the full crew back together once again Ramone Foster Kayla Anderson Robert wall shine wheel bowling 615 737 1045 is the number we have got the Titans initial official unofficial depth chart we react to that this morning with you taking a look at how many of the starters should play in pre-season and how long they should be out there Fest saw some price at 820 Ron SLE in his normal spot at 920 and NFL division previews continue with a division that well half of the show knows very well streaming live on 1045 The Zone TV Facebook live YouTube Twitter or twitch what's going on how we doing hey what's going on Good People welcome to the show yeah that was a interesting uh intro there by whatever voice from above was uh uh introducing us the new voice of the station big voice I heard a little bit last night it was uh different yeah yeah it takes some time Tak to get us it feels like the old E60 episode since he was the voice of E60 oh was he on ESPN guess is that voice does Atlanta Braves baseball too Braves radio network see sounds good A lot of these people men and female who do these voiceovers which by the way make a boatload of money doing that um they do crisscross a lot so you do see things from other networks and you're like where did I hear this voice before we heard it a lot in local TV where they would do our Pro like promos and stuff i' be like where have I heard this voice before and then you realize it's like a national thing big voice yeah no doubt about it so that makes sense that now I'm actually thinking about that it is E60 yeah that uh Burt in his cold opens right there is that what we call show opens cold opens which one are they show not be cold opens just show opens well since he's got such a cold heart I fig like we should call him cold open would be if we would start the show without any kind of intro music just doing the first segment that would be a cold open thank you big J journalist now I got full explanation of it thank you uh Happy Tuesday though good people man right back at I think the Titans are practicing today we can't be there but uh jog through today jog through today yogging we'll be there tomorrow though yeah there tomorrow they can somewhat uh start off this week like game prepping in a sense since it's like a Saturday night game like this will be huge for the rookies right here man understanding what the NFL week is like so they get Wednesday Thursday and probably have another walk through on Friday and treat Saturday like a game day man this is why preseason is also good because when you hit the regular season as a rookie oh my gosh like everything is sped up nobody's really talking because we're all on our same schedules and stuff I was terrified you hear me the first time I had to figure out how to get to the team playing without like all the rookies and how to get to the stadium Stadium security it's so many different ins and outs on this thing that they don't walk you through I feel like you guys go through first days of school like 16 times you know what I'm saying it's like first day of school at at at OTAs first day of school at mandatory mini camp then it's training camp then it's game day you know there's so many firsts it that you kind of get the little butterflies a little bit more than You' think being a rookie that's why I so uh I loved every every minute of the experience though too because when you do become a vet oh my gosh she just cruising through it's like oh you don't know how to do this exactly like no you idiot when you were like aior you're in high school you remember that you just like a joke to school well while many of you were likely asleep last night a report from NBC Sports Bay Area says the 49ers have negotiated the framework of Trades that would send Brandon iuk to the Browns or the Patriots did any good teams want him that's what I was wondering PSB br oh yeah Pittsburgh did huh yeah they just haven't talk to him or uh I don't know if I I think it's still open I think he wants yeah yeah no um apparently he wants to go to Pittsburgh and it's on him if he wants to sign a deal from what some reports I've seen now Money Talks oh yeah period okay and I think New England's got a big bag to work with and Cleveland will pay anybody that wants to go there and retire off of their Investments so there's always that is that bad to say a little bit uh the commanders have removed themselves from trade talks for auk the Steelers effectively are no longer an option according to this report after they declined to meet the 49ers demands sounds like a hostage situation so the 49ers gave permission to iuk to negotiate potential deals with the Browns Patriots commanders and Steelers according to this report the Browns would be in position to add auk if wide receiver Amari Cooper yeah was sent to the 49ers as part of the trade according to Mary K cabit of cleveland.com and then the Patriots had offer Kendrick Bourne as a part of the deal gosh why you say it like that what I didn't say say what and all they gotri I wanted Kendrick to come here this whole there's not much to offer back I think that's mostly part for the financials to to offset like with Amari Cooper like you would probably still see a very high draft pick change hands if UK went to Cleveland or the Patriots like that wouldn't offset the compensation as much as it would the financials yeah I mean we're looking at the AFC North coming up here in 10 minutes as we continue our division previews the Browns are kind of good like don't get me wrong can I say this the Browns are actually good at football Pap no they won they made the playoffs last year with Joe Flo exactly they're good that's the point hey B they were not going to make it without Joe FL they were five and one with deshun Watson and then he got hurt if if they didn't find a good backup they were not going to be good backup they went through two or three backups before getting the flacko off the couch like impressive and they don't have Flo now that's even more impressive B this is his first time huh this is his first time no I'm telling you on paper they're good I feel like I said that 18,000 you know who doesn't have impact on this Browns team past Browns teams I hate doing that especially in the NFL the same old like no they have a history of doing this will they're good on they're just later in the season don't like convincing us they've won the offseason this is what they do it is my job to lay out the facts and allow all of you to react to how you see fit I am laying out the facts on paper the Browns are good look they played some good football last year no doubt about it but you still have to criticize them right now because of how much money they paid Deshawn Watson all guaranteed and he continues to not be available now maybe that's not the case this year and then maybe we can go back and say besides will uh and say hey okay you told you told us they were going to be good but I will uh wait to be judging that situation we got to judge every situation I'm be real so we do I'm jumping out there I I don't think I think the Browns may end up finishing third in AFC North this year might still make the playoffs might still you're right you're right but here's the thing this is the same old Browns doing Browns like things to me they always will have had good players you know how many times they've gone into the season with high draft picks good free agency and a new head coach and do this thing over and I know stefansky is a little bit different and I know miles Garrett is that type of guy too and desan is finally healthy but is he I've always heard this about them so and they gonna have to make me believe it now I ain't saying you wrong of course I'm very I'm I'm being very anti Cleveland this morning I remember in 2019 when they were the offseason Champs the Titans put up what 45 on them and beat them one I'm familiar with their game I just don't care I know this team on paper is good they are good paper my biggest issue with them offensively is that both their book in tackles are still on pup and they lost Bill Callahan like their biggest issue last year was the injuries to the offensive line well now you don't have the guy to to bring in the reinforcements who where you can start a third offensive tackle you know what I mean you're still going to be starting guys off the street so I mean I I think they gotten worse actually over the off season I knew we weren't going to go at least the whole right here not talking about Mike Fel but he's not a CO I wasn't going to have that on my notes he's a harac toan that's all I mean was jamus you see a that's what it is you're you're a king jamus fan well that's just going to tell you who's good on paper and who's not well I'll give you on paper they have the most Pro Bowl quarterbacks in the league they might have the best secondary of the NFL they they usually do they had a good one last year they did they usually do and uh I'll just make the coffee and talk about track when we get to that point 61573 7145 is our number we've got a Titans initial depth chart we'll continue to react to we'll do that uh coming up quickly uh before we take a look at the AFC North Division previews that continue guest this morning Austin price at 820 Ron Morning kicking off the show on mode Kayla and will rkw we have got a Titans official unofficial depth chart I need one observation here this morning before we get to our AFC North preview give me the one thing that stood out we will get back to this uh throughout the show this morning but I want your headline of The Unofficial official depth chart there's a lot lot of wide receivers on this team who's going to be or there could be a couple guys that we know very well here that's the odd man out when it's all said and done I like that one that's strong right there uh mine is uh big youth movement lot of young guys in uh in the lineup either second-year guys or rookies this year within the first two levels of the depth chart uh two rookies starting um tandre and JC and also you got Jarvis brownley uh with the twos on the depth chart early so that's my that's my assessment of it so far to me is Mason kidy legitimately the starting punt returner and if so does that mean they have a spot for him just to be a specialist because right now he is the starting punt returner and he is listed alongside Cal Phillips ahead of jaquin Jackson with Jin Jackson third to return kicks behind Taj Spears and kiaris Jackson is Jaan Jackson in legitimate danger of not making this team that's what I thought about when I was looking at that list and yeah add that special teams to when I was talking about wide receivers cuz if you are able to make an impact and be that guy on special teams then you do automatically have a spot right and count with the wide receivers so there's so much that can go on there up to the starting you know of the SE the start of the Season that I don't know what to think of it right now jaquin Jackson could very well be on the outside of not making this team the thing is we've seen six rounders get cut before I won't be surprised if it happens like I think he's got good talent and a great story yeah to be a pro but I mean he is a sixth-rounder and teams are in the winning business so um a guy that'll probably have we'll talk later about it but not a whole lot of film to understand what he is as a young pro I I'd say that a very fair assessment of what could happen we've seen I've seen fifth rounders get cut before so um the business never forsakes winning okay like winning must happen at all times and if if it's Mason Kenzie that's number one right now then uh shout out to him he will not die I love it for him like he was this weekend he was intense very intense at practice on Saturday I think he had a really good day on Sunday too so he just continues to gift the Titans a lot of hard work and and a hard decision at the end of training camp and this is with a new staff yep he's a heck of a practice person or a practice player at that at least at that we haven't seen as much as as an actual starter like we've seen a little bit here and there but I'll give him he puts on a heck of a show and it's not like you can hate that either because that guy is not easy to go up against every day in practice well in the AFC North this season the Titans will only play one team out of the former AFC Central rivals on its schedule in 2024 it will be December 15th Cincinnati Bengals in Nashville for seemingly the 18th straight year the Cincinnati Bengals of course have a new look uh Dan pitcher in for Brian Callahan who is now here Joe Mixon is out Zack Moss is in Tyler Boyd of course is here in Nashville Germaine Burton the former Alabama receiver is in just don't rush the field against the Bengals if the Titans beat them and Trey Hendrickson and Sam hubard are back at edge with Sheldon rankins and Chris Jenkins the rookie coming in to play alongside BJ Hill to replace the production of DJ reader who is gone how do you assess Cincinnati with a healthy Joe burrow but a lot of changes within their coaching staff man the way I see this the way you felt about uh the comment you brought about the Cleveland Browns like being good on paper I feel this about Cincinnati they are legitimately stacked with Talent this year and I even go let's starting at their tackles the yeld tackles they have this year Orlando Brown J Who's stared I think is one of the highest paid left tackles wherever they're going to play him in the league they also signed Trent Brown this off season on top of that amarius Mims is trying to find his way into the lineup with him like they have a bunch of players when it comes down to their offensive line and their defensive line I love the fact that they went out and got Mike jiki this off season they are stacked as it pertains to Playmakers around Joe burrow and here's the thing too Joe Barrow has to stay healthy for himself too I don't think the the you know subtraction of coach coach Callahan is one that's going to hurt them because what we found out is this when it comes down to their play calling with Zack Taylor like it usually goes through the head coach defensively for them too they have one of the best as you said edge rushers out there with Sam hover and Trey Henderson the other thing too is they're secondary Dax Hill has been a guy that's somewhat come on Inn aent um and just looking at the way they have played on in years past they are a squad to me who I think have to be taking more years this year considering Joe burrow went without last year he missed a good bit the same as Deshawn too and when you look at the way their team is built up now I think they have a they put themselves in a position to where they're more offensively stronger than they have been in years past because of the o line too like they are stacked with bodies I don't know where they're going to play Marius Ms but here's the thing they got two veteran dudes that are bookends now to keep Joe burrow on the field it's on him to deliver with the weapons that they've given him this off season so they're always a team with Joe burrow that's going to be in the mix because we talk about you know this endlessly on the show of how important the quarterback is in the NFL and how much better it can make your team and how much more competitive it can make your team and clearly Joe burough has been that guy for the most part since the Cincinnati Bengals have had him but I will elaborate more on the injuries because I'm not going to go into this season saying automatically Joe burrow is going to be healthy throughout the season right now he is healthy and that is a good sign for them absolutely but I think at this point what's quietly you know being said is maybe he is a little bit injury-prone and he has played four NFL seasons and suffered three major injuries that yes have caused him to miss significant time um during those Seasons now last year they were able to kind of have Jake Browning ready and waiting and he is still there they decided to keep him there and was probably a good idea con you know considering he played a good amount of time for them last year and did a pretty decent job but this is all for me how Joe burrow is able to stay healthy throughout the season and if they can have him healthy I think they are probably one of the best teams in the NFC North uh AFC North excuse me so that's what I would say about the situation it all depends on Joe burrow when it's all said and done but I'll say this I trust him more than anything we've seen out of Desa Watson so far we're just with his injuries if we're comparing one to the other yes 100% as far as just and I even I'm not comparing them to the Browns I'm just comparing them to themselves right now and and they've gone out and got Zach Moss this offseason like they've checked a lot of boxes as far as refilling themselves too um but do you think if Jake Browning comes in as as the quarterback back for like five six games maybe let's say that they're able to kind of continue what they do with Jo Baro my thing is this I'm saying this on the fact that I think Joe bur's goingon to beat her like I hadn't even thought about uh thought about Jake Brown at all bring and I'm bringing this up because you can't not say that it hasn't happened almost every year with Joe bur it's been something that has caused him to miss time so it can't be not spoken about with Jake brownie he did well with them well enough that they thought they were he was going to get a um a free agent deal that was going to pull him in another Direction theyve done well without Joe burrow in there without him they hadn't been the team that they should be but they've done well enough with backups minus Joe