리비안 공장 화재 발생 | Rivian Automative's Third Fire This Year: Is RIVN Stock at Risk?

All right today We're going to talk about rivian because last night um They were in the headlines uh for something they definitely wouldn't want a fire broke out in one of the parking lots at their normal Illinois campus um so the incidents damaged several vehicles so fortunately the manufacturing plant itself wasn't impacted and no injuries were reported um the fire department responded pretty quickly and by Midnight the blaze was under control uh although you know it kind of looks bad right and AS We speak rivian is investigating the cause and if you've been following uh rivan uh you know this isn't the first fire uh they've dealt with Recently right uh earlier this year um Back In April there were two separate fires within four days uh one at a loading Dock and another under um an assembly line conveyor and while these incidents didn't cause any injuries they did disrupt operations temporarily and I think these recurring issues might raise some red Flags for investors especially since rivian is trying to rapidly scale up uh production right and speaking of production um you know rivian had a bit of a roller coaster year in the second quarter 2024 they delivered nearly uh one uh 13,800 vehicles Which was a slight uptake um from q1 but still lower than their peak late last year And this deep was largely due to PL shutdowns for fact upgrades aimed at improving efficiency The Good news was that these upgrades are expected to pay off in the second half of the year and with rivian sticking to 2024 production goal of 57,000 vehicles right 57000 total units of production and financially is still burning through cash but they're on a mission to turn things around um The company has been aggressively cutting cost and expects to hit ITS first Positive uh gross profit by the for quarter uh this year um that's a big deal for a company That's been you know losing Money On every vehicle it produces but the path to uh profitability is never straight forward 공장 셧다운 어 근데 이게 이런 업그레이드가 올해 하반기에 좀 성과를 낼 것으로 예상을 하고 있고 그리고 어 2024년 생산 목표인 5만 7천대를 달성 수 있을 것으로 회사측에서 보고 있습니다 그리고 재정적으로 봤을 때는 어 여전히 많은 자금을 소모가 있죠 소모하고 있죠 근데 어 이런 상황을 반전시키기 위해서 비용 절감을 위해 공격적인 조치를 취하고 있고 그리고 올해 4분기까지 어 수익성 흑자를 어 달성할 것으로 기대를 하고 있어요 근데 차량 한대당 손실을 보고 있는 회사 입장에서는 매우 중요한 일이죠 근데 이제 아무래도 이제 수익성을 달성하는게 길이 순탄하지 않기 때문에 이번 화재라는 생산 차질이 좀 변수로 작용할 수도 있을 것 같습니다 그래서 좀 신중하게 접근을 해야 되는데 월요일에 이제 어 장이 열리면 단기적으로는 좀 주가가 초기적 하락을 할 수도 있을 거 같아요 어 이런 화재가 지속적인 운영 리스크로 부각이 될 것이냐 이런 문제가 있을 거 같은데 근데 만약에 리비한 측에서 어 향후 사건를 방지하기 위해서 명확하게 뭐 어 행동 계획과 그리고 그리고 생산 목표를 재확인하는 등 강력하게 이제 대응을 하고 그렇게 한다면은 주가가 비교적 빠르게 안정화 될 수도
