all right man so with the 53 man roster officially out and we got a full list of practice squad guys that we brought back man we're about to get into it all right I'm Wesley you're watching beast on Broad Street rep from a place that's never been on Earth how much is your soul tell me what it's worth do put your pride on money first are you having a good day cuzz I'm having a good day I'm having an all right day all right Sun shineing man the Phil's won like four four in a row now how can I be mad man that was it's been nice man we shut out the Astros last night unfortunately fortunately got Taiwan Walker on the mountain tonight so I don't know if we're going to get that sweep but hey my hopes are up feeling good and in case you haven't already seen the list man we got the Eagles official SL unofficial 53 man roster the reason I say unofficial is because let's be honest man you know they're going to elevate some of these guys like are off the practice squad so what I want to do is I'm going to go through the 53 man roster list you know talk about you know who a surpris like that who made it who who will be surprised that got cut um but also a lot of guys got brought back on the practice squad who again potentially could be elevated come week one so that's why I say it's official SL unofficial because I don't know if it's set stone right now um anyways let's get into it all right all right of course we got to start off with the quarterback position no surprises here obviously right um we have Jaylen Herz Kenny picket Tanner mcke all right now I everything in my bones I got my list right here everything in my bones want me to put Herz mck pick it I almost wrote small hands instead but I don't want to keep disrespecting Kenny I don't don't hate Kenny pick as a person all right he just FR he just frustrates me okay just frustrates me all right so I'm going to try and chill on my Kenny picket slender all right cuz gol a bit you know knock on wood like he ever has to step in we got no choice but to ride for buddy so and he's a bird now so again got to ride for buddy so that's kind of where we are with the quarterback position not really going to get that in depth cuz we kind of already know what the it is there um running back same thing now I was kind of surprised um actually with not surprised but I I I I kind of expected them to have like four running backs on the roster but I get it it's kind of a this was probably weird like cuz I didn't do the roster prediction so like I didn't really like go through to see who was going to make so I'm sure it was there's it was kind of tough to I don't know fit four running backs on your roster this season but um we got saquon Barkley obviously Kenny G well who I think is a solid running back too so cannot be mad with this running back group also will Shipley um now will Shipley he has potential to be running back too if he you know like it's just a matter you know of getting um well regular season snaps and getting some actual you know meaningful reps under his belt that's not preseason reps right so we'll see we'll see what unfolds throughout the season um as far as you know running back two and how that all you know translates but that's something that I don't know like I like will Shipley don't get me wrong room for him but I'm not I'm absolutely fine with Kenny gainwell at running back two cool with it this isn't a depth chart but I let's be real man Kenny gainwell is going to be a running back too all right um I like will Shi because he can catch ball out of the back field and on top of that he runs hard I like how he runs good downhill Runner um but we'll see man of course you got to be able to pass block all those little things makes a difference moving on though cuz can't spend too much time on running back because again we already know what's going on there let's move on to receiver all right so right now we have five receivers on our official roster okay obviously AJ Brown obviously Devonte Smith so we all know we got J doson who's most likely going to be our wide receiver three excuse me um we have BR cvy Johnny Wilson all right at first I was like like I was a little confused on you know just having five receivers on the roster but like like don't get me wrong I like I love bring we got to keep C we got we have to keep covery just for special teams purposes he's got to be he's going to be our punt returner and you know like he and on top of that he did show some promise that he can be implicated into this offense um Johnny Wilson now this is interesting because we don't I mean yeah he's a receiver I I don't we like and I've heard this like you know just floating around but I just I do have a weird feeling they are going to try Johnny Wilson at tight end now what you know my question was like well why wouldn't they that during preseason right or throughout training camp like why would they try and fit him in that I just think I just think they already know maybe they don't want to show their hand um I just I don't know man I just have a feeling they're going to they're going to see if they can line him up in that position just because he does all the you know he's a he's a grinder he's a physical guy we saw that he could he could block right um whether or not he can block as a tight end you know he could chck somebody like let's be real man you don't want him oneon-one with the NFL like you know someone's any NFL defensive end you don't want to one-on-one with but like you know he could chip somebody if it's a run play to his side you know he could pull he can get a body on on one of these DBS man let's be real so I just wouldn't be surprised cuz then we move on as we move again because they're keeping five wide receivers so as we move on to tight end they keep two tight ends on the roster as of right now okay so as of now because we're going to get into the practice squad don't worry I'm aware of who we signed today we got 14 guys on the practice squad and we got guys um uh on the