Sean Taylor Memorial is Changed After Backlash

in November the commanders announced that they will be unveiling the late great Sean Taylor's Memorial at FedEx field in week 12 against the Atlanta Falcons on November 27 2022 the 15th anniversary of his passion and if you're a football fan or commanders fan you know how much Sean Taylor went to that organization so naturally fans were excited for that unveiling but when the unveiling actually took place that excitement turned into anger for some many were expecting a bronze statue to commemorate Sean Taylor which is common for a team to do for a player with a huge Legacy but the commanders did not explicitly say that the memorial would be a statue but instead it was a wired mannequin depicting Sean Taylor on the field if you will in a glass display some folks took it to Twitter and ran with it they didn't think that this Memorial was well thought out and disrespectful to his legacy and family some of the common complaints included the helmet was the right model but Sean Taylor was known for taping up his mask at times and they wanted that to be seen the Sean Taylor uniform was Nike branded but when Sean Taylor played the Reebok was the official uniform of the league Sean Taylor was known for wearing multiple socks and Ankle tape and the display did not show that some people were upset about the Adidas soccer cleats but it turns out that he did in fact wear those at times and when axed his daughter said that that was one of her favorite portions of the memorial and one of his brothers came out and said that he was honored that Washington did this for his brother just showing that every opinion about the memorial wasn't negative but with all the backlash the commanders received on social media on the 27th and the 28th they felt that they needed to make a change and yesterday they revealed changes to the memorial now you see tape on the face mask the Jersey is Reebok as well as multiple socks and Ankle tape in the comments let me know what you think about the Sean Taylor Memorial all the changes enough and do you think fans will be satisfied
