today is World Suicide Prevention Day it's no easy task to change the narrative on suicide but it starts by having open conversations a common misperception is that talking about suicide will cause them but having conversations can actually reduce the risk and show those who are struggling that they aren't as alone as they thought they were for 2792 days I've been participating in the 22 push-up challenge to spread awareness of the previous average of 22 US veterans who die by Suicide each day while I'm not a veteran myself I use this challenge as an opportunity to provide Suicide Prevention resources like 988 to anyone who may need it
