We Made the Freshman All-Big 12 Team! Road To Glory Ep. 4

back on the road to glory I think I'm going to use this episode to just finish out my first year in college unless we start somehow winning a lot of games it does not look like we're getting any postseason experience but that doesn't mean we can't make plays on our own I got to remember we're still very slow I knew it was a Jet Sweep let's go beautiful assist to tackle only one yard gain now they're taking us out come on man that's too easy you're got to be quicker than that just a little too slow man I don't know what else they want from me pretty much our last chance right here down 11 and the fourth less than a minute left only have two timeouts left most likely going to be a run yeah I'm selling out for it let's go fourth and five can the Sun Devils come back no another loss season's pretty much wack our next game is against 17th ranked Kansas State and it's some more of the same just have not been able to make an impact this season ah see right there we can't even get off the blocks just don't know what we're good at right now got to figure that out maybe try to play more cover toe you can't get beat over top if your assignment isn't over top Unfortunately they gave me the deep blue again oh God they got me they got me bad oh we got lucky he missed him should have been an easy touchdown right there but we escape into halftime only down one I got caught looking in the back field but at least we get a nice stop on our first defensive Drive in half number two they do end up scoring when we're not in the field now they're back in the Red Zone trying to go up two possessions oh we were going to pick that off he's lucky I know they say bad man but I don't know I think we were there nope oh yeah interception it was bound to happen eventually Alfred with the int unfortunately we do nothing with it so now we desperately need another stop to give our offense a chance he's rolling out oh he dumps it off nice tackle third down they took me out and they end up scoring but we score as well so it's a five-point game a minute 4 seconds left we have no timeouts so yeah it's over only down three against BYU in our next game fourth quarter once again they got us man up on back to back plays this time it's third and four good defense better offense they keep the chains moving we end up getting a stop and Ty this game up at 21 can we end the season strong with some W's let's go got lucky that was a terrible play call man if he threw it to my direction could have gotten our first interception of our college career slant once again good defense third down we end up getting a stop and then scoring a touchdown so we have the lead with just over 2 minutes left let's go finally get a w first one in a while all good Shamari I understand need to start racking up some uh skill points so got to start spending it on XP up against the 24th ranked team in the nation Arizona our biggest Rivals right they have to be like Florida versus Florida State right like I don't know maybe not but you have a chance to play spoiler come know what he was thinking right there but we got the big hit up three against Arizona second and nine nice tackle third and Six coming up that's T McMillan one of the best wide receivers in the nation we have a chance to beat his Squad oh it's a screen get off me oh everyone's blocking me they get the first tie ball game heading into the fourth quarter unless they somehow get a big gain on this one or touchdown or we get a pick six you never know what could happen to Jet Sweep nice that's Alfred always making plays we're going to take that to the fourth territorial cup okay so this is this must be the end of the season right if we're playing cup you know bowl games and things of that nature stop right here would be crucial they got me lined up against Ted every play I don't know why I know I'm to seeb one but jeez got you B oh they found him that was a nice dot we're just too slow somehow we get that stop we get the lead thank you defense another one oh interception he threw it right to him let's freaking go man right before the two-minute warning Alfred is a monster there we go two possession lead for the first time in forever it seems like can we end this game and play SP spiler oh that's T right there I think number four they just have good wide receivers okay a bunch of them that's why I late to study so we're just going to spend it on uh on training why not update on our skill points obviously we're trying to increase our quickness we need 10 so seven more to go okay so we can't study anymore which means you know this is most likely the off season or you know when other teams are still playing you know the national championship things like that so this is a great time to just hit that like button if you haven't already man I'm trying to finish this series but also it's a great time for us to add some skill points there's the Heisman winner 14 tackles no ints hey we made the Freshman all Big 12 somehow I thought we didn't do so hot to be honest but I am not complaining yeah I honestly cannot believe it I thought we played terrible this year but they thought differently there we are one of the two cornerbacks uh I'm going to stay in Arizona State I owe it to them they gave me a chance not going to enter the transfer portal oh wow position battle for CB2 so we're going backwards what's going on a shot of starting oh my good okay so we clearly made some changes to the team McDougall SL starter I believe oh look at this okay hey man I shouldn't even be starting if we're being honest look at that they have way better speed way better Excel agility everything like I I am not good enough awareness is pretty decent but wi two out of three first up we got Gap drill see what we got oh okay oh there it is got got him got to be 2500 it's not going to be easy you only have four reps left 753 with three reps remaining boom big hitter 1453 two reps left boom Another One 2153 we have to get this without hitting anything can we make it happen oh nope doesn't look like it 2473 he beat me so I got to win these next ones reaction test here we go go man they got to make it this far away it's all good 1153 this one should be a breeze so we should be tied up 1 don't want to jinx it but I mean this one's a lot easier than the other one already got bronze this one was a breeze 6,300 points so it all comes down to this Chase and Tackle not the easiest one ever but it's definitely doable oh maybe not not with these angles and this speed oh my goodness - 46 you know it might be better if we don't start we I think we're better in the slot and our team has a better chance of being good if we do not start we'll still get playing time cuz you know the fatigue is is still high so they're going to be subbed out as well you know and this way we don't get cooked we don't get cooked I mean look at this we're just not fast enough our CLD is not good enough all right we ended up up winning the battle anyways so now we're CB2 we are back in school plenty of time to go ahead and study we got a 3.0 GPA first game of the season against Louisville all right here we go our second season in college our sophomore year can it get off to a better start man we're going up against a wide receiver with abilities they already run the ball really well oh oh wow that's a good pass see I could only see my side that's why that camera angle is not the best just suck sometimes maybe if I'm playing deep blue I switch up the camera angle if I'm playing man or or you know near the line of scrimmage I keep it on this camera they end up getting the first down there we go see I can play much better cuz I know who's in my area so yeah I'm going to keep doing it like that might have finally figured something out hopefully that leads to you know better plays more deflections more ints or any int at all you're still searching for our first one oh that's an interception oh I almost caught it off the tip let's go much better with this camera I'm telling you I'm going to stay with this camera angle and hope for the best keep things in front of us ah he got me he just got has a good route third down and eight this is a must stop right here must stop situation see now I can play deep now I can cover two routes at once what were we doing this whole time out forgot I'm not a start anymore fourth down doesn't matter we end up losing 20 to 17 to start our sophomore season tough way to go out but I think we're going to advance week and do this position
