ESPN Adam schfer White who visited with the bills at their facility on Tuesday Tuesday well we on what today is Wednesday Tuesday oh today so he signed the same day that he pulled up signed the same day man but at the same time the Buffalo Bills offensive coordinator let me see I forgot who he is Buffalo Bills offensive coordinator Joel Brady he has a connection with Mike White from Broward Joe Brady he's from Broward as well I think he coached Mike White before so that's why I think the Buffalo Bills brought in Mike White there's some famili familiarity there um and then on top of that you got Josh Allen you could probably learn something from Josh Allen probably most likely man but hey Buffalo bus it's okay it's cool we still going to beat y'all twice this year we still going to beat y'all man you know but Mike why he on a practice squad right now so I'm not really too worried about what he got going on over there I don't know who gonna be the backup I think trabis he's still over there so he just like them other boys they all look the same in that quarterback room I look the same uh let me finish reading this right here on Tuesday before signing as a free agent he just Jo he's joining his third AFC team AFC East team in three seasons he was most recently with the Miami Dolphins but lost out in the competition with schyler Thompson for the backup job behind Tua and was cut on August 25th a few days ago as the Dolphins backup quarterback last season the 20 the 29y old Mike White played in six games completing five of six passes for 74 yards one touchdown and one interception you know no matter what you gonna see an interception by Mike White name no matter what um for the bills he'll slot in as the team's third quarterback as the roster currently stands a series of injuries led to the team to bring in Ben denucci and Anthony Brown oh they got Anthony Brown too from Oregon they got him too uh for the preseason but both were cut this week backup quarterback Mitchell trabis who is dealing with a left knee injury okay so that kind of makes sense so Mike White he's pretty much the backup right right now until Mitchell trabis comes back um joins Josh Allen as the only quarterbacks on the active roster so they needed to sign somebody so it kind of makes sense as to why they went after Mike White but come on out of all quarterbacks out of all quarterbacks they could probably learn something from Mike White based off of what he knows about our offense you know but we gonna see what's gonna happen we gonna see we gonna see how the Buffalo Bills play us and we gonna know if he actually them anything or not that's how we going to know um they got quarterback Shane buelli I remember him from Texas who spent last year on the bills practice squad is on injured reserve after suffering a neck injury damn damn F you still playing after a neck injury I'm not playing no more the team traditionally has two quarterbacks on the active roster and one on the practice squad why uh 2018 fifth round pick by the Dallas Cowboys started seven games and played in eight total in two in two years eight games in two years man uh with the New York Jets for from 2021 to 2022 including two starts against the bills um he completed 62.2% of his passes with the Jets throwing for 2,145 yards with eight touchdowns and 12 interceptions so his career totals they don't look too good they don't look too good so I I have a good feeling like a lot of Miami Dolphin fans we chilling off of this we're not really too worried about Mike White not being on the team or not we okay we'll live we we'll survive we'll be okay that's my feeling about it but hey Mike White all right bet when we go up against you hopefully you go in we gonna have Josh Allen but hey division you got the bills you got the Dolphins and as long as Aaron Rogers plays more than four snaps which isn't a guarantee but as long as he does the Jets are going to be good too so there's a lot of teams you could put in the AFC East as the fourth team and they could otherwise be contenders elsewhere and they aren't contending for anything in that division yeah I know like if Drake May ends up being something bro you know the Patriots probably a playoff team in another division in my opinion but in our division they ain't no playoff team they not last March when they let Jobe go I was I that's the thing that most people would point to and say oh how are they going to succeed Gabe Davis left Stefan Diggs got traded well ston digs wasn't doing much anything once Joe Brady became the offensive coordinator so it's not a huge loss to move on from a guy who was wide open underneath on that third down when Josh Allen muscled it into the end zone and got hit as he was letting it go right before the field goal they missed that basically ended their chance of beating the Chiefs and advancing to the AFC Championship Diggs was wide open and he didn't throw it to him losing digs is not something that the bills will Ru this is something they'll move on from and I like the idea of not having a true number one we've talked about this recently in the context of the Packers we've said it before in the context of the bills I go back to when Matthew Stafford had his first year post Calvin Johnson it puts the quarterback fully in charge of the offense and he can throw to the open man he's not staring down the guy that he feels like he needs to throw the ball to 80% of the time I'm going to throw to who's open I'm going to make my reads I'm not going to just wait and