hey there folks Adam here going live uh torado warning in place so we are going live to track this I'm still getting everything ready here cuz we weren't expecting to go live this early uh but now we are so just go in live quickly I'm going to bring up radar uh give me just a moment to get instant Weather Pro loaded and I will go uh dive deeper into these storms um we've got another tornado warning now for areas to the north of the original tornado warning so things are getting interesting today hopefully everybody's staying safe and uh yeah we mentioned uh the tornado risk um of course earlier and then uh yeah things are kicking it up a notch here so let's jump into instant WEA Pro let's see if it loads up come on there we go perfect all right let me just make sure it is um let's see if I can make it bigger there we go perfect okay so uh new tornado warning on this cell here um the Handover one uh we are in Split mode so I can swipe back and forth so tornado warning on that cell we have a tornado warning on this cell H that's going through Cambridge at the moment um there's a new isolated cell down here near Tavistock as well too there's a new isolated cell down here as well so we've got a bunch of isolated uh super cells that we are concerned with of course and uh we are tracking them accordingly right now it looks like the severe thunderstorm watch has been extended to a pretty large region um looks like there was a uh Squall watch on water the only reason we would me we would uh share that is if it had a tornado risk in it so I'm sure they mention water spouts or tornado risk on that one and yeah so we've got multiple tornado warnings right now and um we again I hope everybody's staying safe this morning I was just lying in bed on my phone posting about all this stuff and I'm and I was like I think I better go live quickly so uh I ran quickly to get everything launched to go live so hopefully everybody's doing well happy Saturday uh 3% tornado risk still on this Cambridge cell we did have a as you can see here a tornado reported there was I believe Mark Robinson uh reported the tornado and we had a few other reports as well saying that it was confirmed um so that's not great and uh yeah there's that um I'm just going to ask Brennon here give me a second in the background ask Brenan to uh notify the live stream I'm not sure if he has yet or not but I'm just going to ask him here in the background give me a second here um oh I see a new report from Atlanta here give me one second um hold on let me just ask Brennan to notify this one okay so multiple tornado warnings at the moment uh Brennan did mention tornado risk in his uh forecast uh with his forecast map showing um isolated tornadoes are possible we did I did post a radar update this morning and said that isolated tornadoes cannot be ruled out um Environment Canada then um posted their forecast which said tornadoes were possible and then they issued severe thunderstorm warning that said um tornado risk and then I was posting minor rotation on it when they issued the tornado warning so uh perfect thank you Brandon appreciate it so yeah so that's all happening at the moment um it's been a busy morning so far hopefully everybody again is staying safe wanted to go live as quickly as we possibly could to answer your questions and try to provide some context with what's happening here so um the the cell that had the reported tornado on it was this cell near Cambridge that's tracking to the uh Northeast at the moment and uh there is again this little isolated cell down here we're taking a Peak at um there is a tornado warning on this cell up here although that is pretty interesting here thank you so much for the Super Chat Mike Mike says his guf at risk um gu on the north end of that storm I'm not seeing any really strong rotation at this point in time I'll show you what we saw earlier which is why I posted minor rotation um and then again the tornado warning followed uh I think the torado warning actually beat me to even saying that um let me jump to King City cuz it was on King City we could really see it let me see here if I jump back here a few frames it was this right here you could really see um start to get more interesting started to see some rotation there started to really see it here and um and so that's I think when it was reported so we definitely had the rotation there um that's when the tornado warning came out and that's that same cell that's tracking to the Northeast going into uh the Cambridge areas at the moment um still a dangerous storm I would still be taking shelter in its path uh but we're starting to see some of the rotation weakening here thank you so much for the Super Chat Courtney appreciate that it's very kind of you um and yeah so and then there's this cell up here which is interesting that that went under tornado warning looks like the tornado warning has been dropped on this one so that's good news for those uh who are in the path of that storm near Durham and Glenn uh southeast of Hanover looks like that was issued a tornado War morning I'm trying to look at the radar for that I don't know if there's a report on that storm or what but I didn't see much rotation on that cell but yeah um Environment Canada being super proactive today and being quick too to end that tornado warning because there was really no rotation on it um from what I could tell and they quickly ended that tornado warning so I don't know if they saw something on exitor maybe just the the fact that okay maybe there's a little bit going on there there a little bit yeah there's a little bit of a little bit of a notch here and then it kind of fizzled yeah it fizzled and they dropped the tornado warning here so that tornado War has been dropped but has been replaced with severe thunderstorm warning um tornado warning still continues on this excuse me on the cell uh from Cambridge there's no rotation at the moment though so I think I'm going to drop this um tornado reported polygon because it was reported earlier that's obviously why we sent it out we heard that Mark Robinson um saw tornado on it and and then we had a few different reports of folks uh mentioning big lowering lots of rotation likely tornado can you tell I just woke not just woke up you can tell I just started talking I've literally been sitting in my bed since about 7: a.m. lying in my bed at 7: a.m. my phone just doing as much posting and communication as I possibly could and then I'm like let's go live and I realized that my voice is going to be an octave deeper when I first wake up so I'm going to sound like this ladies and gentlemen it's low but anyways um also it didn't help that I did a lot of singing last night so I was at a bonfire and and I was singing my face off all last night so that probably that probably did that did that to my voice I'm actually supposed to play a song at a wedding today but uh for a friend's wedding um but I think I might be a bit busy maybe I'll go super late like after the storms die down and go play I just supposed to play uh I have to go there and play like one song um interesting okay so that tornado warning continues and um yeah I want to get rid of that tornado reported polygon now though just because it looks like uh it looks like the rotation is weakening at least at this point um still looks relatively decent on um US radar it's still pretty grumpy looking cell um but it looks like the rotation has weakened at this point from what I can tell although there is still interesting CC draw there but I'm not sure if that's associated with it but but yeah it's very possible this touchdown looks like Mark knows his stuff and um oh wow um sadella sadella hopefully I pronounce that right says definitely tornado hit Ayr area a bunch of videos of it in various groups yeah it looks like it was uh uh very very uh possible there um it looks like they've dropped the tornado warning it's been uh downgraded to a severe thunderstorm warning here but this part of the Toro warning continues interesting so they Contin they left the tro warning continuing to the West maybe for these cells um and maybe for this but they it looks like maybe they've dropped that tornado warning Brandon can you confirm that I saw something on my watch that said replaced um oh sorry it's pronounced air I always yeah I'm literally just spelling it out if I forget how to pronounce it but uh um hler tornado warning drop now thank you very much um pronounced air okay thank you very much appreciate it yeah so this is um uh Brook says allora still has an act of warning are you checking on our app because our app is the place to check for sure um looks like uh allora has been downgraded to a severe thunderstorm warning yeah as of 11:22 a.m. so yeah and I know there's a Riverfest we're actually covering Riverfest today we're covering the weather there um we work with that team each and every year to make sure that uh we can give them as much detail as possible for their weather um and uh yeah still 5% tornado risk on this cell though uh as far as the IW storm risk is concerned using machine learning and AI I guess we've all heard the germ AI at this point a million times but yeah it's uh using AI to BAS basically um take historical data and compare it to the storm that we're looking at right now to try to give an idea of the overall uh risk now and uh stretching out to about 30 minutes so it's kind of a Now cast um which is like a really really short range forecast basically but yeah still seen if actually that just increased to 5% tornado risk on that cell so still watching that closely um I am going to get rid of the tornado reported polygon oh wow yeah there was definitely I'm starting to see some of those reports now I I wasn't able to watch them all by the way I'm using an I'm also using another Pro radar app right now and they still have all of the tornado warnings like they none of them have dropped anyways and it looks like you can see on instant Weather Pro every torado Waring has dropped now so instant Weather Pro if you want to actually uh have uh the most recent data right away and not like eventually then uh you might want to you might want to uh subscribe to instant we Pro um you can do that at Instant weatherpro decom by the way thank you to all those who have subscribed if you do use in some other Pro check uh sorry let us know in the comments how you feel about it we've been doing some incredible improvements to it actually there's one update for my developer I want to show you a screenshot of right now when you click on anything you just see like severe thunderstorm watch and that's it but now you're going to see every type of alert and there's going to be a drop down you can click it and then you can scroll all the details so that is already done um just needs to refine it slightly and then push it and we're good to go um let's see here Craig says how do we get that radar you use I was trying to read the storm in the absence of your Live cast and it's difficult even with the upgraded radar so the the upgraded radar on our on our free app instant weather um is different from instant Weather Pro however instant Weather Pro is going to be coming into the instant weather app um that is all done and tested we just have to finalize the um login subscription stuff so that's all done as well um but if you head over to instant weatherpro decom you can subscribe to it so it's 99 bucks for the year it's like 825 a month um but it's I think I'm a little biased here but I think it's the best Canadian radar prr program that exists and it's um it's a website so it works on your computer it works on your iPad it works on your phone it's great um and you can check that out at instant weatherpro do.com anyways so looks like all the uh torado warnings have been dropped um that polygon has been dropped here I think let me make sure I'm going to go in the background here and just uh make sure I get rid of the tornado reported polygon and uh what a busy morning tornado reported polygon and uh kudas 2 Environment Canada by the way with a quick tornado warning that was like super fast that was great I have a feeling Brad's on the desk but it might not be Brad but if it is Brad Brad's uh Brad's awesome so let's see here I'm going to get rid of the train reported polygon I'm going to maybe I'm leave the minor rot no I think I'm going to scrap it although that 5% maybe I'll just leave that for a couple of frames I'm going to lead that minor rotation detected just for just for a couple frames you never know so I'm just going to leave that for a bit but yeah there's a lot more storm development expected if uh if you've taken a look at our future radar on the instant weather app you know this isn't it it's there's more that's going to pop up we have storms going throughout the afternoon it looks like based on that photo I'm looking at right here with the giant cone funnel um hold on a second here I bet you it's not going to be long until Brennan puts up all the stuff and all the reports and once you see this cone funnel that if if you're not on onara storm reports by the way on Facebook uh if you're not on Facebook you might want to get a Facebook just for ontera storm reports it's such a profound reporting group it is unbelievable um yeah there's 329,000 community members now on Ontario storm reports so it's a Facebook group which means anybody can post to it and it's just a great way to uh yeah it's just a great way to um share your reports and see reports from the community but the photo I'm looking at that U Megan uh s h w KO Wy posted um of a large cone funnel very picturesque cone funnel looks like it's stretching I can't see the surface but it looks like it's stretching right down the ground I hope everybody stayed safe from that cuz that looks like it it most likely touched down again we had reports of it being on the ground so um or yeah if you're reporting a tornado you're saying it's on the ground that's different from a funel cloud the storm's kind of sitting in the same spot here we go brenan's got all the stuff up on the screen thank you very much um photo of tornado taken what was that again oh is it going to move the report um that looked like somebody driving but maybe that was from the passenger side photo of tornado taken by a friend but rest of photo from my husband in uh air yeah you can see that bottom picture so Bren if you click on that bottom right picture there you can see very clear cone tornado is that damage yeah that is that I'm guessing this is damage it's hard to tell for sure but it looks like there's damage there yeah like the Home Hardware and air got hit oh no oh goodness you know what's interesting is the rotation couplet was actually Northwest of air but I just just like I looked at the map and