Barrow that you say they have a good team this year defensively they've checked every single box there they got the edge rusher they got the D tackles they got the linebackers and they got a back end of this defense too like they have run stopping guys and on top of that Thumpers at middle linebacker too so they are one of the better teams and I'm even surprised I'm giving them this much praise but they check every box if you ask me who's going to win the AFC North I'd probably start with Baltimore but then I say if this and if that like they the teams that they have to see this year and I even say minus Pittsburgh because Pittsburgh has a very sensitive issue at Wide Receiver right now it is very sensitive and the fact that they're out of this Brandon IU conversation to me is mindblowing a little bit considering I think they're in a need basis which is what I've always heard you don't do you don't spend because of need well let's go there then Pittsburgh with a quarterback situation that's one of the more unique ones in the NFL between Russell Wilson and Justin Fields you add in and I say this respectfully essentially three wide receiver threes or fours with Van Jefferson Cordo Patterson and quz Watkins that's a lot of guys who are going to make a roster but are going to make the bottom of your roster maybe have three to 500 yards if they stay healthy and available for a full season Deontay Johnson is gone and Alan Robinson is gone you draft Roman Wilson uh the Young play injured out of Michigan who is hurt you get Patrick Queen in spin big you let Patrick Peterson and Levi Wallace walk uh but you acquire Dante Jackson as a part of the trade that sent Deontay Johnson to Carolina and you add him next to Joey Porter junor I mean Mike Tomlin teams are just have such a high floor but in this Vision this year Mo I feel like your former employer is one of the more intriguing teams in the league because on paper I don't think they are as good as I think they will be if that makes sense because that's what Mike Tomlin does it is is comical looking at it because here's the thing that that that you got to look at with this team and it's something that they've dealt with for a while until they figure out what's going to happen on this offense defensively that's what's going to keep them in games you said it a second ago they went out they got a Patrick Queen they got a young guy de tackle nose tackle Keo Ben who's supposed to make a big jump this year and joy Porter Jr being a guy too right like as far as young guys and uncertainty but then you also say this well you got Alex heith you got TJ watt you still got cam Hayward you got make a Fitzpatrick and then again you throw in a guy like Patrick Queen there supposed to be guys it's supposed to be a team that will hold offenses accountable basically they will be in games because of now the biggest issue that I have is what are they going to do at the offensive line spot right and quarterback that to me is very problematic for the Steelers on a lot of different reasons one they're going to have a new uh a new starter at left tackle this year and brck Jones who hadn't been in that spot before they moved Dan Moore over to right tackle which he's never in his life played before and on top of that um they got a couple of draft picks this year that should be in contention to play too like Troy Fano Washington right or no he's I don't know on who you ask cuz could be right tackle but here's the thing Dan Moore is in a never die situation right now cross train him cross train Bill Callahan way it it really is and then they need help and I mean serious help when it come down to the wide receiver position like it is as fragile as anybody's wide receiver room if I've ever seen in the NFL to me and respectfully I say this it's George pickings and so the 2023 Titans well guess who the coordinator is Arthur Smith yeah Arthur Smith man I love what Pat farmouth is as a tight end but again we've I'll say this I've seen Arthur Smith deal offense with tight ends he even went to Atlanta and did the exact same thing I don't know if Pat farmouth is in the KY pittz conversation but if we believe in what uh Arthur Smith can do offensively for tight ends then Pat fouth would have a good year my issue is what are you gonna get out of Russell Wilson or a Justin fields and right now it seems to be Justin Field's job to lose from what all reports Russ's not on the field yeah you know he's dealing with what is that a calf that he has uh yes a calf calf injury it's the training camp injury of the year um but you had mentioned George Pickins as the clear guy that you you think is you're going to get production out at the wide receiver position because when you look down the depth chart um and by the way does Fitzpatrick is there in Pittsburgh if you don't remember for now but van Jefferson which is from he's right from here in high school he came over from La which remember he dealt with all those injuries towards the end of his time um in LA and he's there and then you've got the rookie and Roman Wilson and I don't know what you've heard out of Camp I haven't you know paid looked good but he has he was out early he was out early in Camp sure and he's a rookie so you're right I mean you look at that and there you know and then the depth behind it there's not a lot so yeah that's definitely the biggest question mark there if you were to ask me what I bet they're over or under on Pittsburgh this year um over under there eight and a half it's always gonna be eight and a half I was gonna say without even looking it's eight and a half you guess yeah it's eight and a half it's Mike Tomley doesn't have a losing record with you seeing that that it's eight and a half I know it's eight and a half what what am I betting under over on that one got to take the over got to take the over absolutely got to take the over it's I mean he's had enough time now how long has he been there yeah he has a losing record while he's been the Steelers head coach it's just what Pittsburgh does for what Smith wants as an offense he's got two bruising running backs he's got a couple of tight ends and he's got a o line that's willing to push listen Arthur Smith the OC is has never been on trial like Arthur Smith the OC is a great coach been good that's true he's been outstanding just not as a head coach that's true I I'm just very worried about the wide receiver position yeah well in Baltimore derck Henry of course joins Lamar Jackson in the backfield Nate Wiggins and Roger Rosen Garden are the first two draft picks Morgan Moses has gone John Simpson is gone and Kevin zler zitler zitler Bert this is your time to shine Patrick Queen is gone at linebacker obviously Mike McDonald is the new head coach in Seattle so you promote Zack or from within to be your defensive coordinator Justin matab has got a big old extension at four years 98 million Robert Walsh give me the thing you like the most that your Ravens did this off season I like that they kept the defense intact mostly uh aside from losing javian Clowney uh they don't really have to replace a lot of of production on the defensive side the one thing they do have to replace is Mike McDonald uh but the guy that they have everyone's a big fan of him Zack or if you're not familiar uh played for the Ravens uh had to retire early because of a neck injury and has been within the uh the NFL he I think he was a linebacker coach for the Jaguars he he he kind of move bounced around a little bit came back to the NFL Mike McDaniels tried to poach him Anthony Weaver tried to poach him he wanted to stay in Baltimore excited to see how I think he's the youngest defense coordinator in the league uh currently some when he played too by the way he was uh he was a dog his last year in the NFL was his b best year before the neck injury can I say this about this defense too on paper according to PFF every single person on this defense is a green and above you guys are stacked defensively they they have done a really good job about adding to the depth of positions that have hurt them uh in previous years like cornerback quarterback is somewhere where they were always end up starting guys off the street late in the year oh what happened oh they gave up B big uh third down conversion because their Corner they just signed last week couldn't play now they kind of got good depth now the one thing I do not like about this team is the uh lack of of continuation on the offensive line you made note of losing three offensive line starters so you're basically replacing a right tackle and both of your guards they drafted uh Andrew Vorhees out of in the seventh round out of USC he tore his ACL at the combine was rewarded a medical hardship year so so technically this is his rookie year uh he was he has penciled in as the starter when the depth chart came out yesterday he has not taken a single snap in the NFL so unprecedented we don't really know what that cat is on the other side uh there's trying to put Daniel fele who is a massive man into a guard position and the whole reason he can't play tackle is because he doesn't have to use his hands well he doesn't have to punch so how the hell is he going to play guard if he's not good with his hands that concerns me and the right tackle you've got uh Patrick McCary who is a career backup he's a great swing guy great guy who can play left tackle and a pinch but not the guy I would want starting at right tackle and the second round rookie uh Roger rosengarden who I liked I I like him he's fine but we don't know he's a rookie tackle but I I liked his size and you speak about uh fele not using his hand he has really good hands so I remember watching his tape in the pre-draft I like Rosen Gardner I I'm be honest with you he should be our gra of our future if he lives up to what what we saw and that's that's what they're hoping right because he played right tackle at Washington which was technically The Blind Side of Michael pennick so now what they're going to try to do is eventually move him to left tackle if Ronnie Stanley doesn't return to form uh so it's a they have projects all over their offensive line now can Lamar continue to make the offensive line look better you can only do that until he gets hurt y um but real quick with with a guy like Lamar Jackson because we know just how big of a threat he is in the Run game too um does it matter then if you if you're wide receiver maybe aren't as you know High Caliber as some of these other teams cuz I know a lot of people are like oh well what about the wide receivers they're not that great like the names aren't that big but that's the thing that's that's that's what I think you have to realize too is it doesn't have to be the flashy names to necessarily be somebody who's going to be productive in an offense like this with a Lamar yeah I think that's just a situation where like the Titans deal with this a lot where National media like looks in it's like I don't know any of those guys but then when you you really break it down like they have shot b z flowers both good receivers Mark Andrew Isaiah Wilson or Isaiah um likele he's really good four really good receivers who they can play with plus the Run game uh no it that does not bother me because they have done much more with much less well we already covered the Browns at the open of the show so we don't need to do them anymore we don't have time to talk about I do think they're on on paper they are good they are yes that good new OC Ken dorsy I just uh I just need to like the same way that we give Mike Tomlin Grace and being like they got to get eight and a half wins like I just need to see them do it continually like year after year like and then I would be like okay the Browns aren't like AR they aren't going to they aren't going to blow it at the end like I don't know I know we don't want to like look back at the past but we do that for Mike Tomlin in the good way I'm just going to do that to the Browns until they they change my mind I know my issue is just when you penalize like a staff that was like two places away from being Browns coaches for something that they were not involved in like like we give Mike Tomlin Grace cuz he was there and involved with it like it's not Kevin stans's fault that they sucked in 2019 after they're supposed to be good what is his overall R 615 737 1045 an Olympic minute coming up next it's Ramon minutes I've got an Olympic minute for you because there's a world record holder who is an Undisputed goat in action yesterday many of you might have been watching it first we'll go to the phones though Mark is in the burough at 615 737 1045 what's up Mark morning Mark good morning yall thanks for taking my call I didn't mean to get off subject today but uh want to ask a question about vandre sweat uh I I listened to JC late was actually at the their practice Sunday and I saw how big sweat is oh my God so my question is cuz JC late them at after you know after practice he spoke on swea and he pretty much was praising sweat and was like Hey when he's that big you just got to really just try to stop him and he's great with his hands but he also said that he wants to be better than Jeffrey Simmons and you know that's probably a conversation that they've had personally but um what do you think he's not he's floor but what do you think he Silling is and how many sacks do you see this guy getting this year great great setup here's the thing about I think friendly competition is always good Jeff has said the same thing that he and the used to go at each other about getting stat lines here's the difference I think between Jeff and tandre as far as their play and expectation we got to look at what tandre did in college he won the Outland Trophy and if you look at his stat line he did not have a whole bunch of numbers and sacks I think it was two sacks and like 40 tackles on the season or something like that if I'm not mistaken his being good is being disruptive is making sure you can't run on him like when he mentioned that uh when you mentioned JC Lan brought up the fact that he's just big you got to worry about stopping him like that's where you look at a guy like that I'm trying to effort this uh this this information right now as a guy that was that good that was doing those things and that's hello to me five time Pro Bowl two times All Pro I think a Hall of Fame caliber guy but here's the thing with NADA the most sex he ever had in the season was F was five and a half what you also knew about hodata was this is if he was in the game it was going to be hell to try to run the ball and that's where his good to me has to be exhibited week in and week out I could I couldn't care less if tandre sweat had three sacks in a game my thing is his effect on the interior three and his ability when out there he does have the capabilities to get to the quarterback we saw this past weekend he quick armed over uh Lloyd cushenberry he gave um uh what's his name Peter scony some work to me his stat line has to come to effectiveness of making sure that the offensive line can get up to the linebackers his numbers I don't think will ever be high the most tackles that hodata had in a year 47 right for the position that he's going to be playing 47 tackles five and a half sacks that was his best year he made all pro first team this year and Pro Bowl that to me is a very solid and good career to to for to vandre sweat and if he can get 10 years out of that I live that life all all I every time 10 times out of 10 just really quick did do we need in to have higher expectations than for Jack in his Jack Jeff in his sack production cuz that's other thing a lot of people get hung up on sometimes is like well you know Jeff like he's he's he's a solid piece but like do we need him to do production more on the sack front which that doesn't really mean much with that position and what he's doing um I think it's a different study for Jeff if if tandre have a whole lot of eyes on him then Jeff should be eating so you think a little bit more Jeff has been in that conversation already though as far as Jeff has the pro bowls the second Team all Pros but the expectation that he get more like d tackles usually aren't in that position unless they're going to be set up that way like Chris Jones is so it depends upon what dard Wilson wherever's going to be coordinat here at some point do for Jeff also in 2018 as a rookie via had three sacks and uh 28 total tackles I would take that as a great first season statistically for dandre SWAT that's just a position where you need more Nuance than the stats themselves mhm if he's healthy I think Jeffrey Simmons could have 12 sex yeah the entire season you just have to hope the outside can get going yeah seriously but vitaa is a guy that also you hear compared to dandre considering VTO vea has averaged around four and a half four to five and a half six sacks for the career high six and a half sacks in 2022 uh maybe the tandre SW will be lucky enough to play against Andre Dillard and move around the way vitaa did against Andre Dillard last season where the Titans were in Tampa uh Olympics yesterday guys anyone watch Mondo Duplantis in the pole vault I saw the highlights I watched it yeah Mondo Duplantis has a new world record in the pole vault 6 M 25 he tops the previous world record he had at 624 American Sam Kendricks great guy southern guy once Sam Kendricks he got the silver by the way yesterday I should say that first Sam Kendricks we did a meet in Memphis last year and we were doing a road mile through beel Street and we needed some kind of cart for the cameraman to sit on the back of that way we could shoot the road mile through the streets of Memphis and he just drove his Jeep