ESPN Fantasy Football | 2024 | Draft Order Seeding (8/22/24)

hello everybody Welcome to the 2024 draft seating show we're going to spin the wheel to determine our draft order and uh it's always fun to do I like doing it so we'll have some fun here tonight and see what we can do but let me quickly share this so other people can watch before I start spinning so uh and the Discord let me put it in the Discord all right I'll probably I'll wait about a minute or so see we can uh give time PE give give people time to um uh let's see copy link see send it to a couple that don't have the Discord crap all right who else I'm trying to think here all right I think I think I stop start spinning the wheel oh Brandon that's who I was knew there was somebody else okay all right I'm nervous I don't want to go 14th like I did last year so we'll see what happens this time I don't know why it won't let me Shuffle it's weird all right we don't need the okay okay [Music] so let's all right first spin who's going to have the first D now we do have it is Keepers so I think how it works is you forfeit your first round pick wherever you are to keep the play I don't even know I've never I tried to do a keeper with Yahoo the first time and and it somehow didn't work so hopefully it works this time with ESPN because we had Yahoo in 21 and 22 and then we switched to ESPN last year and then this is going to be the second year in a row of this so um I I'm I don't know exactly how it works because I haven't had one that worked yet but I we a few of us did pick a player already but I'm guessing it's it forfeits your first round draft pick so it picks that player and you don't get to pick the first I think that's how it works I'm not 100% sure on that I don't know if anybody's played with a keeper before I have not had been able to so I'm not exactly sure so but this is still going to be the order for the rest of the picks however it'll be the snake pick so um anyway let's let's see first pick do my sound effects stay from last night when I set this up yeah they did no that's that's funny okay all right not that I get a pick cuz and I'll be picking like 30 second for the first pick of my draft because I'm keeping somebody so I don't know I think that's how it works so I mean really first pick is nothing I guess I'll be picking 32 well see what happens here um second pick [Music] [Applause] second pick will be Bill second pick in the draft um will'll be what second and like 3 first or something I wish you could just go back through the order and not have that problem cuz I almost would rather not be first because it it hurts I got to wait all the way to like pick 32 to pick my first player so honestly I'd rather not even be in first I'm kind of mad at that now all right we're down to 14 Wesley and Bill are the first two Let's see we have a third pick [Music] all right I like the sound effects I could keep CH I could change them throughout here if I wanted to maybe I'll uh check out what we got here so third pick in the draft um okay yeah we're doing that one this time all right who's gonna who's going to win the Disco spin on the fourth pick kind of funny wait how' my name get back there I I definitely removed my name before I remember Keith with the fourth pick I'll just remove my name with I definitely hit remove didn't I I swear I hit remove with my name I don't know how my name got back there all right remove it manually all right we're down to 11 no what just happened here some um wasn't somebody in between them what just happened here why' one disappear well luckily I'm streaming I can go back and hold on let me uh look at my phone real quick make sure I didn't no there was nobody in between who am I missing then okay I'm going to look at my stream hold on that is weird how my name appeared there I deleted my name and I don't know I don't know what happened uh pausing the action here oh she just Barber oh yeah how how did that happen that is so weird jeez Maria noticed before me okay I didn't delete her I deleted my SEC my name and all of a sudden that was the weirdest thing I don't even know what just happened but anyway we're we're back to normal now is let me look back I hit remove my name I'm watching my stream I hit remove wait what I hit remove but it kept my name I'm so confus all right well well anyway jeez technology anyway all right where are we fifth pick in the draft coming to you [Music] now Mason with the fifth pick in the 2024 draft will it remove the right name it did okay why did it mess up the first one I didn't even realize so if I don't even know what to say I'm literally watching my stream I hit remove my name and it stayed there and it removed a whole different thing I don't know I don't know I don't know anyway sixth pick in the draft who's going to be the sixth pick oh is it going to be Dylan or Gary it's [Applause] Gary that was a close one I didn't know if it was going to end I didn't know where it was going to end up Gary with the sixth pick in the draft right and yes I removed Gary so it's working right now uh so there's your top six Wesley Bill Bud Fox Keith Mason Gary um roll it Barbara with the seventh pick in the draft I had to think for a minute seventh pick in the draft we're almost halfway through our draft order all right I'm G to pick a long spin see what happens does it actually spin that long let me see what's spooky spooky disco I got to listen to it probably for a lot longer so hopefully it's a good one we're GNA we're going to go with it who's going to have the eighth pick in the halfway point of the draft oh crap it does that I should have done this in the beginning to dragged it out a little bit [Music] when is it going to stop is it going to make it to [Music] Andrew oh my God that was on the border all right that was intense that was intense Dylan hangs on by a a thread literally to get the eighth pick in the draft and we are halfway through the draft order here for 20 24 the draft will be coming to you Monday night 7:45 is the plan before we leave for South