the off-season it's May you know June is not here yet July August uh and then the you know when the preseason is all about and then we're going to get into the season football ladies and gentlemen it's almost here by a blink of an eye we'll be watching our first game in Pittsburgh against the Steelers what's up Daniel welcome welcome we got my boy Josue Hernandez welcome brother welcome welcome appreciate you guys popping in saying hello um so I'm excited about the 49ers I don't know about you guys I'm excited about the rookies I'm excited about the undrafted free agents the month of May is the month of who is going to make a mark on the 49er roster who's going to convince coach Shanahan and Coach Wilkes they belong part of the 53-man roster who's gonna Step Up who's gonna wow the coaches and OTAs and midi count which of the free undrafted free agents is going to make a name for themselves if you remember last last off-season we had a third round draft pick by the name of Trey sermon drafted in the third round wow he was beaten by an undrafted free agent in the name of Jordan Mason Jordan Mason outbeat a third round running back so is T is TDP on the bubble is TDP going to be that Trey sermon that is going to get beat out by another undrafted free agent running back or is TD is TDP going to step up and be that player that the Niners drafted him to be those are the things that we're going to talk about those are the things that we're going to anticipate I don't know about you but if you're a 49er fan like me I'm excited I'm excited about the future I'm excited about the present I'm excited about this regime I'm excited that the Niners have a vision in mind they have a plan and they're executing it the Niners have been known of drafting developing players we are not the Rams ladies and gentlemen we are not pathetic like the rounds we don't just go out get big names we draft players and we develop them and we always make sure that if anything happens to one of our starters we have somebody they can step in and take care of business or if we lose a starter because of you know he wants too much money you know we always have a player a backup contingency for our starters last year Tomlinson too much money too much money to keep Tomlinson on the books so they let him go he went to the judge got paid good for him and we had Aaron Banks our Center retired we had we brought in Jake brundle a lot of people were not too happy with drunk uh Jake brendo he did never started he's been in the league for a few years people had their questions about him is he going to be okay is he going to be is he going to suck what's going to happen with Jake brundle and what happened he played some really good football he had his moments but overall he played good football and he was um what is a second alternative for the Pro Bowl he was a backup to the pro bowler not bad for his first year so now we moved on from Mike mcclinchey at right tackle he wanted too much money right so we moved on from him he went to the Denver Broncos got his bag good for Mike mcclinchey go get your money buddy and we have mckibbett now a lot of people are not excited about mckibbett's either oh my God is this guy going to be able to handle his business these are the same people that said the same thing about Jay brundle and Jake brundle was able to handle his business because of the Jake brundle situation I'm going to lean on trusting Kyle Shanahan our offensive coach and John Lynch and I want to see firsthand how is mckibbett gonna handle that right tackle position is he going to carry and do his job right or is he gonna suck we're gonna we're definitely gonna see that this year uh we got some new people coming in here we got Luis Moreno [Music] and we got Tommy ugly yo Tommy huxley's in the house what's up my brother with another mother let's go let's go Tommy how you doing sir welcome welcome he says brendo for MVP this dude so I'm fired up man listen our offensive line is better than what people think it is they were great last year they're gonna get better there's going to be some adjustments with mckibbetts mckibbetts is going into his 30-year they have a lot of faith in him so much that they did not bring a tackle and free agency they really didn't pursue for a tackle in the draft mckibbetts has shown the Niners that they can trust them now needs to show the 49er fan base that he is the right man for the job how is mckibbett gonna do so excited for the season yes Jess I'm excited for this season I'm fired up I can't wait I don't know about you guys but man these rookie uh the rookies came in a few days ago they reported to camp it was fun to see them out there um they didn't have no they just have the helmet on they didn't have the you know the you know we're not going to see real practice until June but I am still fired up how is brown gonna do jazeer Brown from Penn State we moved