to our entire track beat and Sam Kendrick's jeep was like the the the lead cart for this road mile we use this camera on shout out Sam Kendrick nicest guy in the world he got silver but uh Monda Duplantis is the goat maybe more so than any other athlete that is at the Olympics now in the history of pval he has sole possession of the nine best jumps in world history way to go he broke his own record right he broke his own record he he's tied with a Frenchman whose name I'm not going to Butcher and even if I said it wrong you wouldn't know the difference anyway because uh about five of you would know who I'm talking about so I'm just not going to even do it uh he's tied for the 10th best spot now in world history but uh this guy grew up in Lafayette Louisiana went to LSU his dad is a legendary Swedish uh vter as well uh but he represents or not Swedish wter his dad is his coach and his mom is Swedish so he represents Sweden grew up in Lafayette his uh liso track that good too very good it is very good also okay yeah uh it was awesome watching him man he not only cleared like he had room to go on clearing the the the world record again too the one to win the Olympics was just like oh you got way more than this left in the tank it was good man it was fun watching it last night because I myself was just like how do you trust your weight on that pole right there like how you trust anything on that pole how many times do you fall back before you are actually good at this a good amount do you my guy Trey Hardy with a great analysis commentary one of my favorite analysts to work with on the uh the NBC call so they did a great job coverage it was it was awesome I I thoroughly enjoyed watching it yesterday for sure and the the the the what is it 800 is insane hodkinson taking the win she's been silver so many times I think Mo was hurt did you see the controversy on the 5,000 meter they made the right call they gave her they gave her her silver back I know I saw that was not an illegal push it's not an Olympic game without some they gave her a gorilla you said you gave her a silver B oh gosh there it is that was good that was good just took about an hour on the show to get there 615 737 1045 I would love to dive into the logistics on why it was so stupid they even tried to take her silver medal away but let's do it again cuz I'm still confused there are 99.9% of our audience brother here by the Titans on official dep turn so we're going to do that coming up next 615 737 1045 what's going on it's will bowling storms and changing weather can cause all Zone Studios I am Robert Walsh Titans released their first unofficial depth chart of the year no shocking reveals but the Titans do have their top two rookies JC leam and tandre SWAT both penil in as starters ahead of the first preseason game this weekend Kansas City Chiefs have signed Harrison bucker to a contract extension that makes him the NFL's highest paid kicker the extension is four years $25 million with 17 guaranteed at 6.4 million per year bucker will make more than the previous highest paid kicker the Baltimore Ravens Justin Tucker and the Philadelphia Eagles Jake Elliot who both average 6 million per year and some NFL injury updates from around the league Bengals defensive end cam sample a fourth round pick in 2021 one suffered at torn Achilles and will miss the entire 2024 season an MRI in Carolina shows that Xavier Legette did not suffer a fracture in his foot he left practice early on Sunday with a lower leg injury and RAM standout wide receiver puka nakua considered to be weak to week after suffering a knee injury this weekend but is being described as quote not serious for all your foundation repair and waterproofing needs visit uss.com breaking news at once on your home for the Titans and the vs this is 1045 do pH and the show goes on into hour number two on your Tuesday Morning Ramone Kayla and will rkw I'll tell you what the timing was amazing of the intro saying it's a good thing I don't say anything interesting after I'm discussing the intricacies of the women's 5,000 meter Olympic race disqualification process talking about anyway there's a Titans depth chart out we're going to talk about it 615 737 1045 going to talk a little bit of pre season football coming up in 15 minutes because folks it is upon us rone Foster Kayla Anderson will bowling Robert Walsh our producer Titans with a jog through practice today meaning we will see them again tomorrow as well as Thursday live from Ascension St Thomas Sports Park here on the show guys Nicholas petite fra for The Unofficial official Titans depth chart is listed ahead of Juku as the starting right tackle he is written next to sadique Charles as the starting Right Guard if auku is already buried behind mpf after 3 days of the practice field does he have any real chance at being the week one starter no absolutely not at this point we spoke about this a little bit like I said um and certain plays they've had JN anduku has been um employed as the extra tight end I've always said when you're in a spot to where you are doing things outside of your day job meaning being an extra tight end then you're probably not the guy they're considering for a starter what you are is a really good support player who will play a significant role if they have to go jumbo package and it seems to be something that they've done throughout the course of their practices that we have been through when we can report on these types of things so no I did think going into it Jon and Juku had a very strong chance of becoming a starter but I said but wait we must see what this looks like in pads and in pads uh he looked like a guy that would be a very good assistant type of player like he's the teachers assistant and his opport with the opportunities that he's getting and I say that respectfully because there's a role for a guy to can play extra tight end and blocking scenarios right here is what he's done and also watching him primarily run with the tools where you see uh npf and Jaylen Duncan run with the ons now Saturday they had that play-by-play rotation it was npf it was Jaylen Duncan it was J anduku and they rotated it as such one thing I am somewhat shocked about though is if that's the way they see J Juku is not a primary starter I actually thought we'd see Jaylen Duncan if had a JN Juku I will say that from all the things I've seen on jayen Duncan and all the things I've heard about jayen Duncan is his talent like his ceiling is high and it's a matter of time if he can flip that switch for himself so I'm somewhat shocked that he's with the threes but they have a a ton of talent well I'll say this they have a good bit of talent as it pertains to the guy in that offensive line room of dudes who I will also say hav improved a whole lot yeah that's the other side of this room being so thick because Cole Spencer the undrafted free agent I think they got 75 or $990,000 as to sign as an undrafted guy I actually thought he would be higher up in the depth chart considering what they had given him but again this is what we also have to remember the NFL is a very rich industry they will give you $150,000 until you go on about your way and that's essentially what it seems like I ain't going to say that's what happened Nicole Smith I think he's a project but I thought with that type of commitment to him as an undrafted he'd actually be ahead of uh Bronco or at least splitting reps with Bronco right here at backup center yeah I that's why I still continue to worry about right tackle um because if you're putting Nicholas petite fra as the number one guy right now it's not like he was the starter last year he was obviously out a lot of those games because of the suspension and then the injury so it's not like he's guaranteed that starting spot cuz some of these spots you can look at and be like okay clearly they've been the starter you know clearly they've earned that spot as much as I root for Nicholas petite fra I don't know if he's necessarily just expected to be given that spot if he hasn't been out on the field and that's what surprised me about that I agree with you um Jonah Juku is not maybe necessarily a starter yet or might not be in the future depth piece absolutely but he has been there and he's been a able and he's improved but Nicholas petite fra we just saw him get back this last week and he's already at the top of the depth chart which I feel like he still has a lot of work to do and catching up he has been in the classroom and you can't take anything away from that and there are significant jumps you can make in there with a Bill Callahan type of teacher but for me he still has to prove himself too so if he is the number one guy which it looks like he's going to be at right tackle I would just say this be a a little bit weary of maybe the start of the season on that right side with with npf because he's still going to be learning if he is indeed the starter he's still going to be kind of getting back in the groove with this new offense with the expectations from a Bill Callahan type of offensive line I think he could be that guy uh getting back to playing good football but I think it might take just a little bit if indeed mpf is a starter and it looks like he is my thing is this with mpf I do think he's this the this team start caliber guy uh after watching him on Saturday compared to what the other guys have done against Harold Landry and the other outside rushers I think it's warranty that you give npf the fair Shake on it and I'm all for the undrafted guys Lord knows I love a undrafted guy when it comes down to their ability to be starters in this league but to be an undrafted guy you need to be very unique in the way that you take a hold of starting in this league again we speak about Mason Kenzie and how he's just won't die like my thing with watching Jah Juku and pads has been he has a few dying moments like the way Harold Landry had a master class on him this past week what is dying moment mean dying moments is whenever you whenever it gets real then you somewhat seize up and when it got real with padone this past week and Juka as much as I want to root for him he's seized up watching npf in these moments whether he's hungry whether he just doesn't know what he doesn't know with coach Bill Callahan and Brian Callahan's offense he to me looks like a NFL starter for the this team more than anybody else of that group and I'll even say this I don't know if that means they upgrade next year it'd be ideal if they didn't and he play this out and have a great PFF score Etc but mpf is the guide to me as it pertains to starting for this team even without any of the the spring missing last year the suspension Etc that's options that you have is he's the best guy to me to get this job done and that's why I'm a little worried just because I I I don't know yet if he is that solid of a guy yet because he has missed so much time in playing catchup that's my thing yeah he's obviously the best option but I don't know if he's ever going to be that High Caliber you know tackle you want him to be I think the same conversation's been had about JC leam too if if we're saying like both this I know but like if that's the case and we're sending them both into the lines then then I feel the exact same way about JC leam my thing is he's been available up to this point as a rookie well he's not been a pro longer than npf has no but I'm not talking about him I'm I'm talking about that right tackle spot because that's to me been the question mark and yeah left tackle you're assuming right now that that is going to be Jason JC leam that is going to dominate that spot for the future I don't think he's going to be perfect this year by any means I think he's G we've discussed this on the show he's going to have ups and downs so yeah people's expectations of of JC leam too cannot be he's going to be perfect or he's going to like oo and on in every moment he's going to have mistakes that's what Bill Callahan told us but yeah that's I guess what I'm trying to say is npf's been here for three years and so that worries me at this point that he's not to that level because he's missed so much time he missed that second development Year and that right there I think is why we have the question marks behind it but I'll say this he looks more of a pro at tackle than anyone that they have of that group right now well yeah real quick why does Jaylen Duncan have such a high ceiling in your opinion athletically he has it he has a mean streak in him that you can see is there you see him move in space getting around the blockers uh whenever they have them pull it's a matter of consistency and buying into the process of every single day being an every single day type of guy athletically will size the way he moves his hands his power that he brings with them is all there for him now again guys separate themselves however they want to when they come down to the process of being a better Pro his to me is being every single day guy and I've heard he's been a whole lot better at that it's just that he's behind mpf well he's third on the depth chart now Saturday night Titans preseason football begins against the San Francisco 49ers how much should Titan Starters play in the first preseason game and who needs a good preseason opener the most that's next pain from arthritis is just awful bone on bone constant pain it robs you of in the studio at 920 your phone call is at 615 737 1045 how much should Titans Starters play in preseason and if it really is a youth movement within the two deep that we got yesterday from the Titans official unofficial depth chart how much should the ones be out there on Saturday night against the 49ers oo I would say since this is the first preseason game and maybe that dictates what happens in the last two games which Seattle Falls that and then they're on the road against New Orleans to wrap up the preseason I would say I would like to see them at least play like a quarter right I I would say a half maybe for a couple starters or new faces um some of the young guys I think definitely a half that are in the mix for these starting spots but I would say even some of these guys that are new to this team that might be veterans I would at least like to see them play that first part of the half yeah uh I'm I'm about a quarter and a half is where I'm at on it and for the most part for the stars for this reason right here because week two gets complicated because they are having a joint practice yes and what's going to be I guess overlooked is a lot of those guys that do a lot of work in the joint practices won't play in the game so for me I need a little bit more extended time if you told me that the young guys Peter guny and JC leam ended up playing a half I could live that life with them okay because in stadiums I do think a guy like Juku needs more in stadium timing um and a lot of a load of these young guys I got rupic I want to see a good bit of I got Raiden has to play majority of this game also John Nuku I just mentioned Quinn Bohan is another guy Rashad Weaver has to get condition up to playing at game speed at some point in time Shane Ray also what does he look like it's been six years okay um James Williams another guy that's popped and also Jarvis brownley those are the guys I want to see play extended amount of time to see how they adjust see if they can handle it and see what kind of plays it be made too so I'm going say at minimum a quarter for the starters and I'd even throw guys like Jeff and Harold in that conversation because you only got three live ones and then you end up having the joint practice quarter and a half for most um and I I'll be honest with you I probably pull the quarterbacks earlier yeah I I could see levs out there for two series three maybe and and you got two guys that are kind of in some people's minds are competing for this backup they are still even though if you want to say Mason's going to be the guy according to the depth chart right now he is number two but Malik has improved greatly I think that's a good problem to have to make them play oh yeah a good part of the preseason because they have been pretty good for the most part uh Ramone so I I agree with you I think maybe not having Levis out there for more than a quarter if even a little bit less than that is probably a good thing two possessions for the bubble wrapped starters okay meaning injured or too important to lose that's will Levis That's Tony Pard yeah that is Jeffrey Simmons I don't even think Harold Andre plays two series I don't think he plays if I'm honest with you coming back from an illness where he lost 10 to 15 pounds there's no reason for me to need to see Harold Landry play preseason football yet I think you ease him back however I wouldn't be surprised if he played but just personally I don't need to see him um AR and key probably two series because you need to know what you have behind him sure and then your often injured guys Amman hooker two series lerus need probably nothing considering the plan that they have in place for him so I I think that's where you begin right the guys that you either don't need to see because you know who they are or your quarterback who I have no interest in getting hurt however I'm playing the starting offensive line the fir the whole first half and I'm mixing and matching different pieces within that line over the course of the final two to three possessions I want to see what a JC leam Peter scony Lloyd kushberry offensive line Looks like with cting Charles and npf then I see what then I want to see what it looks like with Dylan Raiden and Jaylen Duncan then I want to see what it looks like with CID Charles and JN auku I think you mix and