I'm like what's the closest location I can see and I'm like it looks like air so I just typed air I said a minor rotation in air and then eventually we said tornado reported near air um and it looks like it did touch down in air so hopefully everybody in the air area is okay um brenon can you click on that that photo at the bottom right of that Leanne Bradbury report uh that's on the screen right now if you if you get a chance I know you're busy doing a bunch of stuff but can you yeah if you can click on that and zoom in yeah so there's the tornado uh right there so big cone tornado very clear uh sto pipe kind of cone is Tornado by the way again I'm using another Pro radar app I hate to complain non-stop but it still has all of the tornado warnings on it I like to compare between our Pro radar app and and some of the other ones just to see what's going on with them but uh they are are slow they load Canadian radar data slow and they they update alerts like molasses anyways um but thankfully oh my goodness is this actually happening right now do do this not a hook Echo right here I mean the it's going to be 01 I knew for sure because it was gray um IW storm risk but that's wrapping up into quite the little supercell right there I mean you have to remember to the storm risk is usually one radar frame behind sometimes it's about half it's like 3 minutes behind one to 3 minutes behind um but it can update pretty quick it updates I think every two minutes but um so let's say it's 2 minutes behind so we can actually see in advance of the machine learning calculating the tornado risk we can actually look at this and say okay we've got ourselves a big hook Echo here developing supercell uh Northwest of palson right now tornado watch has been issued tornado watch coming out oh boy um US radar is not happy with that cell that is uh southeast of gal near Abra foil it's starting to rotate again tornado watch has now been issued um for a lot of different regions uh we can actually back up and take a Peak at this um but whoa see this percentage has gone higher now 7% turn T risk on the cell now the cell's kind of um hanging it's sitting still right now but US radar is a little more excited about it so let's click on Buffalo and see by the way I love how fast our US radar loads now there's a little something going on here with this cell now mhm I think we're going to go I'm glad I left remember I left that minor rotation polygon on yeah I think that's a good idea because it's starting to rotate again um yeah oh boy um you can see the tornado watch underneath here let me get rid of the warnings yeah you can see how it turned into tornado watch now see the dark red so now we have that tornado watch expanding all the way south of Barry all the way over here got to keep an eye on that Palmerston storm as well I don't like that hook on it we should be getting a new radar update in a couple minutes but you can see uh storm risk is very excited 7% tornado risk now on the cell that already produced a tornado from what we can tell oh boy getting into it now folks let's see here so already uh what we believe is a confirmed tornado in air because of uh damage reported and a giant uh a giant funnel cloud that looked like it was touching the ground so therefore for a tornado um but I don't like the look of this storm I think it still has potential here and I think IW storm risk is freaking out about it here 7% it seems to be increasing I'm going to go rotation on this cell right now give me just one second here I'll do this in the background um how's everybody doing by the way let us know in the comments you doing okay you all right everybody in air is okay if you're in air let me know if you're okay please because uh looks like there was a tornado the touchdown in the air area we hope everybody's okay with that one oh boy remember folks please don't take photos while you're driving pull over safely if you have to take a photo if you really want to take a photo or a video pull over safely put on your fourways then do it because there's a lot there was a lot of reports this morning of people sending us the tornado while they're driving we don't we don't want that um I'm going to do a rotation polygon on this Cambridge cell cuz it's still rocking pretty hard and it's moving slowly but surely to the Northeast I'm going rotation on this one right here um let me just do that oh you can't see sorry this cell the one you can see on the screen I'm going to go orange I'm going to say rotation detected um and I'm going to modify the the details here so we've detected rotation on the Storm uh near Cambridge that is uh slowly tracking to the Northeast and um it has a history of producing a tornado in the air area and is starting to ramp up again nice technical terms ramp up again and the timing here is 11:36 no it's going to be 11:37 a.m. uh Saturday August 17th May 24 okay and looks good to me I'm going to send it out right now to 5200 folks that are in the path of that polygon sending it now okay so I've sent that notification out let me know if you get that notification um if confirmed tornado that touched down and caused damage in air so I'm going to go ahead and say I'm going to disagree with you well let's agree to disagree that this is a little more than a nothing Burger cuz we've already had a confirmed Tornado by the way I'm using my standing desk right now and I'm standing I like to start standing because once I sit down I never go back up um I love the standing this though it's great let's start standing that's the best way I just leave the desk up at night so when I come back to it I just force myself to stand while I'm doing things um okay so I sent out that notification Emily says yeah not nothing I'm going to have to agree with Emily on that one considering we have had a confirmed tornado um Carol says what is that weather app so if you polygon on cuz now we have this little storm it's only 1% tornado risk on it uh Northwest of air um there's not really any rotation there yet but it looks like it's starting to kick it up a notch I did want to go take a look at this storm which now I mean I think I'm going to go minor rotation on that Mento storm because it still has that very classic looking kind of hook going on here let's go to King and see yeah I mean look at this storm this this uh the direction arrows aren't perfect perfect as you can see the storm is moving to the North and the direction arrow is like I think it's going right um but usually when you get a super like this it'll start to turn right so maybe it's kind of giving us an estimation of which way it thinks it's going to go um I'm going to go minor rotation on this just CU it's turning into a big hooking uh cell the rotation is quite minor but I think I'm going to go minor on this one cuz it's um I just don't like the look of it I don't like the look of it and in this environment I'm going to say yeah these storms are moving kind of do North Northeast that's not a great Direction that's not a great Direction um okay I'm going to go minor on that one uh oh you know what I got to do first is I got to get my macros ready that's right we need macros Folks by macros I mean I type one button and it posts the whole date for me so I Type I Type date one and it goes p.m Dash Saturday August 17th 2024 colon and then I type uh dat n and then it says does the hashtags like hashtag onorm and hash WX so I do those little things to speed up my process um but uh I have to set them up first which I didn't this time tisk tisk all right date one are we into the afternoon yet n we're still in the still in the morning okay so PM let's go Saturday August 17th there we go okay and so that one's done and do I have a date two where's my date two I use date two for the am and date one for the BM and sometimes I forget which one's which okay um okay okay so back to my admin panel in the background that you can't see oh let me adjust my radar before Brandon gets mad at me um let me jump to the map and take a peek at that storm Northwest of palson it's kind of moving to the north let's animate it here so we can see um I think it's moving is it moving due north ah see the storm track started to go to the Northeast ha storm track updates every two minutes so if it's not right the first time it usually gets better um let me just go clickity click and do something like this I'm going to do this and I'm going to say minor rotation okay you can't see what I'm doing but it's happening in the backgr minor ration detected on the Storm uh near MTO Northwest of Palmerston tracking to the north Northeast and the timing here is 11:43 date two l in all right there we go okay cool looks good to me and I'm going to send that out now perfect so if you did not receive that again you probably don't have our free app if you're like in Mount Forest right now and you didn't just receive a push not ification um from us regarding that storm then you probably don't have our free app so I would recommend going and downloading it let's see here Colleen says uh the WPS post on Twitter storm update there are reports of a tornado touching down in air damages to the roof of the Home Hardware the business has been evacuated no physical injuries reported thank goodness North uh dumre fire is attending due to smell of natural gas at this location uh oh road closure uh Green Field Drive between Trussler and uh Northumberland is closed due to trees and hydro poles down so it looks like we did have some significant damage from uh the tornado that touch down in air and uh we're not even in the afternoon yet I we weren't thinking oh Barry's got a tornado watch now they've extended the tornado watch into Barry and I'm sure surrounding areas as well um oh boy oh boy so we're not even in the afternoon yet we've already got tornado watches and we've had a confirmed tornado so good morning everyone how are we all doing hopefully everybody stayed safe with that uh tornado the touchdown earlier I sincerely hope so um yeah so there's that yeah so I went minor rotation on this mental storm and haha just as I post it I'm actually seeing more minor rotation right down here near the hook so I don't like the look of that one I still don't like the storm down uh that was Northeast of Cambridge we're still at a 6% tornado risk on that um also a 30% severe wind risk and a 2% hail risk on that one storm that's Northwest of a right now is only a 1% tornado risk um but it's starting to look interesting um it's not going to affect air though it's going to move to the Northeast so air is good for that one we do have more development here to the Southwest um we've got got now oh was that tornado watch oh the tornado watch was actually for Lake Simco but it covered covered clarify it for Lake oh you know what's silly it doesn't in our push notification it didn't say on water it just said tornado watch did it wait what about when you go on the App let me see let's go into the app together so confirm TR to watch let's see here oh it does say on water okay good at least it says it in the app yeah and all all your emojis are like going there's they're bigger than like they're like bigger than the they're bigger than the little box we're going to have to make these boxes bigger to fit Brandon's emojis in here but uh tornado watch on water squa watch on water with a mention of water spots um yeah thank you Atlanta for taking care of uh of Riverfest there I was tasked with that yesterday but Atlanta's on the ball today uh tracking that I know brena's probably gonna help out as well too or maybe Atlanta can tackle the whole thing it's gonna be a long day uh long day for her um I think we're only starting we're starting that coverage there for them at 1 but uh yeah big concert happening there at Riverfest and allur and uh we we cover their weather for them each and every year and uh huge thanks to Mike and Spencer and the whole team there and um let's see here and Dave of course let's see yeah so I'm keeping an eye on this Mento storm right now and what's going on here what okay nothing happening yet everything's trying to hook today uh there was a rainfall warning AKA flood warning here for the Bruce Peninsula cuz they're getting a boatload of precipitation today and again Kudos enironment candada being on the ball today um I know the tornado watch is coming out after the tornado warnings which uh is usually frowned upon but you know what they were on the ball with a tornado warning um they were on the ball with a severe thunderstorm warning before that that mentioned a tornado risk and even before that they updated their forecast to include a tornado RIS risk so kudos to environment Canada I have a feeling Brad was involved in that but maybe he wasn't but nevertheless uh whoever was on the ball there environment Canada Kudos we appreciate that and uh it's good to see them getting the word out quickly about this stuff I shared it as quickly as I could I posted environment Canada's forecast uh on our Pages uh that mentioned the tornado risk I did a radar update before that that said there was uh tornadoes cannot be ruled out today um so yeah lots of heads up if you follow us then you knew what was going on well before it hit so uh yeah good to uh track us down on the social medias of course on Facebook and on Twitter and I even think I posted it to Instagram and also um threads we don't always post on threads but uh threads is like the the Facebook Twitter or something like that it's Facebook has created uh a Twitter alternative called threads and so we posted it to that as well too I don't know if they have an API yet it' be nice if we could automatically post to them okay so there's that I haven't had breakfast yet but that's okay I usually I do like the intermittent fasting so I don't eat until the afternoon um literally just rolled out of bed like 40 minutes ago I know Brennon rolled out of bed like like rubbing his eyes going what there's a TR of warning and I'm already like I'm already like trying to fix my hair like running downstairs like going live it's all good brenn's been on the ball he posted a forecast yesterday that mentioned isolated tornado risk uh for the area um Kelly says did a touchdown in Cambridge I'm not sure but we know that there is um we we know that there is damage reported in the air area uh which is not far from Cambridge of course when you see Cambridge here and you can see this is air right here so we did have um damage in the air area um yeah and then we've got new storms moving through that area but right now I think it's just rain crossing my fingers it's just rain for those Folks at the moment you know what's interesting too is is the meso analysis the environment is not even that strong there's like a little tiny there's a little bit of supercell