NYPD Comissioner Edward Caban Steps Down

New York we're expecting to hear from mayor Eric Adams soon about the resignation of commissioner caban this comes after raids this week at his home and at least three other top officials in the Adams Administration political reporter Marsha Kramer has been covering this story all week she is live at City Hall with the latest Mara well Cindy I have several sources that tell me that the police commissioner has decided to step down because he doesn't want to be a distraction as the police department has to deal with a lot of important issues this is not an admission of guilt or that he's done anything wrong in fact sources just tell me he insists that he believes he has done nothing wrong but this comes also after there's been days of discussion with the Adams Administration and there was also a decision that wanted to that they wanted to wait until after 911 so that wouldn't be a distraction for what was going on on 9/11 and as you said it comes as Top members of the administration have been the target of of federal probes and but I want to tell you that earlier the governor said that she had no problems working with the Adams Administration and said it's only an investigation at this point this is what she had to say when there is evidence of wrongdoing when there's evidence of a crime um we take steps necessary to remove them from those positions when that individual is found involved in committing a crime themselves uh Gathering intelligence by law enforcement is a different stage of the process now again to report police commissioner Edward kaban has decided to step aside after days of discussion with the Adams Administration now the next question you want to know is who's going to replace him and we're hearing a number of reports but I'm also being told that the federal officials involved in this investigation are insisting it be somebody from outside the department so that there's no appearance of impropriety a number of names have been floated they've talked about former sanitation commissioner Jessica Tish they've also talked about getting somebody from either the US attorney's office or the FBI somebody who's been a former Federal prosecutor it looks like this is an attempt to make sure that whatever investigation goes on that that investigation is not tainted by anything that that could happen in the department again it also involves raids that were conducted on four members four Top members of the mayor's Inner Circle including the schools commissioner his first Deputy Mayor and the deputy mayor for Public Safety M uh commissioner kaban through the course of the week when I had asked him if he decided he was going to resign he kept saying those rumors were false but apparently he es caved to pressure from a lot of people that it would be better for the department and no distraction if the if he were to step aside as you know the mayor famously says no distractions focus and grind so this is going along with that now the mayor has covid so he's expected to make this announcement momentarily from City Hall where he is still in quarantine Cy back to you all right mayor with all this swirling around the mayor what has his response been to to these raids and the investigation well I think that the the nobody knows exactly what's going on and it looks like there's actually three investigations going on one which is unrelated has to do with um whether there was any Turkish involvement in making campaign donations to the mayor's 2021 campaign that's aside and aart the raids that happened on all of the mayor um Inner Circle appear to have two separate parts of the probe one apparently is focusing on the police department where um there are allegations that they're looking at the police commissioner's twin brother James and the possibility that he had some role in dealing with payments from the um from the uh nightclub various nightclubs in the city the other investigation appears to be focusing on cons conts that may have been given to various officials um in the um as part of the Adams Administration again there is no indication that anybody right now is a target of investigation and that there's been any wrongdoing what they're looking for it seems is sort of information they want to see what's on people's phones if there's anything incriminating on people's reports New York Police Commissioner Edward kaban stepped down one week after the FBI raided the home of the police commissioner and his twin brother James and several officials inside of the Adams Administration in connection with a investigation by the FBI and the US attorney's office into alleged influence pedaling and according to those reports the FBI decided to raid the home of New York Police Commissioner Edward kaban and confiscate his electronic devices in connection with alleged influen pedaling by him by his brother as related to nightclubs and bars in New York City now this resignation by Edward kabon is the second police commissioner to step down from office in less than two years the first police commissioner the first black female police commissioner keychan wound up resigning her position back in 23 after allegations of Eric Adams looking to undermine her Authority as police commissioner and after key chant Su wound up stepping down from her position as police commissioner of the NYPD Eric Adams appointed Edward kaban the first Hispanic Police Commissioner as his interim Police Commissioner and then appointed him to be the full commissioner later on in July of 2023 and he was the police commissioner until the FBI wound up raiding his home a week ago and wound up stepping down only due to heavy pressure from New York City Council Members and the New York Post editorial board which demanded that Edward Kabam wind up stepping down from his position as police commissioner now Edward caban possibly also was persuaded to step down as police commissioner by New York mayor Eric Adams who basically has been under siege from multiple Federal investigations and also is