Canelo Alvarez vs Edgar Berlanga: Fight Prediction

good evening there everybody what is happening hopefully y all are having a wonderful day today so when it comes down to it I thought of course that I would give finally my little fight prediction my fight preview and my final fight analysis of the Canelo Alvarez versus Edgar banga fight card and I'm going to be predicting or at least somewhat predicting and analyzing three of these fights while we watch the gloves off episode one and of course the three fights that we're going to be talking about here even though actually this whole entire card is relatively good is of course going to be the Canelo Alvarez versus Edgar banga fight we're going to be talking about the aerison Laura versus um Danny Garcia fight and of course the Caleb plant versus Trevor mccum fight all these fights other than the Canelo Alvarez versus Edgar banga fight in my view they're you know a little bit more difficult to analyze but I do have a favorite in my personal view of who's going to win all these fights and of course even on the undercard before those we have Roy Romero returning I don't know who he's gonna fight but we'll see how he returns and we also have Mr ston Cool Boy fton returning which I'm also particularly interested to see him return to see how good he's going to be because he has not fought ever since the inway loss and that was a very devastating and a very dominant loss that he took against Mr NOOA inway and I'd be interested to see ston fting back in the ring maybe against certain guys like Jesse bamb bam Rodriguez once he finally moves up and weight or even junto nakatani but talking about naoya in way next the fight that I would love to see in way in next of course is going to be against junto nakatani but it seems like he's either going to get in the ring with that one uh usbekistan fighter MJ or whatever the hell his name is or uh Sam Goodman the Australian fighter and then afterwards it appears that they're going to try and set up the inaway versus junto nakatani fight but inway has stated overall that he would love to see his brother Tuma in way I believe or whatever his name is fight that of junto nakatani the weight class below at8 lbs I believe and that's a perfect setup you know make that a unification fight between inay's brother and junon nakatani and of course more than likely junon nakatani in my view would probably win that fight then you have inaway versus junto nakatani in the spring that would be the perfect setup in my personal view but anyways let's get straight into it we're going to predict and we're going to get into the Canelo Alvarez versus Edgar a breakdown let's get straight into it all right ladies and gentlemen crowd lead representing Brooklyn New York The hard-hitting Undefeated Edgar berlanga and now oroso Guerero deara halisco meico sa Canelo [Music] Al in boxing it's not just skill and strategy that Define a battle sometimes it's the smoldering flames of Bad Blood I'm excited now I don't want to have compassion for him he needs 20 like him to give me a little problem from that raw tension something that seems impossible can manifest in an instant at the end of the day he's going in there to try to take my life and I got to do the same and we not going to end up like that [ __ ] over there I got knocked out take easy I'm going to I'm going to take care for you you know Canelo Alvarez one thing one thing I one thing I'll give him credit for is this is that Canelo Alvarez once he started to learn a little bit of the English language let me tell you what he he put it to good use this man overall has pretty good jokes this man you know he's put his English overall to the best of his years Canelo said overall don't don't worry Caleb I I I take care of him for you I'm I'm gonna whoop his ass and I'll tell you what Canelo he's got jokes on September 14th one I promised you Kayla stands to defend his legacy the other will look to cement his just getting into the fight overall first of all let's talk about the first fight overall between animistic Canelo Alvarez and that of Edgar banga and then I'm going to talk a little bit about Caleb plan versus that at Trevor mccom because of course Cale plan he kind of came up in a little bit of a fraction there I believe that he's the third fight that's going to be happening on this card but talking about Canelo Alvarez versus Edgar berlanga who do I personally believe is going to win that fight and why I of course believe that Canelo Alvarez is going to win I think Edgar berlanga is a relative good talent but I don't think that he's an a grade level fighter I think that haime mongia was an a grade level fighter at least an A minus level fighter with pretty good significant Talent even though he had faults of course I think the Jamal Charlo win of course course also was a a minus level win in my personal view Edgar banga in my view he just has way too many faults and of course the first 16 fights of his career I believe that he was 16 and0 and on top of that you know he had 16 Knockouts I believe within that of the first round but of course his last you know five fights I believe or six fights I believe overall that you know he's only had one knockout within his past six fights so even though Edgar banga of course is big and he's got a decent amount of power and of course he's talking trash overall like a regular Puerto Rican from New York yo let me tell you what Edgar banga reminds me so much of some of my Puerto Rican friends up in New York from the Bronx all all those guys do all the living long damn day is just talk [ __ ] all the living long damn day and have either a Puerto Rican flag or a mini pair of Puerto Rican boxing gloves hanging from their rearview mirror inside their car Edgar berlanga is the regular Puerto Rican from New York at least I came across but of course I love some of those guys some of those guys are some of my best friends up there in New York so shout out to some of the bodas up there in New York but anyways when it comes down to it once again I just don't think that Edgar belanga I don't think that he's going to have enough uh overall of the boxing ability to beat that of Canelo Alvarez I just don't think that he's going to I think that he's way too hitable I think that to be quite honest with you that he has not shown a great ability to fight