American Reacts to the GOAT Jonah Lomu (Jonah Lomu Highlights)

I've had an overwhelming response and recommendation to check out the man the goat the legend Jona lomu crew I appreciate you all letting me know about this man and from what I hear this man is the goat of rugby sort of like the pioneer of the superstar in rugby being able to like lead the way for the for the incredible rugby Superstars that we see today and he played for New Zealand so we're going to check this one out I appreciate all the love all the commentary all of your time all your energy or positivity crew as I've been diving so much into rugby learning about the players the you know lived and breathed American football I've also been a massive rugby fan so as a kid I wasn't very exposed to it like to the level I'm getting to now but as I've mentioned before I played the games growing up the video games the nation that I followed the most was New Zealand so I had exposure but I was still a beginner in this game but now I'm becoming uh with your help and leveling up to know his background it says Jonah Tali lomu mnzm was a New Zealand professional Rugby Union player lomu is considered to have been the first true Global Superstar of rugby and consequently had a huge impact on the game he was born in May May 12th 1975 in New Zealand he died November 18th 2015 at the age of 40 a young man young man um 64 64 265 good God 642 265 that's insane dude that's a freaking the size of his Dome that guy's you could tell it's a big dude man that's the uniform I had the All Blacks kit when I was a kid my dad bought it for me that's why I was like more familiar with them that's cool look at the size difference it's crazy man see how high his knees come when he's running that's a beautiful Runner it's a that guy was fast too it's a beautiful runner cuz his knees come acceleration speed oh man he's for his size insane would you want to hit that guy hell no hell no you got to gang tackle him look at him take off look at him take off left side acceleration oh good Scoop good passes that was just camaraderie right there that's really good team chemistry knowing where your men are in the field look at him the way he just puts his head down and goes yeah that guy's fast man get off me this when he stops on him stop sit in the bleachers young boy s that boy nipple surfing just powerful size difference y get off me it's cool seeing the old old foot footage God that guy is getting it like a like a stallion you know when horses take off and horses heads just like they they bob up and down that's what it looks like just a stallion just running full strides beautiful it's something watching a beautiful Runner it's effortless man when people can just run so beautifully it's oh shees put the head on him young man Ah that's how you get up and pursue somebody those are that's a good tackling drill drove through somebody too he broke that man's angle and get off me power through it that's just that's defeating when somebody's just that more much more athletic than you that's crazy good field Vision look at him his head just working he's you could just see it just the way his body was moving you can see he's just thinking 10 steps ahead see his eyes his eyes are always looking downfield he's bracing for contact but at the same time looking for space on the pitch looking behind the defense that's that's a great Runner it's a great Runner takes a lot of skill to do that it's like a natural boring ability man and of course he he worked on it but look at that speed 14's getting it too but just that extra leg drive that he has he's just hitting it just hitting it woo yeah what a beautiful handoff or dump off I like that oo the timing that's awesome the timing on that was sick look at they have that [ __ ] down pat boy that's like their little thing that [ __ ] is down pat they tracked you could tell they practiced that a million times look at that like a stallion like a horse running full speed and Gallop gorgeous for oh man 14 had a rough day that gay that's the second time I seen 14 getting dusted he had a rough day that one that Wells yep nice pass outside oh lower the shoulder and get through him had to be her oh my God look at the speed look at the speed I hey I good effort on I think that was France good effort Tred to track him down but once he gets going that's a stopping a bulldozer jeez Louise oh that all that stuff and it's when you see like especially playing in the 9s what kind of athlete look like that in the 9s right like as he's playing the closest like thought I had he looks like herel Walker and Hershel Walker was an exceptional running back in in the NFL and just the way like they Gallop the way how high his knees come when he's running when somebody can run effortlessly and you can just tell when they're just powerful man when somebody's knees are basically like hitting their chest when they're running to hit some like that it's just like you can knock them out because your knee Drive is so fast violent and vicious you're just a Powerhouse running through somebody so tackling a man like this would be just damn near impossible I I mean my hat hats off to the you know the man that tried to tackle him and try it's like a guy you guy like that you have to group tackle or gang tackle to you know bring him down to the ground but you know looking back at that day I can see how he trans to the trans into the game of rugby and created that that first Global superstar in rugby because he's fu fun to watch he's so fun to watch because he has the ability to make the game look effortless right and when you see there those are those are once in A- lifetime type of players they come along you know maybe once every few Generations right and you know there's a lot of players that aspire to to play to that level but there's guys like that that just transcend the game for centuries and you can always point back and be like this is the man or woman that changed that sport forever because of the impact that they had on the game cuz the way they made it look was just so effortless and the Feats that they accomplished in that time period are just one of those things that that make a legend so I appreciate you all dialing me into the man Jonah lomu and it's crazy to see that he died at such a young age and um you know had such a massive impact it's it's interesting you know when we get players like that that that transcend the game that make things like sort of like a global um bring Global attention to a sport or event like that and to see him just pass away so young it's it's crazy to see man um that cuz I I always think about like had they lived longer like what what would could have been like the impact they made you know outside of the game like getting rugby because when you have like a celebrity name like that how far could he have taken the game into becoming like um viewed on like on the global scale like in America being where it's picked up because you know that we love the celebrity right and you have those people that are able to you know put the put the the sport on their back and spread the message around and make people pay attention like I think when I'm saying like like that I'm thinking like of like a Beckham like a David Beckham when he had soccer when he came from he came from England and brought it to the United States it was a huge thing now you have like Lionel Messi and athletes like that that are able to cross borders and bring exposure and attention and excitement to the game where it's not really recognized at the level that it is in other countries and I feel like Jon ALU not only did he do that but man I just think about like what could have what more could he have brought to the game you know how' he lived so rest in peace to this this absolute Legend and goat and I appreciate you all dialing me into this video and dialing me into this incredible man of Jon Al lomu and it's just cool to see his highlights I really love the old school commentary and the old school footage and you know seeing that it just like it's really really a nostalgic CU that's the time I was growing up in the