up to draft a safety Tashan Gibson is back for his second year they signed him to a one-year contract he was he was a badass last year he did not disappoint as a free agent last year so much so that when Jimmy Ward was able to come back he lost his spot to Gibson that means that Gibson played better at safety than Ward so Ward was moved to slot corner now Ward wanted his bag so what did the Niners do they went and got Isaiah Oliver from the Atlanta Falcons Steve Wilkes called them the best the best slot Corner in the free agency market this year now is that just Steve Wilkes just trying to build confidence in this young man or is Wilkes speaking the truth we're gonna find out ladies and gentlemen we're gonna find out during the season was Wilkes talking truth about Isaiah Oliver or was he just trying to instill confidence by those remarks interesting to see Beto did you do a record prediction for the season I did already I I haven't done it on my show by myself we started a new show uh Tommy you may be aware of it but if not I'm letting you guys know it's on Fridays at 5 PM Pacific Standard Time eight o'clock Easter time it's going to be with me and Jess Jess from East Coast red and gold podcast she's my co-host me and her will be coming on every Friday God willing and we're gonna be doing a show we did a record prediction with with her but I haven't did one yet on my own and I'm gonna do not today take care of the front line now we gotta kinda got a night figure out okay who are we gonna do a quarterback and we're going to talk about that in depth in a few minutes but my first question of the night is which running back will step up and back up Christian McCaffrey who's going to be RnB 2. we know who rb1 is CNC but who's in a step up and be r b two now we have Mitchell is Mitchell going to be the guy uh I don't know he's great I love what he does in the field but unfortunately for Mitchell he's always hurt he's always hurt um and that's not that's no bueno no bueno if you're going to be hurt let's see here give me a second all right so we got all right so the running backs that we have here we have Christian McCaffrey Elijah Mitchell Jordan Mason Tyron Davis price Ronald Watt and the new undrafted free agent that everybody's raving about is Kailyn La borne I don't know if I said that first name correct if I didn't forgive me but Canada born is a running back that everybody has been raving about in the rookie camp now you're not you're you don't you don't you do not impress me until you put the pads on I want to see the pads if the pads are on then you can impress me but people have been raving about this kid [Music] Maverick uh I salute Maverick this is your captain speaking hold on attention this is your captain speaking Maverick in the house baby let's go There You third grade unbelievable they grow so fast don't they they grow so fast it was probably like yesterday when you were holding in your arms and now one is graduating uh from the sixth grade going into Middle School or going into the seventh grade um and one is graduating the third grade wow congratulations to both of them Stevo Supremo what's up brother welcome to the channel welcome to the channel so Canada born has been undrafted free agent that the Niners picked up I heard Grand cone I've heard uh David Lombardi I heard a few people speak about this kid and they're really excited about this kid now can this kid Candace Kidd outright beat out TDP is Tyron Davis price is his number up now he didn't do much last year this is the second year uh for him now the plan is I'm assuming for the 49ers is that they can stash Carolyn laborne and the practice cut them bring him back to the practice squad and stash him there the problem is the reason why they didn't do that last year with Jordan Mason is because Jordan Mason played so well they were afraid that a team will claim them off of waivers so they decided to cut Trey sermon and keep Jordan Mason is this kid La borne is he going to impress so much in OTAs and minicap that the Niners are going to be afraid that somebody might pick him up if they cut them and when they sign them to the roster those are the things that we're going to be excited to talk about excited to watch um I'm fired up to see how these kids do um I can't wait for mini camp I can't wait for training camp I know a lot of people are not fans of uh preseason they don't care about preseason because it's not real football well preseason may not be real football because it doesn't count but if you're like me who loves and dies and lives 49ers red and gold you want to see how Sam Donald's gonna look under Kyle Shanahan you want to see um Danny gray uh play more football in preseason you want to see the rookies that we picked up this year and see how they transition from college to the NFL you want to see um Brandon Allen take a couple of snaps you want to know if Brock