inactive on the pup list so so and also before we move on so an ni Smith pess okay so if you're you know maybe you don't follow as you know if you're not closely following everything say an ni Smith was put on the pup list so he's going to he's going to be out he's going to be out for the he's not going to he wasn't really going to get that time anyways but he's going to be out for probably about what four weeks well can't play for four weeks I should say whether or not how serious that injury is we'll see I personally just think that's a hoe Roseman move just to figure out this whole roster thing um anyways right so let's go to tight end Eagles keep two tight ends Dallas Gard Grant caler at first I was like well I really like EJ Jenkins yeah he he has he's not a proven uh he's not proven as far as uh blocking goes which we definitely need as a tight end too but he he he showed some pretty good promise throughout preseason and throughout training camp so at first I was you know what are we doing there um spoiler alert if you don't already know he's on the practice squad um so we'll see what happens there but Grant calcatera this is a this is going to be an interesting season for Grant calcatera mostly because just he's an injury injury-prone guy and like you need him to stay healthy um and whether or not he can do that we'll see I just don't think we don't you can't be it's like I don't know I say this for like linebacker certain positions and tight end 2 is kind of one of them like you can't be injury prone there right now like you can't have an injury-prone guy or you can't you got to be available if you're going to be at that our tight end too because Dallas G is already injury-prone first and foremost and if he goes down we need someone that we definitely can rely on and that's where I mean and honestly it's like all this like oh all this news floating around oh well the Eagles when they got when we got Jan doson everyone's like oh the eagle they must they must really like what's that say about Herz how many weapons does he need they must really think he it's like bro what if you're going to you're going to put your roster over the first first of all you're going to put your roster Over the Top If You Got That Super Bowl window open so I don't know I don't know where that's come from really um also if G goes down we still need options like like we need more options go Dallas G is a is our third option as far as the passing game goes well actually I can't even say that cuz you know saquin could be a third option out of the back field too but uh you know G is going to be third or fourth option and if he goes down that's why we might need a Johan Dawson um it's not guaranteed G is going to play you know every game this season he hasn't I don't think any any SE or any of his seasons in I don't think he stayed healthy uh so that that's why you get guys like that's like that's why you would sign a Jan that's why you sign another uh weapon on offense it's not like that whole narrative that like Jaylen Herz he needs all these weapons because he's not that good it's like bro I can't I like it's just frust it's frustrating man try try and just try not to listen to Nick right first and foremost I cannot stand any no Philly fan can stand Nick Nick right but try and that just don't let him bother me try don't let him don't let him bother me I say that cuz he bothers me all right just try not to take what he says serious he he's a hater man he's a hater let's be real moving on all right offensive line we got of course Lane Johnson Jordan Milada Landon Dickerson cam Jurgens McKai beckon um Fred Johnson Trevor Keegan I very high on um Daren Canard also high on and Tyler Ste um for Tyler Steen this is it it just it sucks that he went down you just you know what are you going to do about injuries but it like you you want him to pan out but it's like we I like and I if you've been watching any of my videos since the beginning of training camp like I just felt like maai beckton should be our starter anyways just because just the great Camp he put on and how versatile he is he can be inside outside wherever you want him pretty much so why wouldn't you want a guy like that starting week one anyways but and it's like not it's not like maai becton's like old or washed or anything like that like he's still he's still like has plenty of career left on the table so totally okay with uh with with our starting line being you know Lane Johnson Milada on the outside then we got Dickerson and um beckon as our guards Jurgens as Sona how could you know how could you be mad at that after losing Kelsey like really just just being honest all right I got I got a lot of high hopes for our ol this season yeah is it a question mark how cam Jurgens is really going to fair you know throughout the season we'll see but reality is like this this is a great situation we all right so Fred Johnson love Fred Johnson not surprised he made the roster same with Trevor Keegan and Daren Canard Daren Canard had the last two preseason games like man he had he had actually all three really he put up a great great preseason and a great training camp so I really like what we got in Darien Canard right now um Trevor Keegan a lot of upside young guy lot of upside um and but like I said about Tyler Stein like we'll see he's going to be a depth piece hopefully he can stay healthy don't have any problems there um and we'll see what happens you know going into next season but it's way down the road spe our you know our Specialists obviously Jake Elliot Brad man Rick levado nothing surprising there defensive line you have Jaylen Carter Jordan Davis Nan Williams I'm not including Edge rushers we have uh mams Marlon t to moroo and Thomas Booker Thomas Booker man I like I'm excited to see if he granted like we don't know how heavily he's going to be rotated in here if at all but I really like what I saw out of Thomas Booker throughout preseason you put on a like a strong showing morao we