I didn't see much vtp I'm going to go take a peek at it right now look at that report Beside Me by the way that is the funnel cloud I was looking at earlier right there um is that a video that is a video oh there there's a video of the tornado right there whoa can see the clear slot to the right you can really see that cone uh where are they filming move to the right why are you not filming the tornado come back to the tornado what no one no one wants to see the tree no one wants to see the tree the tornado there we go okay um yeah look at that oh my goodness whoa thank you for that video uh Jillian appreciate that um confirm tornado earlier in air damage to was it the Home Depot or the Home Hardware I think it was Home Hardware Home Hardware yes yeah the Home Hardware um yeah tornado damage and kudos to Mark Robinson from The Weather Network because uh he did uh report tornado uh when it was happening he said tornado near dumo now that was 42 minutes ago he reported that so kudos to mark for confirming it we sent out the notification tornado confirmed on that one and uh yeah yeah kudos to everybody who reported it in Ontario storm reports as well too we appreciate that it's uh Community effort right we can get the word out as fast as we possibly can also you know what we don't mention this enough but um kudos to those who share the update I don't think you realize how profound it is when if you see us Post like tornado warning or uh a forecast for tornado risk or any of that kind of stuff stuff um you know if you click if you just see it and go okay cool or you hit the like button that's great you comment cool all that stuff is great but when you click the share button and you share it on your wall the difference between when people share our updates and when they don't is Monumental like let's say we post something important we only have a couple of shares on it it reaches like maybe you know in the best case scenarios like 30 50,000 people or so when people there's like a thousand shares on something it reaches like 2 million people so if you sh sh your uh important updates of ours to your wall for all for all of your help this storm still seems to be the one that uh machine learning is most excited about 33% uh severe risk on that storm which is the one uh now Northeast of Cambridge up uh by bad Notch bad and knock one of those it's either bad notch or bad knock I'm not quite sure but it's something Batten not seeing super strong rotation there there was rotation earlier um especially from the US radar but that has weakened a little bit it's still kind of going um east of ab foil the the US what US is is excited about with the rotation um I'm on the exitor actually let me go back to the uh let me go back to King City yeah see King City's got some stuff going on down here it's not super duper strong this this is interesting here oh yeah but it's kind of in the middle this is why the swiping tool is so useful with instant Weather Pro is you can swipe back and forth between rain uh let me try to do this so uh rain that's right and then uh wind rain wind rain wind so it's nice to look back and forth between the two and then we can also switch to different products as well too like uh correlation coefficient which is what we call CC uhoh oh boy um I'm seeing a little uh rotation notch southeast of Moffet Northwest of campbellville on US radar let's go to Buffalo and take a look at it um the Buffalo radar has seen a little bit of rotation Notch um right down here I think yeah you see that right here let's go to tilt two still something going on tilt three come on tilt three where are you come back come back tilt doesn't like a on tilt three but let's go back to tilt two yeah it's there and tilt one yeah I'm seeing that right there and it's right here on on this part of the storm uh what do we at now 6% tornado risk so just west of campbellville I'm seeing a little bit of a rotation Notch there um on that cell which is uh west of campbellville so this is west of Milton it's kind of heading towards the Milton area um heading up towards maybe Brookville and Boston Ash grve so this is this is basically just west of uh parts of the GTA just west of Miss Saga and uh I don't like the look of that you I don't like that little Notch right there cuz it doesn't look like noise and it's right right on that cell I don't like the look of that so this might be strengthening a bit um a little tiny bit of rotation here near uh uh pinch Puslinch I'm not sure Northwest of creef c r i e FF push Lynch and creef push Lynch and creef yes all right that was close thank you um yeah but I don't this is starting to turn into kind of a classic s which is interesting um oh yeah we still see that little Notch there so we're waiting for the next update on that one let's go back to um King is King picking up on it no not so much they're about equal distance H I guess and Buffalo's a little further away so king would actually give us the best idea of if if we're seeing rotation here yeah it's that that Campbell campbellville storm though but it's under my rotation polygon right now so that's good all right let's see what's happening with our MTO storm looking weaker which is good I'm glad I only went minor on that one it is looking weaker the certain some storms uming up area data for that and the latest NATO cast has like whole Southern Georgian Bay Shoreline highlighted in green or in like the gray green oh in Green Oh really if you look on the image I just sent in the chat on team chat let me take a leek yeah one sec oh I see it wa they really did upgrade it wow all the way from like godri all the way to Lake Simco they've natoc cast is a AI based kind of machine learning uh tornado forecasting uh data thing that we use as one of our tools um wow uh trains were tipped over jcir e and air it tipped a it tipped a train over look at this video right now beside me here that's a train tipped over yeah you don't tip over train carts unless you're a pretty powerful tornado the worst ones can Loft them but even tipping them over you got to be pretty strong to tip over a turn uh tip over a train that's pretty strong I'm still seeing that rotation uh Northwest of campbellville on US radar boy why isn't this charging did I do not plug it in going I need to plug that in at some point where did my cables go so disorganized this morning I'll figure it out whoa whoa there is a there's a tweet from North dumre Twitter account it says a possible tornado has touched down and it shows it on the ground why do they say possible the good old possible tornado the good old possible tornado it drives us nuts when it's like if if it's like a funnel cloud and you can't see it touching the ground same possible tornado or say funnel cloud that makes perfect sense when you have a video with a debris Cloud on the ground and we've got all these reports of damage and you say possible tornado they even mention like covering their butts so they're not the ones claiming tornado when the experts haven't looked at it yet T it's a tornado anyways um by the way Brandon can you um can you bring this up maybe on the live stream Pretty Pretty Please so it's at North dump freeze spelled dumb fries D MF r i s um at North Dum freeze um it's clear like it's cone tornado on the ground debris Cloud on the ground in that photo clear as day that's the first photo I've seen um of it on the ground of course we've had lots of reports of damage so we know a touchdown but um tipped over trains jeez hope everybody's okay that's the most important part things can be replaced people cannot okay I'm seeing a little something something going on here there a little something something oh and that went away okay good let's go back to we have a new frame from King okay it's not as exciting from King City radar right now this cell we're still at 5% tornado risk on it um it's not as exciting this storm is kind of mixing and moving around the uh rotation I saw on US radar looks like it has weakened a bit the lightning on this storm is ridiculous just ridiculous right now lots of lightning um we yeah turnado watch in place Tado warnings have been issued but are now dropped um but of course we did have a a tornado that touchdown in air earlier again we hope everybody's okay a possible tornado no it's I'm GNA go ahead and say it's a tornado I've seen enough evidence we've done this long enough that would be a tornado I'm going to go ahead I'm gonna put my neck on the line here and say think it's a tornado let me know chat let me know Chad do you think it was a tornado too let me know let me know whoa look at those pictures that just came up whoa that's not good is it like metal siding or something or is it metal from the silos that's not great thank you Aaron for the report of damage and air um that doesn't look excellent doesn't look good oh boy V says I'm confident that was a tornado all right uh cads says I'm scared don't be scared it's all good it's all good it's all good we're on it we're watching closely Diane says CP24 just showed a funnel cloud touchdown in air but didn't say tornado it's okay if they want to play it safe they can play it safe um yeah again we hope everybody's everybody stayed safe um Nicole just shared a link and said live video of the tornado maybe she meant oh was it a live somebody did a Somebody went live and and filmed it is that what that link is I can't see it Nicole what page are you on cuz we're on we're live on three different Facebook pages so I don't know which one live video of the tornado says Nicole Crower crosier lots of folks are asking about different areas right now um we're not seeing any strong rotation at the moment uh we did see some rotation on the storm and that's why we posted a rotation update there was minor rotation on the Air Storm which obviously end up turning into a tornado that's one of those rare cases where minor minor rotation actually turns into a tornado um of course there are tornado watches remember watch for a warning so watch comes typically not today but typically comes before a warning um so there's watches in place but uh that does not mean that there is a warning in place there you go watch and warning and that was actually uh made by Environment Canada I love how they did it with the poutine Solid Rock Solid um lots of folks are saying please check Kitchener kiter uh has some storms near it um I'm not seeing anything too exciting at the moment but that could change but right now Kitchener is relatively okay you're still under my minor rotation polygon I posted a long long time ago and uh continue to watch these cells but right nothing is really catching my eye right now the only storm I'm mainly concerned with which is this one here we're up to a 9% tornado risk now so it is actually the now casting is actually the AI is increasing in its percentages on this particular storm um and that's the storm that is west of msaga southwest of Bramton uh Northeast of Cambridge so this particular storm here uh machine learning is getting relatively excited about I'm still not seeing any super strong rotation on radar so uh but I would start uh I'd be preparing if you're in if you're in the path of this storm so if you're let me animate this so you can see exactly which way it's going so if you're in Milton or Ashgrove Brampton uh if it decides to shift a little bit east uh Carlile Ash Oakville Birchwood msaga uh if you're in the path of this storm or near it in the Milton area basically Northeast of Cambridge uh I would say say now's probably a good time to start preparing uh I'd be preparing to take shelter with that one preparing um again we don't see any super strong rotation yet but that is the same storm cell cluster I know it has changed quite a bit that's the same one that produced the tornado earlier near air Heather says would it slow down when it's no longer over an open field it all depends on the on the speed of the parent storm the parent storm is going to is going to dictate how fast the tornado moves it's not going to be a a surface based thing it's going to be is that storm moving quickly the tornado's going to move quickly is the storm moving slowly then the tornado's going to move slowly there's a interesting picture right there from Jenna McMurray thank you Jenna for sharing that you can see it beside me here of the tornado earlier in the air area and uh yeah very classic cone tornado earlier wow looks like a severe thunderstorm warning has now been issued for Miss Saga and Bramton and let me just take a peek at that just a severe thunderstorm warning they did not mention a tornado risk on that one at this point that could change at some point in time but right now um right now they have not mentioned uh so we've gone down to an a% tornado risk that changes every two minutes so it's gone down to eight from nine hey Adam uh yes getting an update from my in-laws who are in push Lynch they're saying that uh quite a bit of Road flooding because amount of rain on those that storm there yeah and it's not moving anywhere yeah that makes perfect sense that's right okay thank you for that update so in push's here um Atlanta has a family there and they're saying of course uh flooding and that makes sense cuz watch how long the storm has been on top of that area yeah these are six minute updates so it's been there for because tornado risk because these storms are there's going to be several rounds today already seeing training storms that's right yeah they're kind of moving slow today which is interesting now you also mentioned Milton uh getting hit from what I'm seeing it looks like it might clip the North End on the north side of the 401 but uh I'd be more concerned for areas like spayside Ashgrove Hornby and to south Georgetown CU it's just the majority of it seems to be hanging out north of the 401 yeah makes sense sou into Milton but yeah it's kind I feel like the bottom of it is kind of try it's it keeps building you see like new there's like these new pop-ups that come out of nowhere I know I'm moving this really fast let me slow down my animation here let's go down to one times we'll go one times so you can see these like little popups come out of nowhere yeah they they're see that popped up out of nowhere and they're like merging into the parent cell actually I don't like the look of that I don't like the fact that this is merging right into it's turning into a Flying V just by a cell popping up here and then merging right into that cell right there so I don't like to look at that but so far oh on a second here yeah so anyone who's hanging out at Kelo today is GNA be uh getting pretty wet too what uh what's going on in Kelo anything oh it's just a it's conservation area oh I see I see yeah I'm sure that's cell and then the one that's underneath