Purdy is going to be able to play house trade lance look those are the things that you want to see and then um on on the receiving core you want to see how Chris Cooney looks Ronnie Bell Newson [Music] Isaiah Winstead the guy that the kid that they picked up undrafted aren't you excited to see what these kids are gonna look like and how much they're going to be able to help shape and form this wonderful roster that's already loaded at every area I'm fired up and then Hey listen pre-season right if we're talking a little bit about the tight ends cram it uh Cameron too how is he gonna be the kid from Alabama they see he's an exceptional blocker they say this kid can block he's a big body he's huge he's bigger than kiddo believe it or not how's he going to work out for us and then the kid that that people have been brave raving about seventh round pick Brandon Willis how's he gonna do how's he gonna do this guy's a big guy as well I am fired up for this guy I listen if La too and Willis can play good sound football I am ready to walk away from Charlie Warner and Ross Diwali I don't know about you but I'm ready to walk away from Charlie Warner and Ross Diwali bring on the two young kids this is the things that we're gonna see during ota's mini camp and pre-season I'm fired up man let's go Niners that's what I'm talking about baby that is the correct answer that is the correct answer and that's just often so who's gonna back up Christian McCaffrey we know that when Elijah Mitchell is playing good football we know when Elijah Mitchell is playing good football the kid is Unstoppable right make sure to wipe your feet and smash that like button for your boy nine or sickness I appreciate it you know that if Elijah Mitchell is healthy the the kid is a badass the kid is good the concern with Elijah Mitchell is his ability to stay healthy that's that's very concerning the kid can't stay healthy and we need someone that we can depend on if he can stay healthy I'll be like [Music] I'll be so fired up if Elijah Mitchell can stay healthy him and Christian McCaffrey will be an amazing one-two punch but let's assume that Elijah Mitchell is that injury-prone type of running back and you got Jordan Mason you got TDP you got Ronald Watt and then now you have Kailyn Allah born there which of these cats gonna Step Up and be that qb2 in case Elijah Mitchell is not available now we didn't get to see Harley TDP we saw a little bit of Jordan Mason I like Jordan Mason I love that how he runs in between the tackles he's a downhill Runner I like him I am interesting to see who wins the battle between him and TDP and now you you bring in this kid Kailyn La borne into the mix 511 himself who's gonna Step Up MB qb2 or at the very least qb3 if Elijah Mitchell can remain healthy during the season my best kiss scenario would be Elijah Mitchell staying healthy if Elijah Mitchell can stay healthy I'm telling you this offense is based upon the run the more successful you are running the football the better the play action and the better the Niners are going to get to move the ball through the air this offense is based off the run you gotta be dominant in the Run we need to give Christian McCaffrey a breather here and there who's going to step up and carry the rock is it going to be Elijah Mitchell I hope so is it going to be Jordan Mason is it going to be Tyron Davis price is it going to be Keenan labourne who's gonna be on coming season bold prediction Mitchell will be very unhappy splitting carries wants to be a full Mitchell can't even stay healthy I don't know I don't know where you get in the concept of Elijah Mitchell wanting to be a a number one back I mean if Elijah Mitchell will not get injured if Elijah Mitchell will remain healthy through the whole season I can see your point being very valid Maverick your point would be you know why he doesn't want to be a backup he wants to be a number one that's an issue now that we got that now that we traded for McCaffrey but the fact that Elijah Mitchell can't stay healthy what leg no punt no pun intended can he stand on what lake can he stand on to demand a trade because he wants to be the number one running back stay healthy stay healthy for a season and then come and talk to me about wanting to be the number one running back if Mitchell wasn't listen if Mitchell could stay healthy in the first place CMC wouldn't be here the reason why they brought in CMC is because Mitchell can't stay healthy so um incorrect answer is that an incorrect answer buddy I'm sorry thank you for sharing though what's up Niner fan26 how are you doing sir welcome welcome this is Niners go to the Super Bowl this upcoming season I love it I love it listen the NFC is wide open the NFC is wide open excuse me it's up for grabs why not us why not us right that's what I'm saying all right let's move on to our next topic which of the rookies who were drafted