in a multitude of ways and I think that even though the power is there I don't think that it's going to be quite as significant as what it has been in some of the other fights I'm not really quite sure if he has the same level of power as that of Aime mongia now that may be debatable but there's a reason overall or at least a partial reason why Edgar belanga has went to decision against certain Fighters that he probably should have not in his past six fights so either one of two things is going on either a your power is not quite as good overall as once upon a time we thought that it was or B your boxing ability is not really up to the task maybe a little bit of both I think that Edgar banga more than likely is an a great level puncher but he's not the level of puncher that he's going to have to be in order to threaten Canelo Alvarez he's not a Gennady Golovkin you know type of puncher or anything like that in my view at least for his particular weight class and in order for Edgar banga to be a really really huge shat that's the type of puncher that he would have to be because he does not have the boxing ability to beat Canelo at least not a very good or great version of Canelo and I still expect a great version of Canelo but once again you never know because Canelo is starting to age as a fighter he's been Aging for the past three years going to see going to see going to see I'm going [ __ ] you easy take it easy way because you where does he rank on that list he's nothing compared to them the defender of this Crown is Saul Canelo Alvarez a living legend you know Puerto Rico is still kind of trying to find their footing in terms of who the next all-time great Puerto Rican fighter is they really haven't had an all-time great fighter from that at Puerto Rico pretty much ever since that am Miguel Cotto I mean maybe if you want to count someone like a Danny Garcia he is a two-way Division champion he's a guy that uh you know of course he's had he's had his bouts and of course Danny Garcia um you know ironically enough he's going to be on this card against Adavan Lara the Cuban fighter uh two of my favorite fighters to watch actually of this past Generation The Generation that I grew up in we're going to talk about arisan Lara versus Danny Garcia as well that is the co Main Event so if Danny Garcia is able to become a three-way Division champion especially over someone that is a relatively great boxer like an aisan Laura his career may be looked at as a little bit differently and what I'll state is this I expect aisan larda more than likely win that fight I think that the size and on top of that the boxing IQ and the boxing ability I think that it's going to go in the favor of Lara but don't underestimate Danny Garcia because he is a relatively you know great boxer he's a guy that has won you know some of the bigger fights in his career of course he's lost some of the bigger ones as well like Thurman and Porter and Errol Spence but Danny Garcia is not a bad boxer and and one thing I will state is this sometimes Lura as great of a boxer as what he is you know and rig andow kind of had the same issue in the latter part of his career as well these guys are such great defensively sounded you know Fighters that sometimes they get a little bit too defensive for their own good sometimes they're on the back foot you know a little bit too much sometimes they worry a little bit more about guarding overall once again the attack than what they do really getting on the attack so Lara's got to be careful because that has cost him in certain fights it kind of cost him a little bit in the Canelo fight it cost him in the Brian gustano fight which was scored a split draw it cost him a little bit in the Jett herd fight but that being said I I give him a little bit of a break for Jett herd because it looked like a 154 pounder versus a super middleweight in there so I'm going to give Laura a little bit of a break for that and you can still debate that Lura won that fight but uh anyways but Laura Lura is going to have to be active in this fight I predict that more than likely that he will be but if Danny Garcia ended up pulling off the upset I wouldn't be Shell Shocked either but I'm going to give Lara a 70% chance to win the fight I do predict him to win either by that of unanimous decision or by that of knockout but I'm going to go with unanimous decision because um you know Laura uh you know on top of that one thing I have to give Danny is that Danny has an excellent chin Danny has actually never been knocked down before for those of you that don't know at least from what I know and on top of that Danny Garcia he has one hell of a chin shakable unforgiving and unchallenged yoell verus Mexico I'm going to [ __ ] you up but now he stands against Edgar bonga the chosen one from New York streets with fists of dynamite and a heart on fire I work hard for bonga this is more than a fight it's a vow a promise Written in Blood to seize his Destiny F that [ __ ] first round oh once again Edgar banga reminds me so much he reminds me so much of some of my friends up in New York you know this dude loves to talk so much [ __ ] but let's see once again you know if he can walk the walk in this fight he's already talked to talk let's see if he can walk the walk let's see if he can give Canelo Alvarez some problems I don't think that he's going to give Canelo Alvarez as much problems but you know what we'll see because sometimes when a fighter has pressured Canelo you know he has had a little bit you know of an issue kind of like in the John Ryder fight we'll see but you know Canelo at the same time also you know he he knows how to handle that especially when he really knows how to adjust and adapt like that against Hae mongia because mongia also tried to pressure Canelo Alvarez and Canelo I thought won that fight about nine rounds to three that was an excellent fight to sleep Canelo you have accomplished pretty much everything in the sport what keeps you motivated he kind [ __ ] oh oh my goodness why risk harm against a Relentless Predator going [ __ ] you up well listen at the end of the day people will say why take a risk against a Relentless Predator um they're trying to hype this fight up but listen at the end of the day this is not really the main fight that everybody asked for the main fight that everybody