Floyd Mayweather vs. John Gotti III 2 *Full Fight & Reaction

so today I'm reacting to the rematch between Floyd Mayweather and John gotte thei the first fight took place last year in June but it was actually stopped in round six after a mass brawl broke out between Mayweather's team and Gotti's team so last night they decided to run it back and settle the score and today I'm going to give my reaction on my breakdown of this fight so let's get into it tail of the tape the 47-year-old Floyd Mayweather took the scales yesterday in clothing and weighed 160 lbs John Gotti thei went through with a true way in and weighed in at 181 still got that lightning speed a nice counter punching taking his time working the job no rush looking composed and calm JN G is pressing forward trying to press the action nice body shot from got Floyd's getting a bit more confident now dropping his guard using his head movement to try and bait got him Floyd is the master of deception and his setups are amazing the way he sets things up he makes you think that he's going to throw one shot and then he'll throw something completely different nice combination nice job from Mayweather beautiful JB beautiful striking from Mayweather I love this guy's technique man you can see why he's the greatest of all time he just got such a great well-rounded skill set beautiful technique footwork speed agility he's got everything 47 years of age doesn't look any different to when he was 27 years of age that job from Mayweather lightning quick John gu looks completely out of his allant he's not really doing much in this fight whatsoever I know it's only the first round and are both feeling it's outout beautiful combination from Mayweather I know they're only feeling each other out but what he arguing for what's going [Applause] on not sure what happened there round two go as round two begins so it's a big moment for need some to warm up God he's asking about shots behind the head at the end of the day is a got is pressing forward looking for the opening nice left hook from Gotti but he missed there's clearly a size difference between these two guys and obviously on the um the weigh-in description it said that Mayweather was 160 and I think it said got was like 180 something like that 170 something but you can clearly see the size difference got in Mayweather there at least a 15 a 15 whoa what Mayweather just pushed the referee [Applause] there he's telling the referee to get out what's going on here wow move he's telling the referee to move oh the referees the referee saying he wants out of this fight here I [Applause] think referee how many people say they looks like the what get out he's saying sh up he's telling the referee to show the referee stepping down from his position it looks like the refere just just get out of the way that's a hook F it's a h how can that be head yes get out of the way things already getting testy here looks we're trying to I think the referees I think this is where they switched the referee because of the argument between Mayweather and the referee and the referee looks like he respectably respectably stepped down from his position okay we've got a new referee has stepped in now guy with the blue shirt has taking the other referees position so we've got a new referee now out it's little guy with the bald head and the blue shirt okay so he stepped in the other referee stepped out think it was a by the referee never seen that in a boxing match before ever okay let's go that's crazy only Floyd Mayweather could switch a referee midf fight that's how much power and clouty has in the fight game I've never seen that in a match ever before and you'll never see that ever again anyway let's get back to the fight got he still pressing forward Mayweather throwing a beautiful onew nice body shot from Mayweather got seems quite flustered and confused he doesn't really know what to throw he's missing quite a lot Mayweather's just looks calm and collected working the job got he is pressing forward though but he really just kind of looks like he doesn't know what to throw obviously Mayweather was a very elusive fighter uses a lot of trickery a lot of setups he switches Styles midf fight you can switch from Southpaw to Orthodox Mexican style to a more low guard style he switches Styles quite a lot in fights FL Mayweather and it's very confusing you can't really prepare for somebody like him because he has fought so many different Fighters Master he's mastered so many different styles he can switch and emulate all of those Styles he's like a chameleon he can switch from one style to a different style at any given moment so I think this is what Gotti is kind of having trouble trying to work him out because he's not giving anything away he's switching Styles he's stor nice combinations this is round threea this is what oh nice one two from Mayweather this is whoa oh this is what Mayweather does he waits he waits and then when he sees an open and bump he capitalizes refere got looks very flustered he's just trying to kind of survive in there get what he can Mayweather was just doing what he wants com the next day he ain't even got to hurt him Mayweather measuring poking through with a jab and connecting on a couple of right got still pressing forward though but I'd like to see got just throw a lot more shots maybe make it a little bit dirty some dirty boxing up against the ropes use the clinch no Close Quarters body shots use his weight and his size against Mayweather that's the only way you can beat him if you try and just outbox Mayweather it's not going to happen he's outboxed the greatest boxers in the history of the sport and you've got somebody like got he's not going to outbox Floyd Mayweather he needs to use his body weight in his size make it dirty make it ugly try and get Floyd tired and close that distance try and get off some body shots some combinations that's really all got he can do in this fight trying to stand Toe to Toe with the greatest Striker the greatest boxer of all time it's not going to go well okay so this is round four let's get into it Floyd still looks fresh this is kind of where Mayweather starts to open up in the fourth fifth and sixth rounds this is what likes to do he likes to figure you out for a few rounds then he'll start to open up in the fourth fifth six look for some openings and counter strikes and go for The Knockout that's kind of what Floyd May Mayweather tends to do got he looks determined but really doesn't have anything Mayweather from what I can see he's not really throwing any combinations he's keeps looking at the referee folk knows why he keeps looking at the referee just fight man Mayweather right now looking nice overhand right from got he has got power he's got decent technique he's got patience but he's not really I think he's scared to throw too much in gets in case he gets caught with the counter overhand right or something like that just kind of doesn't really be he doesn't it's only an eight round fight may as well just open up and try and go for The Knockout why is he shaking his head and complaining Man fight keeps looking at the referee J got I have no clue what what this fight is about why he keeps looking at