or the undrafted free agents are you most excited to see who are you excited to see on offense or defense give me a second um let me know in the comments who is which of the rookies are you more excited to see is it jair brown Penn estate he was taken round three with pick 87 then I moved up to get him are you excited to see him I'm here just watching my baseball game um let's go Giants uh Niners fan26 new quarterback tight end and kicker oh interesting interesting tight end and kicker [Music] is it tight end that's a sticker oh that's exciting then you got uh Jake the kicking machine Moody third round pick 99. pick overall from Michigan Wolverine one of the two Wolverines the Niners took in the in this year's draft will Jake Moody be kicking for a Super Bowl or will he be kicking his way out of San Francisco if he doesn't do good for us go Giants Niner signals do you like baseball I love baseball I've been I've been a Giants fan and an ace fan I rooted for days more since since uh koseko uh but the A's have been disappointing not only are they moving from Oakland to Las Vegas the ownership doesn't do anything to really support the team they're they're on farming uh team they develop players and then they ship them off to other teams um so I'm gonna start leaning more towards my Giants and start uh supporting the Giants at least the Giants want to win they want to win the A's owner I don't know Matt I'm not talking about the ace players I'm talking about the owner and the ownership they develop players and they ship them off to other teams and I had enough of the freaking A's now I always supported days and the Giants so those the one that call me a bag Wagner that's up to you uh but my wife's a big Giants fan I always supported the giant local Bay Area team it's not like I'm it's not like I'm letting go of the A's and becoming a Yankees fan or a Dodgers fan hell no so it is what it is and then we got Cameron latu tight end from Alabama uh third round with 101 pick he was our third pick and final pick in the third round how's this kid going to do how impressive is he gonna be is he gonna be impressive is he going to Wawa us or is he going to turn into another freaking Ross Diwali I hope not and then we have this kid I'm very very interesting to keep an eye on this is the kid that I want to keep an eye on you got Darnell Luther Luther Jr cornerback from South Alabama what is this kid going to do I like to put ooh I put a lot I like to put lemon in my water so I have to shake the water otherwise the limit sits and then I start making these funny faces because of the lemon but this kid in the fifth round pick 155. he's going to be in competition with Isaiah Oliver and Thomas for that um corner [Music] um slot pointer position I like this kid you notice the Niners win off when listen now that we have Steve Wilkes he's a secondary girl okay uh before I move on to the rest of the players um people have been telling me that they're not fired up about Steve Wilkes uh coaching from the booth they're like why is he coaching from the booth Robert Shala coach from the sideline D'Amico Ryan's coach from the sideline they were animated they were fired up and they were supporting the players by the way they just was just all fired up and that's true Robert Sala and domika Ryan's great defensive quarter now head coaches but Steve Wilkes is a corner or a secondary Guru he likes sitting in the Box why because he can see the whole field he wants to see what is his secondary is doing right and what is second doing wrong and make the proper adjustments it's hard to see that from the sideline he wants an eye view a bird view if you say and this is why Steve Wilkes is going to be in the booth these are grown men they don't need a lot of Rara and Kris kiss Eric already is a man of rah-rah so I don't I'm okay with Steve Wilkes being in the booth I think he's going to have a bird's view of the whole field he's going to make his adjustments of what the second dude is doing well what they're not doing well so I'm fired up I heard that one of the players came from the Panthers and joining yes he's another Corner uh coming uh I can't think of his name I'll look it up for you but yes he came from the Panthers uh somebody that uh Steve Wilkes knows very well and he's coming here to help out the Niners we're going to watch the Dodgers get smashed by the Giants at the end of September every time we go to Disneyland Jayla flips off the lamb stadium and Smurfs the Dodgers okay well I don't know about this um That's funny though that is funny forget the Dodge us and forget the lamb the only team I like in LA is the Lakers don't like them right now though playing like crap I don't even know what the score is but I know they were killed they were getting killed out there they're probably still out of getting killed this these nuggets are for real wow 118 to 104 7 minutes ago