wait and wait or throw into double coverage because I don't want to hear it in the Huddle or on the sideline about how my top receiver isn't getting the ball as much as he wants it I think that's to the benefit of Josh Allen and the bills with a low bar with low expectations that passing game can be better than anyone imagined the only time that comes up that I think it hurts you is the third Downs the key moments in the game where you have to get a play and it's we saw with Kurt Cousins you play in Buffalo it's Fourth and 18 you need a play yeah Justin Jefferson's double team and I get it that catch is ridiculous but there's a feeling about you when you know you have a guy that you can go to when the game matters the most I think that's the thing but I think when you do have those star studed receivers those number ones I think you need a strong personality at offensive coordinator who knows how to draw plays to get to that guy and also as very willing to tell that guy hey we need to win football games you're going to get yours we're going to have 15 20 plays designed for you every week but within the game when we start playing like this guy has to throw the ball to the open guy yeah and I think that's the key uh and maybe one of these guys is going to develop into a reliable Target maybe rookie Keon Coleman can can get it done if if his play matches his person I mean just because the Packers did it with Jordan love last year with all they receivers is I don't know if it's going to work off rip for Josh Allen in my opinion I don't think it's going to work bro especially against us with the defense that we gonna run I don't know I think we G there's a good chance that we could sweep the bills you know I think we split with the Jets and I think we sweep um the Patriots good chance we sweep them personality maybe he'll win offensive Rookie of the Year all right offensive King the offensive MVP from the AFC East who do you have I talk about this Sunday he's the guy I picked to kind of really show the world is Garrett Wilson I think you watch gett Wilson has been up and down with a bunch of different quarterbacks and somehow he won offensive rookie of the year he's been a guy who continues to show up last year they played a bunch of different quarterbacks a bunch of different quarterbacks that we all watch and was like this is this is not it as much as people want to beat up on Zack Wilson some of the guys they put in after Zack Wilson was even worse and Garrett Wilson still deliver so I think a healthy I don't think Garrett Wilson putting up more yards than Tyreek I don't think so Aaron Rogers gives him a chance to be at his best you watch The Joint practice some of the clips against the Giants he watched him in a training camp like gett Wilson looked like he was all over the field deep throws short throws so I look for him to have a big year this year who you got I look at this yall think Garett Wilson G more yards than Tyreek all be for real with me like be honest I don't think so bro you know them boys look good during the offseason all that h and a and Aaron Rodgers like it's whatever but I don't think he gonna get more interception you don't recover a fumble but you've blown up the interior of the offensive line to the point where all your other guys can go take care of business after that he's disruptive he's incredible and he makes it easier for guys on the back end not that s Gardner needs the help all pro in each of his first two seasons and if he keeps it up he'll have a bust in Canton but I'll go quinnon Williams and again it's clear the Jets have the best defense I mean it's amazing to me when you think of how they managed to not completely implode last year without Aaron roders it's because of the defense if they can get competent play out of the offense that in and of itself is enough to propel them Deon the Super Bowl contention and that's why it's so hard not to pick them to win this Division and not to say that they're gonna have a chance to be in that last game of the year because this defense no matter what stayed in games play like there was points in the season where we still he's still a good linebacker so the the linebacker is holding it down for the dline at this current moment you know they got some smart linebackers in there smart linebackers DBS I already know a full season and they need the guys that they acquire to just be good they don't need m Williams to be this stud receiver they just need him to be a compliment to Garrett Wilson they just need Bree the two big foundational pieces and Aaron Rogers he's played Four snaps of regular season football since January of 2023 and they play three games between September 9 and September 19 that's a lot to ask for to expect him to play 17 games at age 40 going on 41 coming off the Tor ailles tendon and he's still going to be in lined to use the muscles in his lower body to generate acceleration but some of those ligaments and tendons are going to be saying hey dude you're old sorry you're not you can't do that anymore and he's gonna have to play Within himself and I don't know that he can there's gonna be a sense of urgency I just feel like the bills look it's it's almost like the Tyreek thing they're the Kings somebody's got to go take the scepter and whack them over the head with it and and of lower signing a team looking to add back quarterback I wonder if that would make sense with Minnesota Vikings did not end up happening but for the Cleveland Browns I would expect them to have at
