Benn nobbade NHL-spel för Brynäs – löftet till lagets forwards

Greg Scott I I talked to him I've talked to him for probably the last six months I'm both thinking about uh coming here and this being an idea to come here and um to get to play with him again it's been since we were kids and uh got the deal done I'm on my way and I get a call from him and said he's hurt um it's that's hockey you know he'll be back he uh he's a tough kid so um we'll get to play eventually Jo get a contract in Dallas or there there was a an offer on the table um but it wasn't exactly what I was looking for so um you know I thought uh talk to Greg some more and talk to Johan and I just said you know talk to the family and say why don't we go overseas and go to Sweden see Greg and you know see a bit of the world and and play some good hockey so we're we're really excited to be here and you know we're uh I'm here to win and that's bottom line Greg told you about BR and uh he's told me quite a bit um he's a bit of a jokester so I don't know what's true and what's not um but uh you know I'll uh me and my family will uh will be the judges of brus and gav is it gav ja jav ja that's good corre pronounce kind of like French is yeah no we're uh we're really excited to be here really excited uh since how long have Greg and you have been talking about maybe one day you can go here and play with him together uh it's been over a year uh I was still playing in Minnesota so it's been over a year since I talked to him and I got I got in touch with Johan and um you know we've been talking about this for a good better part of a year now so um it's really cool you know when when when you talk about stuff like that you never really know if it's actually going to happen but uh it happened and we're here and we're excited man I say that you like a defensive D Man uh but you have like scored a lot of points in NHL like 22 for one season do you think you can bring it for sure you know it's it's one of those things you get uh in uh the NHL you get put into a certain category of what you're going to do and um my category was being a defensive defenseman that's how I that's how I played the game and that's how I could stay in the league so you know you you you grab that role and you run with it so um you know I've definitely I've put the puck in the net a few times and I think I can uh I can help the the forwards and um you know just get them the puck when do you think you will be ready to play uh next week sometime for sure um I like I said I'm I'm I've been skating and working out pretty hard so it shouldn't take me too long to uh get over the jetl get settled and and get in the games we're excited
