The Night Oasis Got 'BATTERED' By Gangsters & Teeth Pulled With Pliers

December 2nd 1992 Oasis are on a tour of Germany they're staying in a Swanky hotel in Munich when all hell breaks loose on a boozy session in the hotel B which turned into a brutal brawl an oasis minder is knocked unconscious by an Italian in a silk suit brandishing a knuckle duster a German chop is kung fu kicked by Liam Gallagher and as the fight spiraled from the bar to the lobby the Munich police rushed in to CAU them all off to the cells I'll read several reports of the fight and then give you Liam Galler's wild account of my thoughts on the bizarre Munich police reports and cover up that followed Oasis Wildman Liam Gallagher Kung Fu kicked a cop during the hotel brawl in which he lost his two thr teeth it was revealed yesterday the crazy star also wielded a metal astray like a club as he and members of the band's tour fought Wild West Style with a bunch of gangsters I know Asis mind was knocked out cold and drunk Liam 30 was smashed in the face with a heavy object but he was so out of control that he continued fighting with blood pouring from his mouth 20 cops stormed into Munich's plus visha Hof hotel as the battle Spilled Out from its nightclub into the reception area Liam was arrested after he kicked kicked an armed policeman in the ribs with full force he was handcuffed and bundled into a polican screaming and cursing he was charged with assault attacking an officer resisting arrest damaging property and trespass police sources in Munich so they could face a fine of up to 300,000 four other members of The Oasis party two backing musicians and two security men were also held the five were kept in custody at a police station near the hotel for 13 hours the fingerprints and photos were taken before they were freed on bail totaling 180,000 Liam spent most of yesterday in a dentist chair undergoing emergency work on his broken teeth Oasis canceled a gig in Munich after the fracus which erupted at 2: a.m. on Sunday last night's concert in Hamburg was also called off and doubt was thrown of a show schedule for later this week in D from Breman Oasis drum Alan white was there had a brain scan in hospital but he was not amongst those arrested one of the held musicians named as Philip Bon Smith also needed a brain scan and KO minder Robert Nash was still receiving treatment in hospital last night the oas's party started fighting among themselves as a Soul band played in the 900 night hotel's nightclub which shares an entrance of a restaurant called Trader vixs and all hell broke loose as one of the group was shoved into a table being used by five Italians thought to be gangsters involved in trafficking hookers from Eastern Europe glasses and chairs went flying as the two parties took each other on and a Soul band and clubs fled computer salesman Reinhard Müller 42 who was drinking with client said I heard a lot of English swear wordss then recognized Liam Gallagher among a group of young men who's been very obnoxious and SE to be pointing his finger at someone one of the group fell into the table next to them the place instantly went wild with tables chairs glasses and Furniture flying everywhere I ran for my life it was terrifying a 31y old witness named y said the acist group looked like drunken building side workers and behaved just like them chairs were flying everywhere and I saw Liam Gallagher with his two front teeth gone his face was broken Liam grabbed the ashy stand as the braw continued in the reception Lobby wealthy guests panicked and Scattered as the fighting threatened to smash glass panel jewelry cases police last night named the other arrested musician as Steven Allen spokesman Damen Kia said blood tests had shown the Oasis party were all extremely drunk he added Gallagher suffered serious injuries to his mouth would certainly have required extensive dental treatment all the Italians fled but we're trying to trace them it's not clear if any of of them were injured but the British people clearly came off worse okay so that was a news report from the Sun after this loads of reports started coming out where they were sort of mocking Oasis and um saying that it wasn't actually gangsters it was a state agents and a computer nerd and I think one of the headlines was computer geeks B um Oasis but what actually happened was there was sort of a police cover up the Munich police at that time were involved in a massive Scandal a white Scandal if you get me um where they were protecting certain gangsters and everything else now the Italians weren't arrested it was Oasis who were arrested now these Italians I've read some reports that they were wearing silk um shirts and trousers ET ET very expensively dressed one of them had a PA a pair of knuckle dusters on who knocked out the minder who was with Oasis and they were staying at the hotel also which is was a900 a night Hotel so what we talking 2002 so you're talking probably 1500 a night now somewhere like that maybe 2000 so this story the police put in they said they weren't um they weren't gangsters or anything they were just estate agents and no charges were brought to them and they were sort of let go and there was no issue um it looks like what I'm told is that they were definitely I don't know if they were Mafia but they were an organized crime or they were they weren't just straight goers estate agents it was a pretty wild fight um Liam Gallagher it was definitely rac's fault they were flicking peanuts apparently acting the fool push one of them fell into the um table one was chatting one of their girls up or something it's all kicked off and Liams got batted first he comes out of that area of the the ball area his mind the guy has gone rushing in he's throwing things out and glassy ashtrays he gets spoted out with a guy by a duster um and it all kicks off and it all goes in to the foyer area as well but at the time those of you um people who were were older at the time will remember it was all over the papers and everything but Liam was always getting into scraps and afraid of having a a chair up as all young men not all young men but a lot of young men um boozed up with all millionaires you know and musicians you it's musicians famous for getting into mischief and scraps and all that kind of thing but this time they picked on the wrong the wrong people so I thought that was quite interesting and then Liam Gallagher's come out with a bizarre theory that his teeth got damaged or knocked out dependent on the report you want to believe that the police were the ones who when they took him in the van had knocked him out unconscious in the van and had extracted his teeth had knocked his teeth out or extracted them with players in the van and he'd woken up right his teeth and he's blamed it on the German police not being hit in the fight so I've seen pictures of them after and they don't look that bad to be honest um I don't see that they would completely bashed up with all teeth knocked out and stuff unless the dentist done a real good job so I don't know if it was a sword for the press and stuff it definitely did kick off and it was a wild brawl that went on I don't think at all that the police had ripped his tone but I guess you never know but um I just thought we'd have a little walk down memory lane seeing as Oasis or booked to reunite and play again