know can do damage and Marlon T is definitely definitely a guy who you want in the rotation him and mil Williams you want him in the rotation mil Williams in particular let's talk about this right Mill Williams potentially right could be like he potent aside from Jaylen Carter like he could be our best guy on the line again not including Edge rushers or anything but this is his year man you know he wants to get paid definitely a contract year for him I I just said you know one of that feel you feel in your bones man like I feel in my bones Mill Williams just G to pop off this season how I'm excit I'm just I'm really excited to see what he can do same with Marlon T um I like don't get me wrong I get it Marlin Marlin T is Marlin T but he's just a great guy to have in that rotation I really like that what I see out of him especially um in the Run game you know he's a good run stopper and definitely can get after the quarterback as well nice balance pass rush anyways so yeah Jaylen Carter that's six what six uh D linemen not including Ed rusher Carter Davis Williams t Tojo Thomas Booker all right moving on to our Edge rushers okay we kept six again as of now I I don't think I think it'll stay I think it'll stay like this throughout the whole season I don't see why it wouldn't uh barring any injuries but Josh swep Bryce Huff Nolan Smith Brandon Graham jayx hunt Patrick Johnson um Edge rusher is the for me is is a big question I'm not really worried about Bryce Huff or Josh sweat for that matter but it's just like the just the rotation aspect um Brandon Graham is his final year and again I I got a good feel it's Brandon Graham he can really honestly like he can do no wrong in any of our eyes really but uh you know last last year and um you know we'll just see we'll see what we we'll see what we get out of him but you know he's going to be a rotational guy he's not going to play every snap and um which kind of leads to my next point if you know Brandon Graham's not going to play every snap Nolan Smith is like such a question mark right now man you really wanted him to like just show out throughout preseason especially week three preseason uh the last preseason game against the uh the Vikings he's going up he's going up against scrubs man like throughout the whole game he's playing the whole game like bro can you just make a splash FL play anywhere I remember two plays from Nolan Smith throughout the whole training camp that dip that first sack he got that dip Under The Tackle which is his clearly his signature move but it seems like his only move which worries me that dip underneath the tackle got a nice big you know he got a big set um and then he got that that uh that other sack where he got pretty much chipped into the quarterback which I like yeah he's going to get the credit that's as far as like stats go but that could have been any it was more of a fault on the on the um I think it was a Patriots Patriots offensive line it's more on them than it was Nolan Smith like being like a game record or anything like that so just like I really I was really I and I really like his attitude again like love his personality seems like a great dude it's just I just you you want to see more from like and it's like he was supposed to be the guy like he's supposed to be the guy right now like and if I'm being completely truthful uh I like jayx hunt more right now like just just based off what I've seen like I like what jayx hunt could bring more right now just even in the Run game just he just seems more versatile he seems like you know he made more plays throughout training camp and in the uh in the preseason like I hope that changes well I don't know I just anyone step up really I like it doesn't really matter who but like you'd like to see it be Nolan Smith you know he's got all he's got like it's not like he was jayx hunt what J third round third round pick I don't know man I like just the expectation for Nolan Smith is way higher and you you'd like to see him do anything throughout the preseason um Patrick Johnson I'm glad he made the roster cuz Patrick Johnson he a dog um I I get it he you know it's preseason he's not going get not going against the best of the best as far as offensive lines go but what do you want him to do he can only play against who he's matched up with and did he ball yes ball man so can't be mad there let's move on to linebacker Okay C five linebackers on on the roster um Devin white noobe Dean Zack Bond troter Jr Ben vaner and Ben van Sumer and now this was kind of a surprise for me um in a way like I guess not like not a surprise surprise but like this dude's been showing up the past couple preseason like he's been making plays he's always around the ball pretty sure he was the highest graded linebacker in that uh preceding game against the Vikings which he got a lot of playing time in um and just a dog on special teams like why like yeah he should be here like the more I like the more I would think about it I was like man I was I was really sleeping on Ben van sumerin uh not sleeping but like I just I feel like I didn't credit him enough so Ben van sueran glad he's on the roster he's definitely going to play a key role in special teams and just a nice just a nice dep piece cuz you know you know he's has a high motor and he gives great effort on just about every play if he's in the game he's going to give you high effort high energy and that's the type of guy we want right let's get to DBS okay Corner safety uh we got CJ Gardner Johnson we got slay Isaiah Rogers we kept James Bradberry all right I know a lot of us are like why um but it's like I don't know man I'm I'm like not not really surprised by keeping Bradberry but what are you gonna do you know he's a vet he's gonna most likely be back up like a backup safety um I don't know like hopefully you know hopefully we not we're not in a position where we need to rely on a James Bradberry so it is what it is for now we'll see what happens definitely still um you want