these nuggets are for real I'm recording the game so then we got this kid I am very intrigued about this kid I think he's under the radar I think because of the college that he came from because they're so heavily on D tackles and defensive ends there in Georgia that even if you're good you're always going to get stashed and pushed back but this kid Robert Beale Jr it's going to be special this guy has a a wingspan they can go from one side of the Earth to the other I am fired up to see what this kid can do in a 49er uniform now I'm a big believer that Drake Jackson is gonna Step Up I believe that his second year he's going to come in here and he's going to kill it but it never hurts to have some guys coming into rotations and continue to put the pressure when it's third and long when it's third and eight bring in Robert Bill let him pin his years back and let him just hunt for the quarterback he's going to be an amazing player to watch all right keep your comments to yourself boo you're fired you're fired making that comment no it's all good though it's all good hell yeah it's all good it's all good that is your perspective don't agree with you and then moving on this kid is something someone that I'm also excited to watch and see how he develops here in San Francisco the 49ers arguably have the best linebacker set in the NFL you cannot name me a better pair of linebackers in the NFL right now better than friend Warner and Drake Greenlaw the reason Fred Warner and Drake Greenlaw these guys are they set the tone the tone for linebackers and they added two more linebackers they lost Aziz in free agency they already have some guys uh ball and and uh uh folds I think uh I can't think of their names right now but they added deep Winters D Winters from TCU 511 same height as Drake green law same build he's also a sideline to silent type of linebacker he shoots through the gaps very well a lot of times people think that that they're always blitzing with D Winters but that's not the case they're not blitzing with d Winters he is just so good in going through the gaps that it looks like he's getting that they're blitzing him I'm excited to see this cat and what he does and we got him in the sixth round we got him in the sixth round at 216 pick if he works out great if he doesn't then we move on but I think this kid's going to be special I wouldn't be surprised if he wins that third linebacker now we all know that we play a lot of nickel so you're looking at about 30 percent uh going with three linebackers but mostly we go nickel set this is why Isaiah Oliver is more vital uh in the diff defense than any third linebacker would be but I like this kid then you got Jordan Willis if I'm saying this right his name right Braden Willis Braden from Oklahoma this geek catch this kid can run and he can block he can do it all why he went to this all the way to the seventh round it's beyond me but I'm glad he made it to us and I'm glad that the Niners pulled the trigger on him and took him I think he's going to be great and I'm looking forward to see what he does in this on this team excuse me then you got Ronnie Bell now Ronnie Bell is going to be interesting because we have so many receivers on our roster it's going to be hard for Ronnie Bell to really crack and get into the starting lineup is this guy's a seven round pick he was taken with the 253 overall pick from Michigan another Wolverine he is facing a battle now a lot of kids they get inspired a lot of kids get inspired the harder it is the better they perform and they want to show the whole world there they are here to stay in the NFL so if that's the case I'm interested to see what impression Ronnie Bell does to the San Francisco organization does he impress him enough to cut him and hide them in the practice squad or do they just let them walk I am curious to see then you got our last linebacker and last pick of the draft you got Jalen Graham linebacker from Purdue now this kid is shaped just like Fred Warner this kid is just like Fred Warner okay built built like Fred Warner his style of play we have to see that happen in the NFL but he's built like um Fred Warner that's exciting I'm very intrigued with d Winters and Jalen Graham I'm really intrigued to see how these two cats do for this organization how are they going to do for this organization is something that I'm curious go Nick posa Nick posa and George kiddo I know you meant to say Nick Bosa instead of Nick posa um if La tu and Willis can be those tight ends that we think they can be having a three set tight ends with George Kittle Cameron La two and Braden Willis oh m g my goodness coming to our YouTube channel near you [Music] [Applause] coming to a YouTube channel near you that's going to be kiddo latu and Willis I cannot wait to see how these cats do on here I'm fired up man I am fired up for sure all right I'm not going to State too