kukua we going to is he going to be out for for a month or or longer what's what's the sense for for him right now yeah yeah so he's been banged up and so I think that they're going to take their time in bringing him back the good news for the Rams is that they feel great about where they're at at that position the depth they've got at that position is better than it has been and Cooper cup is I mean I I think everybody saw it right like he looks like the old Cooper cup and you know I remember talking to to Shawn mcfay about this over the summer and how excited they were because this is the healthiest he's been for an off season really since the Super Bowl year and so they felt like there was a really good chance that they were going to get the Cooper cup that we got used to seeing over the first five years of his career and not the guy who kind of been fighting through things the last couple of years so you know having the Cooper cup that they had in the Lions game and and who they think they'll have going forward is a huge help and it gives them some flexibility as does the depths to just take their time with puka nula and bringing him back and I I don't think it's any secret right like with puka part of the deal is his playing style does put him In Harm's Way quite a bit um you know he has almost like an Anquan Bolton type of playing style position and so you know I think that they want to be careful with with with what they're doing and bringing him back as much as he wants to play and the scoop with Christian mcaffrey let's uh let's hit this one because um he said on Friday that the his his I guess calf injury was not not big a big of deal for him and then on that night it seems like Jordan Mason was communicated with by somebody on the staff to either say you're starting or get ready right be ready be ready right be ready and um and and then he he's dominant against the Jets that said what's the scoop with mcaffrey what what how serious is this if he could if the NFC championship game is Sunday he he's playing um I think in to some degree like this is Kyle Shanah Hannah and the ners protecting Christian from himself and knowing we got a long season ahead Christian mcaffry has got a lot of injury history he's got a lot of miles on his legs and as well- conditioned as he is and as meticulous as he is about getting himself ready we're going to need him in January a hell of a lot more than we need him in September and I look like they've got the flexibility because they've got such a good team Rich you know what I mean like and and seeing seeing what what what they were able to do in the running game against the Jets only gives them more you know it gives them more ability to to to be flexible and bringing him back and so um you I think as much as anything else this is Kyle Shanahan knowing that this is something that can linger a calf can linger and ailles can linger and there can be really a bad C there can be a real bad circumstance that can arise from pushing somebody back out there before he's fully ready so as much as they want to see him out there you know seeing what they saw from Jordan Mason in that game on Monday night I think gives them the flexibility to play it safe and um you this is what we used to see the Patriots do back in the day right like where you almost treat the treat September as like an extended pre-season right like when they were really rolling with Brady where they could manage guys certain ways I think that's sort of what the nine are doing here with mcaffrey so what do you think do you do we see him Sunday or they're just going to be cautious again like what what's your I guess would be they'll be cautious again and we'll see him in week three that would be that's just my guess would be that's what we'll see so you you'd see them and they well I mean that would be one to return for at the Rams that would certainly be of importance you know yeah and that one and that one really matters too right because that one could be a tiebreaker um it could dictate who has a home game in the playoffs so yeah I think that that's probably when we'll see him back C the rich eyes and show every single day on the Roku Channel 12 to 3 Eastern for free
