So Yesterday Trey Lance had the absolute green light in that preseason game to do whatever he needed to do he played the entirety of the game they said Tre Lance go out there and play football rush for 90 yards thw for 320 combined for like 400 and something yards Tre Lance was lighting it up through the air and on the ground the only problem he threw five interceptions why he's not a great quarterback he's not even that good of a quarterback there's a reason he's not starting in the NFL and I think that's one of the things with Kyle Shanahan in the small spurts that we saw Tre Lance he was really trying not to let him off the leash he was trying to keep him reeled in because he knows when Tre Lance is let off the leash he's not that good of a player and I think the Cowboys in the back of their mind maybe Jerry Jones after trading a fourth round pick for Tre Lance had this thought maybe if I move off of Dak we can go to treands because Kyle Shanahan and John Lynch believed in this guy enough maybe I could steal their quarterback and he could be my franchise quarterback but after we saw that game in the preseason I think Jerry has to be thinking more about that Dak contract
