what's up guys it's AJ Marco here welcome to MVP baseball 2005 classic day we are back at the Astrodome this time we got a very tough opponent that we haven't faced in a long time it is the MVP Heroes I haven't faced them in a long time now you probably noticed that's going to be a little different cuz I was able to fix the setting on my Xbox to make it more widescreen so that's why it's not like little close so it's going to be a little harder this time so we're facing the Heroes Joe Morgan may he rest in peace the pitcher on out is Andrew Heeney who is a very decent pitcher it's a lot better when you have offensive support and as of right now though I do have the 2024 Texas Rangers I created myself 100 attributes but not everything is 100 like for example velocity I don't make it all fast that's speaking to miss but there Joe Morgan Robin ya all Famer made a me of him on Wii Sports baseball com below if you guys want me to do that series again and and hopefully sometime in the future like maybe soon soon maybe July August I don't know I'll return to it now my last two videos I will explain the the the video before which talked about MVP baseball 20 years later I'm going to be honest I said some things that were not accurate maybe the video's gone but I said the I don't like how the animation was a little darker than the um MV4 but the reason I am wrong is because I look at it now I'm like oh my goodness it's very bad quality when you come to creating characters now we got that out of the way three at three down and this is the guy we're facing Jim Palmer he's known for a pal ball and there's the guys on the field look at them they're Legends themselves make at their base and yep we got a lot of those things now there's marus Simeon I like those old white but the rager Jersey uniforms I do like the the cursor script new ones though but I don't like I'm not a huge fan of their City connect 100% I mean it could be a lot better but I like how they attemp to connect to the city oh my goodness the palom ball oh my word that's the same pitch that Roy holiday had man he also rest in peace there's Cory Seager pitch woo slider with yoink combo what Legends or MVP Heroes you would have today they were in the 2024 League I'm not talking just Hall of Famers from these guys I'm talking like maybe others that are in the Hall of Fame Roy holiday for example and maybe even Adrian belr that's the Deep left field right into the left fielder armman kbu there's Adis CIA this is probably going to be my hardest challenge yet by far though because I am facing here the MVP Heroes a team that has Hall of Famers and legends and they are going to be tough to beat oh my word you thought why did I almost swing at that why did I almost swing at that two balls no strikes pitch oh that's a good swing center field come on oh back back back back back ah come on Robin ya ah robbery much dang it well three three down but that was pretty brutal schmith kilber and Jackson are up and mik Schmid he actually has hit a lot of home runs with their base more 500 career home runs unfortunately though injuries sideline his career and he retired in May of 2000 not 2000 May of 1989 so the more you know and even that that he still was voted into the All-Star game so there is that moment Harman kilu he played first base but he was a left fielder at this game and there's a pop to Center there's Simeon running underneath this one catches it okay so there we got Reggie Jackson it's a lefty Lefty match so he's not going to pound the ball to the Moon he'll ground it to Josh Young hope he gets healed soon and that's the third out and now we got Wyatt lford nataniel low and Josh Young yes Wyatt lford Desy hitter he just returned to the ranger lineup I gave him the mayor stance oh my goodness popped it up right to center field right to ya I gave him the May stand cuz I thought it was accurate and probably hope is good thano gave him the mustache like a little brush mustache ground it and Schmid dang this it doesn't matter if you got all Everything 100 attributes you got to get right through their their defense and the teeth of them that's a high swing in a Miss I think I need to switch uh Josh's bat it's a black wooden bat I use but he has a more of a wooden bat but then again I guess then again it probably looks is probably could be better 02 on Josh the pitch oh there's a swing to the opposite field oh come paain with that love buddy a okay this is U going to be a very very tough game pitch grounded Josh and got Willie starel no as pops out there's Johnny benj my dad's favorite legendary catcher and one of his favorite players at the time and got him I don't think he'd be happy he saw this video of me getting his guy out look at theow he does the toss and andreini makes the play and there is Luis AIO very contact hitter short stop and dar's an example base hit should die for that one that's a base hit the first hit of the game period now Joe Morgan is up he was a striker F last time up but he's probably going to try and get a hit it's close so we're going to try and throw waffle it first and they call it a strike whoa I don't think he was see it like that one only one pitch okay he knew that was strike there two strikes on him let's get him here we got to go let's do outside fast ball see get the budge he had made a budge all right see you see you later second strike out of the game for him yikes and now we have Evan Carter Jonah Heim and Lodi traveres fixed up the go goatee game the goatee cuz I the Van Dyke wasn't fully accurate so grounded right to the first base oh he bobbles it it's going to be close play at first ah got him he was out by out and the back and was uh not even close Jonah Heim at the plate there's the first pitch to him and he files it to the left side Schmidt will make the catch and foul ground near the bullpen that was out that's how they were back then they always have him out mly out there they grounded my word we're not getting any Basit right past their defense three up three down once again on us just gu to keep riding takes a strike in the fourth inning it's still nothing nothing and this is not our game swinging a myth losing my sanity a flyball right Garcia will get this one and he will make the catch scoreboard up there as you saw on the right field worse shows one hit cuz they actually got one hit on their number nine hitter which is embarrassing for some people and there's a long fly out and that's an easy catch right there two outs and there's Schmid Mike Schmid and line out to the third base and Josh now it's Simeon Seager Garcia the top three core hitters see if we can get some big hits here takes a strike on a palm ball one one on him there's next one pitch oh that's a good swing to right center field nope that's going to be caught yikes Rie Jackson was right there on that one Seager up over one hopeing we get a hit right past their te for the defense and that is not toward te for the defense that's there that's just the skin of it great not