Eagles Offical 53 Man Roster for the 2024 season…Are The Eagles Really Keeping James Bradberry ???

53 man roster today let's get into it man a lot of interesting names on the 53 man this year um we're GNA jump we're just going to jump straight into it man uh I want to start off with the with the quarterbacks I guess I don't want to waste too much time um quarterbacks Jaylen Herz made the team crazy right it's like nah uh Kenny picket the backup and Tanner mcke has the third string so the Eagles are keeping three quarterbacks this year on the active roster and I believe that every team gets an emergency quarterback as well um next uh position running back saquon Barkley uh Kenneth gainwell and will Shipley no surprises here the only thing that I'm surprised about is that the Eagles are keeping just three running backs on the active roster this year as opposed to keeping four the year before but I think this is a good move though because the Eagles like to run a running back by committee anyways uh so this would keep the uh running backs fresh and keep them rotating in and out um I would love to see somebody get stashed on the practice squad which I'm pretty sure they're going to do so that's good to see uh next position I want to talk about is the uh wide receiver position uh AJ Brown Devonte Smith and Jan doson there there go your three-headed monster right there no surprises there they made the team Britton cvy and Johnny Wilson get those last two receiver spots the Eagles are only keeping five wide receivers this year I definitely expect that to change but we'll see what happens uh one of the uh positions of concern for me is tight end right now the Philadelphia Eagles are keeping just two tight ends on the active roster and my only problem with this is you're keeping two injury-prone tight ends on the active roster although they're both very talented players they are they're both very very injury prone I'm not really sure if Dallas Godard is even going to start the season cuz he is dealing with an oblique injury at the moment which could take days to weeks to heal so we'll just have to wait and see how that shapes up uh Grant calcatera however uh he's a very talented tight end like I said but guy has had a history of concussions and of a history of other injuries uh hopefully the Eagles bring Jack stall and them boys back man you know EJ Jenkins as well um Jordan Milada uh Landon Dickerson these are the old line the old lineman that made the team this year uh matada Dickerson Jurgens McKai beckon Lane Johnson Tyler Steen Trevor Keegan had a really good preseason and he's had a really good camp the rookie made the uh the the roster which is good to see Fred Johnson and Darien Canard also made the team as well Canard has had a strong Camp as well um now let's get on defense defense um now uh defensive tackle you got Jordan Davis um Jaylen Carter Milton Williams Marlon tuy palu moral Jomo and Thomas Booker now Thomas Booker he had a very solid preseason but I definitely was not expecting him to make the team but he has been playing very very well but we'll just have to see how that goes but as of right now they are currently six defensive tackles on the Eagles active roster wow um now let's get to the edge you got Bryce Huff Josh SWAT uh Brandon Graham no Nolan Smith jayx hunt and Patrick Johnson all right uh sounds pretty sounds sounds you know sounds pretty sounds about right uh linebacker now you got Devin white uh ncoe Dean Zach Bon Zack Boon or however the you say this dude's name uh Jeremiah Trower Jr Ben van summeran has had a strong Camp getting better and better and better and better every snap he takes so I love that he's on the team right now he's going to be a very good special team Ace for us this year too I can see it already and barring any injuries or anything like that I expect B van summering to be a good replacement uh cornerbacks now this is the most this is a very interesting position position the Eagles keep Darius Slay quinan Mitchell key Rango uh Cooper dein Isaiah Rogers will probably be taking that number two outside spot across from uh Darius SLE Eli Ricks and Avante Maddox made the team I'm very shocked to see Avante Maddox back with the Philadelphia Eagles but the Eagles are currently keeping six cornerbacks on the active roster at the moment now let's transition over to safety you got Chanty Gardner Johnson Reed blankin ship James Bradberry and a surprising make Tristan McCullum now the my whole thing with James Bradberry is bro we all know James Bradberry sucks at cornerback out of nowhere I I I just don't know what happened to him you know during the Super Bowl run James Bradberry was very effective but it just seemed to me like ever since that Super Bowl play where he was holding Juju Smith Schuster and they cost us the the Super Bowl he hasn't been the same player since man um he didn't have a really good camp I haven't he he didn't make any noise in preseason in fact I thought he didn't I thought he played really really bad in preseason whiffing on tackles getting burned in coverage same old same old James Bradberry now the Philadelphia Eagles did try to trade him to the uh Tennessee Titans because dard Wilson is over there and he dard Wilson was once our defensive backs coach and thinks very very highly of James Bradberry that James bradberry's best season was under donard Wilson you know what I'm saying so that makes a lot of sense but the only problem is um other teams view James Bradberry as a safety now and he's he's literally in the middle of a transition from corner to safety and he hasn't been playing good at safety so it's very it's a very risky trade for any team you know what I'm saying it's like $4 million against the cap for the Eagles right now I'm not