it as well too and it's uh all moving to the Northeast what percentage are we at now seven okay we've gone down another percentage that's good Wendy says marine radio just forecast severe thunderstorms and tornado warnings for Lake Simco they forecast the tornado warnings that's strange I don't think they would have done that but um uh maybe a tornado risk uh no pictures yet but I just wanted to warn people in the lake Simco area oh there's a tornado watch right there's a tornado watch for Lake Simco which makes sense um area we live on Lake Simco and have marine radio and the Marine forecasts share the information over the radio yeah so there's there's a risk for tornadoes today um in Lake Simco area so in the barry area Barry's under uh tornado watch as well too looks like uh oh we got a little bit of action in the Prairies today what's happening with my hair here oh jeez uh we got a little action in the Prairies um looks like Saskatchewan Regina Swift Current area has a risk for 90 to 100 kilm hour wind gust based on environment Canada's forecast map 2 to 3 cm hail and 30 mm of rain and there's actually a funnel cloud risk just south of Edmonton kind of like Red Deer Edmonton and a little bit to the east a little bit of a funnel cloud risk there as well so H interesting interesting so we might have to pay attention to that later I would think maybe go live in Saskatchewan later on today if and when that develops busy day okay so and this main cluster that is Northwest of uh Lake Ontario at the moment this main this is the main cluster we're watching right now that we're relatively concerned with but again we're not seeing anything super strong for rotation but that could change as we saw it rapidly change this morning and uh we'll just have to sit here and watch by sit here I mean stand here because I'm on a standing desk I feel like my voice is coming around again when I first started I was like hey everybody I haven't talked all morning on why is this Arrow going to the east is that going east kind of oh yeah it is stretching East all right all right keeping an eye on these arrows okay I need to get a power cable for this iPad before it dies uh Adam look at the video that I'm bringing up oh my goodness that's the the location where the train is that got flipped over oh boy well that's the first video we've seen of the tornado doing damage you want to hit play on that again I didn't get to see the start of it whoa look at the look how fast the motion is above and videos never look as good as things do in person I've I filmed what I thought was rapid rotation before and I went and watched the video and it was like I don't like that did not look like what it looked like in real life this video it's so rapidly rotating in this video it is it is moving that is wild thank you uh for sharing that video our daughter was at work at Team Vincent Motorsport and they have boats flipped in debris everywhere and Transformers Down yeah that's a violent little tornado that touchdown this morning oh boy o hope everybody's okay that's one way to start your day oh my goodness hope everybody's all right I don't think we've heard of any injuries but let us know if you hear of anything oh boy all right thank you Leila for sharing that appreciate it I do need to get a power cable where's that video from SS can I believe that's from Air a y r air Emily says how's Peter area for torado risk um I mean it's hard to say for sure I think the main are is around kind of like georan Bay and Lake Ontario um pet is in a severe thunderstorm watch though okay um tomorrow looks a little more interesting for Eastern Ontario and I think Peter burough was included in that in environment Canada's uh risk for tomorrow oh my goodness though oh my just going through the comments here everybody's asking about their area it's hard to say for sure you're like is ang someone says is Angus going to get hit by tornado we don't know we know that there has been a tornado today already and we know that the environment is going to strengthen into the afternoon and the environment wasn't even that strong this morning another one of those it's kind of the same thing that happened in Niagara it was just like yeah supercells at like a supercell's not even out a two it's out of one from what I saw in the models yesterday I haven't looked yet um it looked like the environment was going to be stronger in like the mid to late afternoon hours especially up towards Lake zimco yeah actually I'm looking at Future supercell and it uh highlights a kind of a bullseye to around the Midland area which is that's where I have to go to that wedding today they have a wedding uh in kind of east of Midland today and it's like highlighting a bullseye of of strengthening uh environment right around that area so that's not great um oh boy hopefully they've got an indoor option uh we've gone down to 3% tornado risk on this cell now which is good it's good just to watch the percentages and see what's happening although it's got a little bit of a tail on it so we'll watch closely um I still have that minor rotation polygon on that storm that was near Mento but it looks like it has weakened quite a bit yeah still a little something going on on complete the outside of my polygon now but I'll keep an eye on that little whatever that is something something in the way she um yeah [Music] there's interesting near Georgetown yeah I had a friend in Georgetown message me about strong wind Gus like just now uh let's see there's yeah there's a oh we gone up to 5% again so we've increased I think a little bit um I just increased again so if I go to Buffalo you can see there's a little something going on in Georgetown from Buffalo right here there's a little bit of weak rotation it's still in my rotation polygon barely barely yeah it's still there so we're going to watch that closely very closely ly um that video was wild oh boy oh boy Heather says question like the video from Air do you stay in your vehicle when you see a tornado that close or do you get out and seek shelter so that's uh a longstanding question and there's debates of do you go and like line a ditch and cover your head or do you uh do you stay in your vehicle um the thing that is the most fatal typically in tornadoes is flying debris um the the worrisome part about a vehicle is if it could get lofted and that usually only happens in very violent tornadoes usually only um ef2 or stronger can Loft a vehicle usually I think an ef1 can roll a vehicle but uh ef2 and stronger could literally Loft it if you're going up in the air in the vehicle then that's not great um so it's hard to say that's that's a very tricky situation you got to kind of play it by ear um if you're if if you can kind of see the direction the tornado's heading if it's moving like left to right you can so you can actually see it's going that way you know go the other way um but if you can't tell if it's moving left or right it might be coming directly towards you and that is tricky if you have time you want to get to a sturdy shelter so if you're at a store or something you might want to go inside and try to find sturdy shelter like an interior bathroom inside or something like that um you know hopefully they maybe have a storm shelter at wherever you happen to be at um if you're kind of in the middle of nowhere and you can't find a sturdy shelter um and it's a giant wedge tornado that would be a different story if it was like 1985 May 31st you would not want to be in a vehicle during those situations but again it all depends on where you are in the vehicle people have survived in vehicles because the vehicle is kind of a little metal box and sometimes it can stop the debris but when debris is flying quickly though it can Pierce a vehicle so but I mean lying in the ditch with your hands over your head you're just trying to avoid those really strong winds um that are typically higher up off the ground uh but I don't know there's no there's really no good I don't have a good answer there's no great situation there you have to play it by ear and see what's going on I'd have to each circumstance is going to be different so like we have to almost like play out a whole bunch of examples and say what you do in a what you do in B what you do in C um be interesting to do some like use um use virtal weather to do some 3D like simulated examples what what circumstances you might fall into I prefer the most the best one is don't travel when there's a tornado risk that's not always the case not everybody can do that some people have to travel for a living um they have no choice but to travel um there's that photo we saw earlier you can see Dora posted it right here that's that photo from the um what was it dump freeze um North dump fre North dumre I was going to say new dump freeze no North dump free yeah that's that photo right there that one right there where you can see it's on the ground you can see the cone very clearly and then you can see this debris cloud right on the ground so that's clearly tornado on the ground in that photo yeah so I don't know there's no there's no easy answer let's see here okay so there's that tiny little bit of rotation near huttonville on US radar which is what I'm looking at right here this is just a little there a little tiny pocket and if you swipe over it's like hm it's right where this part of the storm is is hooking a little bit and you see a little tiny pocket of rotation let's go to tilt two has a little something going on there I need tilt four hold on let's go back to tilt one okay there's something going on with that cell it's just about to leave my rotation polygon I might go minor rotation continued on that one whoa where did this the how do you pronounce it again Atlanta push push P Lynch push like almost like almost like like there's an H right like a push Lynch okay um oh it is oh it's push lych okay yeah I sometimes throw an H in there just from saying it too fast I see that's what it is okay P puss lych yeah um it that uh machine learning just went up to well it was higher but it just dropped down to 6% tornado risk though all of a sudden now on that cell it just got real excited about that cell uh over push Lynch interesting though because again I'm not seeing super duper strong rotation there oh I'm looking at it from Buffalo let's go here okay interesting um I'm not seeing super strong rotation there but again this is a Now cast which means it's kind of trying to give us a heads up there was that there has been some circumstances where I'm like oh that's interesting why is the tornado risk going up for machine learning but but we're not seeing any rotation and then like two radar frames later there's rotation and it's like okay you knew things that we can't see because you're ingesting so much data that we're not paying attention to this is being calculated based on height of the storm um uh lightning intensity if it's increasing um uh the vertical wind shear there's a lot of factors going in we're kind of looking at like lowest level of radar it's looking at the entire radar picture uh there's it's looking at a lot of different data so there's things that the machine can see before we do you know cuz maybe it's starts to rotate really high up where we're not paying attention to the higher up in the storm and then that rotation starts to dip further and further down and then we see it so uh that's why it's really cool to be able to see uh what what the machine is thinking with uh with these storms excuse me okay new radar update we got the 1224 I love how fast Canadian radar updates I know I'm always promoting inim othera Pro but I mean it's like awesome so just going to put that out there inwe Pro is awesome I'm biased but I think it's the truth I think it's the best Canadian radar available just going to put it out there um Julie says we got a warning to take cover in South London anything going on in South London what's go you got a warning I don't think so I think there's only a watch there right now do you mean you got to watch is there a warning in London here let me refresh I'll hit F5 and see if I'm missing something no I only see a watch for London that would not be a warning that would be a watch Linda says yes Adam it's fantastic thank you so much Linda appreciate it thank you Hy yeah a lot of various uh the wickerman says is pro how I get that radar you have to go to instant weatherpro docomo because it's costing us a lot of money to run it a lot there's a lot of data we're processing here our our AWS bills are unbelievable right now uh yeah it's it's shocking but anyways and we appreciate all those who are supporting this project who want to continue to see uh a Canadian focused Pro radar Suite developed by Canadians um but we've done some really something's going on right here we've done some really interesting stuff for us as well too so we're trying to improve it for the us we've added all the US alerts so if I back up here you can see we've got all the US alerts we've got lightning data all the way down to Cuba um we've got here's the uh hurricane discussion the tropical Cyclone information statement uh we've got all the Canadian alerts as well too of course and we've got uh we actually have the fastest loading Canadian radar data available by far there's other Pro radar apps out there that are cool they've got you know they're they're useful um but I don't really use them anymore I mean I kind of put them up sometimes to take a peek but um I don't use them anymore because uh when I want to see the latest radar frame it takes an extra two minutes to get it on the other apps and two minutes when you're tracking severe weather 2 minutes is a lifetime it's a long time to sit around and wait for the next radar frame so anyways if you head over to instant weatherpro doccom you can subscribe to it and follow along with us on the stream and not only follow along with us on the stream um some members of our community are amazing to the point where like if you notice on some previous live streams like Suds don't know what his name is but his name is Suds um H he's been like hey Adam take a look at the storm I'm tracking it on instant Weather Pro up here and I go and look at it and I'm like oh yeah that's not good that's a thank you and so it's a interesting Community effort um where everybody's kind of helping out thanks so much Habs 316 appreciate the super sticker that's very kind of you very very kind of you thank you kindly I appreciate that um Starshine says that message should have said you can check for watches warnings and alerts on the environment Canada website for sure you can go to the environment Canada website and we recommend um even though we have our free app which works great we recommend everybody download uh