good morning it's Thursday morning the 29th of August 2024 and we all know what happened last night Wolves beat Bernie 2-0 in the caribo cup second round uh kickoff was at 7:30 at wolver ampton now um I'm not going to say that this was a great performance I'm not going to say that we should have won because we shouldn't have won and we're up against the Premier League team like wol ramp and wanders who've got very good players and I presumed that they actually put out most of their best players last night whereas Burnley had a choice a little choice of to put out the new players that they actually brought in less than two weeks ago they started and most of them did 90 minutes right um first of all I'm not going to go into the match but I'm going to go into the after match uh match report from bashier Humphries now he had positive thoughts about burnley's defeat and also Scott Parker also had nothing but praise for the new players um and the goalkeeper HJ made great saves I don't know if you saw the match I just saw the highlights this morning he made a number of brilliant saves and obviously the score must should have been a lot more without him but let's going to now start off with this particular game it was on the 28th of August 24 the previous game was in the Premier League was wolves won Burnley Neil on the 5th of December 2023 this is let's talk Burnley your new team you have to look at this and think well that's sick now we've got to support this team but um we'll start off in the um 20th minute the first shot on goal um Burnley uh assist assisted by sambell um shot but obviously missed and 20 7th minute um Al ADI uh was injured 38th minute they they scored Getty scored a goal for wolves uh and then we came up to the SEC the end of the first half for four minutes of time added on right halftime stats burnly 53% I know it sounds crazy but it looked like we had a lot of possession but we didn't do anything with the ball uh one shot none On Target four fouls and no corners and uh stats for wolves was 46% 13 shots on in the first half five fouls two corners um and Five On Target so it it shows you that um the goalkeeper Burl's goalkeeper was doing a fine job then we come in now with the substitutes Burnley started the substitutes um Roberts replaced Brown Hill pz replaced Riley and MC Dermot replaced annabal um that's before the first half uh sorry it's before the second half started that was a new line up in the second half so now we got goal number two it was a terrible was a good goal for wall but it was terrible goal to let in from Burnley I mean it started off in their off and the player just ran straight through the defense and just tipped it over the goal the goalkeeper terrible uh so that was Gettys again and then in the 58th minute ly and ly Foster uh substitutes for rodrigue Rodriguez and in the 73rd minute yellow card for Robert the 77th minute a Miss shot by Roberts assisted by mcdermit a foster shot is blocked assisted by and then we got another substitute uh yuil replaces Joel warl whether it's to do with a Blackburn game or whether it's an injury I don't know oh no it says injury here sorry it says injury I hope it's not too bad and then we had 3 minutes of extra time and that was that was it final uh 2-0 to wolves so your next match uh 31st of August uh we are playing the big one uh Blackburn Rovers Which Scott Parker wants the team and the fans to get behind um the team to to actually try and help to win this game right the 14th of September we're away at leads and then the Saturday's 21st of SE September we are home to Portsmouth and then on the Saturday 28th of September we are way at Oxford United so now I'm going to give you the four time stats for that game Burley 49% three shots none On Target 11 fouls and no corners and wolves had 50% possession 17 shots in total for the game uh six on target 13,4 Corners so I know people are slacking off um bur's football team at the present moment but apparently we have three new potential signings before the end of the window I can't tell you their names um but it looks like with the we might be having attacking um players coming in so it makes it make might make a big difference let's hope that they can get in before the window closes and possibly um help us go go into the season against these Championship sides the games are going to com in thick and fast and obviously in January we start the FA Cup round once again so I don't know what your uh expectations are this year we don't get cup runs for Burnley um really and I don't think really nobody really wants them at this particular time uh we're all pleased that we're not in the caribo cup anymore uh let's hope that we don't we have an early exit in the FA Cup um third round possibly if we draw one of the big teams but after that we have to concentrate on the championship and see how far we can get up that table my expectations are not great I think we're not going to make the playoffs and if we do make the playoffs I don't think we'll get promoted this season and as I said before on my channel I personally do not want Burley to be promoted this year I want them to stay in the championship where Burnley fans can see their team grow and win and be happy with the wins rather than seeking promotion well that's it now until Saturday the big one against Blackburn Rover so all I'm going to say now is up the clars and keep the faith that's all I'm saying up the clar keep the faith right B fans got Clarence here he's going to be here