too happy with that he is up for one we change it up here oh that that was fair that would have been gone dang it that probably gave him a heart attack just by seeing that swing oh one pitch up ding dang that was foul just hit off the edge of the bat that was outside let's watch it 0 and two pitch got him with the pal ball dang it so far it's no one's getting runs guys just keep focusing we're in the fifth inning and it's pretty much a nothing game this is going to be the hardest challenge so far two strikes now only two on Harman keru see see if we can get him here the O and two pitch swing a Miss sit down and there's Reggie Jackson no for one Al for one is Reggie Jackson oh he went around buddy yep no gamble there so got only one on him after that little exchange and got only two on him he didn't expect that breaking pitch two get get a little try to get him something a little off speed like a change up 02 he didn't go even I know that no argument for me blue no argument for me one and two the pitch rounded Seager will make the easy play for the out now there's William mccovy he's the desate hitter not the first P that's William mccovy pop to the left side and caught third out we're going to bomb the inning and it's Wyatt lingford come on Wyatt get a miracle man we need a miracle here a big hit would be nice right over their heads pitch oh that's that's a good swing deep to left field and right into the glove dang it can we at least get a hit can we get at least one hit one hit would be nice this is starting the reminiscent of the game five 2023 World Series we're not getting anything in there's Josh Young at the playover one would it be nice if we just hit it right over their heads if we can and hit it to left field there's our first hit finally our first hit goodness that took too long to do EV Carter isable for one gota be careful though if we try to steal GI bench could get us oh there's another base hit and we're going to stop at second because they would have gotten us if we tried to go to third two on two outs though so we may have gotten hit but it's now about the runs we need to get some runs in there's a line drive right to appreci dang it rally killer we got two hits though that's good we got so that's the good news the bad news is we failed to score one run so we have no one against Johnny Bench Johnny Bench the pitch swinging a Miss 0 and two now try to get try to get him on something like a downward curve ball or something to throw him off his game okay he was not fooled he knew that was going to be inside and low so try to get him again this time on a slider that might be borderline grounded and foul foul there will be no throw Josh J will probably be out of real life and look who it is on the mound Gaylord Perry that's going be interesting how we deal with him if we ever face him later on in the game has a line drop left field that's going to be a base hit Josh will hold at second with a single a single for Carter and the runner second and Phil nro gayor perod that's going to be tough nro is the Miss he tried to change it he got struck out Schmid is up over two and here is the pitch line drive that is going to be low they the Fielding play Haiti got him three up and three down naani low does the best defense and makes the out so we're going to the S with five nothing lead and there's Marcus Simon 0 for three struck out there's let's see there's Gayla peris first pitch fork ball hope he's not using this with his with the ball a little bit doing like the spitball that's what I mean he was one of the guys who use that yo that's GNA hurt my back just looking at that 0 and two now pitch yikes how bad was that swing whoa late swing Seager is up we're just waiting for a good pitch first pitch and that was fouled to the left the Empire is getting out of the way as Schmid makes the catch there's ad Garcia he's 0 for two he was intentionally walked last time see we can do here this slider 85 on the radar gun 0 and one let's see what the next pitch will bring Pitch live drive up power not almost got full but he was able to keep keep his composure one in ball and no strik so far grounded foul didn't even move he just knew it was foul one ball strike and dude do I look like a guy's Chopper uhoh he's out just stepped on the B and got it eighth in we go holding on to a five nothing lead still swinging and a miss check that bat might have a hole in it oh and one that next pitch is strike two got two strikes on him and there is the pitch swing in a miss good curve ball by Heeney Y and Rie Jackson is up Pitch strike one one got one strike on him pitch GL D Seager makes the catch on the line and now here's willly St 042 so far pitch Fly ball left field Carter is going under need this one and he will make the catch we're going to the bombom of the E holding a final lead so far there's nael low at the pl facing Gaylord Perry and there's the pitch slider dipped up a y before knew oh and one that's a one strike so far uhoh Lo to the left field he hit second home R of the game yes he did Nathaniel low the man of the hour with his second home run of the game pretty awesome and that's going to make it 60 he hit two home runs a three- home run and now a solo home home run give him the MVP hany or something two outs now Pitch live drive base hit center field we're going to run and keep running and he's going to go to third third and runn on first runners in the corners so faaris gets on now this guy is I'm sorry Sim but he's over four not looking good uhoh all right get there boom well we tried to run over the catcher but that didn't work that didn't exactly work in the favor I wanted to but hey we try bam if I wanted to make those guys op I would have made them super big anyway we're going to the ninth inning holding a 6-0 lead so far and just like that we have on one there is the pitch fouled off fouled away and we got two strikes two strikes now there's the pitch swing Miss he done he done got two strikes through strike and now this guy the only guy that got a hit only one there's the Pitch live Drive no I hate that second hit of the game for them and that was side the same guy [Music] too and Pitch bre one a lot of and there's the next pitch Fly ball to right field Garcia is going to have to see if he get that one and he will not get to that one fouled away and two strikes fun fact about Joe Morgan he actually used to play for the Astros and he gets caught looking for the third time he gets struck out so we got two outs here and the heroes are down last out and it's all down to this a six something lead so far and it was a v very intense game we didn't think we gonna get anywhere until we finally rally here in the in the six so let's get him right here 02 got to look at strike three the best way to end the game is on strike three and it was on the corner and that's how you end the game Andrew Heeney gets the win and of course J gets the loss but what a game we Face Legends and we still won despite them holding us hit L for several
