NRL SuperCoach Beers & Breakevens Late Show: Round 26

K guys welcome back to the beers and break evens Late Show for round 26 answering all of your questions of super coach ones and the little silly ones too Timmy you excited we love the silly ones little silly sausages getting around cat how are you very good very good how are you boys yeah going okay going okay now before we get into our Rock off I would just like to point out we played golf last week and we had to have a number of rock offs I was waiting for this how long was it take your boy found a bit of form just quietly could need a golf board to [ __ ] save you himself but could win the occasional Rock off it was funny the rules of the day was was part three hello sport golf day was like pitching part was yeah it wasn't even part three and if you got a bogey it was yourself me and Rando if you got a bogey you had to neck a beer yeah and the first R we did I think you straight off the bat lost and station and then we didn't have any Bogies in one more I think me or Rando coped it you said out of it and then at the end of it we we had a few laate on and then as the beers started to hit we sort of you know little bit all over the shop and yeah you came good late I came very good late uh yeah well yeah tough day out um shall we what am I going for about 5 uh yeah I'd say say it's about in these chairs yeah but I'm feeling confident I'm feeling good based on what golf I'm sorber this time I've got let's do it ahes paper rock Cesar paper rock oh he's got me he's got me he got you with the scissors [ __ ] good by the way uh if you were on the betting Market at the start of our game of golf of how many pisses Tim would take during the show during the game of golf it was set at 7.5 over 18 holes he absolutely blew it away with a nine yes there was one hole where Tim had to piss twice yeah it inred we were waiting behind that mob for a fair Fairly long time I don't want context outside of it was a 40 m hole that he had to piss twice on yeah it was almost a landslide out there the teties were were flowing they were they were moving yeah yeah that's I do suffer from small bladder syndrome it's one of the smallest Bladers I've ever seen I took my first piss at the end of the game yeah you were n de you were one of the largest I've ever seen you can [ __ ] wild stop saying you've seen like you've seen each other's BLS it's weird we've had enough drinking sessions to know what Clockwork out Works um let's uh and I actually I've got a box this weekend on Saturday for my mate Nick who the only guy on this earth that could compete for you as far as small mate loves a piss it is different when you go out with someone like that cuz you you yeah you really have to concern yourself with the location of the bathroom quite often Nick's first date with his mes they went to a panic room and he had to he had to check out three times did he Panic he did yeah I'm sure he did he's on the phone to them going you need to let me out they're going you need to solve the puzzle he's like let me out or I'm pissing on your puzzle see that's that's not eyes up panic rooming from him like if I know I've got a situation like that or like you you look forward to it and you don't you don't drink a thing in advance three four hours in advance that's fair learn an experience You' seen you've seen it all guys while you're talking about the golf day the the punters and dribblers golf day I thought I would just throw a question at you based on on that day who do you think would have had the best super coach score oh you know if we would have just Twisted to golf I'll tell you who wouldn't have had a big super coach score Ed's eyelids that did nothing the entire day I play Edwards is he blink yet or it's so weird you see him on those videos and he just looks off his head like I didn't think he was that but it was the same as when we're at um magic round too that video went up and it looked like he was spaced out of his head that is one of the funniest things I've seen in punters and dribblers and the comments are so hilarious if you've not seen it it's Eddie just looking at Men's like without blink you know turn on the blink counter cuz I think there was no more than one yeah it was of be scary which I it's the man boo yeah Legend eh yeah one of the greats um there was a question in the the trivia section of it it was what minute did be meny score his try in the Grand Final and I looked over at him cuz we were we were debating whether it was 71st or 73rd and I sort of went you know 73 to him and he looked at me he goes I think so and then it came around and they're like and 71st minute and he goes [ __ ] and Rando actually had it right yeah shock yeah I cost us there oh well um Rando Rando he'd have to be up there right he had a day he got very chirpy with every hole yes he was uh Rando was borderline getting into getting punched areas had yeah and we were like going into