match the right side of that line for a lot of the first half but at this point those five need work together they do no 100% um and and that to me I think is the biggest Focus point considering the quarterbacks that you mentioned have to be protected I I do want to see how they respond how they play with knowing that the quarterbacks can get sacked knowing that hey look and and I know sacks are part of the game but what you don't want is a very inexperienced guy or guy that's fighting for a job to look like he's fighting for a job also and what I mean is not fighting for a job in a good way but fighting for one in Failure like I said the consistency that we've seen out in practice for a couple of the guys have has been inconsistent and that to me is very problematic so if you say put him in for a quarter I mean for a series of two as far as will Levis goes yes I can live that life but the importance of Mega show these guys feel what it's like inside of a stadium to protect a quarterback has to be there and not just that even with the backups right how does Mason handle being out there and and knowing that look my protection might not be the greatest and then with Malik too we've praised him and I love the the steps that he's made as far as staying in the pocket does he continue to do that in live games also um and then another guy too I think that can help all their causes is watching The Run game with a guy like Hassan H and also uh H Haskins and also uh Julius Chestnut so that's a big battle right there too I mean honestly Julius Chestnut is is battling for that third spot so is uh Jabari small but Hassan H Haskins has a lot to prove as well like he's done a great job this Camp he's kind of come back and said hey I'm still on this team but I think the preseason is huge for this spot it because it's still a battle in my eyes I think Assan H Haskins is Head and Shoulders ahead of Julius Chestnut right now that's where I've been that can change obviously but I think Hassan H Haskins looks great no he does yeah absolutely and he's the bigger he's a little bit more of the bigger bat compared to any of these guys which would be nice to have just a little bit bigger body compared to Pard and uh Spears Spears yeah I mean he's nothing like Derrick Henry but I'm just saying compared to those two it would be nice to have that kind of depth and then maybe have a little bit bigger of a body um behind those two also I think it's intriguing because there are so many spots that you know are kind of still a battle like the tight end spot with chiga cono and Josh Wy like they're neck and neck right now literally on the depth chart like they are co co starters so I think that will be a really interesting spot just to see how much they play and who kind of sticks out um with these preseason games and then I did want to ask you guys in terms of tandre sweat because he's been really good so far in Camp and you can't really complain with what he's done up to this point but now you put him in a game scenario do you want him to play the whole first half for the part of like just you know getting into that game shape real life action or is it like a quarter thing where you feel like okay he's done enough in Camp let's just you know put him out there for a quarter the defensive positions are a little bit different especially when you're talking about the front seven more than anything that that to me for him is if he looks effective pushing the pocket running to the ball I can see him playing a quarter and a half just simply because he's penciled in as a day one starter right now and it's all about pacing him to get him throughout the course of the Season too and it's not and is there's no separator between him and JC leam it's just that at the o line position it is more reps it is more consistency it is bigger eyes on you if you mess up thing about a guy like dandre if he goes in and wreck shot for a quarter I think you can see all right we're going to pull the big boy and that's where again the depth behind him and Jeff with guys like I mentioned earlier Quinn Bohan Andre o Coburn like these are the type of guys that have to also be build in depth as it as it pertains to this defense like I I don't want to call it fragile as far as depth but there's guys sitting behind Jeff and tandre and um Sebastian Joseph day that haven't had these types of opportunities Keandre Coburn Quin banan Marlon Davidson like these guys got to get in and show what they're capable of and we're burying a guy I ain't gonna say we are but TK mandon now last year we spoke about him with the tools and his ability to make this team like giving him an opportunity to jump out front I think is going to be crucial for him so if you can get to vandre in and show that he's capable of sustaining drives and we saw that this past week he was in a longplay series when Jeff came out tandre stayed in and if he can prove to do that in the game and run to the ball and do the little small stuff as far as freeing up Kenneth Murray to make tackles he gets pulled in a quarter and a half the way see a guy like him I'd love for him to play some third Downs oh oh yeah for sure I think that's the priority is um again it is harder to delineate what playing time looks like for defensive guys I think he's available for the whole first half and is on and off the field for second and third Downs like that that's where I want to see him really tested like can you stay out there for a first through third down then come off get you a play and then back out there for second and third down and and see what the pass rush abilities are for him but again I also need him to be healthy for week one I do too and um but here's the thing he's shown to be capable of doing that at Texas he's done it see at the NFL yeah no doubt and even and and so that's where it's going to become challenging to him because well depending on who he sees if he sees the starters of San Francisco this upcoming weekend like they have a mean offensive line like they're going to attack him and hit his hip I want to see how he this isn't College anymore is essentially what I'm saying we used to salivate on watching young offensive lineman I mean d linan come in because I know this oh they said all of this about you well meet my shoulder pad into your ribs you're literally not in Kansas anymore yes you're no way are you there um but the idea that he survives this will and like you said I'd even like to see if there was a first second down and then a first down situation he stays out there and get that third down um play consistently I'd leave him there for a minute you mentioned chig being listed as a a co-starter for tight end alongside Josh Wy isn't that kind of a dig a chi I almost think it's it's giving Wy more credit but the job's being taken from him also because chick came in the unquestioned number one tight end and if this doesn't motivate chick a cono to pick it up a little bit then Josh W is just going to be the overall starter and look it's a new staff so you really can't say oh just cuz chig was the starter under Mike vel's staff means he's the starter under Brian Callahan's team so that's the way I look at it because I think in a way they did give a lot of fresh kind of opportunities for some of these guys with how they are evaluating them on the field during camp and I'll say this about sh it's not like he's been bad right he's made some plays but he's also had a couple mistakes and those mistakes will stick out when you're in a POS position battle they just will and Josh Wy came into Camp having a confidence about him um being really uh confident in how he's feeling physically because I know that's a thing he mentioned last year he just didn't physically feel right and he feels like he is able to have uh you know be able to compete at that level day in and day out in Camp because his body's right but most of all he's got that confidence and it's showed out there like everything he's done for the most part has really uden a us um he hasn't done anything to take away from winning that starting job so that's how I look at it it is a weird situation though considering chig has been the guy here the past couple years I I've since he's gotten healthy this off season Josh Wy he's been the topic of conversation even through OTAs through manyi Camp he's consistently shown up down the field he's made contested catches and situations where he's been presented those um at this point is it disrespectful to Chick no because they're still in the battle but I'd almost expect there's more play playmaking ability in a Josh Wy right now with this offense with this offense than it is with chig and my thing is is how does chig respond to this with this type of pressure that comes your way and you know this is one of your co-arts one of your friends and they're a tandem on the practice field I don't think there's any beef in what they got going on but the designation or the delegation of plays and amount of reps that a player get you will see who's most important to this staff moving forward depending on how they use Wy moving forward the thing that I've seen is this the battles that Josh Wy has had with Kenneth Murray has never backed down attitude one his size now also look like he's gained and added weight good weight and he's got the speed and athletic ability to make plays when he got drafted our thing was what with him he's a receiving type of guy that's big enough to block for you and can make plays down the field and he's shown that chig has had moments even in this training camp the reason I've pushed Hassan hkin H Haskins ahead of Julius Chestnut is because of why and I continually say it Julius Chestnut has put the ball on the ground CH has also although it was recovered put the ball on the ground too couple times couple of times and that to coaches when you show me who you are I got to somewhat believe it and that's not to say that ch's not a good Chi's a good player but chig also has to get to that point where he consistently start tapping in that p word potential that we always always talk about with him and I think Josh W been a year younger been in a position to where he's more vertical than chig as of late and has shown this year that he's going to compete and fight and I hope stay healthy he may be a bigger option than chig this year we've received a couple questions about Cedric gray the rookie inside linebacker out of North Carolina who is buried as the third inside linebacker mhm and asked uh a couple of different people have inquired whether or not we're surprised by that I'm not at all I mean that's a day three draft pick and this is the first step chart yeah and I think something that he admitted to you know early on and and in Camp he said it's gotten better but the adjustment to the speed of the game is definitely different at this level especially in that kind of position and he is kind of admitted to that something he's still trying to learn you can see out there it it it's it's a learning process for him and that's not to say he won't be good by you know the time the season starts or you know midseason whatever it might be he needs to continue to develop that doesn't mean he can't be the guy in the future but right now just because Jack Gibbons has been really solid and he hasn't shown anything to not win that spot while this other rookie is still kind of learning at this level no doubt and again the biggest the biggest thing that that Cedric gray has to do this year is be a monster on special teams for sure because even with Jack EV like chance Campbell has had a good camp to me he has been around the ball in coverage if I'm not mistaken he tipped the ball that was intercepted by one of the DBS recently in their uh in the field offense versus defense he has been around for what is worth these guys jack given chance Campbell has have denied all allegations against them when it comes to what they can't do they've shown it so far at practice to me that Cedric gray had no room to grow so far and it ain't to say that he can't be a a crucial part of this team his contributions will have to be on special team that's where he's going to get his hay to actually be a guy that can play for this defense as of 30 seconds ago quandre Diggs is officially a Tennessee Titan there we go there you go awesome Jim Wyatt good to see there it is he's not doing that sorry I hate to interrupt you your Tuesday Morning on rkw Ramone Kayla and will and football is back it's because we got a preseason coaches poll congratulations to the sports information directors of most of the major college football coaches for making their first po of the year four teams ranked on Tennessee's 2024 schedule starting with top ranked Georgia and fourth ranked Alabama Tennessee comes in at number 50 right ahead of Oklahoma also on the schedule and North Carolina State nine SEC teams ranked Georgia 1 Texas 4 B 5 Miss 6 Missouri 11 LSU 12 Tennessee 15th and then Oklahoma and Texas A&M at 16th and 20th Georgia unsurprisingly the number one team in the country Ohio State unsurprisingly right behind them where was the Pole right and where were the SIDS of football coaches wrong um so I am a voter so I'll I'll put that out there I put Tennessee at number 12 in the AP poll in the AP poll correct so uh I'll start with that my reasoning for that is clearly we know a lot about Tennessee because we talk about them we see them firsthand um we've heard about the progress in the off season I put a lot of stock into what nicoo yam malava is likely to do so that was at least the reason for putting Tennessee at number 12 uh clearly they were ranked 15th overall I don't know what the reasons for other people were um I think for the most part um the AP voters got things right um Georgia clearly number two Ohio State clearly number uh sorry number one Ohio State clearly number two yeah it's hard at this time of the year guys because I don't know if most people are going off of what these teams did a little bit in the past and what maybe additions that they've had um it's kind of a crapshoot you can't go off of a lot of this you can't get mad at it so I think for the most part it was right yeah my my gripe is this I don't know what Missouri is going into it can they do it again and that's no slander towards Missouri I know they've done really well in nil I wonder can they do it again I'm not familiar with their game as far as being one of these top tier teams and that schedule too by the way yes and I'll even throw in with LSU losing Jaden Daniels I know they have a lot of talent down there but losing the Heisman winning quarterback to the draft again where I guess the grace given as far as saying yes well LSU is going to be back with an unproven guy so far what we know again I know coach Kelly is one of those guys that offensively does his thing but that's the the one push back I have Notre Dame always gets the benefit of the doubt watching their young coach do what he does this year I'm I don't know what it looks like there's a lot of uncertainty this is why is also pre-season and the coaches vote on this I hope they do a better job of voting on this than they do with how we go about the NFL top 100 so that's those are my only push backs on it the top five they got right Old Miss all things I've heard about them with Jackson Dart supposed to line up to be that good Michigan more allegations coming out we'll see how they handle that internally man so um I ain't got a whole lot of push back and James Franklin at Penn State he's doing a lot to never be noticed it's the way way I look at him like as far as coming out of the Big 10 he's not here yeah I think he's known as Stu at the Big 10 but we're just not a big 10 but but what I'm saying is like he'll get this Grace but is he beating Ohio state is he beating Michigan like he's the the best of the rest of the Big 10 behind Ohio State Michigan so which gets you infringe top 10 team that's top 10 and Florida State too they're their quarterback left yeah so yal the quarterback at FSU who I am not a believer in at all saying like there's a lot of that but I get why they got the benefit of the doubt yeah uh for me Texas should be third ahead of Oregon okay I would have put Texas in front of them I think the roster is better I think the quarterback is better at Texas that it is for Oregon with Dylan Gabriel I I'm fine with the rest of it I mean again like Kayla said you're you're kind of putting a blindfold on and throwing darts at a dart board uh Notre Dame a bit too high for me but so is Michigan like I don't know who I would put ahead of Notre Dame so at this point if I don't have an argument of who should be there instead of you then I can't really complain about where you're ranked right I'm fine with Tennessee at 15 yeah I think it's about right I would personally put them ahead of Missouri and LSU but I have no issue with Missouri and LSU being ahead considering Tennessee's entire secondary is completely new good question and I do think where voters get lazy on Missouri is that Missouri has a very easy schedule that means means Missouri is a very strong Contender to be in the playoff that does not mean Missouri is actually better though than teams with a harder schedule who are right behind them and I think that's a mistake we make a lot of times as we rank based on who is going to be there at the end well the schedule has a lot to do with that especially in a larger SEC and larger Big 10 but Tennessee finished 17th and the coaches pulled last season so moving them up a couple of spots to 15 yeah that that's fine I don't have any issue with that yeah that's fair uh I'm not mad at where Tennessee is at all my like I said my my question mark was