play here how about that so we've got uh 7 months of work under our belt um new staff a lot of new players uh a lot of new moving Parts um very grateful as I've said many times for the support of our Administration helping us through uh a learning curve here at UB and and trying to navigate some things you know no no two institutions are alike no two athletic departments are alike no two programs are alike and um the quicker you can figure out how to make some of the changes that you want and and work towards getting everybody on the same page um the better off you're going to be and and the more quickly you're going to start off uh even in this new day and age of college football so for me Thursday night will be sort of a litmus test of of the where the the rubber hitting the road so to speak of of how aligned are we from a culture standpoint um how on the same page are we from a fundamentals and schematic standpoint and can we go out there and and play really clean football and in my experience both as a head coach and as an assistant coach it's more about those things than it is about who you're playing
