forgive me if I'm not internet Sav enough to know this but did the bow bow bow stuff come from something did you come up with this what started this for you bow bow bow is just the energy okay that's just the energy and you bow bow bow and I really just run with it is the shoulder pop a required part of it no that's I Bean it is now I've added it absolutely have you felt like it's helped you with energy you've doing it a couple times every game now is yeah I think it's just like it's just Good Vibes I mean when people hear it they like smile and then they try to get a little shoulder action into so it's it's pretty nice you're playmaking the last game and really the last couple has looked a little more improved what have you kind of attributed that to um I think just continue to make the right reads out of the short role and um honestly you can't really get those assists without your teammates making shots so I think they're doing a great job just getting their outside shots and making teams um have to play them a lot more how have you seen The Vibes of the team change through the yeah I think we've just grown a lot and I think that just like winning makes everything better um I think just being able to continue to build that chemistry up um we've won some really big games we're in a good spot right now during our season so I think we're just to get on the board and play again all that you were with Dawn earlier in the week we just wondering the story behind that is it and how that went yeah um I went to South Carolina had to do some stuff and so I made a little pit stop for I surprised gu entire staff and some of the girls and so it's really nice South Carina is always home what stands out to about what Minnesota's been doing recently and the challenges you'll have tomorrow yeah I mean they shot the heck out of the ball the other night against Vegas umon Williams had an excellent game you know we didn't have car they didn't have car when we played them the last time so that changes you know some some of the things they did against us last time we just have to be ready for it but you know she's going she's a great player she's going to you know get hers we just have to make sure someone else is that you know Courtney William also we got to make S keep ears what's it like mentally to have a long break then play two quick games and have to sit again for a week and yeah it's challenging I wish we would have play you know already um but that's okay cuz we were able to get some good practice in from a really good Minnesota team um just want to keep that momentum that's all I keep talking about this whole this whole week is just use that as momentum um knowing that we still have a lot of work to do has aiyah been able to get you to do this shoulder pop thing that she keeps doing I thought I was on one of the First videos I kind of hit it early I mean I'm not trying to be in the in the in the Dan of videos with fway what does that take from a defensive perspective you anticipate putting two on her a lot how do you think that'll change what you're able to do yeah I think it's going to be some different matchups some different people taking an opportunity guard um changing up our schemes on her um just just trying to make it really difficult when she when she catches the ball is very dangerous when she catches in that out post area mid post area she has that little Fade to the middle and she gets to the middle and Fades on you really tough so just trying to change it up for make her catch it when she's not as com Aaliyah's passing and playmaking she just talked about some of her short R improvements how have you seen that improve for her and what kind of was a catalyst in changing how she approaches that part of her game yeah you know last year when she got here I was really you know I think we were all really impressed with the her ability to pass basketball um it's just gotten better now you know Caitlin handling and them two and picking roles um with the amount of you know attention that those guys um take on from everybody else A's done a great job of seeing the open we also do a great job of like showing these guys like how teams are going to play them where those opportunities are going to be and where they alah always seems to be like you know a positive person how does her positivity personality just affect the team oh gosh I mean you know from the time she's she stepped fo here with us I mean she's just a a solid president a great leader um always positive most win or than p i mean those are the kind of players that we want here across the field there's been lots of talks the cesion of the team in these last two games how do you think that you've grown as a head coach um for the beginning of the season to now especially because you and your staff at time over the break you know come together on stuff like that yeah I think for myself um it was more about the that first part of the Season where we took so many um so many hits early and you just had to really figure out like who I was as as a coach how I was going it was all about trying to get these guys to show back up and keep the same positive effort and energy every day and um that was my focus I have a great group of Staff um that was doing the same thing they do they're great at what their their specialty is so they're able to focus on that um but yeah also been able to spend time with my staff not in a gym um off the court outside in the office um it's just good for for just team just the chemistry of everybody what uh percentage of your Tik Tok knowledge comes from Aaliyah would you say I have zero Tik Tok knowledge I don't even have a Tik Tok I don't have a Facebook I don't have I don't have she involves you in so much stuff I you know what that's and I love her for that I love her for that I hope people get a good kick out of it
