Wordle, Connections, Mini Crossword & Strands - July 31

Wordle what's up Wards my name's Kenny hope you're all feeling good today it is Wednesday July 31st in this video I'll play wle connections the mini cross word and strands uh as always leave a comment let me know how you guys did on any of these games we'll start with Wordle here and my randomly selected word for today is bevel so let's go Ahad and put in bevel see if it gets me any information okay there's actually two e in here okay that is great because I was a little concerned about that uh using two EAS and the first guess but uh okay so okay the E could go there could be two e right here um there could be uh an e at the end um we could go with peace although we may have just had this not too long ago I'm trying to think I'll try pece oh okay uh when I saw the P light up I thought for a second I thought maybe I got it on my second try but this is awesome okay so uh the E does go last PE p what is there a word with three e like this just checking just checking um an i there it might not be a vowel so let's go okay there there can only be like so many things p r h I'm not sure I I don't know where to go from here could end in e p r something e per is purse a word like this okay it's a it's a word I don't know what it is it's not purse I don't know I'm thinking of the word parse um and obviously the word purse with a u i don't know why I I put that I should have maybe thought a second longer and realized that that kind of didn't make sense but maybe maybe that's a word that I um PE uh it's not like something with a [Music] G I don't know why I can't see this one pep Pepsi pep is it a vowel here [Music] P something te I don't know why I don't get this okay let's put in all the letters we got to go through this p q no p e w Pew pewy pewy uh I don't think it's a w t Pai sorry guys I'm doing this letter by letter and it might take me a second cuz I don't get this one don't think this is a word okay why I don't see anything with a Y immediately that just doesn't look right hopefully I I'm not I think a you U just doesn't look right like some of these letters like I put them in and my first instinct is that doesn't look right but I could easily be overlooking something on any of these Pei I mean this this doesn't make any sense is there any word that's Pei I mean there are probably words that are Pei but it just doesn't look right page that's not a word right let's put it in and see if it's a word okay I'm just checking um p o wow I'm sorry guys I I I'm lost here it's not two e right PE e e something e peeve oh I guess peeve would have been one PE p Peak peed PE I don't think there's one here right wow I am I'm lost here maybe there's just a word that I'm not familiar with and I got to guess random things um p p p Petty F PF I'm sorry I I apologize for this one today this is horrible this is just horrible I can't come up with anything here this is H oh my god of course n is all the way at the bottom of the keyboard so I took me forever to oh my gosh yeah not not not my greatest day and I I hate being stumped like that and like seeing nothing on guess guess three or four but like that is uh that was tough for me I I definitely had a tough time there uh well uh yeah I mean let me know how you guys did on this one uh let's go ahead and move on I am I am done with with whle today we got it we got there uh somehow um can imagine a pointer is a dog I'm not really a dog uh I don't like I'm I'm very I don't know dogs let's just say that so I don't know I think pointer might be one I'm not sure maybe Porter's one too I'm not sure I'm not sure exactly what Gruff means um okay uh would Ruff or Ruff go with horse I have no idea um uh is Gruff like Ruff I Gruff like horse I'm not totally sure on that one one um I mean I see fry ring like onion ring but like I don't know if there's anything else there is Porter is Stout a beer thing is Porter a beer thing in a sour maybe uh that might be a thing out of the rest of these rough Amber these would all just be guesses I don't know um yeah not a great day for me today I don't this is one I'm not too familiar with bulldog husky I mean I got to think that those are things that are in the same category what else would Bulldog be has the word Bull in it has the word or it's not this is like a a homophone for horse I don't think there other homophones here I'm going to try sour Porter Stout and I guess Amber Amber looks like it might go with them I don't know yeah that was right ale Styles okay I two things I'm not familiar with dogs and beer uh don't know my my uh my stuff there also don't know my car models so if that was a thing I don't know that either but that's not on today's but uh okay [Music] um what next middle finger little finger ring finger pointer finger I think that was supposed to be an easy one today and I did not see it do you call it the little finger like guess so yeah um so what is this Ruff Gruff horse husky is that a word for that uh fry maybe that's a word I don't know I don't get it H I like one of these is supposed to be easy I I don't know what it is it might be rough Gruff horse and then one other word which I don't know the other word is I guess husky I I don't I don't know like what would husky mean in that sense that's right husky means raspy okay H I didn't know not know that I don't know if I've heard that before um all right final category purple there might be might be some