asked for was him versus David benovitz but Canelo Alvarez I don't think is going to take that fight unless he gets paid out the wazu and on top of that Canelo wants to be remembered as one of the greatest fighters ever and in my view he is one of the greatest fighters ever but Canelo wants to be remembered debatably as at least one of the top 10 fighters of all time at at the at a possible you know minimum that's that's what he wants to be remembered as and uh in my view you know there's some arguments possibly that Canelo could be there because of his accomplishments he definitely is at least within my top 30 to top 20 I have them right there with Fighters like Bernard Hopkins and Andre Ward and Joe cagi and you know probably like Fighters like Lennox Lewis and other stuff like that I would put them on the same level as some of those guys in my personal View um but I would I would have to take a look at my list I I don't really have a official flushed out alltime great list but I would say that Canelo in my view that he's about on the same level as those guys so Canelo you know he's he's definitely pretty high on my you know all time grades pound-for-pound list but the thing is is that this is not the fight that everybody wanted to see so you know certain people of course are trying to phrase this uh you know as Edgar banga that you know he's this killer and all the sort of stuff well banga is a young lion you know he's a guy that you know of course um he's very powerful and of course he's bigger than Canelo but in terms of the boxing ability nowhere near you you just going to make me laugh why Risk Legacy against a rising star going knock you the [ __ ] out I want to see that well Edgar belanga was a rising star but to be quite honest with you Edgar banga star has kind of been a little bit more on the burnout as of late because once again he's not really been super impressive ever since he stepped up in level of competition in fact I believe overall that there's even been certain people that believe that he lost certain fights in his career like against that of a Steve rolls now to be fair I I didn't really watch those fights in completion so I can't tell you but I did watch a little bit of the Steve rolls fight and let me tell you what Edgar belanga was expected to do a lot better in that fight than what he actually did I want to see that because this is King Canelo Canelo when I talk sh what what you want to do [ __ ] you what you want to do all right you no fear no retreat no surrender only a champion proving why the crown rests on his head [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Applause] m [Music] that was a very interesting fight once again that fight that Canelo Alvarez had against Miguel Cotto there um that was really kind of a Changing of the Guard uh when it came down to it and Cotto was a little bit older there I believe that he was about 34 35 years old by the time that he had fought Canelo Alvarez um but Cotto was looked at as a refurbish fighter at that point in time and um you know of course that was when he was with Freddy roach and on top of that also the WBC uh in ring middleweight champion um so that actually was looked at as a very great fight at the time in a 50-50 level fight so people of course try to phrase that fight now as if Miguel Cotto was just some bum at that point in time no he wasn't some bum now if you want to state that he was older that's true if you want to state that you know maybe he wasn't quite at the same spot as what he used to be I mean you can claim that if you want to but the man you know still very clearly was a decent level boxer and he probably would have been top 20 pound per pound at that given moment in time so I give Canelo Alvarez you know still a minus level credit at least for beating that Amigo Cotto um of course Cotto was obviously a little bit smaller as well uh not only in terms of height but also in terms of uh you know clearly the weights as you can see there but uh you know the thing is is that um Cotto is one of the more skilled boxers that I've ever seen and canalo was pretty much able to clearly out box him uh that's one of that's one of the times where you could truly start to see Canelo Alvarez really grow as a pure boxer and that was uh you know probably like the fourth eight- grade level win in his career because at that time you know he had really not fought uh you know that many eight grade level Fighters you know one of the commentators on my channel that comments on my Canelo videos every once in a while Mr dantra I had a live um video yesterday and we were talking about when Canelo Alvarez lost to that of a Floyd mayor the Jr and he said well you know you're stating that Canelo wasn't at his absolute prime or at least not at his Peak when he fought Floyd uh you know he had 44 fights how are you not at your Peak you know are you saying that Canelo fought a bunch of bums well you know Canelo really didn't fight a whole lot of aade level Fighters really before he got to Austin Trout and this is what I've been stating um canelo's resumee uh before he got to that of Austin Trout there was no legitimate a-grade level wins there so when I state that Canelo was not at his absolute Peak he was in his prime against Mayweather but he was wasn't at his absolute Peak yet that's not something that of course in my view is unfair to say now what is unfair to say is that you know overall oh Canelo would just completely knock out Mayweather now and you know Mayweather beat the worst version of Canelo that that that might be something that's a little bit unfair to say but um you know to state that Canelo Alvarez that he grew as a fighter as time went along no that's that's not something that is you know unwarranted to say whatsoever he did grow as a fighter and you could tell the more that he was facing a-g grade level Fighters the first eight grade level fighter was Austin Trout then after that it was Lura and then I think actually after that it was Migo Cotto so this probably was his third a grade win actually um so yeah no uh Canelo Alvarez this was this was one of the first fights where you could tell that he was really starting to grow as a fighter I think the first time that I actually seen him was against that of Chavez Jr but then this fight happened and he was really starting to grow as a fighter was