dealing with a extremely low approval rating after his mishandling of the migrant crisis here in New York City and the fact that the city's whole fiscal situation is not really in good shape overall now all of these different investigations optically look bad for New York York mayor Eric Adams and basically with this whole situation with the police commissioner I guess he basically wanted to find a way to keep this whole scandal from undermining him because he basically ran on being a police former police officer and as he ran on being a former police officer he ran on looking to clean up the crime in New York City unfortunately with this whole case as related to Edward kaban this basically is a black eye on Eric Adams because it basically shows how while he was a former police officer looking to fight crime in New York City his officials basically have dirty allegedly dirty hands and that optically looks bad for a mayor who already has one of the lowest approval ratings for a mayor in the last 25 years and is possibly up for reelection next year and is facing stiff competition stiff competition from people like Brad Landers who wants to look to hope to primary New York mayor Eric Adams and get him out of his position as mayor in a primary before a general election where he would basically again not even be on the ticket so with all of these mounting pressures on the mayor he basically is what he's looking to do is possibly hoping to try to get out from under this whole situation as related to this investigation into his police commissioner by persuading him to resign now Edward caban has not been indicted or charged with anything as related to alleged wrongdoing but has decided to possibly step down because again this optically looks bad for the mayor for his police commissioner to be in the middle of an investigation as related to his prospects for the 2025 election and and also the blue party's prospects for the 2024 election because for a a mayor to have a police commissioner involved in investigation into influence peddling optically looks bad overall for the party and the party basically possibly look to persuade him to step down and step down because they wanted to again get this guy off the board in this game of political chess now this whole game of political chess is what Eric Adams I believe is trying to play as related to this whole situation regarding these multiple investigations that are going on with the federal government and it looks like to me that Eric Adams is looking to try to play a political game of chess and not understanding the subtle politics transpiring around him now Eric Adams when he got elected in 2021 was the city's second black mayor behind David dkin and this second black mayor behind David dkin ran again on a campaign of being a former police officer who was going to clean up New York City but optically what's happened here is he wound up appearing to be optically dirty as a guy who basically has in used influence to again make deals behind closed doors deals behind closed doors that basically what's happening is white supremacy is looking to use those deals basically to turn against Eric Adams and use those deals against him basically to show that he is not a viable candidate for the office of Mayor now what's happening to Eric Adams is sadly he's reaping what he sold greater than what he sold later than what he sold for being a black bootlick and sadly what's happening here is what Professor black truth has stated in many of his videos when it comes to Black bootlicks bootlick is a job without a reti plan and usually once white supremacy is finished using a tool what they look to do is break a tool and that's basically what's happening sadly here to Edward kaban Edward kaban basically is a Hispanic tool that was on the side of Eric Adams chessboard and as a Pawn on the chessboard he's looking to sacrifice that player in order to try to stay on the board himself that's what Eric Adams I believe and his people he has work he's working with in his administration they're looking he's looking to sacrifice people off the board and it wouldn't surprise me if these other people who were raid such as the school's chancellor and the deputy mayor would be the next players to be sacrificed off the board because when it comes to many of these black bootlicks a lot of them think that they can play this game of political chess with white supremacy unfortunately what they don't understand is that the game that they're playing is a rigged game and with it being a rigged game they will never win and they will never win because again when it comes to the system of white supremacy they not only invented the rules for the game of chess they invented the game to begin with so they know how everything moves on the board and even if you follow the rules they will basically change the rules because they are the institution of white supremacy so it doesn't matter how Eric Adams moves he is not going to win this game and he's not going to win this game by sacrificing people because it doesn't matter to the white supremacist no their ultimate goal is to make sure that a message is sent with his ignominious end and they had that plan from minute one because again white supremacy only chooses black boot licks they can get in front of the ultimate goal of their message is to send a message that a black person who is given political power is not competent and basically they set that individual up to fail from minute one and sadly Eric Adams couldn't see that as he was looking to run for office as he was looking to run for office he couldn't see the big picture regarding the system of white supremacy and black politic politicians what they look to do is set the black politician up for failure and as the black politician is caught up in their emotions about the attention they're receiving they can't see the subtle politics transpiring around them and since they can't see the subtle politics transpiring around them in this political chess game they think that they're a