London life | my favourite places & hidden gems, seeing Tom Holland in the theatre

[Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] hi welcome to my Vlog this is me in the future in the countryside and I'm going to be voicing over and just like jumping in here and there about what I've been up to in London the last few weeks so I was in Cambridge then went into London we're out in London in SoHo it's pouring we've just had haircuts and it's oh it's raining again raining on it but it's okay we're going to get our favorite drinks from Cafe leond door and I'm with my [Music] teddy hi G I feel like [Music] not so my sister was recording music she's a musician she's brilliant beautiful music so if you haven't heard yet I'll put her um Spotify and like apple music Link in my description here um she's been recording some amazing songs like some of my most favorite songs that I am lucky enough to have on my phone already so I can listen to it anytime want to see my friend saskia she invited me to her friend's exhibition for her art and Ceramics so I went went there that was really fun in Notting [Music] Hill and then I went book shopping at my favorite da books in Malbone if you've never been to London this is the one place you have to go to when you visit is my favorite place ever it was like a really big sporting time in England because obviously Wimbledon was on so everyone was trying to get into wimon and then there was like the EUR cup happening and England kept getting further and further into the compan comptition so it was just very exciting and fun and I don't really love sports in general but when it comes to like the bigger events I enjoy it my sister loves sports so I kind of just tagged along with [Music] her on the Euro Cup semifinal when England like won that game I went with my sister my cousin her boyfriend and a friend to a sports bar and we watched it and it was like an insane atmosphere during penalties and [Music] [Applause] everything the bigger and bigger reputation we every week of his life player who seemingly loves the pressure [Applause] [Music] [Applause] Miss [Applause] [Music] who won I mean obviously who do you think won what's the what's the verdict on that whole experience goland [Music] go and then we just had like pims and strawberries and cream and tea and watched Wimbledon outside and weather wasn't so good but it was still a nice time that's massive that is massive and then we went to see Hattie's town she oh my god I didn't even realize it was the same place it wasn't my favorite show I think I expected that one to be like to Blow Me Away more than it did and it and it didn't but I'm still happy I saw it and what I liked about it is that it Blended like a Greek myth into the story and music and like that was really cool I'm just going to run through all the theater iel over the last few months elizab bee these flowers are so gorgeous I'm just sitting outside in this little garden it's so pretty but there's a lot of bees everywhere oh I saw Spirited Away which I had been really really wanting to see I love the movie I love miia Zaki films in general and we went to see it it stayed really close to the film really beautiful set really great acting minimal dialogue very much relied on physicality and on puppetry and on movement and music and it was really really the spectacle and quite beautiful and I do just love that story in general so if you like the film you're going to like that show then end things all off I somehow managed to get tickets to see Rome and Julia at the Duke of York theater with Tom Holland I was so wanting to see this and I liked the show I went and saw it with my mom and my sister uh I had a better impression of it than they did like I enjoyed it more but then they also said I was biased because of Tom Hollands in it so it's a bit hard to separate your opinion of the show from the fact that Tom Holland was Romeo and that fact was very Forefront in my mind while I was watching it I really enjoyed it because I also just love the play like in general I've seen Roman Jia a few times this last year and I was like on the production team of one in Cambridge and I've just like been very in that story for a while so it was nice to see it told in a different way it was also interpreted in a really interesting way the script was condensed down by the actor who played Ben volio and I thought the way they did that was interesting they made it more Snappy and fast which in some cases I didn't love cuz I do really like the pcing of Shakespeare's writing and that play but I understand why they did that because people might prefer to see a short to play and like it was just interesting seeing how they um used they used the screen like there's this massive screen on the stage and there was the stage so you were watching a play but it was also almost like watching a film happen at the same time and they were really utilizing the fact that Tom is a Screen Actor as well as a theater actor and it did some things like in an unpredictable manner that I enjoyed and I just like seeing Tom Holland I mean that was fun too not [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] w [Applause] [Music] then I went to cinema in the park kind of thing to watch Harry Potter in the prisoner of asan cuz it was its 20 year um anniversary and that was really fun cuz I love that movie it's my sister's favorite so we went together with my mom [Applause] [Music] and then um yeah that's basically what was going on in London also I was like hanging out at my favorite Cafe [Music] [Music] [Music] hello we got some get the best biscuit and now now we're walking through oh thanks how do I know if you're in the Vlog you see on the little screen Mom that's not a good idea so cute [Music] good hi we're going to ke's house oh my gosh we're in h weather's nice and it's just beautiful I'm so excited we're showing around where ph's here from from Sydney local tour kids that's this is where I filmed it really oh to a nighting girl yeah we'll go walk we'll go walking what did you think and I can't believe they used to leave me drunk e my favorite poem poet poet which one's your favorite poem um I like go to a nighting girl o all otion ears good as well oh love love love it this is so funny like it just feels like to World Two Worlds colliding bringing Pho here as all of us being adults now and then this is like our childhood and then bringing fees here it's weird because like I know drn yeah yeah and then like you guys yeah you know [Music] yeah oh yes taste test okay okay Tes just traditional that's good it's good what's the feedback it's actually nice yeah look at that I like that one better than this 10 out of 10 10 out of 10 this is the best M me too I read that higher than this oh I like both some morees are still on top though and so yeah that is London for you saw lots of friends family was really a good time weather wasn't great but it was overall really nice and now I'm here in the countryside and I'm very happy I'm very in my element and I'm reading a book so what more could I want and I also just had tea and Cake I've been reading Ice by Anna cavan which I just found in a library but my friend Audie who recommends the best books recommended me this not too long ago and I've been like put it on my 2B red list so when I came across I was like I'm going to read this so now I am and I've already just sat down with like a cup of tea and read a couple chapters and I'm really already really in it so I'm very much enjoying that and I'm about to go to like a fashion event with my mom and sister so that's going to be fun I'm just chilling for an hour before I have to go to this event and reading a little bit more hello hello the weather is pretty much gray and almost rainy every day but you know what it's pretty cozy so today I'm wearing my favorite Reformation cardigan which I've been like wearing every single day anybody who's coming to London these are the only shoes you need right Maya oh oh oh oh don't forget this these shoes which are so are theut SP Emily has a pink or is yours any kind of suede Adas colorful shoe is the Sho and like the gazelle gazel gazelle or the spals they're very cute it is the morning we got up quite early and we had breakfast and I've got a call in like half an hour so Maya and I are just on a walk in the woods and it is so beautiful and I'm just soaking it all up because we're going to Australia very soon and yeah it's nice to enjoy England and to you know when you're in London it's always so nice and busy and fun but then it's really lovely coming out to the country and having like this kind of piece and green and really fresh air all right turn off oh gosh it's so beautiful