environment Canada's free app as well too no one system is perfect our our app is not perfect you know the weather Network's not perfect Environment Canada stuff is not perfect nobody's perfect so it's good to have more than one option to to receive alerts so we always recommend downloading at least you know if you have ours some people say oh I only trust yours I only have yours and we're like actually you might want to also download environment candidat app because it's good to see uh it's good to have two options at least two options to be a little bit redundant I know you're going to get double the notifications and all that kind of stuff but really you know if their system blows up you'll get it from ours if our system blows up you get it from theirs so these things happen it's a it's a good idea to uh uh to check both Dolly says this is a great this is great commentary folks if you're not in a warning or watch you can learn so much from Adam who helps take a lot of the mystery out of the weather situations thank you so much Dolly I appreciate that there a big reason why we started this is was my own frustration with the lack of detail like I always tell the story but when I used to read you know you read the tornado warning at the bottom of the screen like the red like the red bar at the bottom of the screen and you'd read it like 12 times and you think maybe the 12 time the details are going to change and they never did um that's the that that frustrated me to no end I am seeing rotation going into Brampton right now that I don't like it's on US radar um I'm not liking it it's not as strong on Canadian radar but maybe the Canadian rer has not updated yet but I am seeing this uh pocket of uh rotation right here that was the rotation we saw earlier it's right on this hook and yeah that's rotation going right into Brampton right now okay I'm going to do a new polygon gone let me do that quickly and okay um yeah rotation in Bramton tracking to the Northeast I'm going to do a polygon right now on that storm I don't like the look of that um let me see here it's right over Bramton okay and it's on US radar it's not as prevalent on Canadian radar but I'm still going to I'm still going to send a polygon here cuz I don't like the look of it okay rotation ramp it let me just make sure which way it's going I think it's going to the Northeast yeah looks like it's going perfectly to the Northeast okay okay I'm going to do a update for Bramton here um rotation detected on this storm uh near Brampton tracking to the Northeast and the time here is finally we're in the afternoon 12:31 okay looks good to me I'm going to send out a notification to all those in the path and it's done I've practiced that a few times see here okay let me just bring this over to here okay go okay okay let's see here just going through the comments s there's so many comments to get through from all our different platforms um Smith says I've got instant weather and ECCC app on my phone perfect that works good it's good to have more than one definitely no system is perfect um Holly says there's a video a short video short and Ontario storm reports of gen D of the uh air tornado forming okay thank you for that um what's going on with onar storm reports the swiping yeah there's a perfect example this is why the swiping tool is so useful in instant Weather Pro is if you look at Kelo right now if I look at here I go oh is that rotation probably wind farms or something but let's see here uh it looks like something it's like is this something and then you swipe over and you go oh it's in between these two storms so it's probably just noise there's a lot of noise on radar that you have to be careful of a lot of time uh we seen people be very very excited and concerned about noise and we're like actually it's just noise it's all good so uh and that just takes years and years of watching radar to be like is this noise or is this actually rotation all that kind of stuff um yes on the US radar still seeing some rotation near Brampton it may have weakened a little bit it's been going for a few frames now though so that made me think it's probably a good idea to send that notification out but it may have weakened a little bit just now so we'll continue to watch here one sec see how it develops it's not as strong on um Canadian radar is not showing it as much but it is midlevel rotation showing from uh from the Detroit radar sorry not Detroit radar I'm so used to saying that because we're always covering like Windsor area um from the Buffalo radar Erica says our power went out for a few minutes and Windsor it's I don't think anything's going on on down there but I can take a PE I think it was just coincidental oh there is some little popups down there hello hello nothing exciting though by the way our US radar loads so fast now our Dev team I love our Dev team they're so amazing like I just click a US radar that that nobody else is loaded and it's just boom it's just instantaneous all it's instant I like when things are instant I don't like waiting for data I don't mind waiting like in a waiting room or something I don't care I'm usually just on my phone watching weather but uh but waiting for data drives me nuts torrential or the winds are getting wild all of this stuff is important so when people scroll through the comment feed they're not just seeing a thousand questions um directed at me of what's Happening they can actually see what is what people are experiencing in real time it's like a it's like a live version of Ontario storm reports it's it's great so we really appreciate it when you let us know what you're experiencing because coincidentally you are where you're located so you have ground truth that we don't have so we appreciate it when you let us know um Maxine says just saw a post someone in Hamilton got a tornado warning slatch I believe it's only a tornado watch at this point in time I have not seen a tornado warning issued for Hamilton I don't think there's any tornado warnings in place at the moment there's only tornado watches watch for a warning it's the easy way to remember it watch for a warning watch usually comes first not this morning but usually comes first um and then warning typically comes after or sometimes it's like this morning where Storm ramps up gets really strong boom there's a tornado warning confirmed tornado on the ground damage flipped trains damage structures hydrop Pooles trees Etc hopefully everybody stayed safe and then uh and then Environment Canada says okay I think it's time and they put a big watch in the area kind of thing so that does happen at times I think uh this morning it was a little a bit unexpected um yeah a bit unexpected to see a tornado that early we thought we thought there could be tornadoes in the morning and that's why I posted that radar update and said you know with the morning storms a tornado cannot be ruled out so we gave a heads up for that but uh but yeah that was that was pretty wild there's my there's Suds I was just talking about Suds I talked about Suds I was also on um I was on the Stormfront freaks podcast again um and and talked uh talked about I actually talked about you Suds on there and said how uh wonderful community members like yourself are they tracking using instant Weather Pro can help a lot where you're giving us a heads up of stuff you see that we're not even paying backup yeah we don't mention them but it's it was like the first cool product that we really came out with we initially launched an app called Tornado GPS which had its problems and we ended up sunsetting it and scrapping it um it was really really cool though it was like the first ever 3D radar app that existed it was pretty awesome um but it definitely was buggy and had some issues with servers and all this kind of stuff it was our first attempt and it it it didn't go so great um but what we did is we took all the revenue from instant weather uh sorry from tornado GPS and we built our text message alert system which is still going today um if you go to textmessage alerts.com I think it's $4.49 a month and therefore we text you alerts and then if you want more details you literally text back the word more and then we send you the rest of the details um and it's really great cuz it doesn't require the internet and that's useful because you know sometimes you're traveling and you're in an area where all of a sudden your phone says like 3G and you can barely load a website um text messages typically still work even in those uh kind of crappy cell phone uh signal areas so um especially for people in rural areas um but people who also want you know when when things are bananas and everybody's hitting the cell phone tower at the same time and and power goes out so your Wi-Fi is down and everybody's hitting the cell phone tower because there's a tornado warning and you and you're trying to load any website and nothing's happening like for those moments text message alerts are like the critical thing because they typically will still uh come through even when uh even when things are super super slow so at least they'll have the best chance cuz an a simple basic it's literally called sms's what is it again is it simple messaging service or is it simple or is it something else I'm going double check it what is the definition of SMS SMS text message SMS meaning text message it's Oh short message service so yeah it's the most basic kind of message that can get through and it's probably the most reliable or uh the least prone to kind of Internet outages type of thing so yeah anyways but if you go to textmessage alerts.com you can subscribe to that we've had that going since 2015 it's been pretty Rock Solid since 2015 let us know it's fantastic U Mark says what elevation setting do you use um and what's the difference in the data you might see so um yeah typically I look at the lowest lowest cuz the lowest level is the radar trying to scan the lowest possible and then it scans a little higher a little higher a little higher a little higher um so right now for example I'm on um I'm on King City rad and the elevation at the bottom says 5275 so that's the one I use but if I go up to tilt 2 now we're getting into um 0.9 so it's good to compare tilt two to tilt one I usually go tilt one tilt two sometimes if it's a really strong storm or if I'm really trying to figure out if that rotation is is being supported in the upper levels I'll go to tilt three and tilt four um but usually tilt one is what I'm looking at and sometimes tilt one is noisy so I'll go and check out tilt 2 as well um yeah and that's just what I like to do everybody's different but it's uh it's good to look at different tilts to see if you think something's rotation if you think you're seeing some rotation and you go to tilt two and there's nothing there that's sometimes an indication that maybe it's just noise maybe it's outflow maybe it's just convergence it's you know there's a few things there um I need to turn down this air conditioner because I'm freezing hold on I'm leaning down to grab my remote so I can turn down the air conditioner how am I why is every day is different sometimes I set this thing to like 21 celsius and I'm boiling in here and it says it's like 27 and then today I set it to 23 it says 23 but I'm freezing put it up to 25 okay it changes day by day I think I haven't done it yet but I should probably load up virtue weather so we can take a look at these storms in 3D let me know in the comments east of Milton there's just so much precipitation coming down and these storms are moving slowly so definitely a flooding risk with these storms I would think Vivian says the sun just came out in a Miss Saga cell seems to be kicking it up a notch again um what else do we have we have the one we have this one but I think these storms have weakened yeah and that was the rotation that went all the way up to Georgetown from Cambridge I think I'm going to scrap that for now you know what's going to happen if I scrap it though right getting superstitious here soon as I soon as I remove it things are going to strengthen well if that happens I can always send out another notification so there's always more polygons I can draw I'm gonna wait one frame with that one though I'll wait one frame the airstorm and then I know notified minor rotation on that storm and then we notified tornado reported so I mean maybe it had a calm demeanor but definitely definitely relatively excited about the fact that there was a tornado this is interesting an says your app is not currently showing a tornado watch or warning for Hamilton it just shows a severe thunderstorm watch oh okay I wasn't sure if it extended to Hamilton or not so um yeah so I don't know why somebody said that there was the heard somebody say there was a tornado watcher warning for Hamilton but so it turns out neither of those are true thank you for clarifying that an I appreciate it Janette says Ottawa Ottawa is good right now but there's a risk potentially in Ottawa for tomorrow um I'm not sure if eastern Ontario is going to be a problem today it maybe but probably not but uh I the main risk is kind of around Georgian Bay in Lake Ontario uh but tomorrow uh Eastern Ontario has a has a tornado risk on environment screen not yet widget has been on the list for a while but then we got kind of distracted building in some wether Pro but we do have a developer now who has experience with widgets so uh that is on the list it's not like the first thing that's going to happen but is on the list we've people have been begging us for a widget for years so um yes we want to get it done uh hopefully 2025 is I think right now so um our new developer who actually is um the main developer for virtue weather has come over to also help us with instant weather and uh has been uh just popping out features Left Right set it's been really exciting so um as as you can see got the storm risk ready got the the it was the I don't know if it was the last live stream but it was a recent live stream where all of a sudden the arrows just showed up in the middle of our stream I hit refresh and they were there I was like what I was so shocked I was like Wow there we go look at the lightning on this storm though this Miss Saga cell and uh still 7% tornado risk on it still 34% chance of severe wind on it let's go take a look at some of these other storms this one's starting to kick it up a not this one west of listol starting to pick it up here and this storm up here near Priceville is starting to get interesting there's a little something going on there tiny little baby hook where do you think you're going was that our mental Storm from before I think it might have been or at least it's very close to it oh boy um is that from exitor yeah exor's talking