fire Festival 2 is officially happening uh oh hi M what's up for fam welcome back to my channel we like to experience everything that life has to offer I just did a poll asking you what do you want my next video to be about right now at least see the exact time of this video it is about 10 Things I wish should knew before staying in hostiles I will be posting that video so I want to say that that being said I saw this and I'm like I have to talk talk about it and you can see Billy McFarland just announced fire Festival 2 the ticket prices range from 1,400 to 1.1 million $1.1 million for a Festival ticket but you have to qualify to be able to purchase the ticket uh which we'll talk about in a second that's kind of interesting so let's watch this right so morning everybody we just announced on The Today Show That Fire 2 is taking place April 25th through April 28th on a private island off of the Caribbean coast in Mexico ticket applications are available on Fir Festival 2.com so they interview Fire 2 is happening April 25th uh of 2025 so we're 7 and a half months away we have a private island off the coast of Mexico in the Caribbean have the conversations at least begun with any musical acts we haven't booked any talent for it's not going to be just music for example crowed combat we're to them to set up a pit to have like live fights at fire Festival 2 McFarland says he's already sold 100 tickets at $500 a piece and packages will go on sale ranging from $1,400 to $1.1 million what do you get for $1.1 million yeah see you will be on a boat you'll be scuba diving with me you'll be bouncing around to other islands and other countries on small planes you believe someone will pay $1.1 million for a fire Festival to experience so we put applications for the million dollar ticket uh up a few months ago we had over 100 people apply so on that note of people applying this is the application it's a type form so you can see right here uh if we're going to start and just do this just to kind of scroll through to see what they want they want your name email phone number okay select do your Desir tickets so you have the fire starter or the basic the basic which is 1,400 which is I mean that's outrageous right I mean most Festival tickets I'd say going to be between 3 to maybe $500 I feel like maybe L lowers 200 so that's very very expensive right that's usually like the custom VIP package for like a festival we have 1400 fire VIP at 5 grand fire artist pass at $25,000 and lastly the perthus at $1.1 million and then going down here how many tickets would you like to purchase okay what's your Instagram kind of interesting and they put optional I like how they put that I feel like maybe they're they are scouting for influencers or whatever they kind of did that last time and then what else should we know maybe this is your chance to flex or say something now I got to be honest I have so many questions about this like the second I saw this my mind was going crazy because in case you didn't know I'm assuming you do but in case you didn't know what happened with the original fire Festival the original one it was a sugar honey iced te show it is now considered a meme and N of itself if you look what happened at with Electric Zoo in New York people are calling it like say the second fire Festival now it's almost like a phrase that people use to talk about a bad festival and essentially what happened they sold a bunch of tickets and it was a huge scam I mean a lot of the artist backed out all the private Villas that they promised were actually more just like disaster Aid tents and everything it was a nightmare right arguably one of like the worst Festival experiences period right for a lot of people even the food was supposed to be like the score mate whatever and it was just like some random sandwich or something it was just it did not work out and Billy McFarland who's kind of like the the head person of this whole thing got in a lot of trouble etc etc so now that leads us all the way to here and the fact that fire Festival 2 is happening blows my mind and let me know what you think in the comments about this because like I said I typically very rarely cover like new stories on this channel this channel is all about like experiencing new things a lot of vlogs random stuff but I was like I cannot not talk about this especially as a DJ music producer I know there's a lot of things that go into festivals I've been to a ton of festivals I think when it comes to festivals there are a lot of logistics you're dealing with artists you're dealing with Transportation food you're dealing with um electricity issues I mean there's so much more that goes into doing a music festival than you think and this is why there's certain companies that just specialize in this because of all the logistical nightmares and issues you do have to deal with and fire Festival did not work out whatsoever it was atrocious and like I said it's a meme now and I'm very curious I hate to say it like I've been looking at the comments of course and reading and already seeing the memes I am incredibly curious to see what's going to happen next year because on one end and this is what a lot of the comments have said and I hate to say it I do kind of agree with them where they're like okay if you get scammed again or the festival is horrible again is kind of your fault and obviously you could argue on both sides you know is that right or wrong but I'm like I would never go to this ever but the fact that they're already selling tickets is a bit interesting to me cuz I have two theories about that I'll be honest on one end paron me is like you know what maybe people are saying hey let's just do this for fun you know what I'll just send it because it will make a good story like I know some YouTubers and content creators who might do something knowing it might be bad but they know they could make a lot of money from it for example one really interesting Trend I've seen on YouTube and Tik Tok is going to the lowest