um Missouri Penn State and and seeing if LSU can really bounce back the benefit of the doubt of coaches and I guess programs do matter because we benefit from it too so I'm not even mad at LSU always benefits from that right I mean we question this defense and and look a new quarterback and all that stuff but I think because it's LSU you know it because they've got Brian Kelly you always see them a little bit high and they've got lot to live up to this season like I said I think they're in a in a a little bit of a window where they need to start like showing great Improvement not just like little bits of it all right I think they've earned that though haven't they I mean they won the SEC West and won Under Brian Kelly I don't have a problem with it necessarily I just think there's still a lot of things they need to get better I mean the defense is is an actual huge question mark of course this year yep two weeks away yes we are Georgia Tech FSU across the pond two weeks from Saturday crazy we made it it we have we're so back we'll talk more college football with Austin Price coming up at 8:20 this morning your phone call is at 61573 7 1045 maybe the surprise of the depth on 8 o'clock good morning from the 1045 The Zone Studios I am Robert Walsh Titans released their first unofficial depth chart of the year no shocking reveals but the Titans top two rookies JC leam and tandre SED both penciled in as starters as they head into the first preseason game in Kansas City the Chiefs Anne Harrison bucker agreed to a contract extension making him the new NFL's highest paid kicker extensions for four years worth $25 million with 17 million guaranteed at 6.4 million he is now the highest paid kicker over Justin Tucker and Jake Elliot who both average just 6 million per year some injury updates from around the NFL and MRI showed in Carolina yesterday that Panthers rookie receiver Xavier Legette did not suffer a fracture in his foot Legette left practice early Sunday with a lower leg injury Ram standout wide receiver puka nakua now considered to be weak to we after suffering a knee injury that is being described as quote not serious and this morning Adam schfer reporting that Lions cornerback Emanuel Mosley suffered a torn Peck in practice and is now out indefinitely Mosley tore his ACL in 2022 his right ACL in 2023 and is now suffered a torn peack in 2024 tough break for a very talented player for all your foundation repair and water proing needs visit usstn breaking news at once on your home for the Titans and the vs this is 1045 The Zone second half already kicking off your Tuesday Morning andon Kayla and will rkw 1045 The Zone with raone Foster and Kayla Anderson I'm will bowling Robert wall spinning the Hits Austin price of all quested on three coming up in just under 20 minutes Tennessee receives a commitment from another Nashville area high school football player as dca's Carson sne depicts the BS over Ohio State yesterday we'll talk to Austin about that about the top quarterback of the country who picked UT on Saturday and Jordan Thomas's injury putting him out for the season and who will step up in his place in the meantime your phone call is at 615 737 1045 the Titans unofficial depth chart dropping yesterday and Nicholas petite fra is the starting right tackle already for the Tennessee Titans out of a likelihood of 1 to 10 how confident are you that npf is your starting right tackle I give it an eight uh just based off of evaluations that I've seen and I'm glad to be wrong if somebody beats him out that means the best guy won or the competition got that much more close um I I I initially was was thinking that a guy like John and Juka was just that good can handle it but when you put the pads on it's just a different conversation um my confidence level is a eight for a guy like mpf and honestly somewhat got thrown off track last year because the suspension and the injuries that second year leap he missed out on and what I saw this past weekend looks like he's been working his butt off and he can uh be serviceable this year so we'll see I like the fact that he is getting to work with Bill Callahan while I think he has um some ways to go to being a great starter which I do believe he'll be I would say nine at this point just because I don't think the depth and the challenge right now is is is that great to challenge him to win the starting job I think he's done enough obviously in in the film room and he's had a good couple days of practice from what we've seen I know he's not been out there a long time but I just am curious to how good he can get CU he's he won the starting job back when he was a rookie that was between Dy Raiden yeah that came down you guys because I did that preseason game I remember we were actually reporting on that before the game saying this is a battle that's still going on in Camp um and then he ended up winning the job now how well did he he play that first season it wasn't anything spectacular but it was it was serviceable so now in your third year you're right when kind of missing that real big development jump year now what do you expect out of him I don't know and I think he'll be the starter and I think with Bill Callahan we could see some great jumps in his game but I'm G to wait to judge that until I see him in actual game action yeah I mean at this point unless he gets hurt he's a starter it's not exactly a ringing endorsement of Jonna Juku or Jaylen Duncan in the way they performed in Camp that to me is the head line how can a guy who's practiced twice already be your starter that there's two things that would have to be true in that or or one of the two right that npf he looked great before he had to have his knee scoped and really earned it in the you know optional part of the off season and when he was in the facility this off season or Juku and Duncan just haven't taken the opportunity and run with it and you know Bill mentioned to us when he spoke to us he goes I actually haven't seen that much of Nicholas petite FR there so that's what I'm saying I mean it's it's not exactly a a ringing endorsement of your depth that right tackle it's really not it's not and from what we've seen at practice it's shown too like um the one of ones is always where an offensive lineman is tested the most and then when you get in team settings and you can't properly run a passing Play Because Harold Landers and the quarterback's lap those whenever they you know that's one of the reasons why I never wanted like Hard Knocks being in in Pittsburgh while I was playing because again some guys have bad days you can get past that bad day but when you have two of the same types of days and they're bad like coaches do go to those meetings and they have hard conversations and they try to put guys in situation where they can be successful they prepare them for it but at the end of the day the truth is said behind those closed doors and again with what I evaluated from him in a couple of days that he was out there with pads on and Juku wouldn't have made me as comfortable in that position now here's the thing that's not to say he can't be a serviceable guy sure I think they preparing him to be a swing guy or still develop um his skill set but the day that npf walked out it looked different um I saw with my own two eyes Tony per B break one for a touchdown off the right side of the offensive line you understand that his ability to move people around is there thing the mpf has to do is get his legs underneath them get in football shape just like everybody else and if we trust his process to being hungry after the year that he's made then he should check every single one of those boxes well and I'm with you on the other two guys Jaylen Duncan and Juku had I'm talking about starts they I'm talking about they had a head start they had months huge to get to this point to keep him on the sideline and the new staff and the new staff and I don't think there's a hey he's a former third rounder and so we got to give it to him no everybody was given the equal opportunity here and those two guys now sitting at two and three on The Unofficial depth chart yep yeah it is unofficial to be fair uh after Saturday's practice though this is what the head coach had to say Brian Callahan speaking about Nicholas P fre you know I think he's practiced like he's he's a guy that missed playing football and and he's excited to be back out and I think he's had a nice two days back in pads you know this is really his first two days of practice um and it's been a good showing for him so far so we'll see as we stack some days and you get a little bit more sore a little bit more tired as the as the pads weigh down some but um I've been pleased with where he started at I think this week is critical for Nicholas petite frer because bran Callahan's exactly right the soreness the fatigue and the the get back of being out there for the first time in months and npf said I hadn't put on a helmet and shoulder pad since October right this week and how you respond to coming back from injury is critical it is and that coach Callahan mentioned that too brings up the fact that we always talk about I bring it up often is training camp sucks it just does it's an every single day thing it's a hey I had a great day yesterday can I have another great day today that's where he's missed that time on becoming a true Pro like he should be in you know autopilot mode in the sense of understanding how to play camp and go about it he's right if he get blisters on his feet will he go back out there if if he has a bad day protecting run blocking how does he bounce back that's what camp is all about but what he also said in the beginning he looks like a guy that understands the opportunities that are in front of them and one thing that you want is a motivated individual in these situations there's a lot that has to go into becoming a starter one that starts with consistency and that's what we hadn't consistently seen out of npf and for that matter any of the right tackle candidates we've seen zero consistency out of either one of them so my level of comfort in general is probably a four or five going into the season oh sure still just because of the fact that what can we say good that has come out of npf his F graad rookie year looked like a rookie then he gets suspended and now he's in a position to where I'm supposed to believe he's the guy and he's showing it so far but what does 18 weeks of a regular season look like for him when he's done it only once or was that 16 games for him that was 16 games for him and I think for this week you're right about it being a big week and next week with joint practices as well I think him playing in the game this week on top of having a good practice week will be big and how much we see like we mentioned earlier in the show that starting line worked together in the preseason game I do think it's a little bit important to have them working together you talk about chemistry all the time how it takes a while to build that maybe even year two to have that fully intact in terms of you know knowing what each other you know can do and and just knowing in your mind what they do so that's why I think it's important for for the line to kind of have a little bit of a a some time starting out there on Saturday because now you are adding mpf new to the equation at that right side as well Nicholas ptite FR talked a little bit over the weekend about playing for Bill Callahan and although they have not spent a lot of time together these are the early takeaways from the Titans right tackle about playing for his new o line coach it's all about uh working your hands um it's about making sure you play with a great base um we got we're going to be fast off the ball we're going to be physical we're going to be tough um those are the key tenant that he talks about he doesn't talk about hand placement and things like that so those are that we work on at a day-to-day basis and those are things that I've been grinding at trying to learn and trying to do and then also the technical side and mental side of football being able to understand plays understanding the playbook in and out and then understand the opponents were going up against I know we talk about it a lot anytime we visit with slay about guys coming back from injuries but the mental side needs to be as sharp as it's ever been when you're watching other people do what you would like to be out there doing slay talks about it all the time about how locked in he was to the mental side of basketball while he was out with a long-term injury yeah fair or unfair he has no room for error simply because of the physical side he has no part in it he got to be good mentally another commitment last night for Tennessee football V quests Austin Price will join us coming up next talking about that about the number one quarterback in the country who pledged for the BS over the weekend and who steps up with a starting defensive player out for the season the man who first reported that news V quests Austin Price joins us next hey it's Kayla so at I recently contacted weo hair because I'm kind of losing that hair up front yeah that's right I looked in the mirror one day you e e e e e e e e e e e e e the glass breaks and we talk vs every Tuesday at 8:20 here on Ramone Kayla and will rkw 1045 The Zone rone Foster Kayla Anderson will bowling joined by VA quests and on threes Austin price at Austin Priceless where you get the very best vs coverage on Twitter Austin what's up how are you I'm doing great guys I'm going to play golf in North Carolina today it's an off day for the BS and you know I'm staring at the Smoky Mountains which has that beautiful Smoky Haze across them right now I love it I cannot wait to see that view soon coming up to watch uh football in neand stadium Austin you guys had the report over the weekend uh first that Jordan Thomas is out for the season with a knee injury you mentioned in the article that this opens up the door for bu Carter does he get the first crack at that star position for Tennessee yeah in my opinion yes um you know I I think that they are going to move buo into that position and it's up to Buu over the next two to three weeks to prove he can handle it if he can handle it it'll be his spot to run with if he can't handle it then I think you'll see them adjust to whether it's you know uh jayen McMurray the temple transfer at coin will Brooks who played it a little bit last year I think a lot of a lot of the moving pieces there of who you know it is if it's not bu Carter will be dependent on kind of who steps forward there Jaylen uh does Jordan Matthews step up to allow Jaylen McMurray to be able to freelance a little bit does jacobe Thomas step up to allow But ultimately I think that this is BU Carter's job as long as boo can handle it so this is again will be dependent on boo but to me this is all bu Carter until he proves otherwise a said what are the early Returns on that secondary in a position with so many question marks who is receiving positive reviews uh in that corner and safety spot for Tennessee so far through fall Camp Ricky Gibson and germont McCoy have both performed extremely well they've had great Summers uh Tennessee's got a lot of High Hopes on the corners Jordan Matthews has had a strong summer which is good to see because I think Jordan you know probably got too down on himself at times when he would make a mistake I think when you play corner you you have to go into it knowing you're set up to fail before the ball's ever snapped and so I think he's kind of gotten past some of that he started to see some positive movement obviously you know mcmurray's played some at Temple and then Tennessee likes kind of the you know his mental makeup playing the position so you know they they like where they're at at corner especially with their two starters germont McCoy I think's got big time potential and you know you'll have him for two years and you'll have Ricky Gibson for two years at minimum obviously um which is you know which is Big to have some continuity there at corner Austin price with us this morning V question on three Austin on the other side of getting andri guys back how's the running backs looked with Peyton Lewis being back in the practice field and um of course if we can get a somewhat of an update on cam Seldon with that group also how have they looked in in training camp so far yeah cam continues to progress uh I think he'll be cleared to go by the start of the Season based off people I'm talking to I'm not sure if he plays against Chattanooga I think he'll be available for NC State again as of right now barring any setbacks it certainly feels like he's ahead of schedule and and we be good to go but at some point they're going to need to get you know the rust knocked off on him as for the other guys pyton Lewis is really impressed you know through the first you know week and a half of fall Camp uh talked to a couple of players and you know they were seeing his praises and kind of you know what he brings to the table how you know how he runs his ability to cut and and so he reminds me a lot his ability to kind of one one step cut and go of Arian Foster a guy you played with rot um you know not as tall as Arion um but at the same time like he is a bigger back I mean is he cam seld in big no but he's not small either I mean he he's deceptive with how with his size so desan Bishop continues to come along obviously Dylan Samson is the lead back here and they got to keep him healthy through fall camp but you know to this point you know without any major scrimmages being played you know they're happy with where they are at the running back position Austin I'll admit a flaw of mind it