about is very excited about the upper levels of that storm exitor is really excited about the storm uh King City not as much but yeah that storm is definitely the one right now whoa whoa whoa whoa whoa whoa whoa whoa okay that Miss Saga hook um someone was talking about earlier um yeah uh that Miss Saga hook uh now has pretty strong rotation on US radar on that Miss Saga hook right now do I have a polygon in this thing I don't I don't have a polygon on that part of it okay all right all right all right new polygon incoming let me do this quickly here because US radar just got real excited about that oh boy um and that is that hook is Right basically in Miss Saga and there's rotation on it here so uh boy oh boy okay so I think it's right about there and which way is it going I think it's going to the Northeast as they all are oh I got to plug this iPad in before it dies it's 36% now oh boy rotation right in Miss Saga ah I don't like the look of it here uh that could be going into Toronto maybe is it going is it going right to the right I don't like that I don't like that I don't like this oh boy okay um not great not great rotation in Miss Saga on this storm right now I don't like the look of it um rotation detected on Buffalo is so excited about it we reected uh I'm going to say focused rotation focused rotation on the storm in missas Saga tracking to the east Northeast into Toronto and the timing here is 1258 and I'm sending that out to 9,000 people right now here we go I don't like the look at this at all I'm going to show you on US radar as soon as I get rid of this um I don't like the look of that at all oh boy okay let me show you what I'm talking about here what are we at 8% tornado risk on it now and if I go to Buffalo radar you'll see exactly what I'm talking about here so this part of the storm which has a hook and here's the rotation right here I don't like the look at this at all right near cooksville um rotation near cooksville missaka Hospital area let's see here yep I don't like it I don't like that rotation right there that concerns me you'll see my polygon pop up pretty soon I if I just hit refresh it'll pop up if I hit F5 it refresh and you'll see my polygon there it is right there there's my polygon rotation detected it's tracking to the east Northeast it's going that way it's going right into a tobico I think I don't like to look at that where are we at now now 7% tornado risk on that storm oh boy that's not great man this moves so fast I can't get any of these comments he says am I reading radar correctly to me it looks like the worst of it is going to miss Midland um there's definitely a chance for Midland storms later on today I wouldn't base it on the current storms you're looking at right now I would base it on um kind of the future development there's definitely a risk for Midland later on today just based on all the model data I've seen don't like the storm over Miss Saga look at this look at this report right beside me from Marissa says I'm not sure exactly where we were on the 401 at 10:43 a.m. but we ended up driving right through oh yeah they're right beside the tornado driving right through it debris everywhere the tornado had debris flying over the place U multiple police were headed that way shortly after we saw a semi- truck on its side not sure if it was related to storm probably it was definitely a crazy experience oh my goodness that's not great thank you for sharing that report oh boy excuse me let's see here um let's see um treasure says yeah Miss Saga is bad oh boy oh boy oh boy okay uh new radar update came in let's see if it maybe weakened a bit um still kind of there it's a little bit more broad now it may have weakened a bit uh it looks worse on um it looks worse on King now though this is a little disconnect from the hook so you can see the hooks right here and if I scroll over you can see what I'm looking at like for for inflow is a little disconnected but there's a really strong signature look at tilt 2 93 km an hour 102 105 it's a little bit further from the storm here oh I'm not I'm not on til two for reflectivity though see that's connected to the precipitation I don't like this hook like look at this hook that is a pretty clear hook I don't like this really strong inflow happening right now saw on Twitter I believe this A Milli potential wall cloud plus lots of rising SCS seen on the Miss Saga Storm from Lake Ontario Cole told Twitter before us Cole you did a poll should did I sit down and 80% said yes how did you do this poll did you do it on is it on streamyard no on YouTube okay okay 80% said I should sit down it's actually down to 73 right now so you're losing that was Cole oh it's down to 73 so they think I should continue to stand up potential wall cloud plus little baby cell trying to sneak around while we're paying attention to something else and it's heading Northeast so it's uh right near Irish Lake West of flesherton and it's actually tracking to the Northeast I don't like it you're getting them you're getting a polygon that's right you're getting a polygon okay um where do you think you're going little one it's just west of fleron northeast of Durham and it's going to the north going up towards Thornbury I think maybe up towards Callingwood it's hard to say for sure it's really moving North which the which this the storm arrow is not getting correctly but you can really see that inflow right there there yeah and it's going north so it's west of flesherton tracking to the Northeast so probably towards Thornberry okay it could move in a different way but I think it's that's the way it's going here I'm going to extend my polygon a little bit to the West so it maybe hits meford my polygon should include meford as well too but I'm going to go minor rotation detected on the Storm west of flesherton tracking to the north north Northeast potentially towards [Music] Thornbury Etc and then um it's 110 okay and clickity clicky clacky back what is that report where' my head go come back head oh there I okay and now I am sitting what North York oh okay so that's that cell interesting interesting still actually US radar is starting to look a little bit stronger um let's go see what uh that's King how does King look it's a little messy what's tilt to doing yeah king is not as concerning for me at this point but us rer 9% tornado risk on that cell um but US radar looks a little stronger I do want to take a peek at that little what's our little storm doing oh it's up to 4% tornado risk now on that storm that little flesherton Markdale storm is up to 4% that's a bit of an increase from where we were before the storm arrow is clearly struggling but we can see it's going that way be really cool you know would be awesome if I could actually like adjust the the arrows in real time so if I'm just like watching radar I can be like that arrow is wrong I click it and just move it to where it's supposed to be but not like a feature like oh that could be a community feature correct the storm arrows and but what if somebody decides to put storm Arrow this way why would somebody do that I don't know but it's got to be pretty boring though as far as storm risk is concerned only a 2% chance of severe storms with those um mainly these storms in the GTA are this still the main focus at the moment still 16% tornado risk 16 this is one of those times again where you're like there's not really that much rotation on this cell and then two frames later there will be we'll see we'll see you can see my new polygon for significant flooding reported hello something going on there something in the [Music] I'll just hum it so we don't get a copyright [Music] strike um [Music] um there's something going on here parking garage flooded YYZ and so it begins lots of precipitation happening downtown Toronto right now these train these training storms yeah these are training so this is perfect example of training you see there's just like there's just more development happening in behind the storms they it seems like they're moving out of the area but they just never go away that's when you have training storms and that's when you start to see some big time flooding especially when you have the concrete jungle so uh that's not good that's not great oh boy uh JC says apparently the severe thunderstorm warning for a tobico has ended really has that's correct they ended all like the only warnings that are still in effect are for like York Region Durham there's a there's a rainfall warning though right okay they do have a flood there's a rainfall warning yes good well that makes sense I think that's how they should they were there's been so many times where they use the severe thunderstorm warning just for flooding but I think they should just use the rainfall warning for flooding I think that makes way more sense they should have a flooding advisory for flooding and save severe thunderstorm warning stuff for when you know when it's doing damaging wind gusts and and large hail and that type of thing I think that makes way more sense it's going through the comments excuse me Eric says is there no tornado Amber Alert anymore it's adorable how people call call them Amber Alerts but makes sense cuz that's what you're referring to is the is it has it hit our cell phone kind of thing um no there good just as is let's see here okay the tornado risk on this Ajax storm starting to dial it down a bit but it's kind of turning into a little bit of a bow here so there's a damaging win risk with this one although velocity looks pretty boring so we'll see what it does over time but it's got that it's got that Boe look to it which is uh not great um and uh the hook hooko and a topico the rotation from Canadian radar is very weak but the midlevel rotation from the US radar has been quite prevalent and continues here um you can really see it as we animate it you can see right here from Miss Saga watch as I go up you can actually see it rotating yeah you can see it turning and it's got something going on here but it's kind of mixing in with another storm so hopefully that mitigates Karen says why butter is used is to put a protect protective layer of moisture Between the Bread and the filling example cheese keeps both uh fresh I think you're saying but doesn't really do anything for peanut concerned with at the moment is this storm overy tobico I'm not seeing uh anything too significant anywhere else at the moment she was talking about Georgia um not seeing anything at the moment are you talking about the state of Georgia or you talking about Georgia the town because if you're talking about Georgia the state um yeah we don't cover the us right now on these streams but uh oh you're talking about the state yeah I would go take a look at there's a few great streamers in the states um max velocity Evan fryberger is great uh Ryan Hall there's there's a whole bunch of skilled uh skilled streamers in the US uh we do want to eventually expand our coverage to the US but it's to cover the US properly you need like we need like literally a team of five people five Mets that can cover the US properly um so that's uh that's a development we're we'll be working on eventually if we can get to that level but uh for right now uh we cover Canada on our streams hard enough covering Canada yeah the US to that 12 1,200 tornadoes a year on average in the US it's uh not there's for a single human to cover that it's ridiculous and so for Evan fryberger and uh and uh Max velocity and Ryan Hall I mean kudos to them because it's like burnout City to try to to try to cover all that stuff so they are doing a wonderful job covering storms in the States but yeah give them a give them a look for uh for coverage over there we especially like Evan fryberger he's awesome he's cool and he's always uh he promotes every time somebody asks him about Canada he sends them our way and every time uh people ask us about the us we send him his way let's see here miss ezri says Ryan Hall had a tour of his whole house he has set up yeah it's a whole village behind that stream it is for sure but he's still basically the guy on the Stream So he basically has to be live all the time which is uh uh which is a lot um orene says Vince WTI yeah he's there's a lot of great charm Chasers by the hugging at the moment um the US radar looks like it's uh the rotation we see on US radar looks like it could be weakening here which is good news there's still a little bit of a hook on Canadian radar but US radar seems to be weakening on that storm which is good we don't want it to strengthen we want it to weaken so there it is right there it was looking pretty interesting these past few frames um but it is especially that frame right there and but it looks like it has weaken quite a bit and so it may be uh dialing it down but then we've got all of these storms to the West um looks like there's a big storm on top of allora right now where we're covering uh the storms for uh Riverfest here in Aur right now we're currently covering that Atlanta is taking care of that at the moment I appreciate that Atlanta um thankfully nothing too significant on those storms at the moment no just the odd lightning strike which I have advised them about okay perfect yeah I would definitely let them know like the distance of the lightning strike if you can measure it out you know let them know how close they are and stuff like that all those details are super helpful for them [Music] um but I'm sure wait to check that out nice looks like things have or things clearing up a little bit for our friends and allur yeah there's a cell to their Northeast that's still producing a bit of lightning but they're seeing some significant clearing which is great that's good it's definitely not the end you can see all these storms coming in from Michigan here MH so there's that okay hopefully everybody stayed safe today with the tornado this morning that was not great um I don't think we've heard of any significant injuries um but sometimes we don't hear about those until um until later on water Regional was saying that there were no reported injuries so that's always a good start because that's a good start yeah they would know if any anyone required medical attention yeah that's that's a really good start so does that look like a pretty strong little tornado I mean to do all that damage turn roofs off flipping trains those are some pretty big damage indicators so I don't know if if there specifically is a damage indicator for flipping a train but I I don't doubt it they probably look into that yeah and the damage indicators I I think they're I'm not sure if they're exactly the same but I think they might be different for Canada than they are for the us but you might be find that I mean it's basically just ask Dave if he'll know for