A great job, Dom and the excitement surrounding the fever is impacting downtown Indianapolis. Our Logan Gay joins us live outside Gain Bridge fieldhouse with the Caitlin Clark effect on local businesses. So, Logan, what did you learn tonight? Well, Scott, we went to several places tonight and everyone we spoke to says they've been super busy before and after the game business has been booming since last April when Caitlin Clark officially became a member of the Indiana Fever. That's what we heard from workers at spots around downtown during Wednesday's game with the sparks. You could tell the difference with the WNBA impact on the city ever since. You know, Caitlin Clark, Angel Reese. Everybody's come out of the draft, Dave Letterman with the wild beaver has worked downtown for more than a decade. He says he's seen the fan base grow specifically for Indianapolis. You could tell that it's the same crowd as like a Pacer game would get fans like Diane Westerfield and her niece, Robin Diane traveled here all the way from Denver to see the fever in Caitlin playing. She's brought a lot of excitement to this city. Her niece, Robin lives in Indianapolis and is also a big fever fan. It's almost a full house every game. It's awesome to see. Um obviously like restaurants and hotels and everything around the city are getting um revenue and stuff from coming to see them play. So it's, it's a great time, a time that business leaders don't want to end during the, you know, normal W NBA seasons where you don't see as much of the last few years, you know, this year we picked up and now you got your June, July and August, obviously, this means more money for local businesses. But Lederman says it's about more than that. It's all about the experience, to be honest, for the W NBA fans that really might not have come out the last few years, but now of a sudden they started coming out. So they're really noticing places post COVID that really can affect, um moving forward with future seasons, the high Pets fans urging people to come check it out for themselves, why she's here, comes to you. So if you wanna see the Indiana Fever, there are still five games left in the regular season, so still plenty of time to get one of those coveted seats.
