As we wake up on a Friday morning, the Mets and the Braves tied for the final wild card spot in the National league and the Mets finish the year with the Phils. The Braves and the Brewers, they have the toughest schedule the rest of the way among playoff contenders. And I, I think I read this right. New York hasn't trailed in the last 53 innings. Makes sense of that for us because you have a front row seat to watch the Mets every, well, the Mets have been just so much fun to watch. You have to remember they started the season 22 and 33 in May. They're one of the worst teams in the game and they have turned it around because this guy francisco Lido has decided he wants the MVP. Their starting pitching now is going into the seventh, sometimes into the eighth inning. Diaz has kind of straightened himself out and the bullpen has gotten better. Vientos is having one of the best rookie seasons of the third baseman in quite some time. So a lot of, a lot of great things are happening, but they're chasing a Braves team I love Snicker and that coaching staff, they are just so resilient. Braves last year. Had everything go right. They had some career years from Acuna and Olson and others. None of that this year. Health is bad. No career years and they're still in the mix. So you gotta respect the Braves and the Mets. Do what, I'm sorry, go ahead. You were gonna say Lindor. No, I was gonna ask, what do you think is gonna be the X factor that separates one, either the Braves or the Mets going down. Yeah, Shaman, I was pitching tonight. He could definitely be an X factor but they play on the Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday of the last week. So it's all gonna come into that series and it Atlanta, which will be great TV, for all of us. You said Lindor wants MVP? Does he get it in your mind? Well, I, I don't know if Lindor Real, you know, wants it in his mind. I, I just watching him play. He has just been on a roll. I remember as a kid, Carrey in 1967 had September possible dream. September Jelic in 1819, the September that he had, um, occasionally these athletes, they just pick up the whole team and put them on their shoulders. That's what he's done. Really? For the last 90 games or so. Do you have OMG on your playlist? I don't have OMG on my playlist. Why? Because I hear it 4, 400 times during the game. We like, it's kinda catchy. It's kind of catchy. So, the Mets are at home tonight to take on the Cincinnati Reds. We're gonna talk about them in just a second. Meantime, the Braves. Where are the Braves? Oh, they're at home as well. They take on the Toronto Blue Jays.