is just thinking stuff sometimes just going to work out you know maybe because hey I've always had the mindset it'll be fine right that's always my mindset with that being said I think a lot of us vs fans are thinking we just sprinkled some dust on malava and he's just going to be this fivar automatically awesome with that being said how has he looked in training camp with his relationship with his wide receivers his command of this offense has he looked like the guy as far as what you've seen and what the coaches are allowing you to report well we're never out there for anything meaningful remot okay but they stopped the people I've spoken to um yes he has been really really good a couple of days ago he led them down right down the field on a couple of 70 yard drives now the one one time he did throw the back shoulder ball that got picked off by jamod McCoy saw it on Twitter um T he tweeted out just didn't tweet who was throwing it but that was Nico um but he literally made three or four plays on that drive I was told that where you know they they just weren't able to make those type plays a year ago and and so there's a lot of excitement out there about just kind of his ability to make plays his ability to improvise eyes his ability to keep his eyes down the field um when things break down and and make plays on the Run they love the way he's throwing the football and uh he's got a nice group of weapons to throw to brw McCoy looks like he's getting healthier and healthier by the day you know Chris Brazzle has brought in or has been brought in to to really kind of help establish and solidify the you know the receiver position he's done that they'll get Mike Matthews back I think this week and so they're going to get deeper and deeper at the white out spot and let's not forget about Caleb Webb and Chaz Nimrod two kids who had to play last year probably weren't truly ready but have had tremendous off seasons and they're basically saying we're not going quietly into the night and just being relegated to you know the same old role we want to be back you know out there on the field in the fall and and Chaz nrod and KB web or playing playing like it Austin price of V Quest joining us here on RK dub this morning yeah and that's actually you a little bit in a way answered my question but I was going to ask you about those wide receivers early on in Camp because that's the thing Josh hyp did in particular talk about Chaz Nimrod and from the body standpoint too like he's physically gotten himself into a really good position yeah again Kurt Schmidt does a really nice job I think for years years the the strength coach here got a lot of publicity who no matter who it was and like nobody really ever talks about Kurt Schmidt but quietly like you look at how this team looks and it does a really nice job and you know that's every position including you know the receiver position so you know they've done a nice job of kind of transforming their bodies I think you know part of it too is like that for for Nimrod it's the number change like you just you look a little different going from 81 to 11 and um so you know I think for him it's it's just the confidence level that he's carrying right now that maybe he didn't have one to two years ago and he has a lot of belief that you know he's going to play this fall and I do think he'll play this fall now the question is does he crack the starting lineup I'm Noto ready to go there but I do think that Kelsey Pope's going to play a bigger rotation this fall than he played at any point in his couple years touching receivers here Austin when it comes to the offensive line um how have they looked early on and specifically with John Campbell Jr moving to right tackle how how is he looking yeah he's been a little bit banged up uh you know I think he's going to be fine long term but any guys like pooper John Campbell even Lance herd who had like a you know miniscus cleanup back in July they're being cautious with because they are a little bit deeper on the offensive line so they can throw some reps you know early in Paul Camp to Larry Johnson and to some of these players that that really kind of need the work to kind of come along so if you're John Campbell I I want to quot like the Orlando Pace you know like Orlando Pace probably the last decade of his career never went through training camp remone you know like he's like no I've done this like John Campbell's a six seventh year guy like I'm not sure how incentivized he is to you know be going through fall camp like he's a first year guy and and I think that's kind of natural but yeah he's been a little bit banged up and they're being cautious with him and as far as the right side he he's good I mean I've T to multiple people that have said he's he's he's ran with it since the move and I'm not sure he really wanted to move but it was what it was when they got Lance her and so you know now John Campbell's you know working on the right side but the biggest thing is just trying to be healthy for game one August 31st against Chattanooga vquest awesome price joining us this morning onone Kayla and will as he does Tuesdays here at 8:20 on the show Austin the number one quarterback in the country commits to Tennessee over the weekend in FA on Brandon we've talked a lot with you about his skill set and henden hooker's role in that recruitment what makes him different from the other quarterbacks in his class and what sold Tennesse on his potential youth youth I mean he he very young for his age young for his grade and big kid I mean you go mean I'm not saying I'm tall but I'm also not five5 um if you go and watch my interview with him I me he Towers over me and this is a kid who is going to continue to get bigger and you know everybody likes to make the jokes on the general scores the growth plates are wide open I mean he literally was 15 in May he's 16 now he turned it first part of June and you know he will if you think about two years from now he will go through six months of you know Spring ball and and winter workouts as a 17year old on campus he he's a lot like shady Hayward is Shady just turned 17 so he'll be the same way next year I mean he's a young for his age and same way Darnell Wright was when he was at Tennessee so I think the the upside the youth all that you know is a is a big feather in his cap as far as between the white lines kid throws a a great ball has a great pocket presence and command and you know Joey hallsley and Josh hyp did a fantastic job of developing a relationship with him early on his mom and dad fell in love with Knoxville and mom came off the elevator you know a week ago and was like Austin we are home and she just had a big smile on her face and she was just you you know she's like I I've known this place was special since the first time we came here and she was just so happy and so this is a a family that's super excited to be uh you know committed to Tennessee well Austin it's obviously hard to project down the road who's going to succeed niik Willam alava considering Nico's only made one start but with the age for fa on Brandon does that make him a bit more of a longer term project is is George McIntyre still kind of in the mix there to be the next man up how do you assess that cuz we tell people all the time right you can never have too many good quarterbacks heck Ohio State won a national championship with their third string not too long ago but uh what does this battle look like between a lot of top 10 quarterbacks in their classes who are going to be assembled in the same room in not too long yeah I wouldn't call him pH on a project that's think he just mean he's just younger sure he's going to get better the the older he gets I I don't know we're multiple years away from even thinking about such a thing obviously you know Jake merklinger is going to have something to say about that um you know George will be here for a full year before fison ever arrives and so I think all that helps the guys that have been in the room and I think you know for George it's about putting weight on you know it's about you know continuing to progress in his own game kids got you know unreal upside and his ability to move around and and and make plays um you know is you know when things break down I think is it's it's it's right up there I wouldn't say it's the best in the country but it's it's right up there with with the vest I mean he's he he does a fantastic job I think with Paul Wade head coach of brenwood Academy I think they G be the most improved team in the state I really do Paul Wade's GNA do nothing flashing nothing that dude wins period sure does and you know GE George I think is going to benefit from him being the coach and we're super excited up here in the Knoxville Market because we're going to do brenwood Academy at Knoxville Catholic that's one of our rivalry Thursday broadcasts which is the Thursday before the Florida game so like put George in town you know a day earlier you know um you know than than normal or two days earlier than normal so I know the family's excited about being up here in Knoxville for a couple of days that weekend and so yeah I think Georgia someone who you know has all kinds of potential so who knows how that that quarterback you know battle will play out either way I'm with you I think if you're Tennessee just take them all and figure it out because it's it's a good problem to have uh Austin never brag on wol school like that again talking the smile IDE what you're talking ba he's just like just full of Glee right now your word against mine um atin with that being said said getting a number one guy in a recruiting cycle the way they have with Faison Brandon in years past and you studying recruiting and whatnot what has that done for recruiting classes does that say hey we're ahead of the curve on getting these four and five star guys that also come to Tennessee what can be sold with a guy like fa on Brandon recruit like committing this early in his commit I mean his in his recruiting well it obviously helps I the one thing GE George got in not as as phason but he got in the one perk to George was he was always two and a half hours away Faison's five so he's not going to be able to run over here like George was here so much helping recruit that was such a big deal for this class I mean he was always present and I'm not sure fison can do that so it's a big deal I think with the fact that Tennessee is you know in the state of North Carolina trying to do some big time work they've done it the last few classes in fact if you think about this for the last five years if if if Tennessee lands David Sanders on the 17th they've already got faas on so out for the last five years on three came into existence when James Pierce was a senior so Charles power ranked him the number one player in the state of North Carolina so in 22 they got or 22 they got James Pierce 23 they got David hob who is the number two player in the state of North Carolina by on three I'm just doing the on three rankings not the composite not anything else 24 there was nobody 25 if if they get Sanders he's the number one player in the state and and Faison's number one in 26 by on three that's four out of five years you'll assigned the number one or number two player in the state of North Carolina and that's a heck of a run and guess what go back to the 90s yeah when was Tennessee good when they were dominating the Carolinas they were having success in Georgia and were staying in the footprint and guess what cherry picking kids out of California they've done that a little bit with Nico and you know we'll see who else so um there's a there's a recipe a formula for success and Josh hpel and them right now are doing a nice job of you know pulling some of that off wow V Quest Austin Price joins us Tuesdays here on the show I might be playing hookie from the The Zone High School football game of the week that weekend before the Tennessee Florida game Austin thank you for join us we appreciate you appreciate you guys thank you yes sir there he is I just want to watch good football oh boy no I I in all kidding aside though I I do agree with him that uh George and that team will be the most improved team in the state they are uh they've added a Georgia kit up front and Stephon shyers as well who's going to have fun but I think for for Tennessee fans specifically I I kind of knew the the answer to that question about who's next after Nico but it is one that I'm getting a lot mhm talking to Tennessee fans who are like what what about George what about like well how is this all going to work and uh I think the thing that you answer with that is that again Cardell Jones won Ohio State a national championship as a third string quarterback yeah it's not a a bad problem to have like Austin said just just just stack them up here and then then we'll we'll decide exactly by the way we went through all that man shout out to Carson sne man uh DCA yes fourar tight end man I know we l with update with it but shout out to him for staying home picking UT of Ohio State georia whoever else it was in that kind Michigan so uh congratulations to him man for sure yeah absolutely number nine tight end in the country according to on three early in the class of 2026 but uh DCA product right here in the middle of our Zone footprint so uh good to see uh Tennessee getting a guy over Ohio State you're in their backyard 615 737 1045 we've got Michigan allegations at an NOA draft to get to and we've got Nashville SC back in Action tonight that's next e e e e e e e e e e e e e e e rolling Right Along on your Tuesday Morning Ramone Kayla and will rkw 1045 The Zone 61573 7145 the number in the meantime before Ron slay joins us in a half hour tonight 6:30 Nashville SC versus New England Revolution game two and the final game of the leagues Cup group stage uh the scenarios are simple today Guys Nashville in order to advance has to beat New England Revolution by two goals or more to advance if they win by two they finish second in the group they would host DC United in the round of 32 of leagues cup if they win by three plus goals they win the group they go through and they would get nycfc at home Patrick yasbeck making his debut last timeout as Nashville lost 2-0 last week to mazlan finish it up League leagues cup and BJ Callahan saying yesterday Walker Zimmerman might be available oh yeah a decision uh is still to be made on whether or not he will participate tonight as the US Olympic team was knocked out 4-0 on Friday against Morocco so so uh he's back in the States and is being assessed and potentially might make his return tonight that'd be great would be a big deal you you over the US dropping the ball in the Olympics I don't think they dropped the ball okay that's just what they are right now Morocco is uh is an excellent team that was in the World Cup semifinal in Qatar and Morocco also brought most of their best players who were under 23 okay uh the us. Olympic team was um a makeshift roster of a lot of good players Walker one of the really good overage players but uh there were many under 23 players for the United States who competed at Copa America who chose that competition instead of the Olympics okay to participate in which is what many uh countries did so Olympics just getting to The Knockout stage was uh solid for the US and they ran into a buz saw Morocco uh who just barely lost to Spain the other day uh probably the favorite to win the bronze medal uh coming up later this week so they are uh they are a wagon real quick how does like doing you know things like the leagues cup maybe benefit a team that can make it further I mean does it give you confidence uh there's a balance I mean last season Nashville uh struggled after making the leagues Cup Final cuz there's an emotional and physical hangover to playing essentially a championship in the middle of the season when you had 10 games to go now you have nine games to go so it It's Tricky I I think it looks different for every team BJ Callahan though when asked about that at his introductory press conference was asked like how intensely do you attack leagues cup and how much do you really try to go for it and he said we've got nine games left in the season we're outside the playoff picture right now so every game where we can practice our process is important for this team right now so every game that we can play before going in with basically a nine game group stage he said like a nine game tournament in order to make the playoffs as valuable so uh they want to win they want to advance and they want to continue challenging themselves to to figure out what their process looks like under a new head coach but I I'd be lying if I didn't say there is a benefit to them getting knocked out tonight and essentially having a two-e training camp under their new head coach to get ready for August 24th when MLS play resumes against Austin I going to say is this coach BJ's Callahan's first I guess session with this squad right here moving forward team long does it Tak for a coach and soccer to incorporate their methods cuz I know certain methods that coaches have the expectation of the the product on the field is where now you mentioned leagues cup like they're they're pressed to actually score like is this what they're going to be at I mean are they capable of doing this under coach BJ Callahan and his his new staff Yeah It's tricky because they are changing a lot of the foundational strategy that Nashville SC has had and it's for four years of existence and Nashville is one of three clubs in MLS history to make the postseason each of their first four seasons as an expansion team it's not easy to do a lot of those ideas worked but for NSC 2.0 I