Has been as good as any starter right now in the game and he's been certainly consistent for the twins 354 a, a little bit elevated because of a couple of starts early, but he's had 11 straight quality starts, just lights out and Merrifield extends his on base streak to 20 consecutive games. Merrifield is aboard and Jorge Soler will be the hit as Merrifield goes for second. It won't matter. He can walk in there. So a single for Merrifield, a free pass for Soler two on nobody out. Climbing in Marcelo Zuna, ground ball up the middle with Marel will turn and three batters in Atlanta has a one to nothing lead RB I single. Marcelo Zuna, he has driven in 95 this year. Good to see because he does it against the changeup, but they had him pulled to the pull side here. That pitch is outer third and Marcel takes it right back up the middle for that RB I single. Good to see the Braves get on the board early against the guy who has been pitching so well. So the Braves have a chance here to deal a strong blow in the top of the first as matt Olsen digs in another 0 to 2 to Olson. That ball is hit high and deep to right field and it is long gone. Atlanta, an absolute thing of beauty here to see the first inning for the Braves and for matt Olson who's been swinging a pretty good bat here lately, you can see that swing has been starting to come around. He's going to get a cutter that is just not going to do very much. It's elevated, but we have seen Matt Olson get to some pitches up and in even the hard heat here recently. So you're going to throw a cutter in there at lower velocity. This is a terrific start. Here's travis D and there's the first out and that gives you an idea of what Ober wants to do, right? He wants to slow you down with that changeup and Then try to finish you with the fastball. I remember this offense and this is fun to watch your first pitch and there's a change of it. And Mayfield's going to reach again, three hits in three innings for whit me to say that whit Med is comfortable in the leadoff spot would be an understatement. So you're somewhat taking gingerly steps coming in, but at the same time trying to go hard and he picks that one right off the turf and here's matt Walner up the middle and a base hit to center and Castro will try for third base. Knick's throw is nowhere close, bounces back out of the field of play with that Walner makes second base. I'm shocked that Kel nick even threw that baseball. So now the bottom of the order Austin Mart-n to third down the line, she a bare hands. No throw to first. He'll feed third Walner safe there run scores. It's 9 to 2 infield hit austin Mart-n picks up his 16th RB I Castro scores. This is a good baserunning play by Walner coming in behind and it's actually a nice play by Urshela here he's got, he knows he has no chance. You see him charging in here. He's not going to get austin Mart-n the throw and Then come back and see if they catch Walter around in the bag. Here's mark got to be towards the hole and into left field. A base hit Walner scores Mart-n racing for third base to throw there the slide and he is safe, aggressive base running there by Austin Mart-n and it worked out as Margo picks up his second hit. Another run is in, it's 9 to 3. No challenge for Atlanta. A run is in 1st and 3rd 2 outs and now Royce Lewis, nice job of hitting here by Margo. He stays with that big curveball. Batters have had a hard time with Mart-n, it is an aggressive play too much for his manager. I think if he's thrown out there with two out, it's, it's not a good thing, but he, yeah, he, he just gets in his fingertips on the bag and here's Roy zero for two tonight swing and a foul tip into the mid for strike 37 strikeouts for free. But the twins do get two to be a leadoff walk with Mayfield three for three tonight to right center and Merrifield is four for four and he's thinking two Walters throw to second base to catch the tag and he's out and the Braves will challenge a play that will make his pick and come back. But does the cleat make contact with the base at that point? The field stands, the runner is out. Atlanta will lose their two away here in the sixth inning and now it's up to Ozuna. We're also talking about a guy who has had bad command this year, right? The control has not been good and so Orlando is aware of that you take advantage whenever you can, I guess who's coming up with the bases loaded well, this could be fun to right center deep and playable for Harris. Once again, it's a home run to the dock and right and the twins are down four and maybe he heard you coy and reminded him, he used to look slider because he got slider there. Admittedly it was kind of a hanger, but he was all over it. Their last hope is Royce Lewis swing and a miss strike three ballgame over Braves win. They use nine runs for the first two innings to cruise the rest of the way and get a 10 to 6 victory over the Twins.