to be able to trade them but if there's no one willing to trade for them we going to do all right you know do we want to eat that may we'll see we'll just see what happens I'm just not really like it is is what it is you got to keep them you got to keep them all right um we got Reed blankin ship key Ringo uh vonte Maddox quinon Mitchell Cooper de Eli Ricks and Tristan McCullum now Eli Rick like I was expecting to get cut I'll be honest but then when he got signed and I had to like trying to P like why would we keep Eli Ricks but you know they want um especially how Roseman they really put a lot of stock and a lot of value and the young Corner Talent um especially before we got Coan Mitchell and before we got Cooper dein like they they're valuing young DBS clearly and Eli rxs was one of those guys like yeah he didn't really do much didn't have a bad C didn't have a great one either but we know we know what he can do we know what he's capable of doing uh and you know he has upside let's be real um also Tristan McCullum this was my I'm so so happy he made the CU if it if Brad now this is what like I would have got mad if Bradberry made the roster and McCullum didn't that's where I'm like all right man like what are we doing but luckily Mullin made the not luckily but Mullen made the roster and I'm happy just because if you were watching these games closely you know trist McCullum was a dog man just a dog anytime he saw any type of uh time in in any of these preseason games he was around the ball every play whether it was a pass whether it was a run he was making the tackles that need to be made he was getting he was laying his you know just laying Lumber just I like Lumber as far as like you know he's not he's not a big hit type of guy but like's he's not shying away from contact man and we need that desperately this year all right so love the Tristan McCullum um love him being on our roster no complaints there um and that makes 53 what we got so we got 11 DBS five linebackers six Edge rushers six D linemen um we got you know our our Specialists three of them Jake Elliot levado and Braden man um we have nine offensive linemen two tight ends as of now um five receivers three running backs three quarterbacks all right um that leads us to who made the practice squad and who made the practice squad today cuz this all just happened right before I made this video this is why I kind of wanted to wait a little bit um I almost made this video earlier but you know it made sense to just wait look at the practice squad see who we got because it's going to factor into who we who our actual official roster is because some of these guys definitely have potential to be elevated um including our first guy on this list Jack stole right so Jack stole had been cut by the Giants and everything in my B was like like we got to bring him back man we got to bring him back just because we don't have a lot of depth there was our tight end 2 pretty like well he was our tight end 2 last season because you know he's he he blocks man he's not he's not like it's not going to make big plays anything like that but we need a tight end two who can block he gets he does the Dirty Work man and we want a guy like that on our roster cuz that's that was a big question mark throughout all training camp who's our tight end two who's our TI is it going to be CCA I don't know if he can stay healthy so good thing we brought Jack St back um also on our practice squad we brought back Andre Sam not a big fan honestly but you know good for him I'm not a hater by any means so good for him I know all a lot of these guys especially you know they work their whole lives to get to this point man so it it generally speaking I love the story I I love that like you know some of these guys they still get these opportunities but not a big fan as far as like the what Andre Sam was bringing to the table not really impressed but you know our practice squad Andre Sam safety we got EJ Jenkins brought him back another tight end so we do have two tight ends here um on our practice squad and that's why I feel like someone's getting getting elevated at some point or you know if calcatera goes down one of these guys coming up for sure um if they don't already Elevate them we have Nick Gates man so Nick Gates got cut which was weird today CU like well who who if if Jurgens goes down who's going to play center like yeah I'm sure Dickerson is capable of it but is that what we want to do I don't know so brought back Nick Gates and we brought back Dylan McMahon um the rookie both of whom you know well McMahon has a lot of upside Nick Gates is someone who you know he can play guard and he can play center so um you know it's just good to have versatile guys especially on our our practice squad and especially at that position so definitely glad that they're back um Gabe Hall interior defensive lineman he got brought back I like I like gab Paul's been here for what is it two seasons now I think it's two seasons he's been he's been with us um yeah know big body definitely would probably most likely be a nose tackle maybe um you know just interior defensive lineman um Orin Burks who showed out man he didn't play at all throughout training camp until that final game man and when he played he showed out so not really mad about that because he was all over the place that game against the Vikings um happy about that definitely happy about this next one Paris Campbell is back because nothing's guaranteed at wide receiver three and Paris Campbell showed that you know before we got Jan Dawson that guy like Paris Campbell was going to be our number three to be real man like he as long as he was healthy he was most likely going to be our wide receiver three so why would we not bring him back so glad to see he's back um terion Davis price who I just like the way he run he's a vet you know he's not like uh you know he's not one of these young dudes with a ton of upside and he's like a developmental guy by any means no