sure but I know he's he's a touch busy at the moment he's leading the team going on with those Owen Sound storms I've seen it both on King and Brit it's like a little bit of minor sign if you like animate let's see oh you mean that yeah you can also see it on um yeah see almost looks like a little convergence or something something I don't think it's anything too significant but yeah it is kind of spinning a bit that's pretty weak though I think it's okay 0.01 pretty low 1% what's our uh what do we got for supercell here okay we got supercell and two it's building up to a two I think the storms are going to get more interesting as uh as they head up into towards Simco County that's when things probably get a bit more interesting and it looks like yeah we should have Super S 2 around that area we should have at least a little bit of sigor not too much though I wonder if you know this might be one of those events where um where it's a kind of a one-off I mean I hope I don't get quoted for that cuz things go down the drain but uh it might be one of those one-off moments where we have kind of a mesoscale accident um oh how about that storm update uh yeah no physical injuries have been reported throughout waterl region all right that's great I just looked at the um damage indicators as listed on the National Weather Service website yeah yeah and it's all buildings or like Hydro poles trees so nothing related to trains um oh this is from Brit this scared me for a sec I was like um is this the current rotation on this storm but this is from Brit which is a real big distance away so if we take a if we take a look at the closest radar there's like no rotation but there is some upper level rotation from you can really see it from a distance to see if there's upper level rotation here quite a bit of upper level rotation on that storm yeah right there west of Ponty pool but uh yeah that's from a radar that's quite far away made me a little nervous for a second there but I realized that probably elevated all right I'm going to get rid of that rotation uh excuse me that rotation detected polygon I have for um a toico excuse me by the way my toast was amazing Credit Valley conservation just put their flood warning to their highest level um High flows from precipitation has resulted in increased water levels water levels will remain high high and may become unsafe especially around culverts bridges and dams keep family and pets away from water courses uh the Credit Valley conservation has just posted as updated to flood warning so lots of precipitation today folks flooding is the main risk there is some risk for damaging winds there is still a little hint of some tornado potential but uh we might be looking at mainly a flooding event moving forward we'll see see how this does develop still train to watch in place of course but we'll see how that does develop over time um I'm going to take a peek at some of the latest model data in the background [Music] here um what is this video cooksville Creek is about two inches or so away from flooding the road there's a children's Park In The Water Somewhere oh that's not good where's cooksville cooksville cooksville anybody know I believe that's Miss Saga oh okay yes it is I see yeah that makes sense Miss Saga getting big time flooding what's going on here do you think you're hooking to almost look like a bookend Vortex it actually was a bookend Vortex right here it had a definitely a bookend look to it and then it's kind of getting softer but it's still interesting still got something going on there keep an eye on that one I'm going to leave my significant flooding polygon for Miss Saga area the significant flooding reported um but I'm going to get rid of that rotation [Music] one while there's some good news all the severe Thunders or mornings of just ended oh that's good news we still have the tornado watching effect though have to see what happens with that yeah I don't know if they're going to keep it going or probably keep it going assuming that uh things will get a little strong I know like Bas of the models have been talking about like 4 5:00 mainly yeah but the main area further to the north of the current tornado watch if there is true later that's right that's true what about this polygon I've got for Niagara looks like this whole thing is donez yeah Niagara is gone like that weekend which is good um so still try to watch and place this could be a little water spout over the water right here that little might be a little water spout action kind of looks like a little supercell is it which way is it going oh it is going to the Northeast okay well that's actually worth watching got to pay attention to this it's got a hook and it's got a tiny little bit of rotation on it might want to go minor rotation on this one just cuz it's going to it's going to reach land pretty soon and it's looks like it's getting a little more intense look at the look at the wild bookend hook on this one right here near Pony pool but but thankfully overall the rotation is quite weak on that one that's the one that had that from Brit radar that's the one that had what looked like rotation from a distance yeah this is it from a distance up here from Brit okay all right yeah I think I might go Miner on this one I think so so it looks like it's strengthening and it's going to be right over like Ashawa pretty soon and those folks probably want to know about it so I'm going to do that real quick quick quick quick I may just do a little polygon for our friends in the Ashawa area on this [Music] storm something like this and like this while you're doing that Adam I'm going to bring up a comment I see from Melissa in our YouTube uh chat there people are asking if we'll be covering Ernesto as it gets close to New Finland um well we've been you've been covering it yeah but you mean like live yeah I wasn't sure if you were planning on going live that would be kind of a late Monday late Monday um I think we're gonna be live anyways late Monday because I think there's uh isn't there a big time Manitoba thing going on Monday honestly I've been chatter stuff I hear some chatter about on that one what is this video oh the Miss Saga [Music] flooding um that's I would be shocked if that was not the driver what is this is that rain it looks like a rain shaft but it's kind a pretty funnily looking look to it Highway 7 heading to G 5 minutes ago is that the passenger I think that was passenger it looks like rain sure has a funnel look to it though doesn't it pretty sure it's rain but let's go take a look at that storm hold on was it G I think it's a G right yeah yeah yeah yeah okay I'm not seeing anything exciting I think it was just rain that's quite the rain shaft though very skinny not often you get rain shafts of that skinny this Orangeville cell has 4% tornado risk on it interesting oopsie 4% tour let's see if the storm tracks are out to lunch yeah they're a little bit out to lunch there yeah it'd be so nice if I could just tweak those in real time be cool ooh we could train a model to to take take in my tweaks and that'd be interesting training model let's see still got a little bit of a still a little bit of a hook on that one good good oh we just got an update hello little hook little baby hook that is definitely a little baby hook right there isn't that that's not where we just got that report was it there's a little baby hook on the one we just got that report and there's a baby hook here there's baby hooks everywhere and this one is kind of something going this is Jones Baseline Highway 7 heading to gu Atlanta may know that area better so I'm not sure where that is Highway seven going into GF east of the city okay oh the aswa rotation looks like it's weakened and the the little that was on that one weekend as well too so that's good news for the yosua area um still 4% tornado risk on this cell and it's got a tiny baby little hook I think I probably want to do minor rotation I'll do a very small little minor rotation on this one CU it's got a little baby hook on it let's see here probably nothing but uh let's see here I think it's this cell you can't see what I'm looking at but it's just yeah it's just near Orangeville that's right it's just southeast of Orangeville that's the one I think that's the one I think that's the one okay aha okay I got it all right so this way going this way I'll do a very small little minor rotation on this one okay let me just take a peek at that don't want to include Orangeville in it cuz no issue for Orangeville it's mainly kaladan Village area okay and it's going mainly to the Northeast towards like palgrave area okay all right so kaladan Village heading Northeast towards palra okay minor rotation detected on this storm near minor rotation and a hook Echo detected uh near hon Village tracking Northeast towards uh star is one place and star and potentially oh swick star and SL swick swick I'll just say Etc okay and the timing here is 310 exactly cool okay A little polygon on that one just to let folks know that there's a little something going on with that storm little minor rotation [Music] detected okay um oh I didn't plug my iPad in going going die plug it in there much better okay yeah I think that g storm did weaken a bit which is good news lots of FL flooding Miss Saga still seeing more reports coming in of that should be getting a new radar update relatively soon what's going on over here more storms coming in from the West there's some storms in uh Essex County now they don't look very exciting they look quite boring which is good like boring here we prefer boring we don't want folks to be affected by dangerous storms we'd rather things be okay eastern Ontario there a lot of storms popping up to the east but I don't think the environment is that strong out there so there's a lot of storms but nothing's too exciting at the moment little storm near bankra overall uh percentages are pretty low little one Endor it Huntsville Storm's all over the place but overall the risk is pretty low still that hook that I'm bit concerned with on that storm near kaladan Village don't like the look of that the rotation in general is weak though which is not not too bad again this is why it's minor rotation cuz it's got a hook it's got some weak rotation worth giving a heads up but uh often minor rotation turns into nothing and occasionally like the minor rotation we posted about this morning turned into a violent tornado doesn't always happen that way but once in a while it does storm going into quiny West area looks pretty boring lots of boring storms I'm going to leave the Ashawa minor rotation just for one more frame we get another frame update then I'll I'll tear it down we should actually should be soon I see the little pulsing green if you have instant WEA Pro you'll know what I'm talking about I see the little pulsing green thing that says it's going to get a new frame and there we go new frame new frame uh Ashawa looks nice and boring which is good I want to see what our little hook Echo was doing here well that went down the drain which is good as well and what else is happening also storm seem pretty weak pretty pretty relaxed yeah only a 2% Tado risk on this Ashawa storm relatively low yeah I think I'm going to scrap that St storm or sorry that polygon with a minor rotation I'm going to scrap that so um ashwa got minor rotation but now it's weakening so I'm going to kill that which is good um everything else I think I'll leave at this point in time and let's jump in the comments and see what everybody say Midland has a Ribfest on today says Kayla uh with Midway I've delayed going due to forecast as Storm's approaching but every time I check the app the storm has moved back another hour LOL I think I'll just go and have fun and if it hits head home yeah I mean right now I think Midland's fine um the storms are quite a ways away at this point I think we're expecting kind of the Midland area maybe around fiveish maybe six five sixish somewhere in there so I think you're all right um did go has a tornado um no it was uh air so Ayr area Scott says yep just a boring storm and quy West confirmed yeah there might be a little hail on it but other than that it's pretty boring Stacy Says on radar towards Lindsay it almost looks like a little yellow and red question mark a little oh yeah yeah look at the look at the bookan vortex hook on this little I mean it's weak but it's there's definitely it's definitely got a really cool looking book and Vortex hook to it all right we'll continue to watch it's what we do I think this Orangeville one went down the drain too in a good way um the minor the tornado we had in air this morning holy moly oh I see it took out a chunk of the roof there is that from uh that's the Home Hardware and it took out the whole roof on that whatever that those big silos are there uh what happened brenon oh you're zooming in okay whoa this must have been the gentleman who said his backyard was gone oh look at all the trees down holy yeah quite a few houses affected there sh a bunch of shingles torn off there uh trees down everywhere oh boy that doesn't look good those are some huge houses oh my goodness that is ridiculous yeah look at all the trees down wow and chunks of roof rip off it's giving me uh giving me ef1 Vibes but we'll see what ends up happening but that's kind of what I was thinking too yeah yeah I did a little bit of digging of like what kind of wind speeds you would need to get a train to tip over like that and suggestions were about 130 kmers per hour which uh lines up with an ef1 for sure yeah it goes doesn't go all the way up to side does it go once 175 was the ef1 that threw the roof of me that's what they've estimated the wins are at 175 um I think that's about the the almost the highest end I think at like 180 which yeah because 180 goes to ef2 I think or something like that yeah yeah that sounds about right it's roughly around yeah um because the Barry tornado was in ef2 a few years ago and I would say the damage was definitely a lot more severe than what's shown here even though this is rarely severe but it's not like hous is completely Thorn apart I think we have to consider too is those big monster multi-million dollar homes that it hit those are really really well built right like the those roofs didn't come off a bunch of shingles came off looks like some of them recovered in like Cedar shake to and all that kind of stuff like that's that is some those are expensive expensive roofs but um but they uh yeah they're really really wellb built so when you have really really well-built houses that have hurricane straps and all that extra kind of stuff then chances of those roofs coming off you probably need like ef3 for them to come off so are like pretty high end ef2 um