Rachel linday from the Buffalo News here to recap the first day of the University at Buffalo football team's practice with new head coach Pete limo this is limbo's first practice as a head coach since 2015 when he held the same role at Ball State UB opens the 2024 season with a quarterback competition a returning star linebacker in west senica east Sean dolak who was at Utah State the last semester they have high expectations after a three and N season and a coaching change as the Bulls prepared for their season opener August 29th against Lafayette here's a look at the first day of practice for the [Music] [Music] Bulls this team first second down first and second down everything s Tempo everybody staying up off the ground from high school so our freshman basically came in in three waves we had five freshman that were done in May so they were able to come um uh Memorial Day and then we had a good chunk of freshman arrive on June 9th and then there was a small group that were mostly New York State kids that were going to school for the majority of June that came in later in June
