good evening Andy and congratulations on your first win as a national league manager and T's first win of the season was it deserved uh I think it probably was it could have gone all the way at times couldn't it they had some chances today to be fair probably I would say they probably created more chances than some of the other teams have that we haven't beaten so it was one of them sort of games but I thought we took our goals well I thought we had other chances and I think over the first five games I think we've deserved a victory and it's come today yeah it's nice to be getting that first win isn't it but the previous two home games we probably felt we deserved more out of yet we didn't get we got a solitary point from those two so it kind of evens out you like to think over the season it does even itself out I thought say against Sutton I thought we definitely should have won I I think last week against Harley po we certainly should have got something we didn't um but that's football today so they've created some chances we we've scored a couple of great goals um yeah and it's let's say swings them around abouts but a great three points they obviously two games close together over Bank Hol weekend Boston and then today uh changes were made some would have been out of choice some of would have been enforced um but how do you feel that those changes went overall with they Justified yeah I think so I think we've got a squad of players and when the games are that close we have to mix it up and use the legs that we've got because you know look at certain players and the shifts they put in it's impossible to do it twice in that amount of time and the way we play It's All About high energy and High Press so you've got to be running around a lot uh we made a couple of changes um and I think in general most of them came off yeah it giving you a bit of a headache looking looking forward to Barnet next Saturday well one thing I'm learning I think this league is so so different I think it's literally picking a team for each occasion and looking at the strength we were playing against him whether we need good legs or whether we can go direct Etc so yeah I mean some I've been over the years I've been less you know keep a winning team and but I think we have to judge each game as it comes this year probably more so than ever before yeah now with the incident to uh Tyler Frost I think it was a dislocated finger but it was on the pitch for what 20 minutes of Addy time all told and I don't know personally I can't recall a match where I've witnessed that amount of injury time but it seemed to favor Al the shot more than ourselves yeah I think there was always going to be a lot of time anyway and obviously that made it a lot longer um I was very mindful of that um like I said he was down for a long time so there was a long stoppage and that's part of it you've got to play the a lot of minutes so it was always going to be a nervous time because we're looking for that first Victory um and them to then get a goal which they always got like they could do in a you know fantastic free kick their hit um it makes it nervous time but at the end of the day it's you know we've got over the line that that was a massive thing to get over the line like I said the extra minutes didn't make it any easier definitely not Andy I dare say there won't be too many games where we score three goals at this level um hope I'm wrong but I think we've said that previously that you know you're just at a level now where it's unlikely to happen very frequently like it asked on in previous season so let's just reflect on those I mean the first one pinpoint corner from KL Finn great headed by Jordan second one Chris great great finish across the keeper and Nathan shakun a pick it a bunch surely what are your thoughts on those goals I thought all three were brilliant and all at Key times like I said Jordan he won so many headers he won these individual battles certainly in the posing penalty area he was a massive threat U and we knew we could do that with a long throw and they set pieces had to delivery had to you know I said we need to learn from Boston's delivery on Saturday which was fantastic undefendable ball so if you put a ball in the area with the players who've got as a chance finish put a great ball in uh and Jordan scored a good goal and I thought we caused a lot of problems in there uh again similar to the throw but like the two second half goals are both fantastic strikes um I was pleased for the two of them because I thought Christen just score his goal I thought he worked really tirelessly as as I expect him to do as they all do so I think he was just say knif had an assist before that and then is it an absolute peer so and again I thought we looked like we could always get another one if I'm being honest um but yeah fre goals we're not going to do that loads of times but why not you know we've got good players in our team we've got good deliver from set pieces we've got a good long throw walk out Do It um for me now I want to get lot to start trying to get some clean sheets yeah but well we haven't achieved it yet have we no that's their next REM we need to get a clean sheet because then you've all got you know but they're tough games don't get wrong we've playing against a lot of good teams who work on stuff all the time so I'm very aware of the Sask ahead of us but like I said we'll take the three points today and we'll look at the footage and we'll try and move on and you know be even harder to break down next week and let's just wrap it up with um you know looking at the five games that we're in uh to the National League I know you obviously say we don't even look at the league table till 10 12 games which is fair enough but you know Five Points from five games we've got four points from the last two over the bank holiday you must be pretty happy with where we're at yeah I think I think we've equipped ourselves as I thought we would um I think we could easily have had more points than we've got if I'm being really really honest um but we haven't but I think the first win was massive today um I've looked at the teams we've played there some good teams you can definitely see the in standard from last year in my opinion um but yeah after five games I think we've played some good teams I look at you know I don't look at the league table as in where you are particularly but you obviously naturally you do look at who's playing who and what's going on and like I said we've played some good teams and we've been in most of the games right up to the last minute which is as you know is what I always like us to be even at York it was 2-0 but we had a couple of half chances and you never know um that's a remit um five games gone we've had a good look at teams I think we'll learn more about ourselves as well as we go on so yeah quite happy okay well on to Barnet now next Saturday and sodal this National League business isn't it yeah toughing at the next two Barnet and then uh eastley away two teams that are both going really really well both away from home so you know we're going to have to look at fory we're going to have to be ready for those and they're are all challenges out there you look at there's not any easy fixes there um you know I look at some of the results today some of strange results teams can beat each other um we just got to worry about ourselves and we take it one g a time like I said we can enjoy today I think it's important for the club in general not just the players but everyone connected to enjoy our first victory at this level you know we've worked hard to get it and to get that three points is great it was nice to do it at home um and then we got train Thursday look at all the footage we've got onb it and get focused and try and get a result well okay Andy congratulations again and thank you as always for your
