MH you can you can really see what kind of team guy uh Dak is well as well rear now flushed out and has Drummond first down little scramble drill there little bit great your pass mistakes picking up your over your workouts and just because you're a first round pick doesn't mean that you're just going to come in and start balling out right off the bat they're giving him a lot of reps in the preseason he's played through the fourth quarter he's going to have a lot of opportunities to continue to try to find his way into this defense Aiden oconnell Cowboys I say Raiders here with third and Eric Scott defending on Christian Wilkerson Cowboys have led the league in takeaways the last with what he has the depth that he has in that secondary especially at the safety position third and 20 at uh depleted linebacking core Daniel Carlson a 44 yd field goal attempt and it is good as the Raiders Christian what have you seen so far out of this defense this defense is doing a great job and I think they're trying to play that bin but don't break type of Defense you know a couple penalties uh here and there obviously by the opposing team that put them in some favorable positions but I'm really impressed by the cornerbacks Josh Butler Eric Scott Jr uh even Kelvin Joseph all those guys have made some really good plays uh to put their defense in a good position held him to three right there I think Dan Quinn would be happy with that Jaylen Moreno Cropper the Deep man for the Cowboys think during the regular season probably the running backs will share the load back there but Cropper getting an opportunity tonight but not there as his kick through the end zone you know one of the great things that happened for Dak Prescott at the end of last season it was a super at a very high level but also off the field Will Greer rolling right and that's Shan mccuan and so during the season you will notice Dak when he's in uniform he'll have that it's been his motivation throughout his career he went back 10 years ago and she passed away Simi F hoko the reception there but a journey I'd love watching him call plays tonight it just see we get an opportunity to see his that competitive uh competitiveness that he has on the sideline he is on his toes on every play going heavy heavy to the right with the three tight ends and it's lipy yeah there you go straight ahead spots at running back on this final roster yeah it's definitely going to be a a toss up for a last minute decision here you obviously you know you have to get some carries here in this game no power right with Malik Davis Davis of course in his second year out of Florida undrafted a year ago and Deuce and then we see what happens from there from the 41 Greer going up top deep down the left side looking for Cropper but not there and working on aiek Robertson a veteran slot Corner who started seven games last year for the Raiders a good test for him Greer bright side Simi foko to the 25 yd line working on Duke Shelly I no be a fullback as well in this offense re hoko right near the first down marker Sim simy is up here the Cowboys Ring of Honor they did it in a very special way second and short Will Greer to Hunter lipy the diving catch and yes it is a catch inside the 10 yd line first and goal rolling right Greer and run out of bounds you that Demarcus where the the uh announcement this week was really terrific on stage and informed Demarcus that you are going into the Ring of Honor it was really sweet and it will happen this season here at AT&T Stadium in 23rd though you can do it yes sir I'm afraid that you're going to be the playby play guy M McCarthy is doing a good job of putting everybody in just different you know positions so it's been great for though you know I would say Dak Prescott's doing a good job of putting guys in different positions with his play calling tonight what do you think of him he talks about you know stuff outside of football life but when we get into the room he's locked in you know he he's one of those guys that literally leaves his phone at the door before whoever lines up in front of us it don't matter um but n it's it's definitely fun though every time we come back on the sideline during practice whatever we're just talking last year he really came into his own in this league yeah I mean definitely last year uh you know I was I was dying a little bit um Noah Brown you know he just he just pick up the slap from everybody but CD is just a smart player running game obviously having Tony per back as the lead man in the back field what is you guys' approach as that three-headed monster in in your engagement in the running game I man every time we go out there and it's a run play Draw Play it really doesn't even matter cuz we know we got CL injury oh no it's it's got to be a big year for him got to be a big year um you know last year it was just kind of you know get back in the groove with things but stronger I feel a whole lot better um here we go we got a little touchdown right here but wasn't that [Applause] kind and the extra point by Carlson is good as the Raiders cut into the Gap Damen Williams a lot of decisions to be made in the next three days Carlson drives it deep into the end zone and on through the end zone Cowboys will take over all three of those receivers had over 40 catches in a season thing is it's a different era in the NFL these days and so the numbers are just greater for wide receivers now deep down to Dennis Houston goes incomplete and let's go [Applause] down stepping up is Greer now he's going to run it got the block from Dennis Houston out there and Greer musling his way forward how about that isn't going back back to his high school days in North Carolina they dump off to Malik Davis and near the first down marker you know back in high school he was the national Player of the Year holding offense number 67 it's a 10yd penalty first down coached by his dad Chad probably but Greer comes from some good stead there in North Carolina out to Malik d and not much there he has speed he just comes down to decisionmaking for him and if he can figure that aspect out he'll be a very valuable quarterback in this league draw play Malik Davis and there's a late flag right up near the original line of scrimmage the 43 holding offense number 84 that's a 10yd penalty second down that's on Shan McKuen is with this 14-10 lead facing a second and 25 what does Dak have in his bag from tomorrow and two weeks from Tomorrow the metal lands Cowboys play at the Giants to kick off the season two minutes to go here in the first half will career facing a second and 25 dumps it off to Hunter lipy got some of that back going out there using those skills get the first down into the Raiders into the field and now to the amazing Beast Down the sideline Hunter liy down to the 15 let's go hunter lipkey great decision by Will Greer finding his Outlet in hunter lipkey gets him the ball gets the yardage you can and now they're back on the ball trying to get the snap off 29 yard hard pickup under one minute to play now back to lipkey again and lipkey all alone into the end [Applause] zone you get a lipy I get a li key everybody gets a li key great