so Gerald merard fought tonight and he won with his submission and it kind of seemed like Gerald just played his cards right up until then he was in a lot of danger and he pulled the reversal but even though Gerald merart has definitely been around for a long time and he's kind of gate kept the rankings of the UFC middleweight division I'm starting to see that um he's losing a lot more than he's winning even though he won tonight he kind of showed the age and he showed that he's very vulnerable as a fighter in the middleweights against other UFC fighters of course he's still an amazing Grappler I don't want to sound like I'm hating on Gerald because he really just has been if you're a fan of the UFC you know who Gerald merard is he's definitely a staple to the sport despite that not being like Championship Israel out aagna material and I know he's not first place but he definitely deserves an honorable mention for all the work but I think he should be thinking about retiring soon