Carolina so that's the plan is 7:45 Monday night so hopefully everything uh works good and we'll see what happens uh let's see what can we do next catchy beat all right start the second half ninth pick coming up next all right it's pretty patchy f124 is on sale for how [Music] much $ 42 the rate the other one went it might end up on [Music] Brandon yeah there's no way that's going all the way through ran in that slow there's no [Music] way they really drag out the slow part of that long spin that's for sure Brandon with pick you know every so often I don't know it's it's tough um hopefully the keeper thing works and otherwise then again if it does I'm literally got the worst pick then because I won't be picking until 32 so getting the first first pick was not good in my plan with it with having somebody I want to keep so nine picks are in we're going to go with banjo in this one let's see see what we got here let me change this to couple second I'm going to randomize it here all right got to love our sound effects here for today kby Maria let going too fast to land on kobby going too slow to reach T and it should be Maria [Music] Maria it is with the 10th pick in the draft she got the banjo she wins the banjo all right um change some other things here all right who's going to have the 11th pick in the draft we have Andrew Pat Caitlyn Colby Striker and Matt left everybody join the drum circle that's literally what it sounds like right now Colby that's going way too fast for kobby that might even be going too fast for Caitlyn I'm going to say it's going to be Pat it's definitely past Caitlyn looks like Pat is going to get the 11th pick [Music] that was Tada I thought it was going to be somebody saying Tada but it wasn't Pat with the 11th pick in the draft we are down to five who is going to be the 12th pick in the draft Colby was the 12th pick last year I believe or 13 cuz I was 14 he was like one or two ahead of me I know we were both cuz he was in here with me and we were both watching this like come on what it still hasn't picked us yet so we'll see what happens is he going to be 12th pick again although my other Uncle Bud Fox there was dead last last year and he got picked I think third for this year so much better pick for the beginning at least oh uh no I'm going to change it from the drum drum circle uh we're going to go I don't know um heartbeat go a little longer this time let's see what happens Jesus a 48 second heartbeat oh boy I think everybody that's watching this that hasn't been picked yet that's still on this wheel their heart's beating a lot faster right now than this it doesn't look like it's going to end up on kobby again looks like it might be Matt here with the 12th pick there's no way that's going past it there's no way yeah I was going to say boy it makes you sit on the edge of your SE for like 15 seconds of that slow motion like is it going to go past or not 12th pick in the draft is Matt and we're down to four the four final Kobe Striker Andrew and Caitlyn are the Final Four down to the final four who is going to be next we are not doing this heartbeat again that was kind of annoying I'm not going to lie uh we'll go piano relaxed beat [Music] kby still not picking kobby yet he's going to end up with my 14th pick [Music] I think he was the champion last year anyway so technically he would have had last pick I think you know based off of the way the NFL does it so he still got two more chances to get a uh one one or two picks better than the last pick we'll see all right Andrew wins the 13th pick in the draft down to three that reminds me I got popcorn I that might make it around to kobby again oh it's oh it's slowing down I don't know I don't know no I think it's going to be Striker Striker definitely Striker we're going to do the last spin a really really long spin just for the hell of it we're going to have some fun here we're going to make these two wait 14th pick goes to Striker all right we're down to two the final two yep we're doing it it's going to be a we're gonna make let's make this a good one rro crime want to say he won last year yeah cuz I never heard the end of it yeah it was him so he's going to get the last pick [Music] anyway guys it's not even moving is it all right all there we go Caitlyn with the 15th pick in the draft and uh I mean there's no point in making this weight to spin it so I don't know what this is going to be [Music] we're yeah ended with his name directly facing like parallel Colby with the dead last pick in the draft will also have I believe the 17th pick so that's the benefit he has there I think he was going to keep somebody so everybody has been picked and we'll go through the order the final order once again Wesley Bill Bud Fox Keith Mason Gary Barbara Dylan Brandon Maria Pat Matt Andrew Striker Caitlyn and Kobe and that is this year's um draft seating order uh I I actually prefer this rather than that you know the the app setting it for you based off of last year or whatever it does this is kind of fun to I enjoy doing this it's fun it's it's fun to watch and yeah so I still got to figure out how exactly how the keeper works it should it should just surrender your first round pick is my guess everybody's keeper does not like if you lock somebody I think it just stays out of the the draft lineup and it picks them when it gets to your turn so again which if you know if that's the case like it should be I will not be picking until pick 32 so I literally got the first pick and I got the worst pick if you're thinking about it so yeah it's probably the worst pick to have with the keeper because I won't shouldn't be able to pick the first round because I'll uh my pick my keeper plan was AJ Brown so so I think I'm getting the Discord messages probably okay I'm not in there all right I was wondering if everybody that was watching was commenting in the fantasy football thing but they were not I think I got to resend Pat's team to his new email he had to resign up so I gotta make him uh cuz he I think he forgot his other anyway