when you reach the heights of Fame that Canelo Alvarez has achieved the spotlight comes with an unavoidable scrutiny everyone has an opinion and not all are kind while A Chorus of voices Demand showdowns with names like David benavites Canelo remains unfazed fully in control of his own path yes Canelo Alvarez is in control of his own path and listened to a certain degree Cano Alvarez with his long and illustrious career to a degree he does have the right to choose uh who he wants to fight but at the end of the day Canelo alas once again if he is going to hold the titles at the 168 pound weight class and if David Benitas and David Morel if they're going to fight there Canelo Alvarez is gonna have to try to fight those guys now David Benitas to be fair he he pretty much is a light heavyweight in Disguise as a super middleweight he really doesn't belong there whatsoever and just like I predicted a very long time ago when David Benitas is going to go up to the 175lb weight class he is not going to look like the same fighter and that's pretty much what happened against an Alexander vosic and a vosic by the way that was completely washed up when you talk about a fighter that is washed up it was you know there's a difference between for example like when Canelo fought Cotto and kovalev and maybe they weren't at the absolute peak of their career but they were still a minus level Champions at that point in time or a grade level Champions when Canelo still fought them versus say when a David benitz fought a vosic who was a former Champion never the same after the beat down that he suffered against better beef he was retired for about 3 years I believe when it came down to it then all of a sudden he comes back he defeats three bums overall he gets in the top 10 of the division you know it never defeated anybody not the same fighter nowhere near and David Benitas defeats him you know and then these same guys you know want to claim that oh well Benitas just beat a former Champion right he beat a former Champion that was completely done [Music] I agree Mr Canelo Al that you have mainly fought that of the best of the best in your career and that's why I give Canelo Al a lot of credit um now of course has every single fight that we've wanted to see happen in Canelo Alvarez's career no but at the end of the day I do have to give the man a lot of credit once again when you consider a grade level wins I consider these 11a grade level wins uh in canelo's career I consider Austin Trout an eight grade level win I consider Arison Laura an eight grade level win I consider Miguel Cotto an a grade level win I consider Gennady Golovkin in the rematch of course an a grade level win of course I thought Canelo lost the first fight but he Avenged himself in the rematch uh when it came down to it of course after that I considered uh you know Callum Smith in a grade level win Sergey the crusher kovalev in a grade level win Billy Joe Saunders in a grade level win uh Caleb plant an a grade level win um Jamal Charlo an a grade level win Hae mongia an a grade level win um and I think oh and and Danny Jacobs I forgot about Danny Jacobs Danny Jacobs an eight grade level win as well I believe that that's 11 eight grade level wins that I just listed off there those are the 11 fights in my view that Canelo deserves credit for for a grade level uh [Music] opponents for his 66 fight Canelo has selected a young hungry Challenger in edar bonga as with any bow nothing is ever guaranteed despite the difference in experience Canelo knows that on September 14th his three super middleweight BTS are at risk no matter what anyone says [Music] first of all I I fight for me because if not it's going it's not going to be the same you know you need to to take care about yourself and fight for you and then and then you take about everybody I agree with you Mr Canelo Alvarez and that's something overall that you know needs to happen in life in general that we cannot appease overall the people around us uh overall you know to such a great degree to where we're sacrificing what makes us happy uh or overall you know in order to in order to become their Perfect Image or you know in order overall to appease everyone else around us before we try to appease ourselves at the end of the day we have to create our own path uh you know and we have to worry about ourselves and our loved ones overall first before anybody else uh that being stated of course do I believe that Canelo is eventually going to have to try to get in the fights with Morell and David benovitz if they still participate at 168 yes of course so that's not an excuse to fight those guys but that being stated Canelo Alvarez I don't mind him asking for the amount of money to fight David benovitz because Canelo Alvarez still is right now the main face of boxing and when it comes down to it Canelo Alvarez says listen you need me more than what I need you so when it comes down to it at the end of the day uh if you want um you know to fight me you're going to have to pay me a lot because I know who David Benitas is supposed to be he's supposed to be my replacement and on top of that David benitz is going to be several in than me and 20 lbs bigger than me on Fight Night so you're going to have to pay me for that fight you know what I [Music] mean I'm not really quite sure if canel wver is going to get The Knockout but if there is going to be a knockout this is probably going going to be Canelo Alvarez's best chance to get a possible knockout of any fight that he's out of in the past several fights and certain people of course they've stated that you know Canelo Alvarez that you know he's not getting Knockouts anymore you know even against not that great a competition well Canelo is just old now Canelo is just getting older as a fighter the man is 34 years old but really he's about 37 or 38 uh because the man has fought now about 19 years in that of professional boxing and especially for the resume that he has for that of the past 10 years 10 plus years there's no other boxer of this generation that has fought the amount of names that Canelo Alvarez has fought so once again uh when it comes down to it Canelo Alvarez is just getting up there and when Fighters get up there they just don't have the same level of knockout ability anymore because they're starting to lose a little bit of their