Andy good evening uh thank you for joining us after this uh well loss ultimately at home to harle PO United Andy we agreed on Saturday that it was a tough day at the office and and deserved defeat really tonight was a tough day but for different reasons yeah uh like I said we've come out of it with no points which is what we obviously went into the game trying to get points out of it uh I thought performance- wise was pretty good I was quite happy with most of the phase of play most areas thought we competed we knew there'd be big strong physical um I felt we matched them for most of the game um but unfortunately we've come out the wrong side of a one nil the table says one point from nine from the opening three games do you feel that the performances maybe deserve more than one point um well the tables don't lie but I I've said that for the last few years I don't look at the tables until you played perhaps 10 12 games because then it starts to make sense at the end day I'm just judging each game like looking after that and I thought we were pretty good tonight against a team that are fancy to do well their remit is to get in and around it um we were good but ultimately we've got to be better in the boxes because that's what's cost us tonight we've had enough chances to get something out the game and we haven't um the general performance was good the work rate was good the physicality was good the matchups was good uh but you know football's deciding about putting the ball in the net and we didn't managed to do that and ultimately we haven't scored enough goals in the first three games so what I don't want to be is a team that's in every game and okay it was good and everyone's saying oh that'll be fine we'll be fine playing like that but we have to find a way to score some goals pick some points there but you know we knew it was going to be um we go away disappointed I've said that in the change room but you know I was happy with that performance in general that's what I want my team to be about you know loads of energy loads of work rate loads of desire you know standing up for the club and I thought they did that uh The Lads will be down obviously I mean you've just come from the dressing room to to do this interview and um it'll be a very down dressing room in the fact that they have played well but actually particularly second half but got nothing from it and confidence is a very fragile thing in football um would it be difficult or or are you are you concerned in anyway that you may Lo they lose their confidence and actually then that starts affecting performances uh not really we just said that now we've played three teams that have been in the league in the last few years they three teams that are all looking to get promoted this year that's all their remits um and we've been in every game I wasn't particularly happy Saturday I didn't think we're at our best but again it was a tough place to go they've got a lot of good players um and we were still in it you know five minutes ago so we have to keep we have to keep building on it you can't lose the belief um the performances have been okay I think the two home games really good in my opinion how we've not got more points I don't know cuz we should have won the first game because it was a goal up and missed two good chances after that and tonight we've had chances to get some of out even at the end being a goal down we still should have scored and got something so you have to take that belief you have to keep that keep the confidence you know there's a reason why you know we're at the level we deserve to be at the level um and we've got to keep believing that we're at the level for the right reason if that makes sense you should as a player take confence out of them three games although we've not got as points that I'd like us have got we probably should have had more but we haven't we know from football we played games lot this last year and come out we probably didn't play as well as that and won one nil it's five margins we know that and they'll believe that you know you know when you get beaten played off a pitch then you lose confidence they shouldn't lose confidence based on that tonight now well just a few days now until we make that trip to Lincoln shift to play Boston United who of course came up via the playoffs with us from the national league North and um we went there early last season didn't we second game in I believe and we got a win on a Tuesday night and uh they were much fancy for the title themselves last year in the National League North 12 months on or so it's a very different animal now and so you'll dare say it's a tough place to go but you've got to pick the lads up now Andy going into that one yeah already it's a big game because we you know we're looking for a first win so a um I know from watching Boston towards the back end of last season and during the season they've got a good team and that's why they got promoted you know they beat some good teams to get up again they're going to be a little bit fragile they had three defeats but again they've played three massive clubs and this it's tough league so you know as we saying air could be fora there's is probably just the same but we know it's going to be a tough game very different tonight you know we know they'll pass it they've got a good surface uh and they're going to be looking to pick points up just like we are so like said you look at the fixtures there's no easy games in this league and like Boston is just as