it he wasn't so good-looking yeah going into it I said to him my H good goal for mate he goes yeah go right in that and we s have said Rando he's just he's got one of them Blocks he's just good at everything he does I reckon yeah he was not yeah well he wasn't but my gu he looked good standing next to me you did make him look good I [ __ ] I I've never hit anything worse yeah I showed up there not expecting much and I was still disappointed it was that was a tough day for me that was tough you you can hit him thanks mate the drunk you got I was good for you fell off a cliff I was good for 15 holes then the last three I CAU three of the bogey skulls and it really just hit me didn't it yeah you got to about the 14th hole and then you fell off a cliff and then I was the it was literally the last three last three yeah we lost the arrogance of me to Shar to that place with three golf balls I lost a ball on my first shot and I was I was down to one ball within three or four holes and I had 16 to go or something it was not good yeah it was it it wasn't good it great facility though shout out to yeah I think Rando would probably be what do you re what would he have scored um oh it was 100 AR a low 100 I'll tell you who made a late play and you weren't there for it but um Felix and totes of tigers fans Fame they had a big evening so those boys would have come homeed in strong yeah yeah how a crack to they're always top scorers but yeah I think I'd give it to Rando Rando good to know he's making the family proud yeah he sure is yeah that's nice let's do it okay first question y now this is a big one because we talked abouts and break Haven storm resting a lot of their players mock 1996 wants to know what to do with storm players currently got Hughes CA and Grant all missing this week yeah I mean obviously if you're in a head tohe head Grand Final probably stayed in the obvious but cell and overall though Broncos next week at sunor fully fresh great surfus sunor for super coach scoring generally a lot of points I'd be looking to hold I'd definitely hold Drome Hughes because he could go big in the the Broncos game if the Broncos do get done this week as well and their season's officially done they'll throw in the tail there's little ticker up there at the moment if they win and they're playing for top eight spot it's a different story uh but yeah I def hold Hughes if you can cover Grant this week I'd hold him Ellie C hold him yeah I think as long as your 17's fine do it if you do have quite a weak 17 and you want to strengthen it you can you can trade one of them but I think they're good players next week long 30 seconds uh I agree with everything you said overall I'm 100% holding those boys Bellamy he always gets his team up for Brisbane games uh head to heads you know obviously make moves if you can mhm okay cool melore Lang said my grand final opponent and I both have KP and Teddy in fullback if Dylan Edward is Dylan Edwards a sidewards play all right are we going to unleash our little super pod yeah we didn't do it during be and Bri Havens so if you've come to The Late Show you're welcome now we are hearing that there is a chance and as I said in mus break Evans Dylan Edwards is carrying an injuries not great I well we're hearing there's a chance that Dane Lorry could come in at full if Dan L does come in at fullback mate he's available what is he 5'8 fullback yep I absolutely love a Dane Lorie play this week and I think as far as the fullbacks go would be a nice play but I think moving on one of your 5'8 I don't reckon any of those Sixers go huge this week if Dan Lorry is playing this week I think he will be the top scoring 58 in super coach I really like that play what do you reckon especially for head-to-head as you said huge anding old mate who asked the questions the case who's out to him at fullbacks said he can get him at 5'8 that's the key yeah I love him as a onewe play he scores at fullback well they had 97 last week that was on the wing before that 40 and 69 minutes that was against the storm tough game actually that would have been on the wing as well I think I think it was it was yeah okay so fullback 134 against the eels 50 against the dragons in 20 minutes when he got the head knock 111 against the Dolphins he had 128 not long ago against Manley there yeah I think is he a captain option if you bring him in I think he is I think he's at least worth a consideration yeah even I do I I still think like P and Teddy's matchups are so good I think they're the obvious ones but yeah he is Sydney without Cam Murray yeah the overall overall players the concern is like if if Edwards is out and Lor play fullback does Edwards just come stra back in next week at fullback and Lori drops out in a week that people could be very short yeah that that's a punt but I also like I just I wouldn't be surprised if Dan laor does just find his way in there somewhere even if he LS on the wing or something