Marc White reacts to our 1-0 defeat to Torquay United

right it's finished uh one nil to toi here um this afternoon Mark how how we not got at least a point there today yeah I'm bit fed up at being The Unlucky ones really but listen first of all um credit to all the T fans that came out to make it um such a good uh atmosphere I think it's great for the league they've got such a big following and such an iconic Club um and I'm I just want to say I'm really delighted for them that they've got their Club back um after last season so uh congrats and they can have today um as a gift if you like but listen I think anyone that was here any honest football man um we were so dominant in the first half um on and off the ball I thought we dominated the majority of the game in terms of um things we have to do better obviously we had to test the goie more but but we were we had the ball in in the six yard box in the first half three four times and just trying to walk it in the net not getting shots off um but was so dominant we looked I've got to just call it as as a see I thought we looked fantastic I thought the boys look like a football side I thought they dominated the opposition heavily in that first half um and then you know q q the the typical ding wanders issues after Rutherford goes to warm up because we know moro's injured Alfie can then feel his hamstring which is what I told you in the pre-match so Alfie's basically no good so we couldn't bring Alon moros rolled his ankle big swollen so we had to take moreo off we've got no more Strikers so we thought we'd bring briggsy on um had to play him out of position at that time and with that little adjustment after the break yeah um we wasn't in the goalie or the back three The Way We Were first half and we just gave them a foothold to to then sort of play their long game um that they play put it in our half get up the field and they had a 10 12 minute spell where credit to them they won their jaws turned it over as we were trying to settle into the changes yeah um then obviously we made uh another change so we only had two subs that we could put on From the Bench we had two um we've only been doing this now two weeks M and we had two subs today that we could put on and to be honest that is hard like I rap myself all right our team obviously our fans coming down are tremendous but if you're if you've got two substitutes you can bring on a football field um when you allow five that is um that is not good yeah uh Brennan Camp fou a fitness test yesterday Dan Gallagher's not really ready to play he was only coming on with for desperation Stakes um raford hamstring no good um the picture for Mandy will not like look no better either I think uh we had a quick count up we've got 13 fit out of 22 two weeks in yes it is same old um and um yeah that's how it is but obviously we finished the game when we made the we made our subs yeah went to a bat four dominated the game and we should score in the last kick of the game with a clearcut Chance uh that fell to Bass we had good chances before that I think the credit to T key today really goes to how they defended their box yeah and that's not a negative that's you know that's what they're there to do and defending your box like they did gets your points I thought we defended our box pretty well and they scored their goal in the way that maybe we should have approached it more with you know getting a really brilliant shut off from outside the box so yeah bottom line is anyone that's here today any Fair football man will know that we've dominated most of that game um we are feeling a little bit um licking our wounds because of the two sub thing mhm um it dismantled us and obviously we've only got 48 hour turnaround yeah and we don't really have a lot of players so that's where we are is obviously creating a lot of chances but Chance conversion and goals concern at the moment I think so yeah I think so yeah I think so I said to the boys that 10 games in if you like you know given preseason yeah we should now be converting possession um into goals um that just comes from maybe better decision making you know boys taking shots um early acrosses just little micro decisions you can make but the bottom line is whoever wins the League this year they're going to have six seven losses in that column they'll have three four draws there's 40 Y games to go um I think with where we are we've obviously got a great Squad we've got a great following none of that none of that's going to change I think we're not going to look any further than Monday y big crowd at metab bank amazing following down here thank you very much to the 150 200 that came let's pack out metab Bank let's patch up the team we've got 13 fit players and we have to put three youngsters on there and um that's hard for me yeah I was going to ask about that is there going to be considerations of just bringing in some of the lads from the uh the B team and that and using the the squad to put players on the bench and perhaps give opportunities on Monday as well yeah that's all we can do um it's hard it's hard for the management we had it all last season um and uh it's frustrating wish had the answers um we've changed the physio set up round all of our little all of our little bits all the the contact injuries like moros today blah blah blah they they happen all of our little crap ones are coming off of our pitch again to be honest little strains Alfie stuff like that um but listen I'm moaning like an absolute drain well done talking um you know they got the three points and um we we have to go again on Monday and Patch ourselves up yeah so 3:00 Monday at meab bank bank holiday obviously and let's pack out meab Bank against eastborn be a good crowd hopefully 150 odd here today as well that's really good following is it it's a long way again so yeah just get people down to met bank on Monday yeah we're going to need the support we we you know the bottom line is we bought in a play we bought in a squad of with the help of our fan ownership group and all the supporters we've got a squad of 22 players and we've bought in across the the entire team top quality player for this level um and we need to get them on the pitch and we're going to have to be probably a little bit patient now with where we are with that um but yeah we just all about Monday really all about Monday the boys left it all out there today which is all they can do um and I thought we was apart from putting the ball in the net I thought for long periods we were absolutely formidable really for long periods but