weird trick here kiss horn Bulldog fry french fry french bulldog French horn French Kiss yeah clearly it's French okay yeah that made sense once I saw all four of them there once it was all narrowed down so um I am surprised I got this one today I will be honest I was struggling there for a minute um but anyway did I use any hints that were wrong I did not use any hints that were wrong okay well uh I guess you could say I did good then it did not feel like it if in the moment it definitely felt like a uh like I was stumped but uh I I worked it through and that's uh hey I got today I got connections today I am just you know it's just patience take your time you'll get there eventually if there's that that's the lesson for the day all right uh now let's go on to the mini let's go ahead and uh move on over to the mini crossword and we'll see how I do Mini Crossword there okay here we go mini crossword Wednesday July 31st let's see if I can solve it keyboard key near the top left near the top left Escape I yes I did look down at the keyboard that might not be it it could be tab actually it says near the top left also aren't there different keyboards for like um Apple products and not Apple products so I don't know hot couple in a celebrity gossip column uh uh a pair a couple I don't know wild as an animal wild as an animal this what pharoh means I have no idea like many four-legged friends like many four-legged friends well four-legged friends you don't know like it could be any animal so is it is it are we referring to like just like dogs here or something or is it just any like many animals that have four legs what is a way to describe them I have no idea keyboard key on the bottom space okay this could not this could be something other than Escape little spats I don't know thoroughly devoured what ends in P it might not have S at the start but it might um uh is this like eight up is so this would be Tab and this is like eight up does that make sense War cross was it te makes sense here little spats a a spat oh man once again feeling stuck on these games today all of them that could be right I have no idea what it is though oh wait a minute uh I think last week when I was making a mini cross word which I do every week for patreon uh I feel like I put this or I had this word in there or at least I when I was creating it it came up uh an item and tiffs okay somehow I got this one today this seemed like I was going to fail it and it was pharoh we just had didn't we just have phoh in wle or we had something that was like phoh no I think we did have phoh that's maybe that's why that came to mind right away furry obviously furry friends man I'm glad hey I got eight up hey that was pretty good and Yogi Bara don't know how I remember that name did not really know how to spell it for sure but obviously this is what made sense who I was going to say wasn't Yogi Bara a baseball player but [Music] like [Music] um okay it was Tab and you know it did say near the top left and that made me think it was tab but I put an escape first but yeah I know this makes sense okay we are working our way through all these ones today I have been able to I've been successful on all of them but I've definitely felt stumped on all of them uh we got strands next let's go over to strands here and as I move my camera so I don't forget to do that today okay here we go strands Strands what is the theme today staying power I have no idea what that means like that I don't think that I would be able to get that at all uh mustard no must bust busted uh Bust A Move no Guff uh stick uh okay so today feels like a day also there's an X down here that might help me today feels like like a day where I'm going to have to put in all the words that I see on here and hope that one of them is part of the theme instead of looking for words that make sense for the theme I don't know what like hate um stuff no is it something stuff stub stuff stub stub oh let's see bum bum stuff bum it's not bum stuff okay uh Lego epoxy oh epoxy glue okay no I think I might get it now sticky stuff it was stuff okay yeah it was stuff all right I was right for seeing stuff uh BB Bubble bubblegum um by the way epoxy literally never knew what the heck that stuff was until we had it in wle two years ago was it like one of the whenever wle was just like epoxy was one of the first difficult words in wle that I ever ever had that I it might have been I might have failed that day it might have been like my first failure probably not I but I remember that word and I had I've never heard of that word before in my life before whatever it was last year whenever we had it in wle and uh yeah stuff like that I'm I'm I'm learning so much stuff from these games um so what are these last how many we got three left um uh sticky tape maybe yes right um adhesive yes adhesive [Music] and oh caramel caramel okay there we go uh nice so that was uh staying power that that makes sense I mean like once I saw epoxy in glue like it made all all made sense today but I thought for sure that this theme was not going to help me at all but I get it let me know how you guys did on this one uh let me know how you guys did on any of the games today um I am just happy to play I have fun playing these even if I struggle a little bit today was definitely one where it just felt like I wasn't going to get there but I did I did get there just had to have a little bit of patience so um I'll be back tomorrow
