lot of good Playmakers you don't have to reinvent the wheel this early in the game on third down going up top he's got the back in the middle and he's not the defense dening him the first one of the things I love about this defense is they just have such great awareness and they're always communicating they understood the down and distance they knew exactly what they needed to do to make the tackle to force the punt that is so well done so we're scoreless their first drive of the game in this coach we got to be aggressive man we got to be aggressive let's get it I thought that linan was going to stop us right there got to be aggressive baby let's go it was a good play call I like him being aggressive especially after getting that first down they'll from come on nobody want to get the the 2 good theer not to cover the quarter throw theall yeah route they say if you're looking you're booking so if that's man coverage the receiver staring at the quarterback all the way across the field that time the receiver didn't give the quarterback his eyes so they were on the same page they both knew it was Zone and they EX did that perfectly they to block and I think they'll give him two on that one second and eight coming up well man there's some big hitting going on in the trenches right now this defense they take a lot of pride in stopping the Run let's keep our eye on them throughout the course of the game and see if they can contain this running attack back it's Rogers he finds his man he's R out of bounds but not before turning in a big pick up and moving the sticks for a first down that was a nice pick up running the drag route and finding that quiet soft spot in the zone yeah drag routs not only work against man coverage they work against zone two if you can find the soft spot and the quarterback gets it to him early he can turn up field you saw that right there looking to [Applause] throw and he will score touchdown husky man I just love the execution by this late in the you want to the lead you want to get and they do it they fin with pass game I like when they play Man coverage love it let's go y'all worried about covering deep y'all about to cover David every possession is magnified and I think more than anything it just gets frustrating and you got to put that behind you you got to see what this defense has been doing to be so successful Palmer now use it against yeah David I think for a play caller this is tough right it's like you have to have the perfect play on just to get a first down in these types of games I think you're just trying to get guys out in space see if a dude can break a tackle maybe that generates an explosive play and it breaks this trend looking for a man it's Rogers out of the back field he's [Music] open keep checking it down baby keep checking it down QBs you think about Warren Moon you think about Markell the H Brothers what about Jake Brown made really good decisions what's up David sluggy what's hit somebody ball he's hitting the outside David it puts the defense in such a difficult spot you immediately have to be rotating when you see that motion so everybody's got to communicate kind of over that's why makes def baby leaving all those S over the top going throw it again going for the they I didn't throw it right thir did not throw that right that was good defense and and unfortunately we've been saying that all game long really really good defense listen you can spin on the other side this offense has really been bad he'll wave for the fair catch andul it in at the 25 UCLA is back on the field ready to go work has premium Jesse in every possession seems like it could switch the momentum of the game yeah re for this off feels like they just haven't been as physical for this offensive coordinator David he's having to go deep into the playb just to try to generate a first down and the good thing is there's not a ton of game pressure because the other side's not scoring either but if you can find that one thing that get that one positive Play Dancing again let's get dancing again knows being at of attack dominated at the line of scrimmage nice job there them getting stops on first and second down you've got to get those stops early in the drives to set up third and long so that's a missed opportunity on that second down by this defense wide open down field that is exactly what you're looking for when you talk Expos way the defense finally able to make the stop Washington has it and a fresh set of downs it oh why didn't that cut it let's work the left side let's work the right side we got to keep working this right side let's go back to the left let go back to the left go back to the left in the when it comes the rush and that really helps
