Gogglebox star Stephen Webb reveals reason for husband split as they reunite on Celebs Go Dating

yeah I was a bit of a wreck I'm not going to lie yeah out of practice like you know I've been in a relationship for 12 years well 11 years but hadn't dated for 12 years anyone else apart from my husband so I went in a bit like a bull in the china shop I guess thinking I'm going to be really funny and just have the crack and and um yeah just kind of didn't really I just my skills weren't up to date so yeah Daniel makes an appear he has been really supportive um I did ask him if if at first when I got offered go in the in the agency and I did ask his permission I did ask if if you don't want me to do it I won't do it and he said no I think you should I think it'll be good for you and and it was so yeah I've got his full support which is nice be we announced that we were separating but we knew long before that so we've been kind of living with it for well over a year um so we took our time before we mentioned anything because we wanted to be comfortable with it we wanted to know where we were at with it and when talking to other people about it you know we wanted to be in a in a in a in a place of I don't know sort of how would you say it just yes as long as we knew where we were then we could explain it to other people even though I'm not explaining it very well to you at the moment um you know I I just think we both kind of Switched Off really and um we stopped working at it and and and the longer you leave that sort of thing the more it deteriorates to a point where there's no going back I'm a firm believer in life is all about change and I'm just looking forward to the next chapter of my life Daniel was in my life for 12 uh 11 years as a boyfriend and husband and it was an amazing time and now it's time to start a new life and I'm really looking forward to it
