what it dude it's your boy Aon and this is another episode of the oneman army show I'm officially titl in this one the Tennessee VMA takeover the VMAs happened last night if you don't know uh yesterday September 11th uh shout out to all of people that was nominated shout out to all other winners but like I said I'm going to call this the Tennessee VMA takeover we had a lot of people in the state that was uh representing us real well yesterday and we going to run a couple of them down and they from all over the state so you know it go from country to rap to pop it's all type of artist that was from the uh from the state there last night so we going to jump into it hit them like subscribe leave comments All of That Matters to help build the channel and let's get into it so first we going to start with the biggest winner of the night which is Taylor Swift she was nominated for 12 Awards she walked away with seven of them some of those Wars include video of the year for fortnite featuring post Malone artist of the year best pop artist director of the year that's crazy she directed her own video best editing for the same song fortnite featuring post Malone best collaboration uh fortnite post Malone song of the summer once again fortnite featuring post Malone I haven't heard the song personally I I seen a snippet of the video but that seems to be the big song that she has right now now and she got uh 12 nominations and seven wins off of that so shout out to the uh Nashville native Taylor Swift you know what I'm saying for bringing home seven Moon Men last night big shout out to you next we going to move into Memphis Tennessee native glorilla she was nominated for uh four nominations and even though she didn't walk away with any wins she was kind of one of the big winners last night cuz she did perform at the award show she performed yeah glow and TGIF if you haven't seen it make sure to go to YouTube watch the performance you know what I'm saying it was a good a good look for Tennessee and to see you know from where she started to her growth now that was a huge look for Tennessee and a huge look for her she was nominated for Mt MTV push performance of the year for lick or something best collab uh for WABE featur Megan the stallion best hip hop song which was ylow and song of the summer wannabe featuring Megan the stallion uh Yo Gotti was also in the building last night another Memphis Tennessee native so like I said once again this was the Tennessee VMA takeover cuz it seemed like man we was just all through that thing and and once again shout out to uh glorilla for all of her nominations if you didn't see the performance make sure to go check that that out all right next we going to move into my boy jelly roll man he was nominated for uh two Awards last night but even though he was only nominated for two Awards Eminem opened the show by doing uh a a version of a song called save me that was of course originally one of jelly Rose's big songs off of one of his recent albums but Eminem recently remade it and basically turned it into a hook for a song that he dedicated to his daughter and they played jelly roll in the background you know what I'm saying on the big screens and I didn't even expect it I was just watching the Eminem performance cuz you know I like how Eminem when he does the uh the the fun songs I mean the series songs are cool but I like when Eminem gets silly so of course he did a reedition of one of his old VMA performances where he brought out a whole lot of uh Eminem look Al likes and then he transitioned into the song featuring jelly roll Sav me and uh it was just cool cuz I ain't even expect it but you know they had Mr roll on the screen in the background and I'm pretty sure he was probably somewhere in the crowd or somewhere at home you know what I'm saying with a big Kool-Aid smile on his face watching it cuz I was I'm proud of my boy man I seen him come a long way uh but he was nominated for two Awards alongside uh Jesse Murphy which is also another Nashville native like I said Tennessee was all through that thing and both of them together was nominated for MTV push performance of the Year Jesse Murphy Wild on featuring jelly roll and uh best collab Jesse Murphy Wild on featuring jelly roll and that's actually a dope song If you haven't got a chance to check that nominated that's that's also from the state user if you don't know from Chattanooga Tennessee he was up for two nominations which are best R&B song for good good featuring summer Walker and 21 Savage and also best afro Beat song which was uh Usher and a guy called Phils I think I'm saying his name right and the song was called uh ruins another honorable another honorable mention for the night Mr morg Walling he is from I think it's sneville Tennessee if I'm saying that right you might want to fact check me on that but I think it's sneville Tennessee and uh he was up for one nomination which was for best collaboration which is uh I had some help which is the post Malone song featuring Morgan won but you know you featured on the song you still nominated for the song So shout out to all of