you're really going to see the entire BJ Callahan method be applied in 2025 so right now it's trying to understand all right how many of these players can play my system versus how many you know things are we going to have to just make it work for now without to implementing my way of thinking in the present but it from what he has said uh they want to be aggressive they want to press they want to get in behind defenses versus um the way things have been maybe previously so that was his big message yesterday was we had moments to get in behind and we didn't take him against maon last week so a lot of changes are being made for this team and I think fans are going to love the style of play this team is going to play in the future uh it is going to be very front foot very aggressive and quick uh in the way that they want to attack teams so uh 6:30 tonight Apple TV that game is free tonight by the way on Apple TV so uh do not have to have an MLs season pass subscription to watch it uh it is free on the Apple TV app NSC inet Stadium against New England Revolution uh winnable game I will say for the poison gold especially if Walker Zimmerman is able to go 615 737 1045 we'll talk about Michigan's notice of allegations the draft that has been given out what it means for their new head coach we'll get to Andy on the phone 615 737 1045 and start Hour 4 coming up next e e e e Ramone Foster Kayla Anderson and Robert Walsh myself will bowling shiron Moore is in trouble we'll talk about that coming up in a moment Andy's been waiting patiently in Clarksville to talk some Titans with us this morning what's up Andy how are you actually I've been waiting so long I'm now in Nashville me there we go I respect it but uh we you were talking about uh the Titans offensive line when uh I first got on and uh you know I think all Titans fans are more optimistic about the offensive line for several reasons I mean we signed Kos one of the best centers that was out there and with the fir with the seventh pick in the 2024 NFL draft uh the Titans selected Alabama offensive tackle JC leam excited about that but I think most people are excited about offensive line Jesus OJ Bill Callahan and I'm wondering Ramon uh you know what have you seen in uh practice from coach Callahan the the Thousand little things the hand placement the foot placement so what is The Big Ragu learned from OJ I'll hang up and listen No Doubt great question what I've learned from this he has and every day is the same approach type and attitude with these guys they are non-stop working they are very technical on how they go about their practices they our group that at the end of the day they're doing simply football movements drill in from each drill to the next drill and it's carried over into game periods also that's what I've seen from them now there's a couple of things I had this conversation with Ron slay on Saturday about there's one thing that I will nitpick but here I'm not o line Jesus I'm not being coached by Bill Callahan either the Apostle Paul yes yes exactly Sim Peter I'm not going up against him but there's one there's one critique y'all that I have that purp that I I somewhat do not understand yet and I think it well I'll say this it may be a practice thing that he's asking these guys to do but for instance if I am a right tackle and I'm setting out to Harold Landry he has his group shooting the right hand which is what you don't do in most situations because if I shoot my right hand and you have a defensive end swipe it there's no recovery unless you spin a around exactly fair enough and to a man from left to right I've seen all of them punch with their outside hand as opposed to inside leverage interesting that's my only critique now again I'm not in the meetings I don't understand what he's telling them and why they are doing it and it may just be a practice thing to get used to doing those things I also seen this group jump guys meaning say h and they're on them quick instead of setting back right I do notice as mpf also said too they come off the ball fast mhm some mindset of coaches is if I come off and I'm in an attacking situation I set the fight I let you know where I'm going what I determine what's going to happen on the play that has been consistent with this group they are aggressive they have low Pat level they are finisher type of guys too my only critique is or my only question mark is why the outside hand on pass rushes because if you watch anybody's tape defensive lineman are double swiping as if they're in the karate class or Judo class to where if they get you to turn and they got outside leverage to bend the corner and get to the quarterback is fast now again practice is also for what practicing what works for you we'll see this upcoming Saturday if they change the way they're being the way they play the game as the way they practice the game too but I'm encouraged is there room to still grow absolutely um and I I I told Ron this the other day Savage I was like that's the only thing that I could nitpick is the use of the outside hand that's interesting I wish you could actually just ask Callahan that well like why why incorporate that in practice or is that something exactly and and again he's been touted and I believe this also it's one of the best to do I'll have to go back and look at um Cleveland's tap now that I've seen it here in Nashville but technically um mentally I saw a guy jump offside this past weekend the next play he was immediately out you know what I'm saying so mental preparedness is going to be on the front of those guys and physically being put in a situation to understand that we are the dictators not the guys we're the hammer not the nail uh I like that approach from they are aggressive um and they are very athletic too from this group of offensive linemen so far asking coach Bill Callahan this now that I've seen it I want to see if this is just a practice thing or if it's a game like that yeah it's really interesting to I'm keeping my eye out for it this weekend interesting well uh shiron Moore is in trouble the uh new Michigan head coach one of seven members from the 2023 football program accused of violating NCAA rules in a draft of the nca's notice of allegations which was obtained over the weekend by ESPN it states that Chiron Moore could face a show cause penalty and possibly a suspension for allegedly deleting a threat of 52 text messages with former Michigan Stafford Connor stallion on October 23rd the same day that media reports revealed stallions was leading an effort to capture the play calling signals of future opponents this is essentially when Bane tells the other people on the plane before it crashes they're going to expect one of us in the rubble yeah Connor stallions is the one in the rubble for sure I to to me see here's what sucks for them Conor stallions and uh coach how do you say Shan Shan Moro shiron Moore shiron Moore I'm threw his name all I was calling him Marone okay uh what sucks for them is this when the cheating got brought up they started winning the era in which they started winning was when their mole was taking everybody else's signals now again Harbaugh's gone he's left coach behind and Conor stallion's got two documentaries out right now what sucks is they may actually pull this national championship and the evidence is there it's a matter of the NCAA is going to actually Flex this type of power to say you didn't start doing certain things until we were you were alleged to be cheating like the writing's on the wall with everything that he's done they I ain't saying they weren't good enough and I I am of the mindset in sports if you ain't cheating you ain't trying if you can't be at second base looking at the signals of the catcher if you can't understand the sideline signals from the defens of coordinator coming into the game if I'm not walking up to the line of scrimmage to hear what the offense is calling you really ain't trying to win the thing that sucks for them is they actually have athletes to win games they just went so far as to cheat like we have the flake gate we have spy gate in the NFL like Michigan is in that conversation to me moving forward on this National Championship that they just finally got here and not only did they win but they dominated with the stuff that Conor stallion was telling them that's what sucks about this whole process it's this whole thing is weird that it continues to things continue to trickle out about it right because it it does fog up some things but just in terms of Michigan's program moving forward it will be interesting because with Harbaugh not there and I know they believed in more during last season when when Harbaugh was obviously suspended and couldn't be on the field coaching it's almost like some of those games they rallied for Harbaugh and you know more and were able to have this kind of mentality last year that like we will not go down and I wonder moving forward with this new head coach who now has to prove he can do it consistently has to prove now he can beat Ohio State cuz Harbaugh did it in the last few years I really am curious with Michigan's program they got momentum from what they did last year but can they sustain that momentum and I'm talking too about the future and recruiting and all of that too Greg is in Nashville 61573 7145 what's up Greg hey good morning everybody morning morning Hey listen I I got to let you guys know man I I gotta jump in real quick because I think y'all are all off base on this whole Michigan thing I know we're in SEC country and I'm all about the SEC until my son went to Michigan I could care less about the Big 10 but I will give you 100% facts there's nothing going to happen to Michigan in this other than maybe a financial suspension and or a couple of game coaches game suspension other than that there is nothing we're talking about proof but there is no proof all they've proven is that Conor stallions was doing something elaborate with his scouting and that's it and other than that they can't pin it to any coach on the staff if they had that Michigan certainly is not foolish enough to hire uh uh Mo as the head coach they knew all of this back last fall none of this is new this is information they've been holding and the NC released a quote draft of an of an NOA I mean who leaks a draft of a notice of an allegations you release the entire thing if you have it we don't even know that the notice of a allegation that they're going to receive is what ESPN is talking about yep I totally agree with you so as as far as the championship it's it's intact it's safe there's nothing going to happen the only time the NCAA has ever uh taken anything away from anybody from a game suspension is when players are involved and there's no players involved in this what you're dealing with is a rogue individual everyone assumes the coaching staff knew about but the NCAA has not been able to prove that the coaches knew what he was doing outside of his normal scouting duties remember Conor stallions was their Elite scouter he was the guy responsible for breaking down signals the coaches didn't necessarily know how he was going about doing his job and when this came out Chiron immediately reached out to him and said hey man what are you doing and then deleted the textes and laate the text messages and later returned and gave that to the NCAA now if those text messages had something damning in it then Chiron never would have been would have been fired in October when this came out but there was nothing in those text messages that linked him to having knowledge of what Conor was doing outside of normal scouting duties thank you Greg yeah those are some great points um I'll stick to so what I was saying about Michigan though I still think there is a lot of work now with the new head coach they've got the guys still right they've got the talent you've got an expanded Big 10 I still feel like Michigan now is not anywhere back near square one at all but now it's kind of like okay now what can you do with Harbaugh gone and yeah there's still all these things that circle around I'm just curious as to what they do this year compared to how big last year was for them let me go find out who Greg key it is right I do think 52 text messages are pretty damning like I I I genuinely do think that this was too complex of an operation for no full-time staffers to know about it I think Jim Harbaugh probably knew about it but again I I do agree with his larger point that you can't prove that and their their Championship is is safe especially now in the area where in the era where the NCA is just going to get sued if they go overboard here so they're testing the waters and leaking out a draft of the notice of allegations to understand you know litigation wise what they can and can't get away with that way they don't lose hundreds of millions more in lawyer fees and things of that nature that's probably why Harbaugh is so confident like the guy who's outside the bar he's already been kicked out he's not going to get his ass kicked where he's like I'm not apologizing I'm not saying I'm sorry that's why he's shaking the Hornets now sure that's right coming up Ron slay yeah yeah yes big time basketball coming up today Team USA against Brazil talk about that with slay and uh get into what he wants to see from Titans and 49ers this upcoming weekend with bigger kids so that's a year up sorry yeah that's even better that's even better Yeah by way your wild is huge hey guess what guess what Savage you know I I you know how long I I had this bad boy man that that's old Gucci right there yeah man you mean oh wait let me see got are those both Gucci okay no doing his best rone Foster impression having a fat wallet in guess what I had this so long man I I have bring y'all my other I'm a listen y'all I'm slick a little baby little hoarder baby little I don't I hate getting rid of stuff I hate like you really got to go in there somebody got to clean my stuff out or I got to lose it or it got to fall apart my other wallet I had I got it when I got over to um Italy in about 07 mhm and I held on I just broke this I bought this one in about 14 or 15 oh man and I just broke it out about a year ago because the one that I brought in 07 started to fall apart mhm and it was so many little cards in I was like man this is I don't had enough of this keep on walk then I pulled it out one day and I saw people look at my thread on the Gucci was falling off I was like now y'all ain't first of all y'all ain't going to look like me like I'm broke that's what I just to say may think look at me like so I got this one now you mean Savage making fun of me cuz it's old but funny cuz it's old it's just that you don't wear pans with pockets that big no more you right you right about that guess what the only reason I got it out cuz I I was ripping and running man I had to go some water yeah real quick man had other little things but yeah was great that's all I have what up Will my little distraction hey man let me say one more thing cuz I ain't seen my folks man in so long hey man shout out to Greg calling in cleaning up some things right there that was pretty cool but I thought what you hit him with at the end yes we in secc country so we going to look at it differently and yes his son goes to Big 10 School especially Michigan so they going to look at get it differently but right there in the middle at some point I thought um you got to explain it can't be man what you doing 52 times in the text message right that's the only you know what I mean like even if it ain't nothing damning you know what I mean when Rick patino went with went through what he went through at Louisville and that had something to do with the players and we had somebody coming out speaking it was an eyewitness that wanted to speak that was involved in it still at the same time with Rick saying hey man I I don't know what that was and he had a fall guy and he really didn't get in trouble for it but then they the championship away at some point dog you as a head coach are not oblivious to what's going on in your program and I know it's a lot of athletes that you got to look over a lot of Staff you got to look over but man look here man if it takes place a month all right they probably skimmed by me I didn't get to see that but like he just said from October all the way through to the National come on now it's a long now I you know what I mean like okay so I don't want to be SEC afterward I don't want to be big 10 eye to it but if I'm just sitting in the middle if I'm in the ACC and I'm looking wait a minute somebody got to explain this to me 52 10 cool M that's a oversight you know I mean like yeah we was I was going back and forth with him he had some good stuff to tell me about such and such and that was good work done 52 though 30 of them is hey man you need to watch your right side when they like you feel come on dog you know I mean but I would love to it I you know I'm not I'm not for uh taking championships away cuz you can't really take it away of the play the game been played you know what I mean so and when n gave Reggie back his hosman that's pretty much that that really stamped everything like Hey Y'all we've been messing up when uh when you were overseas did you guys cheat were there any like different ways to cheat uh the basketball absolutely we had a guy um was it Valerio Spinelli um I'll never forget him man like he would we beat taquan Dean hit a game-winning shot for us taan Dean taan Dean hit a gamewinner shot right look at that ti so he had a game winning shot um and we all on the court in avalino in the south of Italy celebrating you know what I mean got them up in in the out and we see three of our teammates