Colorado Football reaction. TOO CLOSE for Comfort?!?

Introduction hi welcome back I just want to say listen a win is a win I don't care how you get a win I always say this I don't care what you have to do I don't care how you have to do it just go get a win and Colorado found a way to go get a win Travis Hunter is phenomenal shador Sanders is phenomenal they won the game it was ugly but you know what I said in my video I don't care if it's ugly I don't care just go win the game and they won the game so that's good so what I did is I have some things that I want to say about the game in this victory that I would like to talk about and I just want to say again the goal is one and0 and so they they met the goal they did what they were supposed to do they won the game but yes there are some things that I need to talk about and my hair is so freaking tight but whatever I'm going to try to get through this video with my tight hair one thing I do want to say is this was the first game so I expect the the Game Overview game to be a little jittery that's why when people were saying blowout and different things like that I realized that people didn't know who North Dakota state was they didn't know their history they didn't know that they had the potential of what they were going to do everybody wanted to talk about how small they were everybody wanted to talk about different things and I just want to say this and this might be a petty comment but I'm going to say it just because a guy is small at offensive line doesn't necessarily mean he's bad and I know last year we always wanted to say our guys were small and that's why we weren't good last year North Dakota State came to folson field and showed you how a smaller guy that is not as athletic can play offensive line and be good played a really good North Dakota State football team that North Dakota State team was disciplined and they had a lot of good things going for them and you could argue that if we had 15 more seconds they could have won the game it was too close for comfort but who cares Colorado won the game and so I wanted to make my little reaction video although I don't like to react so I'm trying to like not overreact or underreact I'm just trying to give my thoughts on what What I LOVED I thought about the game so the first thing I will say Travis Hunter shadora Sanders I totally understand why this fan base always wants to only talk about those two I totally understand why everybody I got it they're phenomenal give them their flowers They're everything cool let's go with that I don't even need to get into it because we we saw it we know what we got the other thing I'll give Colorado Credit for is I felt like in the second half they came back refocused and re-energized and I think that was good I liked how they came back in the second half I like how they looked like they were more in tune with what was going on and I felt like the second half of football was better than the first half of football because the fourth first half of football almost felt in my mind a little discombobulated and it didn't look great and I had a lot of concerns I didn't feel like the offensive line was dominating I don't think they dominated at all that defensive line really didn't dominate the linebackers whatever right but they won the game and sometimes you can learn some things in a win that you might not be able to learn in a a loss because so many things went wrong so let's hope that this is the chance where they can take some time and they can learn some things and so I will give credit where credit is due Travis Hunter and shador Sanders are phenomenal football players nobody can ever take that away from them and if you do you're actually a hater period Point Blank they're they're phenomenal it is what it Whatever that was is some of this play calling I don't understand the play calling I don't like the play calling I don't understand it it doesn't make any sense I feel like sometimes these coaches getting their own way North Dakota State's coach did it I felt like in the second half when uh their quarterback cam Miller was playing well he was doing phenomenal job then he rotates the quarterbacks brings in the other guy and the other guy like didn't do as great so I don't know I sometimes I like these coaches forget the flow of the game same with Colorado there were some runs that I'm like why are we running the ball there were some things that were happening in the game with the coaching and the play calling that I'm like why are we doing this so that was my whatever I'll let them have it the second whatever I don't really understand it is why Colorado went for it on their own 35 yard line on Fork down it was like North Dakota state had them so rattled that they were like oh my gosh we need to go for it because we don't know what going to happen one thing I know about football is the way the clock why clock management is so important and why I harp on this is because I think because North Dakota state was um I think what happened was because North Dakota State was what what would you call it what I don't I can't think of a word but because nor North Dakota state had really great time manage clock management clock management the word is clock management because North Dakota state had really good clock management I felt like that made Colorado think oh my gosh what if we don't get this ball back what if we are whatever so they didn't want to punt away their opportunity to get the ball back but I think when you play Scared football I think you make bad decisions and so I don't like the I didn't like the decision to go forward on Fourth down in the second quarter like I didn't like it it didn't help them it didn't help the flow of the game they got yeah I just didn't like it so that's my whatever they can have it they did it whatever it is what it What I Hated is some things that I hated I would just be honest although it didn't stick the penalty the 12 men on the field penalty made me feel a certain way it made me feel triggered because I was like what the actual is going on why is this happening why is this happening what are the actual hell why is this happening but you know what the other penalties piss me off too I don't understand how a team can get a penalty on third down so consistently I don't understand why Colorado is so undisciplined even at the end of the game bat the ball down don't try to go for the interception don't what are we doing all you want to do is win the game the goal is to win the game and so I hated the penalties I hated at the end of the game that we didn't bat the ball down I hate that we only ran for 59 yards I I I don't understand why we don't run the ball it's really concerning to me why we don't run the ball and you're I we going to have people this whole week that are going to say oh they didn't run the ball because they didn't want to show anything they didn't want to show anything they don't want to show anything here's the thing that's not that's not a thing that's not like run the ball I just feel like sometimes Colorado does things that goes against the things they're trying to do and I just wish that they wouldn't do that so I did not like that they only have 59 rushing yards the other thing I'll say and everybody always says Colorado has the best de line in the Big 12 Colorado has the listen stop that you got I'm telling you right now I can promise you I'm not saying Colorado's dline is bad what I'm saying is what when we see a game when you see games that's actually how you should assess the talent that you have the actual games they play