athleticism it just is what it is and in turn that's going to you know stop them from sometimes getting off certain counters or punches as fast as what they once did you know might even decreased a certain level of power but what I will state is this I I think that canel does have a great ability to possibly stop that at Edgar banga I'm going to predict overall that Canelo Alvarez wins this by latter round stoppage somewhere around you know rounds eight or nine but we'll see what ends up happening and what I will state is this I do predict in the beginning of the fight that Edgar banga does give at least Canelo Alvarez just slight amount of trouble I think that he might even win a couple rounds against that of Canelo Alvarez but I don't believe that he's going to win the fight I do think that Canelo is eventually going to drop him a couple times if not stop that at Edgar banga but the question is is that if he ends up doing that who the hell is going to be after this fight I agree with that Mr Canelo Alvarez I think that you know my prediction once again is that I think that Canelo eventually is going to get him out of there within eight or nine rounds maybe 10 but if it ended up going to unanimous decision once again I wouldn't be surprised because Canelo Alvarez of course he still has great power and some of the great stopping ability but especially against a grade level Fighters it's just going to be harder for him to do that now hard work discipline dedication Ain't No Limits Ain't No Limits e September 14 it's your time baby got that Puerto Rican cut too oh man I tell you what you know the American Puerto Ricans they've uh they've all had the same haircut that same square haircut for the past 20 years him Danny Garcia every other Felix vjo every other Puerto Rican that I've seen in America or that's came to America over they all have that they all have that square same square haircut talk the world take over kind of low like he likes when people respect him he feels like they his dog you know like yeah I'm the guy that's getting you paid he's a guy that's cocky that he's arrogant you know and he's smiling in my face I was like [ __ ] you you want to smile in my face I'm going to smile in your face too edar banga in my view in order to win this fight he's going to have to show something that Canelo Alvarez that he has not shown any of his other opponents before I think that he's going to have to try to show a very good faint game he's going to have to try to jab now of course in one of the videos Edgar banga stated that one of the weaknesses that Canelo Alvarez may have is an elite level jab and and that is going to be the ability or that is going to be a way that you can somewhat stop Canelo is if you can use your feet to move in and out and on top of that you can find a way to kind of push him back a little bit I think that you're going to have to do a little bit of both but the thing is is that I just don't know if Edgar Bango really has an elite level ability to move the feet around the ring and at times out box Canelo and then at times push him back a little bit or at least move in and out in terms of an elite level way I just don't think that he has the type of feet for that you know he shuffles his feet and on top of that they can be a little bit clunky at times he's just a little bit too hitable and I don't think that I don't think he has anywhere near the level of opponent experience to really beat Canelo and if he does end up beating Canelo more than likely it's because Canelo was pretty much done where we from we don't respect bck homies I don't care if he got all those titles I'm not going to give you respect you know what I'm saying cuz I W your spot you already made your your plays in boxing you know what I'm saying and everybody knows it everybody's tired of him coming with the same same stuff same now they want to see something different they want to they want to bring that flu energy back you know I'm not saying that I'm Floyd but I'm a I'm a guy that people want to turn on the TV just to see me you know what I'm saying like right now Amazon Prime is going to be on [ __ ] fire once this video goes out you know they're going to want to see belanga regardless of whatever they say they could talk most [ __ ] they're going to say whatever they're going to pay to see me either win or lose and I don't care as long as you pay to watch me it is what it is man I got to go out there and I got to do my job and I got to win right but EGA banga you're not really a super huge star at the end of the day you know once again you were on the uprising and a lot of people not even just the Puerto Rican fan base but you know or the American Puerto Rican fan base not only were they paying attention to you but pretty much all of us were paying attention to you because it appeared like you were going to possibly be a main threat for guys like haime mongia and David benitz but then of course once you started stepping up in the level of competition you started overall being the decline a little bit and there's really no offense against you dude but it's like at the end of the day the last time that I pretty much seen you in a couple of fights you were struggling very badly against b or CG grade level Fighters so Edgar belanga I mean you know I get it he should have a high degree of confidence in himself as we all should we should all believe that we have high level value and that we uh have a great ability in order to accomplish things but just from my perspective and just talking about it on a real note at the end of the day Edgar banga people are not looking at you as a major Superstar I mean they might recognize you and they might find this fight somewhat particularly interesting but you know I'm not quite sure how well this fight is going to do I assume that it's going to at least do 300,000 to 350,000 pay-per-view buys anywhere from that to 500,000 pay-per-view buys but you know once again this is not really a fight that a lot of people wanted to see and it's because Edgar banga people know that he is nowhere near on the same level as a Canelo in fashion and look good you know and that's my main goal I want the whole world to know who belanga is [Music] one minute one minute drop it for Edgar bonga Destiny isn't random but something you call upon something you manifest calling