School closings in Northeast Ohio as heat and humidity continue

They're out of really abundancef caution just because of that he. We're talking about upper 80s, lower 90s, making sure that students are, are safe Today, so far, 12 scho. Have cancelled class today including the Bedford City Scho. Also heritage Christian kindergn through 12th grade in Canton alg with the Parma School District o today would have been the first day of school for the district and the Facebook post to students and parents. The district went on to say we are looking forward to the first day of school and traditions this exciting occasion brings. However, the current forecast of insufferably hot temperatures is forcing us to postpone this exciting ri. They went on to explain how they got to their conclusions saying they used the real feel which ss how the temperature will actual. Feel like, which is supposed toe nearing 97 degrees at 1:00 later today. They said, yeah, we're not gonna do that. We're gonna make sure we're just closing school. Do this the right way. So for everyone else that's out and about today, make sure that you're drinking plenty of water. Start your day off with water instead of coffee, maybe today. And then also make sure that you limit your outdoor activities. Also, please be mindful of your pets. You limit out their outdoor activity as well. Give them plenty of water as we.