but I do like the way he runs and you know again God forbid anything happens to our running backs not I wouldn't be mad with him getting elevated right um Will Greer Will Greer is on the practice squad and I thought it was over for him I'll be honest I thought it was as far as his like you know NFL career goes I thought it was going to be a rrap but here he is all right so will GRE is on the practice squad um we got this is someone now this is someone we got from the commanders Marcus rosmi Jack Saint I hope that's I assume that's how it's pronounced wide receiver from that we signed off of uh the commander practice squad don't really know much about him so can't really speak on him that much but is it going to hurt to have another receiver absolutely not um brought brandan Smith back uh linebacker Kaden Sterns the safety who really didn't play much injury-wise just was never healthy and I don't even think he passed his physical before he even came to us like he just he's been dealing with some so but you know he's back um Le vakalahi who was a like he he just a wild story this dude um I believe he's from Australia and he's I think but he just started playing football like I don't remember what they said I don't want to hack his story up but he's not been playing football like for like less than five years or something something ridiculous and novon he's on the Eagles and well here he is on our practice squad offensive tackle so and I remember him vaguely from that Vikings game and didn't look too bad and wasn't amazing but what are you going to do we don't expect him to be amazing either so um in for our pup list or inactive we have annias Smith Cindy Brown probably forgetting someone but as that's as far as I know those are like our significant guys on our inactive list right now and I Smith and Sydney Brown um we'll see if Sydney Brown I don't expect me being someone who's tours ACL and meniscus just well just ACL in general like you don't really come back the next year just and expect to be right back where you were there's a lot that goes into it especially mentally um when you tear that like it that that gets in your head so it's therapy not just physical therapy but mental therapy it's a it's going to be at least a season in my opinion before he even is back to anything close to where he was before but that doesn't mean he can't come back this season I'm not saying that definitely at some point throughout the season could pop back in and you know do some damage who knows um in again there's you know freaks out there man this dude could potentially you know maybe he does come back and he is hasn't missed a step who knows man it's rare but never know all right and I think that is it as far as what I got here right can't miss anyone um this is we look good man look good right now I there's not much else to really like I mean like there's not much to be worried about there's not really much to be concerned about aside from the things that we already kind of been concerned about um my biggest concern I guess if I had to say my biggest concern would probably be whether or not our starters are going to start out slow or not because they didn't play at all throughout the preseason offensively speaking um still a little irritated with that um still a little like well concerned about it and um I hope I don't I I like I just I just know week one if we win week one it's a it's a big game it's a big game for obvious reasons I mean yes first game in Brazil blah blah blah it's a lot of fanfare this and that but I mean aside from that like you're going against like another team that's you know has uh is a contender to win the NFC right and we don't like we we can't just come out playing around man like these guys got to come out heads on fire being ready to get hit um I just I don't know like I don't we I just feel like we can't afford to start out slow against the Packers um because their Stars definitely played during preseason they definitely you know got you know got hit here and there whatever but how big of a difference it's going to make whether or not we should be concerned I'm not putting C I'm not trying to spark worry and fear and everything like that but I'm just you know I would have lik to see our guys just play a little bit so we don't have to I don't even have to think about it right but it is what it is I just hope we don't come out sloppy week one because I feel like that could be detrimental if we beat the Packers I think we go on a crazy run again I think yeah I think we could start out potentially five six and0 we come out beating uh Green Bay especially like convincingly too if you beat them convincingly then like yeah man I got no doubt out man anyone who especially become home are you serious man anyone who comes to the links getting washed man it's getting getting V I I don't I don't care who it is all right um that but that's kind of where I'm at right now man I just don't want to be I don't want to be that team starting off slow um I think week one I'm glad we have some adversity early to deal with um I don't want to just SL barely sliding by every game early in this season man I want to come out man I want a convincing win like still got that bad taste from last season man I want that washed out immediately immediately okay so that's where I'm at uh I got nothing else for now again we got what is it nine days now I'm pretty sure nine days right yeah nine days um until till kickoff and we're just kind of we're you know we're in that place man it's crazy like we're getting there it's just hard to even believe it's like we're actually going to have a game on a Friday week one it's just it's going to be a a wild Friday um but it is what it is I'm excited for it I know you guys are too I got nothing else for you hope you enjoy the rest of your day hopefully these Phils can get another win sweep these Astros I don't want to have to stress about them too um so let's get these dubs man let's get to Friday next Friday
