I Do Love Hornsea! Even When Things Don't Go Exactly To Plan | Yorkshire Days Out

you will not believe this cheers oh my gosh oh my gosh oh my go 100% if you're in the area have to come here gorgeous hello so I have just finished work and I was thinking do you know what I need to let my hair down I'm going to enjoy myself tonight so we're going to go for some food and we're going to go for a few drinks and we're just going to enjoy a casual Sunday evening around and about horn SE yes horn SE again it is as I said before one of my favorite places so that's where we're heading but we're going to stop off on the way at a place called Heron Lakes and Heron Lakes is a lodge Park is very very close to Horn SE and basically they've got loads of gorgeous lodges on some lakes and they have a cafe there so we're going to hopefully take up and hope that they're not fully booked because I am very very [Music] peckish oh here we are gorgeous glass of wine and the most amazing view behind me I am so happy it is gorgeous out here I've always wanted to sit in the garden here obviously for the amazing views and it's our lucky day we've ordered a pizza some chips to share and a couple of drinks very very tranquil and relaxing [Music] here ooh so we went for the pruto fungi we got some lovely ham and mushrooms on there look at the sun capturing it oh it is such a gorgeous day today and then we just went for a little side portion of chips as well they bringing us some condiments Alex went in earlier he's been pinching the chips are they nice chips yeah good chips skin on fries try some [Music] pizza oh well that was all lovely nice and tasty we've just had a look at one of The Lodges that's for sale there it is it's like a show home that you can go and look at oh my goodness I think I've found my new dream it is beautiful they had gorgeous big kitchen like all open planned with really nice big fireplace and sitting area and it overlooks the lake it is something to dream of I suppose and hopefully achieve one day any anyway we are on our way to haunting now we're going to have a little peep at the beach before we go for a drink at the bar we're going to go to our usual for a cup of tea and [Music] coffee you just can't beat it can you walk along the seafront cup of tea it's just fantastic as we were driving here we drove through the center and it was so busy and they had music on in the PS they had a lady and a gent with a saxophone it just looks so much fun and I was like oh my gosh is it's Sunday have I got my days wrong but then I remembered it's school holidays so y the place is jumping lots of entertainment on in the bars and things normally I'd be sat down there looking out to see but I've unfortunately got my work shoes on and if I get sing these I won't be able to wear them tomorrow so we're going to just sit along this bit along the wall and look out to see it's almost as good okay it's time to wave goodbye to the Sea now no we've come to the bar that I wanted to bring you to and it's closed it closes at 6:00 on a Sunday I am so sad change of plan I'm going to go home have an early night and then tomorrow after work I'm going to go come back and we're going to go to the bar and have a great time okay it's a brand new day I can finally take you to the bar that I've been dying to show you and we may go for tea afterwards ta this is Rage Quit it's a retro gaming Cafe Bar so you can have coffee you can have cocktails you can have all sorts and you also get to play on the Retro games I love it here let's go inside okay we're inside I love it here there's just loads of different video games set up there's all different ones before when we came we played crash bandue and it was so so fun it was the original one and then they've got Sonic here which I didn't see before and it's an updated version so really good graphics I've ordered some drinks as well so like I said they do po they do game theme Cocktails so I got an Aku auu which is inspired by frash Band CP it's so much fun they got so many different setups it's brilliant here they are akaku I got two cuz it's two for 12 P to barking let's give it a go that is my kind of dream wee okay oops well I got one ring oh my gosh oh my gosh oh my gosh well I am awful at this let's see how Alex gets on wow did you know how to do that uhoh oh my gosh you're a pro are you really working whilst I'm at work or are you playing video games let's have a look at some other games that they've got here I think having that many muscles must be detrimental you won't be able to move so quick would you just look well that was so so much fun I'm getting a bit peckish now we're going to go and grab some food from another bar come on then time to give five more minutes okay we've now come to the green I am super duper hungry so I can't wait to see what they have on the menu and they also do some fantastic cocktails apparently so this is going to be so much fun oh they do some yummy stuff I think we're going to go for the bar snacks though you buy three and get the creus free and to drink I know it's a bit naughty but it is such a beautiful day today I'm going to get a panina colada feel like I'm on my holidays you will not believe this the kitchen closed early so what time is it now so at 20 7 oh kitchen was closed I'm so sad I really did fancy those nibbly bits but all is not lost I've booked as a table so I rang somewhere that we've been many a Time tried and tested favorite of mine and Alex's Alex took me for my 21st birthday and Valentine's Day and we love it so we are going to head now to Brans bton and we're going to go to BTS BTS Pizzeria let me take you to a wonderful place hopefully this won't be closed so we've been driving for about 10 minutes now so it's really not that far away from horn SE if you are visiting horn SE and if you live in Horn SE you already probably know about this place it is brilliant it's right next to a lodge Caravan and glamping Park maybe a camping park as well Daya Lakeside [Music] Park wow does it get much better than this um I do appreciate that both places were eaten in the last 48 hours has been a very tranquil Lakeside place and Italian I think it's just cuz it's so perfect this time of year isn't it when the sun's out or setting beautifully which is the case this evening I am having such a hard time deciding cuz everything sounds delicious they've got homemade pastas the Alfredo sounds good T telli chicken breast Panetta and mushrooms in a garlic white wine pesto and cream sauce they've got some delicious burgers wo bit windy some amazing sounding pizzas but I did have pizza yesterday and they got some gorgeous stars as well we've ordered our drinks already look at this halumi and strawberry salad that's unusual isn't it I've not heard of that before and the sides as well oh it's all just too tempting okay I can't resist it sounds too good tomato mozzarella mushrooms red onions Olive and some blush tomatoes on a pizza look the dough is made in house oh yeah that's going to be delicious and Alex is going to go for the BTS bir so beef bager melted cheese strey bacon Co Sal caramelized onion and you can even upgrade your fries look truffle and Parmesan fries for an extra pound ooh that sounds so good look at this so this is the mocktail that they do here I love the glass it's got all fruits and citrusy things on there in fact it's a j2o glass that's funny Chin Chin ooh that's really lovely it's so nice [Music] nice wow look at that oh my gosh there's a bee in the burn does it sound for burn didn't like my humor there did you I think it stands for birs but look how gorgeous oh pretzel bun as well I love it sorry to Pokey dinner but and then these are the Truffle and cheese fries just oh get a bit of cheese there I'm GNA pinch them oh that is so so good we should have truffle oil and everything mhm and this is my pizza look at this oh my goodness that is top quality dough there isn't it okay going to try some best start to a weekend ever mhm cannot fault this in the slightest it is exceptional 100% if you're in the area have to come here gorgeous Fantastic Burger I'm going to have a bite okay well wasn't that an exciting couple of days I'm back back home now in case you couldn't tell so my camera died just after that Burger it was such a good burger though so thick juicy probably one of the best beggers I've ever had it was so good so I'm so glad in the end that I got to take you to three wonderful places in and around hauny rage quck fabulous honestly if you enjoy gaming they do board games as well so it is pretty much suitable for everybody teas coffees cakes cocktails beers the owners are so so lovely as well so definitely recommend that like I said the perfect way to start weekend so thank you so much for coming along