so that they'll take that into consideration though they really do they they really taken the engineers at the ntp take into consideration you know how well built the structures are and so they'll they'll take that but those look at all the trees around that are just like thrown all over the place massive trees that are just taken down pretty wild so yeah anyways hopefully everybody stayed safe with those ones hopefully they got to the basement in those particular cases um obviously not great to have their whole backyard and and chunks of their house destroyed so it's pretty brutal hopefully everybody's okay okay um I know I just took a break but I'm going to take a a short little one again and we'll be back in like 15 10 15 minutes I'll be back in no time just watching these storms as they develop nothing looks too super duper strong right now still flooding risk for parts of the GTA as the still seen precipitation within that same polygon that I drew a long time ago um and the stuff in Essex County looks boring a lot of these storms are looking boring which is good I think we might get some increase in activity as um as this storm line starts to move into the Georgian Bay area midlin area we'll see and uh and if we don't then maybe that was maybe this morning was the show we'll see I mean besides the flooding of course and still some more lighting activity and and some damaging wind potential but um we'll see what happens as as these storms move to the Northeast uh and go through the Georgian Bay to Lake Simco Corridor and all that kind of stuff so that's where it could get hybrid between a l spout and a super cell tornado they kind of connect the dots between the two we get some interesting little hybrids here which is very tricky to deal with it's often that they look they don't look that great on radar and the ones that happened in the Niagara region recently those ones were really weird they said he's never seen anything like that before that's just a weird thing just a weird tornado and there was like multiple tornadoes very strange that is strange uh if that's going to become a little water spout maybe all right storms are finally starting to come up towards the Barry area slowly but surely this beaten one is interesting this Tottenham one has an interesting look to it and uh 4% tornado risk really really interesting was that the one from before that was the one from before that we've been watching all the way since down here we did minor rotation on it it extended extended extended extended and moved Northeast and finally it's here now and it's got another little hook on it but there's not much for rotation at the moment not much oh there is Lance booat oh hello now there's I mean it's only a0 five or a one there's a little two area down by uh lemington kind of area sorry not lington but um Lal area and there's a little two up by Brit but there's little pockets of one all over the place and so that's an interesting way to see if it's a to last I think it's there obviously because of what happened earlier when we had a a tornado touchdown in air a yr that is so strange that I was shocked because the rotation this morning the rotation was like in Greenfield it was right here and then but I was just like oh I know air so I'll write air in the in the notification and then the damage was in air oh I guess Green Field is almost part of air Greenfield doesn't really look like it's anything there's like no buildings or anything it's just is it just a road basically just a road so I guess that's still considered air so maybe the damage there's a water spout Mir are you sure did you take a screenshot Miranda thinks she saw a water spout on that camera as well too to be fair there could have been a water spout on that uh on that cell cuz it did definitely have rotation it's getting weaker now but it definitely had rotation a decent amount of rotation for a bit so I'm not saying it's not possible I just didn't see anything on the cameras I saw nothing all I saw was rain shafts I saw something that look remember we when we watched the camera like low hanging kind of rain shaft um what do you think you're doing there tiny little storm doesn't want me to stop the live stream I guess wants me to keep streaming uh cuz there's a this what's this little cell in eastern Ontario I mean it's I want to check to see is there nonp up there no there's zero nonsp zero non supercell there is some supercell it's very weak got to keep an eye on this though 1% eh want to just keep a close eye on this stitsville uh Southwest of Ottawa this little cell here and keep an eye on that for a couple frames there's like barely any environment up there chances of it doing anything is probably pretty slim but I want to keep a little eye on it for a bit still tons of storm I mean still lots of precipitation out there oh the staria storm finally has uh polygon around it and it says 4% severe wind risk I'm yeah I don't know I don't know what that your thunderstorm warning was all about cuz it look pretty weak on radar it's interesting maybe maybe there was like a an observation surface observation that had the strong wind gust or something maybe I don't know a little storm over Peterborough yeah it's basically lightning and heavy rain at the moment there's still right now there's still more storms that are inside remember I drew this polygon like what 2 hours ago or something and I said significant flooding reported and there's significant flooding reported Miss s Saga so I did this polygon cuz knew that a it's the concrete jungle and B these storms just keep moving through the area and now there's still precipitation and more coming into this area there's more precipitation coming into Miss Saga how long has there been precipitation over this area Brandon what's the accumulated precipitation right now it's got to be ridiculous let me double check on that one last time I saw it was over like 5 in but that was like an hour ago it's just non-stop oh yeah I forgot there's a it's at about six inches right now oh my goodness 150 millimeters oh my goodness yeah when you hear something like 6 in of rain you're like that doesn't seem that bad it's just like you just imagine on the road but actually 6 Ines of rain ends up becoming feet of flooding uh in like lowline areas so it's six inches everywhere tempting me to make a joke right now I'm not gonna make Brandon you I think you need to go see somebody you're gonna need to see somebody about it uh yeah you're uh you're out of control okay um you need to talk to somebody I realized that I forgot to take my ADHD medication this morning which kind of makes sense back to the topic of ADHD so uh let's take that oh can you take it this late or do one brenon was talking about where the Dave shared where it had like a little look like a little spout coming out it could have been a little water spout but it looks like that storm continues to get weak yeah it's weakening even more there's like bar there's like basically no rotation on it right now okay I want to keep an eye on this little Ottawa storm it did weaken what is with these storm tracks They have a problem when storms are going north they're like look at they're going due east and the storm's going perfectly North it is stretching to the east though so we got to give him something there but um that storm just weakened even more which is good news so just some rain into the Ottawa area at the moment not much of an environment there okay I think that's enough that's enough of what I've seen besides the significant flooding that's happening uh in the GTA there's not much we can live stream about that other than the fact that you're going to see photos and stuff of cars underwater it's not going to be great but uh not seeing anything really sticking out right now as a as a strong intense storm the star one seems to be the strongest and it's only at like 5% of your wind risk so I think we're going to probably I wonder what we should do here I'm just let me take a quick peek at um we did talk about Saskatchewan we may cover that later I do have to go perform at a wedding oh sketch looks really good but it looks really late like if this is 8 9 10 11 there like a supercell at 11 that kind of goes towards Regina area that's like 11:00 at night I'll probably be back by then so maybe you know what I think we should do let's we're going to kill the stream uh we're not going to go Hy mode we're going to we're going to shut down the stream but if things get if things all of a sudden get really interesting in Ontario uh there's a fairly good chance that we will uh come back if you know if there's a tornado warning or something significant um we may come back to live stream um and we'll see what happens with skatan because if it's going to be that late then maybe I'll just do like a solo Late Night Live stream or something to that extent um because I stay up pretty late so I might do uh you don't want me here late at night basically I just want to make sure that Brennan's not on there uh L if you want to join be be my guest but uh if uh but for Brennan probably best that he doesn't no um I could probably do like a little 2hour three hour uh Saskatchewan thing hanging out by myself it's all good I can do that at night I don't need to tax everybody with that with that uh in bed so I can get up early to do more hurricane coverage first thing tomorrow morning fair enough and we might be streaming tomorrow if Eastern Ontario uh looks as interesting as it did look uh yesterday today um but uh it may the last stuff I just checked though it it looked actually like it more more could be maybe around Georgian Bay again uh if we had any uh any rotation activity um because that's where the low is but um yeah it might be might be to the east it's hard to say but anyways we'll have to double check that but I think for now I think uh that was a try that was a run to stream as fast as we could because of course there was a reported tornado so we notified reported tornado we jumped down here we tried to go as uh we tried to go on live as fast as we possibly could pin says a got a tornado yep that's that's why we went live because of that tornado um and uh we really hope everybody stayed safe we haven't heard of any injuries which is British Columbia right now yeah I mention on forecasting chat tonight through Sund the water SPO potential near Vancouver there there usually is in the in the straight of uh the straight of Georgia there's been many many many many water spouts so yeah there's usually uh remember a picture a few Brenda says yes that's where I live yeah I'm sure Brenda can tell us but there's like water spouts there like every year for sure we've so many years in a row we've had water spots uh kind of in the straight is it always in the straight of Georgia Teresa says everyone stay safe and well sorry I vaguely remember one coming ashore and hitting the airport a couple years ago yeah I was think I was think that's right that was a pretty that was a weird one where was like two years ago Vancouver tornado that was a weird one yeah for sure something just up over Georg and Bay see that um Brenda says no not always straight of Georgia but usually I see okay um what story popped up over Georgian Bay what' you say I think it's Squall warning so that's probably for oh water spell potential there it is oh yeah there you go they're doing a water spout yeah probably because of that cell yeah but I think they're looking pretty boring but yeah that makes sense you have a strong enough water spout it comes on the shore it can affect it can basically kind of sustain itself for just a little bit but then it usually falls apart after that and those classic water spouts not like the not like a literally just a tornado that happens to be on the water that's a different situation but when you have just a straight up kind of like fall weather water spout or a fair weather I like to call them fall weather cuz it's usually when they happen rainfall warning just went out for Central Ontario Oh rainfall warning really H interesting that's interesting I want to take a look at the storm near Ottawa again just quickly take a peek at it yeah it's looking pretty boring okay um still trado watch in place I don't know how long that's going to last I got a feeling they're probably going to drop it pretty soon but uh cuz it kind of feels like things are calming down um you can tell things are calming down when uh IW stormr start start to go all gray when they're all gray things are calming down when they're in the bright colors that's a different story but when they go to gray things are definitely calming down um I don't have my guitar my guitar is like upstairs I don't even think it's tuned I had it last night I was playing a whole bunch of songs last night so instead of uh instead of me singing a song I'll just play I'll just play a song of mine um which is this one Brennan's got it all queued up there we go time is now to go to bed you can do it somehow storm is gone and maybe and that makes perfect sense um looking at that little storm near Ottawa I'll keep an eye on that one but uh overall looks pretty boring overall these storms are looking pretty weak which is good that's what we want we don't want these storms to be strong we want to be pretty weak the Seria one's interesting could get interesting as it moves to the east towards London maybe we'll see what happens but we're going to shut down the stream for now I will be watching radar will'll be watching radar we'll be paying attention closely and if things get interesting again then we may jump on live stream again and if I have enough energy later on this evening I may go live and Saskatchewan if things get pretty interesting out there although because it's so late things might be elevated it's hard to say for sure but nevertheless um oh I just saw latest uh radar estimated rainfall totals yeah up to 160 mm that's a lot oh boy yeah lots of precipitation in msaga and to the Northeast into tobaco that would be if that happened over Pearson Airport that would probably be a one day rainfall record I believe the last one was 110 I want to say was the record oh oh like during the big that big flood of 2013 yeah yeah 2013 but the one I want to say last month I can't remember I think it was last month I think last month it was like 90 million M so 150 would be like almost double getting close to boy yeah that's this is a significant significant flooding risk here it's not great not great okay yep I think we're going to shut her down but uh again if things get interesting there's is still that severe thunderstorm warning for that Snus lell we'll be watching that one closely we'll watching the storms in eastern Ontario um if things do get interesting we will let you