what they put out there on the field what you see them doing in the game games you should never ever ever ever base your assessment on a player based off what you're seeing in little clips that is never a good way to do anything in life and so let's stop saying that this defensive line they were blah at best the defensive line was bla at best for a North Dakota State team that was what three red shirt freshman that was playing on that offensive line and that is the production that we got from our defensive line that everybody is saying is going to be the best in the Big 12 I don't know like maybe I'm crazy but I didn't see it I didn't see it I just didn't see it and so let's be careful of how we're crowning things before they happen another thing I didn't like and although I love me some Travis Hunter and obviously he's Travis Hunter he is what he is but why does he have to play so many snaps I thought we were supposed to have depth and I thought all of these things and I thought this and I thought that and yet Travis Hunter is still out there playing all of these snaps it worries me that he's playing all these snaps I don't like that he's playing all these snaps it's concerning for me that he's playing all these snaps and I really hope that we find a way to not do this to not risk his health for the longevity of the season I it concerns me that we had to have Travis Hunter play this game to make sure that we win this game that shouldn't have been what we needed to do but we're here it happened and I just wanted to speak about it the other thing I'm just going to say and I kind of mentioned this already at the beginning of the video is clock man I don't understand any of the play calls that happened in under two minutes I don't understand why we ever threw the ball I don't understand why we didn't run the ball three straight times I have no idea what was going on so I'm not even going to try to defend it I'm not even going to talk about it because I have nothing to talk about I just don't Random in-game Observations understand it the other random thing I just want to comment because I want I think it's cool like some of the weird things that I noticed during the game but did anybody else notice how long the commercials were I felt like the commercials and all the other stuff that were happening around the game it's like I don't feel like it used to be that long it's like every the commercials were like five minutes it was taking so long to get back to game action and in my opinion it kind of messed up the flow of the game so I didn't love that the other thing I didn't love are the officials and you know what I usually don't love the officials I think they do I don't think they do a good job I think they missed some things they shouldn't have missed and it's really concerning that I have to watch football games with terrible refs but at this point it seems like that's just what I have to do but I did not like the officiating at all in this game but whatever the other thing I think is weird is why are we calling it a two-minute timeout at the end of the second quarter and at the end of the fourth quarter why aren't we calling it a two-minute warning like they do in the NFL what is a two-minute timeout like what the hell does that even mean the other thing I thought was funny too very heads up play shador Sanders getting a cramp when North Dakota State's entire offense is on the field Colorado I don't know what they were doing I don't know what was going on but shador realized it and decided oh you know what I have a cramp I have a cramp um so I appreciated that the other thing is too I've NE I don't remember a time where I saw a quarterback get interviewed at halftime usually it's a coach from the winning team that gets interviewed but shador Sanders was interviewed at halftime did anybody else find that weird did anybody else catch that is that normal is that a new thing are we going to start talking to quarterbacks at halftime like I don't know just let me me know if somebody else caught that and what you thought about that because I thought it was actually kind of weird the other thing that bothered me and this is I'm sorry like my I did an ab workout today I'm like my my body is on fire and everything is hurting but I'm trying my best to get through this but um the sorry the other thing I wanted to say is did you all notice how they're showing the field so I one of the things that I like to do when I watch football is to see like who's coming out who's coming in who's rotating who's doing what and how it's going I feel like for this game I couldn't they didn't show the field a lot so it was hard for me to see who was coming in and out and how how people were rotating and coming in and out of the game because it felt like they kept showing like the crowd or stats or this or that or whatever and so it was really weird for me when I was watching because I felt like I the the way they were showing the field was weird so I don't know maybe it's just me somebody comment below and let me know if any of my random things are things that you noticed tons of commercials tons of weird interruptions that impacted the flow of the game should Sanders talking at halftime was weird for me the shador Sanders cramp though was brilliant and I don't know just something about the way they're telecasting this and I'm wondering if it's because of the two-minute timeout like what is a two-minute timeout like what the like where do they even I don't know two-minute timeout it's a two-minute freaking warning I don't understand why they're doing that but whatever so these are my like thoughts after watching Colorado's game I will say as I said at the beginning of this they won the game at the end of the day my biggest point of Celebration is is they won the game now we I could spend 45 minutes talking to you about all the things that I hope they get better at and all the things they need to adjust to before they go on the road and play at Nebraska because that is going to be a big game and after some things I saw tonight I am very concerned about that Nebraska and Colorado game but I will leave that where it's at and I just wanted to make this video and give my initial reaction to the things that I saw because this is how I'm feeling right now and if I sleep on it I don't know if my thoughts are going to get better so I thought the best thing to do was to record this and get all of my thoughts out and to express how I'm feeling but like I said the goal is to win the game they are one and0 and that is all that matters for Outtakes :) now a win is a win a win is a win at the end of the day a win is a win and you know what a win we won the game the game is over we won we are now one and O and that is all I care about for right now but I just needed to make this reaction video that linebacker play I don't what I [Music] um I don't know what to do with it I don't know what to do with that linebacker play I I said in my preview video I'm concerned about running quarterbacks I'm concerned about the linebackers and I'm still concerned about the linebackers I am very concerned about the linebackers I'm very concerned about that defensive line I am very concerned I am very concerned on how this team is going to travel and I don't I don't know I don't I I I I I don't even like our I don't even like our I didn't like our wide receiver rotation either I don't even know I don't I I I just don't know I just think when you play an FCS school I just have certain expectations and maybe I shouldn't have all those expectations but I this might be a long year
