well um I want to start by saying first thank you thank you so very much and you know when I started this campaign 13 months ago it was clear to most people who were watching that why are you run why run it's already been decided who's going to win why spend time going to people's doorsteps why spend time doing any of this stuff because it's already guaranteed the first quarter got outraged doubled up by $100,000 after that got outraged a little bit more but we kept plugging away yeah we did and the most amazing thing about it was is that we had folks who jumped on board when maybe it wasn't the smartest thing to do politically they put their names on this campaign the people who serve in elected office the people who have served an elected office Mayor Taylor it was because people believed in something a little bit better yes and they thought we do things just a little bit differently and so I am proud to have been a candidate that that kind of cast a vision for the future but the people in this room made everybody else believe that's [Applause] so uh Karen Brent and I we're this close right now we're this close which means we got a long road ahead so and so we we always knew it may be a long road ahead just never forget not only do we have the best campaign not only do I believe that I'm the best candidate yes we but we collectively are trying to do something that has never been done before and sometimes history takes a little bit more time to make right right and so I hope that you're as energized as I [Applause] am I hope that you're as proud as I [Applause] am and I hope that you're ready to get up tomorrow ready to fight [Applause] KN because November be here before you know it what do we know about November we win better win no is all about making history [Applause] my