much on this topic but let's talk a little bit about treyland's Brock Purdy and Sam Donald who will be qb1 qb2 and qb3 now the set is set up for trade Lance to succeed okay a lot of people have been saying that Brock pretty has been uh healing properly his recovery has been very well I still don't think that he'll be ready by week one even if he is I really think that the Niners wanna see again what they have in treylands they want to see what they have in trade legs and I think they're going to give Trey Lancers opportunity can Trey Lance win the qb1 job and keep it and I'm excited about Trey Lads I I do support Brock Purdy for those who watch my videos I'm not back and forth I love Brock Purdy I think Brock Purdy can be very very successful in this system with the San Francisco 49ers I am not denying that but I always love tray Lads I love them in college the one year that he played out of the prosperous they came out that year other than travel Lawrence which was my quarterback in Clemson Trail Lance was the second quarterback that I like coming out of that draft and I wanted the Niners to draft him those that are close to me would would tell you I wanted him to be drafted to the San Francisco 49ers and when he was I was completely ecstatic but unfortunately the Niners decided to sit in year one behind Jimmy G and then year two when he finally got the opportunity bad luck struck strike and he was taking off for the season in game two of the 2022 season and was not able to truly shoot a showcase his ability now the reason why a lot of people are fired up about Brock Purdy myself and my present included is because we see I understand that Trey Lance has a bigger ceiling bigger arm I know treylands is a bigger arm bigger ceiling than Brock I understand that and that is true but I've seen what Brock Purdy can do I see him handle things under pressure I seen Brock Purdy adjust to what defensive coordinators are doing I've seen brought pretty extend plays with this arm and legs I seen brought pretty wind games I seen Brock pretty when two playoff games Brock Purdy has showcased what he's capable of doing whether or not treylands has a higher ceiling we haven't seen truly what treylands can do and this is why there's such a big division amongst the Niner faithful Brock Purdy or treylands and this and it's sadly to say that if you if you support one they automatically think you hate the other I never understood that concept if I like Brock pretty it doesn't mean I hate Trey Lance and I'm a hypocrite because I wanted him on the team and I'm I'm a sellout because now I I support Brock I support Brock because I seen what this kid can do but I also want to see what Trey is capable of doing I believe you can love one player and support the other at the end of the day ladies and gentlemen those that know me right here this is the San Francisco logo okay the San Francisco logo I support the local first and foremost and whatever quarterback gets me another trophy is the quarterback that I will support I may love Trey Lance but also Port Brock and I'll even support Sam Donald but I love Trey but at the end of the day I'm a Niner fan I support my San Francisco 49ers and I want that sixth Lombardi Heck if the water boy can come out and Jog onto the field and win me a Super Bowl I will support the damn water boy let's go I love treylands I want to see treylands to be successful I want him I want to win with Trey I want Trey to be the quarterback this year and years to come I want Trey to win whenever they're double teaming the other two guys and they they only put one-on-one on Eric armson he will make them pay so I expect Eric armstein ability to go after the quarterback to step up now that we have Hargrave added to Bosa and then imagine imagine with me if you will Drake Jackson comes this freaking Beast opposite of Bosa o m g you're gonna have Dre Jackson Eric Armstead Jayvon heartgrave and Nick Bosa and then you have arguably the best two linebackers right behind them and Fred Warner and Greenlaw and then you have a secondary Guru and Steve Wilkes that is going to make that is going to come in and relieve Hargrave Hargrave is the main guy but if you're going to take out heart rate why not bring in a healthy rested King law for a player to now that we don't have to depend on Clinton law now that Kim Law is not going to be on there every consecutive play and he's going to come in as a rotational d-lineman we may get good from your law and I hope we do I hope we get good play from Kim Law imagine if we had to take out hard grave because he's getting some air and you bring in kinlaw and we're able to stuff the run or go after the quarterback and put pressure in that pocket that's probably his best role yeah I agree teradum b-a rotational delignment because of his knees now if he didn't have no issues with his knees and he was healthy I can see him being a
