The TRUTH about Jannik Sinner’s failed doping tests…

suspended from the pro tour the international tennis Integrity agency who did not initially disclose yanx two positive anti-doping tests consulted with scientific experts and took that matter to an independent tribunal which determined that the prohibited substance entered his system on accident through a massage from his physiotherapist there's been a lot of discussion about this with some fans and even players calling siners successful Appeal on Fair and special treatment I admittedly was very confused when this news first broke but I'll give you the true rundown of the situation and while than 12 hours after winning his third ATP Master's 1000 title in Cincinnati against Francis TFO Yanik CER revealed that he was cleared of wrongdoing after testing positive for a prohibited substance a few months ago CER said in his statement released to social media that in April he was notified that he tested positive for a trace element of a baned substance cholesterol which is a common source of fail drug tests and sports as it mimics testosterone and promotes muscle growth according to the IA and this piece from Stuart Frasier for the times it all started in February when C's Fitness coach Umberto ferera brought a common over-the-counter medical spray trold at an Italian Pharmacy a few weeks later Center's team shared a villa together during the Indian Wells Masters tournament on March which causes small cuts and sores three scientific experts involved with the case determined that this could have resulted in contamination of a small concentration of the van spray from nai's hands after winning his round of 32 Indian Wells match against yanar stru sinner was randomly drug tested he was tested again through another urine sample the following week ahead of the Miami open both of these samples contained a trace of cholesterol Center went on to make the semi-finals of Indian Wells losing to alth before going all the way to in the Miami open Center was stripped of the 320 Grand in price money as well as the 400 ranking points he earned from Indian Wells but he'll get to keep the money and ranking points he acquired from winning Miami as he said at the top of his statement Yanik wasn't notified of the positive test until April he was provisionally suspended on April 4th but that only lasted a day as Center's legal team managed to pinpoint the source of the contamination he was permitted to play the Monte Carlo masters which began 4 days after that suspension making the semi-finals before losing to eventual Champions to final CC pass 4 days after that law CER received another provisional suspension presumably for that second positive test this one lasted from April 17 to the 20th but the independent tribunal also canceled that given that the small trace of the band substance was not enough to actually enhance Center's performance center was permitted to compete on tour afterwards where he since won titles in h and Cincinnati he has withdrawn from a few tournaments like the role Masters and the Olympics due to injury and illness even though could continue competing Center's case wasn't fully closed the Ia did not make its definitive ruling on the matter until Thursday August 15th and determined that a finding of no fault or negligence applied in this case resulting in No period of ineligibility I found it peculiar that this whole thing was kept under WS for day near 4 months but obviously Center did not want it out and I guess if you win an appeal after being provisionally suspended it doesn't have to go public until the Ia or the court of attribution for sports make their final verdict sener said that he'll now put this challenging and deeply unfortunate period behind him and will continue to do everything he can to ensure that he continues to comply with the I's anti-doping program and that he'll have a team around him that are meticulous in their own compliance there Is Jannik Sinner a cheater? are a few topics of discussion that I wanted to get into and questions that definitely need to be answered for one should Yanik be labeled as a Doper or a cheater absolutely not in my opinion the iaia I think it's very thorough when it comes to matters like these and I'm sure that they've done their due diligence in determining whether sinner was guilty or not unfortunately a lot of tennis fans have already began giving Yanik the Doper title and that's mainly rooted in hate low key they already didn't like Center and they were looking for any little thing to come for him and undermine his success and what bigger thing than a whole doping suspension I guarantee if the same thing happened to their fave they'd be saying that he's innocent and the establish was trying to tarnish his legacy yall know exactly who I'm talking about anyways I think this will unfortunately hang over Sinner's head for the remainder of his career to be honest especially in this day and age with misinformation and people running with anything that they see online without doing proper research I also think it's crazy that this news came out just days before the US Open is set to start and yonic Center is just going to be in for a rude awakening and just for hell with how he'll just be questioned and gred constantly constantly constantly but there's really nothing he can do about it now the next issue is Did Sinner get special treatment? (Halep, Sharapova, Kyrgios, etc.) why did yanic get off so easily and not face the same repercussions as Maria Sharapova and Simona halop who faced yearslong suspensions for one it's important to note that Center situation is not the same as Sharapova or halbs primarily because the amount of band substance found with siner was so minuscule that it virtually had no impact on his performance concerning halop she tested positive for roxu in late 2022 the drug can produce the production of red blood cells in the body she claimed that a new collagen she had taken was contaminated with that ban substance however how case got more complicated after it was revealed that her biological passport which test athletes blood profile over several years had yielded suspicious results leading the Ia to suspect that halop was lightly doping which is why they gave her a 4-year suspension halop suspension was reduced to 9 months after the court of attribution for sports ruled that the biological passport dilemma wasn't related to that initial positive test however Cass said that the 9mon suspension was valid because she bore some level of fault or negligence for not exercising sufficient care Maria sharov's 2016 case was much more straightforward she had been using a substance called meldonium for most of her career but she didn't realize that meldonium had been banned before testing positive for hit ahead of that Year's Australian Open Maria was initially suspended for 2 years but Cass reduced it to 15 months determining that she acted with no significant fault CER situation is more comparable to halbs but he didn't get that 9 month suspension because a team member accidentally getting a minuscule amount of spray on you simply does not equate to contamination as in her case people like Nick cio's ignorant self were calling for sinner to be banned for 2 years which is absolutely mad for situation like this he actually accused Center of doping which again I disagree with Nick's probably salty that c beat him that one time in Miami and actually fulfilled his potential because if you actually read the court documents it's pretty clear that he did not dope another player who hasn't quite lived up to his hype Dennis shavala fired off a few tweets insinuating that senon got let off easy because of his status as number one but another Italian player this time Marco balotti who was ranked 87th in the world in doubles also tested positive for a close to bowl late last year and was notified of his positive test in January of this year however he appeared fied one and was allowed to compete about a week later Italy honestly needs to ban close to Bow and find a new alternative because this has caused far too many problems for his athletes now the center matter also has me sparing a thought for former top 50 player mik Emer who was banned for 18 months after missing three out of competition doping tests Emer argued that the third missing doping test was due to miscommunication with his agent after a tournament changed his accommodations Emer initially fought the case and was cleared by an independent tribunal in 2022 but after the ITF appealed his decision Cass practically upheld their decision and imposed a 18-month suspension in July 2023 EMR announced his retirement from the tour soon after but said in April this year that he plans to return my takea away from the matter is that the smoke shouldn't be directed towards Center unfortunately accidents like these do happen and are out of athletes control sometimes I think it's unfortunate that he'll have this hanging over his head for the rest of his career however the Ia and Cass need to do a better job of handling these non-actual doping and contamination cases and consist apply their rulings across the board top WTA player Diana ymco was provisionally suspended for 6 months back in 2021 for testing positive for myone metabolite although they ruled that to be contamination and even worse low ranked Brit taramore tested positive for a ban substance in May of 2022 which was later attributed to eating contaminated meat Moore who does not have the same legal resources as CER was suspended for 19 months which hit her particularly harder as she's more of a journey woman ITF player she had both her livelihood and ranking completely Stripped Away from Her yanic won't have those same problems but he'll share Mo's plight in having his reputation tarnished for the rest of his career let me know in the comments y'all thoughts on this crazy drama and whether you believe that siner did intentionally dope also do you believe that he received special treatment with being allowed to play so soon after being suspended again make sure you subscribe and click the notification Bell so you're notified whenever I post more content and updates on this situation thank you all again so much for watching and for your support and I'll see youall next time here on Christian Court