himself chosen means he's not just part of the story he's the one writing it you know I don't want this to be a oneand Wonder you know what I'm saying where I get my first shot and it's like oh yeah he fought a right fight but you know he lost now that's not our game plan you know I know that of course it should never be your game plan overall once again you have to come into the fight believing that you're going to win and banga looks like you know he's trying to practice the art of you know speaking it into existence or you know uh you know before I even believe in myself I'm going to try to make myself believe it or maybe he truly does believe that he can beat Canelo um but unfortunately for you uh Mr banga I just don't think that you have anywhere near the boxing ability you're going to have to really show me something that I have never seen uh overall once again from you in the boxing ring before I need to see better feet I need to see an ability to move in and out a little bit better especially with your feet have an elite elite level jab better defensively um not get so reckless at times you know within the fight and it's just going to be interesting because I don't know how he's really going to react once Canelo Alvarez really starts to hit him because when Canelo Alvarez you know when that level of power is going to hit you especially to the body or if he cracks you with a good left hook it's going to be a different level of power than what banga has ever felt in his career before I just think that Canelo is going to be way too much for him he's a guy that has a lot of experience you know so I got to be on my my aame that night you know I can't slip up I can't make mistakes I want to be that Mega star I'm from New York I'm Puerto Rican like I'm handsome and I can fight I got everything on I want to boy I tell you what Edgar banga is a character I'm a legend man in the sport and I just want to take over the world man I just Bo I want to take over the world it's not just bravado it is a mission statement the unmistakable Drive the propelled berlanga to this fight at the Pinnacle was evident from his Pro debuta he didn't just step into the ring he exploded onto the scene one devastating punch at a time 16 fights 16 first round Knockouts each one a statement about the future of the sport all these fights that I was catching these first round knockos literally like you go put a brick wall in front of me and I'll break that [ __ ] down like I keep punching it and I'll break it down right but then Mr Ed banga in your last six fights once again you've only gotten one knockout so once so once again you know I mean the level of power clearly is is you know there I think that he has a great level power but either one of two things is going on like I said either a your level of power is not as great as what some people try to say that it is including you or B you clearly have some major holes in your boxing ability or your boxing IQ and I think that it's a little bit of both I don't think that he has A+ level power I think that he probably has a grade level power but the thing is is that his boxing ability and his boxing IQ just seems to be somewhat lacking you know and I don't think that he's anywhere near ready for a Canelo a fight nowhere near nowhere near the experience nowhere near the ability I don't have to have the big muscles I don't have to have crazy sixpack I'm actually gifted I'm just strong you broke the back broke it broke that [ __ ] that's like ah this dude talks so much [ __ ] but once again sir let's see over how you're going to react once Canelo Warez starts Landing some of those body shots and starts slamming some of some of those left hooks on you you know and it's a little bit hard to hit Canelo alvare Canelo is an excellent defensive fighter it's one of the greater defensive Fighters that I've ever seen you know especially overall with the way that you know he can move uh overall then slip punches and shoulder roll and you know counter back overall you know I think that Canelo Alvarez is really going to try and work the body of Edgar banga pretty much like what he regularly does I seen it against haime mongia as well the question is about Edgar banga is once again how well is he going to be able to move his head and use his feet to get in and outside of the range and I just don't think that Edgar banga is that type of fighter and I'm hitting him boom and his head is squaring out blood no fear in my eyes man we'll see about that once again come this weekend sir he's the pride of walara the Mexican Maestro the unified super middleweight champion of the world Canelo Alvarez his Challenger undefeated knockout artist and pride of Puerto Rico Edgar belanga it's prime time time Canelo versus berlanga plus Lura versus Garcia Saturday September 14th live on PBC Pay-per-view on PR [Music] video but any that pretty much is about it nice little video I Believe by that of Premier Boxing Champions or whoever ended up doing this yeah PBC Premier Boxing Champions but in terms of my prediction who do I believe or you know who do I believe is going to win the fight and who do I believe are going to win the fights this coming weekend I believe that can Alvarez is eventually going to be able to stop that of edar belanga or is at least going to be able to beat him you know in my personal view I think that overall that uh Edgar banga I just I just think that he's excuse me I think that he's way too hitable and I don't think that he has the type of boxing ability nor the experience to beat Canelo Alvarez I think that there's a possibility that maybe berlanga will give him a little bit of problems within the first two to four rounds you know Canelo also you know in order to save his stamina he likes to Pace himself and on top of that he of course likes to download data pretty much like any alltime great boxer to see what you're really going to do how you react to certain fanss and how you react to certain shots and what your main game plans are going to be in order overall once again for him to react and deliver certain punches and a certain plan of attack you know so once again we'll see what happens but I think that Edgar belanga will have his most luck within the first couple of rounds after that I do believe that more than likely that Canelo Alvarez is going to start to get to