really sure how his salary is it shapes up to be honest with you but I'm not going to lie to you bro I don't think James Bradberry has earned a roster spot at all I mean I heard Nick serani and them boys talking about they need a veteran they need a veteran uh uh what's his name Vic fangio was talking very highly about James Bradberry but I think he's just trying to Hype him up I don't think James Bradberry is any good anymore and I don't think he has any use on our roster you know what I'm saying I would have love to see another young guy get an opportunity man but you know what it is what it is hopefully that the hopefully the Eagles trade James Bradberry before the start of the Season I'm I'm hoping for he does not need to be on this team James Bradberry has officially overstay his welcome I'm going just leave it at that get the out of Philly man we do not need your burnt to ass playing defense for the Philadelphia Eagles bro I'm sorry now uh your specialist you got Jake Elliott the kicker you got uh bra Braden man he had a really good season last year in my opinion and you got Rick levado The Long Snapper now the practice squad is very very interesting I want to jump into it real quick like I said before Dylan McDonald obviously on the team this very smart move can play guard and and I just think that he's still a rookie and he has a lot to learn give him some time he may come around Orin Orin Burks uh he was injured majority of the uh training camp very a veteran guy linebacker on the practice squad uh Paris Campbell Paris Campbell was a receiver that didn't make the the Eagles active roster and and I think it's because of the Jan doson trade I think the Jan doson trade really complicated things for everybody that wanted to make the team as like the fifth or sixth receiver you know what I'm saying but at the same time Jan dson is way better than Paris Campbell so it makes sense that Paris Campbell didn't make the team and he was hurt literally the entire camp and he came I mean he played like the third preseason game but that's not saying much so I'm not surprised that Paris Campbell got cut um John Ross I'm surprised John Ross didn't even didn't make the practice squad you know what I'm saying because of his speed I I really thought that the Eagles could use him on special teams but who gives a I guess um Paris Campbell like I said Paris Campbell's on the squad on the practice squad Tyron Davis price uh also on the practice squad which is good because that's the running back that I was hoping if the Eagles would have kept four running backs he would have been the guy to get that fourth spot but I guess him being the fourth string on the practice Squad is cool too you just bring them up whenever you need him that I'm cool with that because literally we had four running backs on the roster last year I think the fourth running back was Rashad Penny and he barely played he barely got any touches so I'm cool with uh Davis price starting the season off on the practice squad uh Nick Gates uh former center for the Giants is also on the practice squad will gre's bum ass is on the practice squad I would have liked for him to for his ass to just get cut completely and then to start looking into a new quarterback but whatever Gabe Hall EJ Jenkins my dog on the practice squad as well which is good to see cuz you know them injury-prone at tight end man you never know when you're going to need EJ and Jack star is also on the uh practice squad as well so that's good to see too cuz he I know he signed with the Giants over the training camp but I guess he didn't make the team so he's back in Philly so that's good uh Marcus uh Rose me uh Jack Saint I have never heard of this dude day in my life but he's on the he's on the uh practice squad I don't see Joseph Nagata I think he's injured right now so is anas Smith is on IR so that's good to see Andre Sam a former LSU safety is also on the practice squad uh Brandon Smith a linebacker also on the practice squad Kaden Sterns a guy that we trade I think we picked him up from the Broncos if I'm not mistaken now he's on the practice squad Jack stall of course and I don't know how to say that name or old lineman he's on the practice squad so there you have it folks your 2024 uh Philadelphia Eagles roster um we have a game against the uh the Green Bay Packers on the six which I'll probably definitely do a preview video about that I'll keep you guys posted on that very excited for the season the team looks loaded the team looks good um the secondary looks very very versatile uh like I said I still want to see James Bradberry get the on but if you're looking at this this this uh this defensive back group you got Cooper dein that can play safety slot outside corner you got um Avante Maddox that can play slot safety so you have you have chony that can play slot and safety so you have a lot of guys that can move around if injuries ever occur you you got you can bring guys down move guys up however way you want to put it it's a very very nice blend of you know versatility in that in that room right there uh The Edge is is still a little concerning to me you know what I'm saying because Nolan Smith didn't have a really good camp so I I'm interested to see how the edge is able to get pressure on quarterbacks this year I mean we got like the like we're going to be put to the test early you know I mean because you got you got Jordan love in Brazil first first week of the Season Okay so hopefully the Eagles figure out a way to get pressure on the quarterbacks this year man because the year before we started off the season very very good and then towards the end we couldn't even sniff the quarterback you know what I'm saying I do not want to see that again okay um but that's pretty much
