From the first time a student joins us on campus, the Phins Hospitality team is here
to make sure that every student is successful. Just being able to come in here, no matter what you're interested in eating,
you can find something, and there's variety, and that keeps, I think, students
engaged at a different level. This is a nice place. You can go around, hang out with your friends. When I come in the dining hall, I immediately run to the
ready made pasta. It's always fresh. There's so many different varieties of pizza that they have. We're very proud of our local partnerships. Here at Le Moyne, we source all of our local greens from Russo's
Produce Company here in Syracuse, New York. So when you come in, there are many different stations that you
can have. There's salad bar with the freshest of greens. Global kitchen. Every day, something
different. Every day, different pastas. There's many ingredients that you can throw in there, two
different sauces. It's cooking up the good stuff Here at Phin's Hospitality is very important for us to make sure
students are happy and healthy. We're a small knit community, so the more involved you are, the more
people you're gonna know. And it's funny to see some of those connections carry over
to either the dining hall or the Dolphin Den, where you see people getting together,
whether for lunch or dinner or coffee. I'm always busy on the college campus, so I think when
I have those opportunities where I can just go in corner and eat my
food in peace. Listen to music. Here at Phin's Hospitality, we use a Babylon micro farm.
We grow herbs and micro greens, and the chefs can harvest those to put
in the recipes we serve our students. Meal plans are really easy. You can get 6, 12, or 16, and then
unlimited swipes, and then you're also able to go up certain tiers about depending on
how much Splash Cash you get. True Balance has good variety. It makes sure it's catered exactly towards people with restrictions, Students who have food allergies or other dietary modifications
don't need to worry. Our True Balance station cooks without any of the big nine food
allergens, then they don't use gluten either. A lot of students have different allergies and have very specific
dietary needs, so we work with them and we connect them with the folks over here to make
sure that any of their concerns are answered and dealt with. And it gives parents the great
feeling that their students are going to be safe. The Phin's Hospitality staff just wonderful folks to
work with a true partnership, and they are available to help us out in
many aspects. And so they're working with students directly. If the student is having
a concern with a particular meal option, they can go to one of our Phin's Hospitality
folks, and they're gonna help them out. I love the dining staff. I love seeing their faces every day, hearing
them talk if you're having a rough day, too, they can always find a way to cheer you up.
Kitchen 101, is really cool. And they kind of show you lots of stuff about like,
how you can prepare certain meals, kind of like meals that are, you
know, unique to a certain culture. I use the Grub Hub to grab lunch, and I'm able to
visit with different people on campus. Students can bring family recipes in and work
with the chefs here to develop that and being able to have a taste of
home here when they're away at campus. So we're here at Simon's pub. One of our partnerships we have is with Meiers Creek
brewery. They are a local alumni. They were able to collaborate with some students and professors
here at Le Moyne to come up with Dolphy Day IPA. if a student needs me, they can scan the QR
code and you can email me. Follow the Instagram. Follow the Instagram.