him I think that Canelo Alvarez I think that you know he may even start breaking him down but we'll see I wouldn't be surprised if Canelo Alvarez actually let Edgar berlanga kind of chase him throughout this fight I wouldn't be surprised at all if Canelo was a little bit more on the back foot but I I predict more than likely that Canelo Alvarez that he's going to be a little bit more on the back foot for the first couple of rounds and then I think that more than likely that he's going to start going forward a little bit and starting to break Edgar banga down then I think that Edgar belanga that he might get a little bit of a second win I think that you know he might try to come back a little bit but I think eventually Canelo is going to catch him and I think that eventually he's going to stop him so I predict more than likely a Canelo Alvarez stoppage within about anywhere from8 to 10 Rounds more than likely somewhere around eight or nine I just think that Edgar banga is going to be way too hitable I think that the body attack of Canelo Alvarez is going to be way too much but what would be my advice to Edgar berlanga in order to beat Canelo Alvarez use your feet to get in and out use a constant jab keep your hands up do not get too Reckless do not get too wild you know and really try to make Canelo Alvarez work expect him to get in a little bit of a different fight other than just constantly pressuring him cuz pretty much what I've seen from edar banga it isn't like he doesn't have any boxing ability whatsoever but at the end of the day Edgar belanga he mainly is out of a pressure fighter and I'm not really quite sure how good he is on the back foot or using his feet to get in and out I don't think that he's going to have anywhere near the amount of jab traps or the amount of pull counters that Canelo Alvarez is going to have and I think that Canelo Alvarez is going to out counter him the whole entire night I think that in the first part of the fight that is going to be a little bit harder than what some people expect you know Canelo Alvarez may even potentially carry that of edar banga to make the fight a little bit more entertaining but I think that eventually Canelo Alvarez will get him I don't know if I see Canelo Alvarez really fighting in the middle of the Ring the whole entire time against banga I think that that wouldn't be advisable but I do think that there's going to be moments where Canelo is on the back foot outboxing him and I think you know may be up a little a little bit against the ropes and on top of that I think there's going to be moments where he goes a little bit forward if there is a moment where Canelo is going to go a little bit more forward it's going to be more than likely anywhere from rounds 3 to six somewhere from there or around three to five more than likely that's probably when he's going to start pressing on the gas you know and then there's going to be moments where I think that Edgar belanga that you know he is going to finally believe that he has to fight back in order to beat Canelo and I think that you know he might start to have a little bit of success against Canelo you know in order for Canelo to finally land that good shot but I think that Canelo eventually is going to set him up and catch him that's what I personally think is going to happen so I'm I'm going to have Canelo Alvarez by knockout or stoppage within about that of 8 to 10 Rounds or 8 to nine rounds that's that's what I'm going to have here but um we'll see what happens we'll see as for the other fights you know Caleb plan versus Trevor mccum that's actually an interesting fight because a lot of people they uh you know overall they um don't really know what to expect you know or a lot of people you know they think that Kaleb PL is just going to beat Trevor mccum easy what I'll actually state is this Trevor mccum does not come across to me uh overall as is a very bad fighter he actually is a little bit Slicker and a little bit more skilled than what I once originally thought that he might be but the thing is is that it's very hard to give an analysis of him because the man has pretty much just fought tomato cans for his whole entire career I don't know one fighter on his record I don't know one top rank guy on his record and Caleb plan of course has fought some top ranked guys that being stated when I was rewatching footage to make the fight predictions of you know these fights you know when I took a look at Trevor mccumby versus that of uh or excuse me Caleb plan versus Anthony derell you know there was a little bit you know more slippage than what I thought there was with Caleb plan after that Canelo Alvarez fight honestly he looked like he was getting hit way too much and it's not like kayb plan has ever been you know a major defensive Master but he was usually a little bit better defensively within the past before that Canelo Alvarez fight it looked like he slipped up a little bit you know which also once again goes to show you that you know how good of a fighter he can be because he still gave David benovitz a very tough fight you know overall after that Alvarez knockout loss but I believe that Caleb plant more than likely is going to win either by decision or lad round stoppage against that of Trevor mumi I'll go with a stoppage by Caleb plant more than likely you know probably uh somewhere arounds eight or nine kind of like the Canelo banga you know fight card but we'll see because the thing is is once again I don't know what to think of mumi I don't know how good his chin is I don't know how good he's actually going to be in the biggest fight of his career um you know we'll see what ends up happening there but that pretty much is going to be a good fight um because mumi we don't know how good he actually is he is a good L pressure fighter he does have some power but I think that Caleb plant speed and his boxing ability and his ability to use his feet and move around the ring I think that more than likely that's going to get to mumi and I think that more than likely that's going to make Caleb plan Victorious either by that aad round stoppage or either by that unanimous decision either way but I also wouldn't be surprised that this fight went to split decision I wouldn't be at all I wouldn't be surprised honestly if Trevor mccum ended up winning the fight but uh we'll see