the referee just fight man fighting against the greatest boxer of all time use this opportunity capitalize on it try and [ __ ] finish him couple of rounds May getties in nice combin from Mayweather nice upper cut from Mayweather oh nice one two got he looking flustered not really doing much Mayweather's just doing what he wants beautiful combinations and onews and got needs to open up and do something man I don't really see what he is doing in this fight does he want to fight or what like what's the point think the speak round five Mayweather still looking fresh I got you looking like a gladiator with all silver shs on go press forward man Mayweather looking patient confident got he seems like he wants to do something but he's holding back he's not throwing too much that was a nice overhand right from Gotti he's not really throwing much though that lean back will get you knocked out if you do that he's trying to lean back like a Muay Tha fighter until he gets clipped put to sleep by Mayweather so I wouldn't do that leaning back especially against the guy who has the speed of Mayweather he'll close that distance in a heartbeat and finish him from that position so he needs to be careful about leaning back is still any trying to bait him with a low guard see John got should have done this a lot earlier during the fight clinching and using his body weight and trying to wear Mayweather down there's no point trying to out box for it's never going to happen so this is just a waste of his time trying to you know walk Floyd down and do what he's doing oh that was a nice one two for Mayweather Mayweather is completely dominating this fight really Gotti has absolutely nothing nice head movement from got but too little too late it's round five now more than half the fight's done and he looks gassed out already as Well's trying to stay patient with Floyd is just kind of doing what he wants got is doing what he can which isn't going to be enough to beat Floyd Mayweather's playing the audience as as 47 years ofe noou nice Upp cut from Mayweather why does John Gotti keep looking at the referee complaining it's a fight I don't see what he's complaining about at all I don't understand what why he keeps looking at the referee strange this is round six two rounds left after this so got needs to open up if he wants to make a statement in this fight because as of now he's losing five rounds to nothing he's shown absolutely nothing he's just getting walked down by Floyd outboxed he's trying to outbox the greatest boxer of all time it's not going to happen he used to use his weight his size make it dirty dirty boxing getting the clinch push Floyd around make him work make him tired go for The Knockout that's literally all he can do nice upper cut from Mayweather nice combination from got little bit of clinching and Close Quarters boxing here some nice body shots uppercuts oh that was a nice uppercut from Mayweather Mayweather with a body sh of his own nice job from Gotti this is what Gotti should have done from the beginning Close Quarters boxing in the pocket oh that was a nice combination from maywe found a left hook to the body a moment ago this is what Gotti should have done from the beginning tied up Mayweather used his size his reach Advantage his weight Advantage make it dir as of now he's just giving Floyd Mayweather everything on a plate is a complete mismatch at the moment that's all it is a mismatch nice upper cut from Mayweather Mayweather just sneaking in those body shots on the inside moment here round as Mayweather opportunity to a little bit on the [Music] theow our main John Gotti looks absolutely gassed [Music] out very tired flustered confused doesn't know what to do Floyd smiling just enjoying himself Close Quarters boxing round seven Mayweather's just smiling thinking how can I finish this clown oh more Z job from Mayweather May's fight on the's work a little B again oh these shots are with the signat Le a little bit more zip on oh nice body shot from John got I mean got has a good OPP now in [Applause] clinch [Applause] I nice one two from Mayweather say ever since the change of referees that air of tension that we saw in the first exhibition fight and in the first two rounds of this fight seems to have evaporated I must say both seem to Mayweather still smiling looking for the Finish nice body shots oh that was a nice shot from Mayweather behind the ear there oh again another shot from Mayweather at the overhand right clipped got it behind the ear those shots I want finished fights oh got is leaning low he's going to get knocked out from that position because Floyd can land the overhand right from there right to behind the back of the a oh nice uppercut attempt from got but this gra Mayweather Hisense here yeah but it doesn't seem like's really throwing as much as Floyd just moving around and going through the motions he's also I don't know if he's willing to not really that was round seven we're getting into the final round get past this round eight the final round this has been complete domination from Floyd May where the got literally has nothing he's not really tried in this fight I think he's just so scared to get knocked out he hasn't even really tried to finish this fight to push it to really try and finish Mayweather he not even tried to give Mayweather any real problem problems whatsoever let's do a few jobs couple of combinations but really nothing in this fight whatsoever I think got his plan in this fight is just to survive and not get finished that is literally all that he wants to do so we can say that he went distance with Floyd Mayweather that is all that he really looks like he's trying to do Mayweather was looks like he's going for the Finish you know he's been calculated he's picking his shots wisely he's not throwing anything too crazy but he's throwing nice combinations picking his shots and going for the Finish where he can nice nice body shot from Mayweather back of the head he's saying keeps complaining about that the whole fight what you going do take a point John got has been complaining the entire fight that he's being punched behind the back of the year I think that's what the referee in the first round said which is why he switched go maywe they're using a showbo in a little bit now final round final 20 odd seconds maywe The Smiling no FS given maybe are resisting the resisting the urge to turn this into another go for the finish here but he's lit just body shots and yeah he's not in this fight to win he's just here for a p and trying to survive May with a smiling no FS given o God just kissed him there got kissed him on the cheek Floy was like [Applause] what that was funny okay so that's the end of the fight and Floyd Mayweather he looked pretty good for his age 47 years of AG he did look impressive against gotty obviously because gotty didn't do anything but I still do believe Floyd Mayweather looked fresh he put on a good impressive entertaining performance as always and this fight wasn't actually judged it was just an expit and and this fight wasn't actually judged it was an exhibition match so yeah that's it it was just an exhibition fight but I thought it was entertaining but give me your thoughts in
