Update on Zepbound: Single Dose Vials Available #zepbound #tirzepatide #vials

hello hello hello hello everyone thank you for watching in or tuning in to another one of my videos for those who are coming back uh welcome back thank you for coming back to watch another one of my videos if you're new to my channel welcome um I wanted to hop on really quick this is a really quick video I decided to pop on and do um per the breaking news for the Eli Lily U brand zet bound um there is a uh announcement that has come out that they are going to not going to I'm sorry they have officially released the ZET bound vials so for people who either um won't be able to get the prescription through their their insurance if it's not covered um they can go the the vial route and um have a cheaper price than the pens this is amazing amazing amazing news for people who have been struggling to get approved through their insurance companies to get this medication I am so excited if y'all can't tell fortunately excuse me fortunately um my insurance do does cover it so I've been able to get the pens but I have been communicated with some people who have not been able to get their insurance covered or cover the medication so I feel like this is really really good news for those people who haven't been able to get the coverage now one caveat or one um thing that um pertaining to this I have my phone that's why I'm looking down um is that they do not have all of the doses available as of yet I would say um I'm not sure if they're coming out with more doses I haven't even read this whole article yet I just wanted to hop on and share the good news so this is as of August 27th um which was yesterday so 28th today um Eli Lily um has released zet bound to to zeeti which is the active ingredient in Zet bound that's the medication in Z bound the 2.5 Mig and 5 Mig single dose vials are available for self-pay patients with an on label prescription that is amazing and then let's see the vows are uh significantly less than the pins cost so it is um The Vows it are four week um four we they last for four weeks I think that's what I'm trying to say which is pretty much how the pens are that we get um with that with the medication let's see and they say it's a 50% greater discount amazing um I had the price queued up I've lost it unfortunately let me find it um here it is okay so four week supply of the 2.5 Z Brown single dose vial is $399 so it's uh $99.75 per vial is what they have here um and a four-week supply 5 milligrams is $549 so it's $137.2 per vial um less than half the listed price of the um of the other medicines um on the pens so that is amazing cuz the pens I'm not 100% sure but I know they're um north of $11,000 not by much I think it's like maybe $1,100 or something like that I'm not exactly sure um what the cost is for the pen so that's amazing news for those who may have to go that route to um get their medication or get it that route um and I know maybe some some of you have heard some of the other news about them kind of going after some of the telea health companies who have been providing the compound to zeppe tide for people as well I assume this is why maybe because they're coming out with their own vials um that that will be helpful um uh the price is significantly lower than the pens but depending on where some of those other tele Health companies are providing medications I think their prices may be slightly better depending on where you're getting it from so we'll see how this goes we'll see how it goes with the pricing on their vials and how things go with um the teleah health companies who provide the compound medication of the tepati as well um again I think this is amazing news for people who are um not able to get their insurance companies to approve the medication who don't want to cover weight loss medications which is pretty much what happens um with the companies who refuse to um provide or cover the ZET bound medication or wovi or wovi is really um for um the the type 2 diabetes anyway it's not specifically um weight loss medication so yeah that's amazing news I just wanted to pop on here and kind of share some of the information that I saw today on the news and that I'm reading here um on this article as well so it looks like the vials will kind of come or according to like how this is written out it looks like the vials are probably going to come kind of like the pens um as some of you may know I don't have a box here but they come there's four pens in a box that we get um with the Z bound uh pins and so it looks like with the vial that's how they're going to come they're already going to be measured out um is what it's sounding like cuz it's saying you know it's given the price per um vial so the 5 milligram doses $549 for the uh 4-we dose and so it um breaks it out to $137.2 per vial so it sounds like the vials are already going to be pre-measured as I spoken um in some of my previous videos with the compound medication they come in the vials as well um but you have to measure yourself um based on what the provider who prescribed the medication has told you that you need to measure um the needle too so it sounds like these are already pre-measured which is what they've kind of been coming at the tah Health companies about with you know patients potentially not properly giving themselves the correct dose because they have to measure themselves um yeah that's all I'm going to say on that so um it sounds like something that they they've um thought out well to cover their butts to make sure that although they're providing the vials which is pretty much like the pins um they may already be measured again I'm not 100% sure it doesn't really say specifically in here um that's just my assumption per how they written out the cost of the vials um in the medication so yeah this is amazing if you are a person um I know I was talking to some people regarding this who haven't been able to get their insurance to approve the the medication this may be a wonderful option for you um as far as the um the coupon I haven't read anything regarding the coupon and if that will be helpful for the vials if they will knock off even more of the cost um if I do see something I will probably put it down in in my um in the comments and share that information I don't see anything regarding that here in this article that I'm reading but um if that is the case and you're able to get some knocked off even with the coupon that's even better obviously then that will help with the cost as well um but again this is great news for those of us in the gop1 uh Community um and those of us who are looking to um be on the medication TPP tepati or is that bound um like like myself I've been on the medication for a little a little over 4 months now um on the ZET bound pens but I'm also looking out for you um or for some in my community who are looking for other options who unfortunately have not been able to get approved um per their insurance company for the pens so this is for you if you are one of those people hopefully you can take advantage of this amazing news and be able to take part in this medication which has been amazing for me and has been amazing for other people that I personally and other people who I have been in communication with um online so that is all that I have for this video today I hope this information was helpful for you