going to be on the road to becoming a bigger player however what they don't see is they've always been a Pawn on the board as related to the system of white supremacy and its anti-black agenda as related to its anti-black agenda they basically again get in front of players they can get in front of and they find players they can get in front of and again establish them on the board and as they established them on the board they basically again set those players up for failure set them up for failure so that they can basically prove their point a point they made in the movie Birth of a Nation back in the 1920s I believe a point where they said if a black person gets political power or economic power they wouldn't be able to handle it and sadly Eric Adams basically proved these racist point from minute one the minute he decided to side with Bill deasio Andrew Pomo and Cathy hok by extending the vaccine mandate extending a vaccine mandate for almost a year after the entire world wound up walking away from that vaccine mandate all in his effort to clout Chase and in his efforts to clout Chase he didn't understand that the people he was Chase who was looking to chase clout with were basically working against him and again couldn't see the subtle politics transpiring around him because he was caught up in the attention he was receiving and thought he was going to go out here and have the same power and influence that many of these white folks have thought he would have that power and influence and thought he could be able to create this whole diverse Administration and thought he could have this diverse Administration that would be working for him but when it comes to the system of white supremacy nobody is working for a black man no nobody's working for a black man and basically what they want to do is again again have him again sacrificing people off his board but the ultimate goal is to make sure that the message that white supremacy wants made out here regarding black politicians is m is sent and what they want to do again is send a message that Eric Adams is not a competent politician he is not somebody anyone can trust and basically what white supremacy wants to do is get Eric Adams Administration tarnished as related to its image similar to what happened with New York mayor David denkin who thought he could run the city but he basically was used as a political Pawn by white supremacy to say hey we gave this black man a job as mayor but the crime is through the roof due to the crack epidemic and due to David dinkin indifference he couldn't see the game that was being played as related to tarnishing his name and sadly Eric Adams basically followed in the same footsteps of this political game followed in the same footsteps of this political game and thought again he could go out here and be this mayor and again this is why they they basically came after his police commissioner and again as he wound up getting caught up in these whole investigations they made the they gave him the advice to find somebody outside and they got a white man Tom donlin to become the interim Police Commissioner and I believe he will eventually become the full Police Commissioner and again this is him not seeing the chess moves being done by again the system of white supremacy again what they want to do is make a statement that when you give black and non-black people these kind of positions they can't handle the power and this is why you need white people to be in these positions of power but Eric Adams basically was a useful idiot he basically played into the hands because as a black boot lick he thought he could go out here and be able to aspired for higher political office this is how delusional he was cuz he thought he could aspire to be a black president he thought he could be the Biden of Brooklyn but like Biden he basically is leaving office in an his police commissioner is leaving office in an ignominious fashion and what they want to do is make sure that Eric Adams also leaves in an IGN no manous fashion they basically want to again put the pressure on to get Eric Adams out of office and Destroy his office and part of that is having his police commissioner leave in this fashion where he res resigns from office again this is the second police commissioner to wind up leaving and the second minority Police Commissioner to wind up leaving and again the message that white supremacy wants to send is that minorities can't do these jobs because they just are corrupt again this is the same message that they had in the movie Birth of a Nation but sadly Eric Adams again can't see the subtle politics transpiring around him he can't see the big picture as related to things he still thinks he's got a shot but no he doesn't have a shot he never had a shot from minute one because again when it comes to white supremacy and black bootlicks or minority bootlicks the ultimate goal is bootlick is a job without a retirement plan and they don't want you to retire because ultimately once they finish with their tools they wind up breaking their tools because they don't need their tools any to become weap weapons that can be used against them and basically What's Happening Here is we're seeing one of the pawns on the chessboard basically being broken and basically being tossed off the board tossed off the board like he chantu was tossed off for board by Eric Adams in a rigged chess game a Rigg chess game he will not win a Rigg chess game that he cannot win at all and he's basically thinking that he can fight for his life on a rigged chess board where white supremacy has made all the rules white supremacy basically has made all the rules regarding this chess game and sadly Eric Adams can't see the big picture regarding What's Happening Here Again what they do white supremacy will do is again go after the smaller players on the board to get to the big player on the board and again the ultimate goal is to prove how incompetent he is and sadly Eric Adams again doesn't see the big picture because the Crea wheat man can't see