what happens once again because it's hard to make an analysis when that fighter just really has not fought anybody but he's not a bad fighter and one thing I do notice is that he likes to go to the body a little bit early especially with that right cross Caleb plant is going to have to come up with the counter to that and he's going to have to try to counter the body attack early and it's going to be interesting because Caleb plant does wear down a little bit in fights but keep that jab on them keep moving around do not stay up against the ropes that's what I would advise to Caleb plant you know because Trevor K is going to do that that's his game is to get you up against the ropes and pretty much beat the hell out of you that body if CB plant stays too much on the ropes for the whole entire fight he very well may lose against Trevor mccum he is going to have to really stand his ground sometimes back this guy up do not be afraid to pop him either with a good right Cross or a left hook sometimes Trevor mccum can get caught throwing combinations you know or throwing mid combination getting a little bit too wild and a little bit too Reckless so we'll see what ends up happening but honestly L that's that's kind of a 60/40 fight in my view I'm giving it to Caleb plant because of his experience and because of his speed and his ability to move around the ring and his slickness but I would not be surprised at all if Trevor mcum ended up winning that fight because he is an undefeated fighter and even though he's kind of taken a little bit of a layoff he you know he probably has more confidence in his brain than that of a Caleb plant now moving on to that of aerison Laura versus that of Danny Garcia and once again my prediction for the Caleb plant versus Trevor mccy fight I'm going to go with Caleb plant I'm going to say by latter round stoppage but we'll see what happens I wouldn't be surprised whatsoever if it went to split decision or unanimous decision wouldn't be surprised whatsoever but let's go now to aison Lara versus Danny Garcia I expect more than likely that aison Lara is probably going to win this by unanimous decision but Danny Garcia if he's going to win that fight he's going to have to pressure Lara the whole entire time he's going to have to pressure him the whole entire time he's going to have to go to a very early body attack in my view especially with those hooks if Lara does show the left cross try to get him to overextend you know duck down to your right you know and then overall catch him to the body that's what I would advise Danny Garcia um he's going to have to start off with a very early body attack kind of fight him like Brian gustano did which made Laura a little bit uncomfortable with the constant pressure and a little bit of the body attack a fight that Lura probably should have won when you talk about his fighting ability but Lara sometimes can get a little bit gun shy especially if you show that you're there to win so aasan Laura he does have a little bit of a problem with that but I do assume that the feat I assume that the reach which is going to be significant with 5 Ines I believe you know and on top of that the size and the power I think that it's going to get to Danny and I predict Daran lar to win that fight more than likely by unanimous decision wouldn't be surprised if it was a stoppage but I'm going to say unanimous decision because Danny Garcia has never been dropped before he's also never been stopped so we'll see what ends up happening there and if Danny Garcia did end up winning that decision is going to be because Lara is just nowhere near offensive enough and that you know he doesn't like that early on body attack and he's going to feel some of the hooks that Danny Garcia ends up landing and also what I will state is this if Danny ended up getting a knockdown within that fight I wouldn't be shocked either but I'm going to go with Lura by unanimous decision I think that more than likely that he's just going to be a little bit too big and a little bit too crafty even at 41 years old Laura has excellent power in that left hand that Danny is going to have to watch out for by the way because he doesn't always move his head or change levels to the best of degrees you know so he's going to have to be a little bit careful of that cuz Laura has a whopping left hand a whopping left hand in terms of a left cross especially so Danny's going to have to watch out for that um you know but I assume L to be on the back foot and move around the ring like what he regularly does and I assume for him to more than likely win by a decision but we'll see I have Caleb plan winning by that of a latter round stoppage or either by that a split decision against Trevor mccum and as for Canelo Alvarez I have him winning by a stoppage within about eight or nine rounds but we'll see what ends up happening but that pretty much is about it for today thank you all so much for watching I'll talk to youall later I have Canelo K the plant and also that of uh what's his name or Canelo I have Canelo Alvarez so Canelo Alvarez I have that of uh aerison Laura in the Cole main event and in the third fight I have that of um what's his name Caleb plant that that's who I have and then the fights you know of course you know before then I would have ston cool boy fton and also that of Roy Romero those would be my picks but we'll see as pretty much more than likely everybody's picks but that pretty much is about it for today thank you guys much of watching we'll see what happens and it should be a very interesting card and what's also going to be interesting is who is Canelo going to face after this that's going to be very particularly interesting as well because once again we need to see him uh in the ring potentially with someone in December who is he going to fight apparently from what I hear from one of my commentators there's talks about William skull there's talks about chrisy Bank Jr and there's talks about Jamal Charlo and I'm not sure if it's going to be Jamal Charlo I would love to see him in the ring with Jamal Charlo um but I don't think that that's a fight that's going to happen this December um so we'll see what ends up happening we'll see but anyways that pretty much is about it for today thank you all so much for watching and we'll see what ends up happening for this fight