for that game against the Titans that's just as good South and Titans back toback weeks at penth it's [ __ ] delicious if if we get news that Dan laor is going to be fullback I will be trading him in this week it's a move that I am going to make yeah I like it yeah I I I heavily back it nice C and to enter old mate's question for that resting risk whether it's this week or next week and You' have to trade out Teddy or ponga around soonly oh dear lord uh now I'm going to throw this to you first yeah so we covered this uh on the Playbook podcast last night being head toad Grand Final week the question was who are the biggest scores this week who do we get in because we only care about this week and we don't worry about round 27 so we did our top Target so I've got them here and we're going to keep Teddy turbo despite turbo having a tough match up kayin ponga and I've even added Dom young to it these great great matchups they're the big boys outside of that though I love Val holes I think against play storm I think he's him and lowmax I've got sort of one and two yes I think low Max's matchup they a fantastic so I'm going to go I'm G to put lmax just ahead of v v number two I really like Jerome Lui against the rabitos I do I think it's a great fixture I think they'll be up for it and I think he'll be in everything I think Sammy Walker is a great shout if the Raiders don't turn up it's a bit hard to predict which version of the Raiders do turn up but I think he's du for big one I like Brian totto and then yeah it's probably my top five and I think you'd nearly throw gagy T in as well I wouldn't change too much I'm not huge on L if Dan Lor's playing fullback for penth I'm putting him in there that changes bit yeah yep he goes straight in uh the other one that I like I like the look of that Bradman best Mario Edge I'm really filthy I don't have one of those guys AR and they could go big this week outside of that I'm pretty much agree with all that you said there mate Beauty yeah Beauty okay next question C this is actually uh something to react to so somebody has sent in a photo so I will Chuck it up right here right now but um do you want to react to this from Grants it's Timmy looking at you saying poor old predictable Rue always picks Rock and then Rue saying good old rock nothing beats Rock one of the great scenes that's a great Simpsons meme great SC get a hold of that uh if you you want to find the way to our heart Simpson memes are the way to do it like there's there's good things in the world but Simpson memes are so love that shout outu okay there is just one more question Andy Tas wants to know because they can't afford Grant cook or little who should they get oh hasn't cook been a little surprise packet this year mate what I just kept thinking I haven't really needed a hook us so I haven't needed to look into it too too much but kep thinking Melos was going to take minutes off anybody's like no we're just going to keep playing Cookie 80 despite leaving the club and being out of the running whatever but yes he has um I like the Jacob little play cat went him last week and I appreciate I think he's pretty heavily traded in this week so I like that play M the other one that I would be considering and I I don't know how expensive he is or whatever but Robson coming off a buy I think he's locked into play the next two weeks if he didn't need another hook I I think G Robson would be a nice play I'm I've got appy and Wade Eagan so I'm just going to hit and hope with Eagan this week I don't want to waste trades on hooker personally but I've obviously got one to use but don't sleep on R Robson I I think that' be a nice little tradeing yeah I it's a good call and I said against a very depleted storm outfit a very fair play he'll plays big minutes he'll play Big minutes next week so yeah I like the r go I do think Little's the play though averaging what three round average of 77 five round average of 73 playing big minutes for the dragons who have a really nice run home against the eels and the Raiders I think little is the man if you want to go a little bit not so much more left field but Conor Watson's been named on the bench but with the really good fixtures to come for the roosters if he does come back in and start I kind of expect him to they've named that butcher there but don't see why they'd go away from Watson who's started there all year and killed it uh if Watson was to start I still like a Watson play but I think little is your number one don't like cookie because he's playing pen with into the roosters is um is Connor Watson coming back from a hiia yeah yeah I like that sure surely he plays minimum 60 yeah he's had his rest he played he played 15 minutes in the game into eels when he got that hia he had the buy the week before that and then didn't play last week so he's fresh as a day yeah he's well rested yeah I like that play Sweet stunning that's all the questions D and