walking off the court going over to the tunnel and they were Italians I'm like wait a well let's go and keep celebrating but then we'll get to them when we got in the locker room we was like hey man what what was y'all doing man no what about they've been betting on the game they were oh bet on the game so they was the three Italians were and one of them was backup point guard spelli you know what I mean where he could he got a control of the show and then he was playing ugly you know what I mean you know I'm like little silly turnovers he was just doing just enough to keep it where it was where he don't really play like that you know what I mean so all we got on that we got on them about that you feel me Porter played diddly it messed up right exactly it messed up our locker room and our chemistry too though man cuz it if you could made it split yeah and then it made the young Italians you know I mean that looked up to them because they were vets kind of have to choose like versus American at this time we we were we had like five five Americans on our team you really supposed to have three but we had two passports so yes so it was realiz split you know what I mean in the locker room it to our little team up man it was everywhere we went it was Americans versus Italians what's up you know I mean it was ugly man and practicing everything so yeah that's a thing you can't have more than like a few yeah you supposed Canadian Football League too NLS is that way m am of international spots but if a guy has a US passport they count as a US player in terms of the roster yeah then you get like a domestic guy you know somebody from Europe that you can add in but that's how every European soccer league is too you got to have a certain amount of like homegrown players international players and guys with passports uh it's a perfect segue into my next question slay let's do it us Brazil at 2:30 yes the US is on the easy side of the bracket easier side of the bracket I should say uh to win gold uh they face a Brazilian team that has only won one of its three games in Paris 10284 over Japan um the betting line for this without looking maybe you already know it I don't if you're putting a line on us Brazil I've got the official ESPN bet number in front of me what would you handicap this game at um just because I I don't really think a a blowout is 20 but I don't expect none them any any of them to get out of hand um so I would say what 28 you're remarkably close wow 26 and A2 so you should betus 26 it's interesting the way Steve Kerr has managed the the players in this group because Jason Tatum had a dnp then Joel embiid had a did not play like you've had genuine Superstars just be like totally out of the rotation Steve curis kind of mixed and matched a little bit and has really developed different rotations and essentially they're doing line changes when Kevin Durant and and those guys come in and then Steph Curry and LeBron and it's kind of the way they're operating this thing but is that just a preparation for the worst case scenario of a game getting closer than maybe we think it would be like at what point and maybe it's this point now in The Knockout stage does Steve cerr operate this a bit more conventionally man I think what he's done is picked up on the European game being around pop and knowing they they coach the gamees that's the way it goes like it's a lot of times that you will get core guys maybe three of them that's going to consistently start in European ball um in international basketball so uh you get those guys but then the rest of them you tend to match up to depend on who you playing against and I think that's what it's coming from is and I wish he would have came out and said this early he said it after right before everything went down with Tatum about man this is don't get caught up in the hoopla this is not about guys going out there playing 30 minutes and scoring 80 points so whatever it may be this is about the matchups and what do we feel which which group will work good with each other you know what I'm saying sometime you're going to need more of a an offensive um an offensive group on the floor to go out and score and put the other team at a disadvantage because they can't defend sometime you need a defensive group to go out there and be able to get you know I mean get stops and know that that pressure defense is going to turn in the points and it may not be a guy like MB that can get in there right away and play that role it might be bam or something like that may be a maybe ad can't play this game because they got a big guy that's put him in foul trouble maybe you need him be just to be there for his presence you know what I'm saying so it's a lot of stuff man and I think he's he's he's um he's bought in to the international play and you got to know that going into it and him being on the bench with Coach K and you know being being around pop and being able to talk to these guys and pick their brain I think that bled over into his thoughts going into the Olympics and you got guys on the bench that have been there as well as far as Tyron Lou and other coaches so it's a mix of guys and it's one thing for sure he's not making the um the only decision it's a guarantee that they're talking about this soon as the game is over just like you give a scout to somebody else you get a scout Mo get a scout uh we'll get a scout and when it comes up what's the strengths that we going to have walking into this game cuz it's totally separate than this other game we just played sure you know what I mean so I think that's he's doing a good job of mastering that in Brazil should be one of those times where I don't know what lineup he going to put out but I would go probably with a big lineup you know know I mean and try to you know control the boards control the paint make them shoot from the outside to see if they can knock down threes and those long shots we get the rebound we gone cuz they can't run with us you know what I'm saying but you got to finish with the board so we'll see how it go and when you look at this group though too we've been txting about at watching the games and every single time we're just like wow this wow that Easy Money Sniper okay KD slim Reaper the slim Reaper like one this group working together the way they are um Steph everybody's playing defense are you a a little upset with how they are going about playing defense in an international game as opposed to the NBA or is just because it's such a short window they got to give it off that's what it is I think it's the short window I think man over an 82 game stretch you have the opportunity to say you know what man we ain't got it tonight man this is hey man we all right they up 10 they up 15 with about 6 minutes left pack it up let's go on we ready for small man we got we got 81 more of these you know what I'm saying and then we probably going to go on the 10 game win streak that'll councel this out at some point anyway you know what I mean then you got to imagine also it's eight more minutes thrown on those games in the NBA games too so that 40 minute window is difference the illegal defense that's in the NBA doesn't allow you to be able to sit in the lane and sometimes rest while guys are sitting there dribbling and playing one-on-one that you can doing the internet so you can pick your spots better um um when you look at it it is it is frustrating though I will say that um but with the smaller window I kind of understand what it is um that's why I think man at some point I know there's so much money coming in and everybody wants to see them play if they could shorten the season from 82 to maybe what 70 yeah take 12 games out maybe extend each Playoff round or put that midseason tournament in make it mean a little bit more um I think you could get away with it a little bit but that's a long haul through the season October all the way to June um if you go to the finals that's a long time man so it's only so much you can ask and then also on the USA team you playing with other stars yeah so it's easy to be held accountable like knowing that all I got to do is go play 20 minutes 25 minutes max and somebody's coming in and it ain't no drop off right you know what I mean you kind of holiday didn't play the last that's wow and he's man he's the guy I can't think of nobody's been on a better three-year run than Drew holiday especially walking away from the game to do to handle the stuff had going on with his wife to come back to go win a chip then win another chip then about to win gold like that is a hell of a run he's by the way will had a light bulb go off the other day what happened he said a Anthony Ed wrong I'm an idiot I'm an IDI and I was wrong no you no you a no you a will because guess what you always admit though you don't watch the game like that no and then you got to imagine what Market he's in he's in Minnesota so as dope as he is we don't see way more John probably than we don't seen Anthony Edward I have loyalty to the US I have no loyalty to any NBA team understand that's understandable but you knew coming into a dude he is that dude and he talks the way he talks with a a purpose and man he sit right KD to like No all he backs up the talk dude and he one of them people you want in the room like he's going to liveing it up you know I mean have a good time and then he going to go out there and give it his all because he has to he just talked about it you know what I mean like now so you you all right cuz you already admitted it you know what I mean like I don't I don't watch this game I mean so it's understandable that's why I was like though hey man I'm telling you it's man talking like this for a reason and it's it's always something to be said if I come out and say something and nobody else speaks up right you feel what I'm saying true kind of like what npf did took the job twice I want to see why I can't do it a third time when that man hey boy that man slick one me right on over with that one right there got to tell me nothing else I see you on Tuesday I mean on Wednesday when practice open up I got to ask you real quick 58 game unbeaten Run for the women real quick just you know what they've done up to that point dope man love love to see it um the dominant fashion I think with them the game is as physical um but it's man they they have that different prowess about them when they walk it's like when Asia Wilson say all right enough is enough y'all give me Rock everybody move I'm going to get it and then defensively you got the same thing going on chess grav starting to come back in form like dude that's what they were missing with the aces you got to imagine they won that Championship without her being on the floor you know what I'm saying and she was coming back and now she's starting to get back in the form it's going to be a I I tell you what just continue watching the women and understand that's going to translate to them coming back in the WNBA getting ready going in the playoffs it's going to be a fun playoffs man it's going to be real I hope everybody getting rest like they supposed to I saw Angel Reese was the yacht and kick Kay CL probin no tell what they doing but hey man I hope they rested and ready to go cuz these people is no I'mma keep on saying this nobody ever ever participates in World Games Olympics any of these International and you asked the question earlier and they'll spot on um do you think it's like a slick a little advantage to be able to play in these games yes it is cuz when you see these teams taking pre um preseason trips to Italy and France and things like that they always come back and play well all these players when KD started to emerge it was from the world games when Kyrie started to merge the world games that's why I said coming back Anthony Edwards you practicing against dogs day in and day out it's GNA be fun man uh Serbia Australia very fun by by the way right now I've got it on in front of me 9390 and overtime austral austral yic is going crazy is look at that see man he's going crazy uh more on that coming up 615 573 7145 uh I have got a public public service announcement of something I need you all to make an appointment to watch today M yes it's going to be in track and field that won't surprise any of you it is the Marquee rivalry of the Olympics is happening today so I'm going to tell you what that is okay and we're going to get the player slay uh is most intently watching as preseason game one happens that's not named trm Burks that's next e e e e e e e e e e e e e e wrapping up the show rone kayin will rkw 1045 The Zone uh a lot of headlines to get to here quickly at the end of the program with Ron slay in studio this from Pete thill a few minutes ago this is a real I had to make sure this was not a fake account this is real International recording artist Pitbull is purchasing the naming rights to fiu's football stadium he is expected to pay the school 1.2 million per year for the next 5 years to change the name of FIU Stadium to Pitbull Stadium per FIU board documents I would love to be in the conversation with the one five-year-old like Dad who was pitpull was he to play no son that's Mr worldwide that's no that's nuts surprised it's only 1.2 million honestly really incredible I wish Buck would have found that International Pitbull instead of picking up that little dog see dog finds a home by the way yeah I thought B should have took him back up there man the people dropped him off at the groom and police place for a reason they probably somebody looking for that dog like he to the dog like I'm coming I'm coming in he said they open the 10 they probably come in about 8:30 or 9 and like man what happened to the dog just took the dog is the cage still sitting there he know it it got fle the damn dog cuz it was in the cage usually they just drop it off and CH up on the tree or something like no man yeah a great point I'm telling you Buck don't buck wasn't thinking he was probably little delirious from his little walk room humanitarian of the year out here now trying to be too great be cool out yall just be cool you got be great goodness so Andy Staples tweets if Memphis isn't running on to service announcement for the people uh at 150 today you need to be watching the track and field the best rivalry in track and field in the Olympics is not no all versus Jamaicans it's not Shaker vers Shel Anne it is Jacob inab britson against Josh Kerr in the men's 1500 really this is the fourth fastest 1500 meter runner ever he has the European record at 326 s that's s off the world record of hicham el garou back in 1998 Jacob ringa briten and Josh Kerr hate each other do they they talk so much against each other why they running Kerr got him in the sometimes Kerr got him in the last World Championships Ina Brinson is looking for his get back and Ina Brinson is one of is literally the fourth best 1500 meter runner of all time Josh K is not far behind him uh he's 20th all time and the Americans have three guys in the men's 1500 final for the first time in 50 years that's big so how many TI they got going going around three and 3/4 1500 me and they finish in like three something yeah the world record is 326.00 inor Brits since run 32673 in Monaco earlier this summer how long have uh Ina dinga durgen and the other D really since the last Olympics Jake Whiteman uh has has gotten in there as well another guy but inab britson is the European champ this is a great Bri versus Norway in britson worldwide is other than Simone biles maybe the most famous olympion in the world outside of the like basketball tennis golf Sports okay so around the world inor britson and in Europe he is a superstar can we expect heavy elbows in this round well you get disqualified if you do but uh what's the name in the Ste in the Ste Chase R 5K women's 5K well that too now the elbow the dude and um yeah Canyon guy they let him in they they should they should they got do out of man can't do El that man oh the elbow itself you got hold your I threw a lot of elbows back in the day did you yeah you got to hold your that's why they called him will Bing yeah that's why they did uh when they cut in on you like you can kind of like Usher them away if someone takes your space like that's that's fair game wow like when they're coming around the curve I I just love to 5,000 with the women like watching them go at it and safan Hassan who is running the 10K 5K 1500 and the marathon all on the same Olympics that's tiring just to say she's got two for two on medals so far oh man slay is literally cing my representation back something wrong with him man like I'm telling y every time y let him off the chain he just go wild man he's a dog he's a dog dog but anyway there you go men's 1500 15in 150 that's all right US Women's Soccer is coming up in 10 minutes uh men's basketball later today as well slay when the Titans take the field on Saturday in 30 seconds give me your player other than trayon Burks you want to watch the most closely uh the entire right side of the line I want to see what they do and I want to see what um how I always say about to say his name Joseph day I want to see Sebastian Joseph yeah I want to see I want to see what he does cuz I I was talking about on our show yesterday when you see guys start to click up yeah they start to take on the mentality of each other too and you can always see big Jeff um of day Ardon key and tandre sweat all right there together joking and having a good time so start to pick up on that mentality so I'm going watch that I like it love it Ron slay 3 to6 3hl don't miss it do not miss no doubt coming up the buck Rising show is next tomorrow back at training camp live and in person from Ascension St Thomas Sports