ranked restaurant in your area that's actually been like a big Trend and here's the thing you know it's probably going to be bad it's the worst ranked restaurant in your area but doing a video about that might pop you off and get you a lot of views clicks and of course money so for some people they might just be buying tickets saying hey you know what we're going to send it we're going to do fire Festival 2 anyway because it's going to be a crazy story it's going to be a crazy thing that might happen on the other end though Billy McFarland whether you love him or hate him I have to give him credit I guess what credits do he is I guess a pretty smart Market marketer like when fire Festival I remember was marketing one genius thing they did and again I have to give them credit I thought this is unbelievably smart is they had a bunch of influencers post this like orange Square on Instagram and all they really mentioned was fire festival and I got to say I actually remember seeing that I actually remember seeing that before I heard about what fire Festival was way back when cuz I was scrolling on Instagram you know like a lot of people do and that orange Square stopped me I was like wait why is there just a random orange Square that's kind of weird and random and then saw fire festival and I was like what is fire Festival sought it more and more and I got to say love him or hate him he does have genius marketing but I also wonder with him saying he's already gotten about 100 people applying for that 1.1 million ticket how true is that or is that just all hype right we've probably all seen this when it comes to nightclubs for example this is a technique a lot of nightclubs use where you go to a nightclub or you walk by it or you drive by it and there's a bunch of people waiting outside bunch of people and then you eventually like say get in line you wait you get inside and the club has only like 10% of the people there and what they do is they make it seem like oh everyone wants to get in this club and then you get in the club and you're like oh they were just kind of doing like a bait and switch to make it seem like everyone's going maybe he's just saying already hundred people have signed up and are willing to spend $1.1 million when in actuality no one has right you never know he is a very smart marketer love him or hate him he's a very very smart marketer and so maybe just kind of making this like he's already sold a bunch of $500 tickets you know like you mentioned which obviously don't really exist anymore at least it seems like but I mean those pricing tiers the what $1,400 ticket $5,000 ticket $25,000 ticket and $1.1 million ticket what's intriguing to me when it comes to those specific numbers is it really is making it seem like he's targeting more of the upper class right especially with that $ 1.1 million doll ticket just that for a Festival ticket and then I was expecting maybe something I mean I don't know what I was expecting when watching this video cuz I was kind of curious like okay like yeah what do you get like she asked and it's crazy to me that all you really get is scuba diving with him and then chartering around and all this kind of stuff I mean I don't know right I mean so much of this is just glaring red flags everything about this is glaring red flags cuz half me is like there's no way he's doing this again like like it c means like there's no way after how much of a disaster the last one was arguably one of the most famous Festival stories ever I mean both Netflix and Hulu did a documentary about it and I will say this I watched both I expected both of them to be a bit repetitive because obviously it's two documentaries about the same thing not exactly the case I got to give them credit I felt like that both Netflix and Hulu whether they meant to do this or not maybe just complete coincidence although there were some crossovers I will say that I feel like both of them focused on different aspects of the festival itself in terms of all the negative stuff that happened and I highly suggest watching those documentaries they're both very well made and I will say this too if you've only seen one of them definitely watch the other one as well it's not one of those situations I'm like and if you've seen one you've seen them all no no no they're both very different in their own way and so when it comes to the disaster that was fire Festival like I said half me is like I I can't believe he's trying to do this again what is his angle is he is this out of ego is out of Pride the other half of me though is like almost impressed that he's like you know what fire Festival one of the worst most intense fesal stories of all time let's just try to do it all over again like I'm like the confidence is mindblowing to me and like I said maybe it's an ego thing maybe he's like you know what okay I know we messed up the first time but this time time's going to be different trust me this time's going to be different or maybe he's saying you know what I maybe he wants to scam people again maybe he's like hey you know what if I have 100 applicants and like say $1.1 million right there is about $100 million maybe I can take that run with it and um I could do what I want who knows if this going to be a situation where like say a bunch of people get scammed like what happened last time who knows like say if it's going to be actually pretty lit like you never know maybe to give him credit like again just look at every possible situation what if it actually goes really well I mean I don't think it is I really don't think it is but if it happens to go well I guess good for him good to the people who go but I just got to say I cannot believe this is happening with the disaster that fire Festival was with the stories about it the the videos the content the documentaries the the the media tension with everything that existed around fire festival and the fact they're running this back for a second time in April of 2025 I'm very interested to see what's G to happen