play call rumbling stumbling but not fumbling into the end zone and Brendon Aubrey with the point after Hunter lipy at North Dakota state had 24 touchdowns rushing the football he had nine Hunter liy and he's seeing it tonight and Aubrey once again through the end zone and how about this Hunter lipy Aiden oconnell with time as a man and that's Wilkerson up past the 40 yd line speaking of Michael Parsons though I mean this guy has been so dominant throughout training camp it was almost as spectacular as well during C everybody knows how important Michael Parsons is to this defense and this entire Team 13 and a half sacks 13 hurries [Applause] for Aiden oconnell throws it away talked about Isaiah L there he was in the backfield again put some pressure on the quarterback probably for in the throw L early seven years ago once again out of bounds 4 seconds left 62 yards Daniel Carlson as the distance and it is good back driven League uh you know and I talk every year coach McCarthy's always pushing Jerry and I to take a quarterback each year and uh what ends up happening is by the time the fourth third fourth round rolls around only really played one year in college and then uh turned around there and of course was hurt most of last year with a similar type ankle did all our research of course we had all first and second round type grades uh on Trey and uh a guy who's just you know has a lot of qualities as you said uh to Dak in terms of his athletic ability arm strength thought he better watch out they're putting their replacement right out there in front of them D do one heck of a job out there and I know he's rooting for will too and what uh being at the top of the list what he's done for that wide receiver room from a leadership standpoint and then his on the field skills is uh you know just strong so that's fantastic I I heard some of your numbers in terms of what the three guys did when Amari and when it was Amari and him and CD so and and he could have a very special year in terms of what he can do for this not to mention the fact that he's surrounded by a lot of really good football players great depth and uh you know I think Operating Officer as Daniel Carlson is on for the 50y field goal attempt nailed a 62 y earlier and that one for how it plays out with the ability to fair catch kickoffs but we had no opportunity tonight to see any of that stuff Cowboys working Zack Martin ramping him back up at Right Guard over the middle Greer with a completion Tyron Billy Johnson at Oklahoma State he'll set down there former Raider now finish the game continue to dominate at the line of scrimmage and come out of this one with a win all right thanks Haley Malik Davis hit hard as he gets a couple up the middle Cowboys first two preseason games we saw a lot Rico D and de V justify his roster spot second and eight and there he goes oh the 32 first down career has his man that's 70% completion guy at West Virginia in college what close downfield as well in trouble here and gets it off the lipy with the left hand Will Greer yes representing the number well there you go the more conventional way short completion Princeton Fant and this West Coast office is predicated on short High Precision passes and you're starting to see addition for us you've talked so highly over the last year about Terence steel and what he's able to do on the field to see him back in the fold after that ACL injury uh attacking that rehab how special been long for these guys and uh you know we're just excited to get out there as a football team and show everyone what we can do we are excited offensive line coach and special teams coach brought down years old out of West mosquite High School in Michigan State Josh Butler a rookie in the NFL but making an impression where through three Aiden o Connell has gone all the way at quarterback Under Pressure finds Philip Dorset and stops short at the 10 yd line Kelvin Joseph R him out of bounds like to hear that number and that backfield fires incomplete and the Cowboys defense holds M done all the way at quarterback for the Cowboys worst field position of the night to start a drive at the 10yd line but hunter lii will take care of that get it out to the 14 yd line Second and six how about what Will Greer has done tonight finds out yesterday that basically Will Greer has done a terrific job showcasing his abilities for other teams around the league and Bronco nersi up the middle for 18 to the four to the 18 four more yards and and expelling upon what you were just saying about will gri definitely making the most of it here third and three at the 18 and right at the sticks the completion to Cropper [Applause] play fake lots of time open receiver Tyron Billy Johnson out of new orans Oklahoma State fourth year in the league and he's opening some eyes pass goes incomplete the pressure with bad footwork and that's elicit why he had a bad throw toss right and nothing there how much of an adjustment is it for a quarterback making the adjustment to the West Johnson they've been two for two on Fourth Downs fourth and a longer one this time and once again Malik Davis and fighting for the extra yard in a second effort looks like it got him there looks what he's seen out of this offensive line tonight it's had three three games together now that makes a difference for an offensive line too Cowboys lost Josh ball earlier tonight at the game Trumble snap this time and now out to just sit on [Applause] it they just it just makes the play caller be a little more creative and coming up things were going too smoothly for the play caller [Music] [Applause] DS it off to Davis there's a flag [Music] down and here early in the fourth quarter the NFL is experimenting with the or giving the officials an opportunity to work with a six-man crew so the referee has stepped aside for the first series for each team in the fourth quarter just to go through the mechanics in case in a regular season game that uh an official would go down with an injury so the official that stepped in and is not microphone third and 24 there's Scott Novak on the side 5yd [Applause] walkoff and Jose Barb bone to the 40 yd missed wide left not by much earlier this time has Novak up be physical to keep these offenses that b what a trio of safeties Dan Quinn has in jron Cur Donovan Wilson and Malik hooker or rather Josh Butler defending over there there he is number 43 honter lipy Cowboys take over with less than three minutes to play and running it up the middle and the milk that clock put the play sheet away he will try to influence Mike McCarthy with the play calling as much as possible two weeks from tomorrow night at the metal ends against the New York Giants but been a good exercise I think for him find out where Will Greer winds up lipy not much there that'll take us down to the two-minute warning Cowboys nursing a 31 for Dak Prescott and a great night on the field for Will Greer as he auditions for other teams and it'll be an interesting next three days for so many players on this field on both sides and all across the league some 1184 players will be look looking for work come Tuesday at 3:00 that's the cut down day and it's a long
