FSU Football | DE Marvin Jones Jr. and RB Lawrance Toafili on Jacksonville practice

I had a lot of fun today uh new environment always uh you know good to find ways to connect to each other especially you know staying in the dorms and stuff so it's been a lot of fun so far yeah I mean it's been a great time you know we here in Jacksonville the little the indoor is nice you know good Turf so it's definitely a fun experience what's it like to be in an NFL practice this facility for you guys does it give you like a little preview of like what's to come is it make you work harder yeah I would say it's definitely motivation uh it's definitely somewhere I want to be very soon so uh yeah that means a lot to be in a facility so yeah just you know I feel like he he covered out with I mean you know get playing to get the practice in uh NFL indoor know it's a how cool is it to see jar and yeah it's cool to see them guys you know what I mean I was just playing with the boys last year so it's it's awesome to see them you know come back and and support us out of the guys on the defensive line with you so far uh a lot of just uh knowledge a lot of uh questions being asked a lot of questions being answered uh new things found every day uh just trying to figure out how to play with each other it's been a lot of fun a lot of uh you know new questions stuff being asked so very insightful nor what kind of confidence do you have in the secondary behind you right now yeah uh I tell them guys all the time I'm money on them every every play no matter what I know they got my back we going to work together so I'm going to try to get to the quarterback for them they going to try to cover for me so so can you just talk a little bit done more venturing this year than any time in your football life with all these newcomers that come in skill positions yeah most definitely I mean just me knowing knowing how we work and how we operate and how things are supposed to go basically the standard I mean I definitely been you know pulling guys along and showing them the way what is your feeling about where this off can go a lot of new fa a lot more questions on that side of the RO on the what are you see I mean we we got some weapons and we got different skill sets and I feel like we we have you know the the sky's limited for us man you know so we just got to keep putting at working every day about DJ and his connection with yeah most definitely I mean you know he he he sits back there and he's really going to throw the ball you know what I mean and he's he can run he's a big guy nobody wants to talk of that so I feel like yeah we got some weapons Marvin how about this offensive line and seen some rivs the last couple years in Georgia where would you put this one with those two uh I don't never like the compare but I just know I've gotten better every day since I've been here uh a lot of fun competing with JB Lucas early so a lot of fun for sure used to taking coaching from huh you ever be used to taking I don't think anybody is honestly n but he's so fun to be around you know how passionate he is and you know he really cares about us so definitely a lot of fun Lawrence the DBS man they they're loud and they're good yes inde what what is that doing for the receivers to kind of go up against I mean it's it's bringing a challenge to us every day you know iron sharp as iron you know what I mean so we're going at it back and forth and you know they win we win sometimes it's it's great competition what did the guys tell you about Jacksonville in this mini camp what's it been like standing in the dorms yeah uh I mean everybody say it's been a lot of fun a lot of connection and stuff being buil I don't think anybody really likes the you know the twin size match but match do a lot of fun so far so yeah do you look this what for you coming out here do you look forward to this at all I mean it's it's a cool experience you know what I mean we get to really get away as a family and I feel like we we come together during this time so you know it's always good to do that laen College college football is all about jumping maybe for better opportunities you've stuck around to get this opportunity after 4 years what's it mean to you I mean it means everything you know I'm I'm old blooded you know what I'm saying from my heart so you know I just want to be able to contribute however I can for this University was there any um adjustments having to practice indoors the whole time or oh no no I mean we prac is at the indoor back in Tallahasse so you know it's regular regular to us regular work day all good all right thanks guys appreci appreciate y'all Y have nice thank you
