have very strong feelings for him you look great thanks you look good too and I'm so excited to see everything that Devon wants to show me today what were you stretching for just now uh well it's so fun because usually I don't know what the going on and it's my turn to get you on the surprise I've got a few surprises planned for Jen today I'm really excited to show her the city and show her you know the place that made me who I am you know I've got a lot of good friends here my family is all here so it's it's a very important place for me and I take the opinions of my family and the closest people around me seriously so if the people that I love here don't see what I see in Jen potentially it could change things for me definitely so I've told you a little bit about that room club that we we do yes yes I think we're going to get some meat if you oh really how often do you run with them every single Wednesday every Wednesday every Wednesday we're going to be getting active so I hope you stretch I did should we stretch right now show me your stretch now here they come that a lot what's up guys hello going on brother look at these good to see you guys everyone you good guys run Club is something that one of my closest friends started honestly it was a Saving Grace for me because I've never been a runner in my life and I was going through a funk and with the help of my buddies they picked me up and introduced me to running that created a new outlet for me you know now it's one of my favorite hobbies to do I I do it every single day when I'm back here so I'm glad that Jen gets to see that I didn't know you were so popular some of them like me some you guys call him Pete Davidson too or is that just a little bit yeah oh man but yeah so I've got a few things in store for us today a few surprises along the way uh with the people that I love the most and I think we'll let Rody take it away from here yeah we actually do have two shirts for y'all right now so we're going to go on a little L run in a second I want Jen to mesh well with my friends you know I want her to like my family because those aren't people that are going to go away and uh this is something that I'm really looking forward to we're to get after it I'm going to beat Devin oh all right guys so we're going to start our run we're going to go around this way and to stay on the concrete path and just follow me so we'll go do it one M loop around let's go I'm so excited running is right up my alley so Devin and I are going to have a really good time today yeah we're on the love run guys love run love Run is it a love run or is it a love Marathon we're going to do a love run today or is it a love Sprint do you think love is a Sprint or a marathon love is a relay race apparently oh for you we could skip down get a little and this [Music] place how's my running form it looks good really it's kind of a turn oh Dam it running through Houston with my run Club in Jen it's probably the best feeling I've ever had it's amazing and I just feel nothing but pure Bliss in this moment it's an almost a real experience in my [Music] opinion running like soak it in soak it up Devin bringing this run Club to me and telling me that these other people that are some of the most important people to his life like I cannot be more grateful and honored and excited being here and knowing how much I love to run I definitely can see myself fitting into Devon's life here in Houston what's the sweetest thing he's done for you so far I think we all would love to know that honestly he's been really good at like just understanding me and like when I'm having a bad day he's just there for me which is hard to find yeah what's your favorite trait of her like overall she accepts me for who I am 100% where in a lot of my aspects of my life I've had to like sacrifice certain parts of myself to like make work and with her it's not the case I just accept you for who you are yes she loves me well Jenna is making a great impression on my friends and that is something I love you know and especially when my friends are involved I want her to feel comfortable in those scenarios and she showed me she's more than comfortable bye guys and for her to seamlessly fit into my group makes me feel great I have one more surprise for you this is my one woman that you cannot ever get jealous of okay she's very special to me and I can't wait for you to meet her okay Charlie Charlie go see hi baby girl hi baby there's another woman in Devon's life that he loves maybe more than me and it's his [Music] dog I love her little run she's fast she is fast good girl good girl oh good baby it's hot to see what a great girl dad Devon is to his dog Charlie he loves her and it's it's it's hot what' you think of everybody um I loved them they're all so nice it's just been a it's been a great day for me yeah yeah what are you thinking for tonight you nervous no are you a little bit why are you nervous you know I haven't done this in so long like they said College you know yeah so get it well I haven't introduced any to my family ever so I I I get like your anxiety around it all is there anything that you want to know about them before we go is there anything I should know my dad is going to be there okay and um he is the person that has popped in and out of my life when I was a a lot younger um we definitely had our problems but despite what I've gone through with my father in my life I couldn't get married or get engaged without his opinion absolutely in my history of like my family like relationships they never lasted um up until my mom recently you know for me it's like I want to do right by my family by bringing home the right one you know and that's just you know me and my fears you know I have such a good feeling about you I just want it to be that way you know like I want it to be the right one and I want them to see that on my face that's that's coming from that's an important step for me yeah my family hasn't had the easiest time in relationships and I don't want to be another one of those pieces of that puzzle my biggest fear for denight is probably for my family did not accept Jen you know I don't want them to see some external thing that I don't see and then point it out and it become like the biggest thing about gen andiz relationship it would throw a wrench into everything there's a lot of things I need to figure out today so we'll see what happens
